    SIG DALAM PEMETAAN SEBARAN GURU IPS DAN GEOGRAFI DI WILAYAH KOTA METRO

    This research aimed to review the use of GIS in mapping the distribution of social studies and geography teacher at junior and senior high school on Metro Citys region in 2014. This research focused on map,GIS data and the distribution of social studies and Geographys teacher at Metro City. This research used descriptive informative method. The results in this study were proved that the data like facilities, teacher of junior and senior high school in Metro city can be presented through maps and GIS and the distribution and the need for social studies and Geographys teacher at the Metro City region is not spread evenly and infact, it encounter excess of social study and geography teacher and that data can be presented through the map.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang pemanfaatan SIG dalam pemetaan sebaran guru IPS dan geografi pada SMP dan SMA Negeri Diwilayah Kota Metro tahun 2014. Titik tekan kajianya pada peta dan data SIG SMP dan SMA serta persebaran guru IPS Geografi di Kota Metro. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif informatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah data fasilitas serta guru SMP dan SMA Negeri di Kota Metro dapat disajikan melalui peta dan SIG serta diketahui bahwa sebaran dan kebutuhan guru IPS Geografi di wilayah Kota Metro tidak merata bahkan mengalami kelebihan guru IPS Geografi dan keadaan tersebut dapat disajikan melalui peta.Kata Kunci: sistem informasi geografi, pemetaan, basisdata, kebutuhan guru

    PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN KESIAPAN BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR GEOGRAFI SMA SWADHIPA

    This study aimed to find out (1) the effect of achievement motivation toward learning geography subject, (2) the effect of readiness on learning achievement, (3) the effect of learning motivation and readiness toward geography subject learning achievement. This study used quantitative descriptive method. The population were XI grade students as many as 69 students with 35 students as sample. Documentation and questionnaires were used as data collecting technique. Data analysis were multiple linear regression correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed (1) students' motivation on learninggeography subject affect their learning achievement with 36.5% of rising, (2) the effect on the achievement of learning readiness to learn geography 33.2% of rising, (3) learning motivation and learning readiness affect the geography subject learning achievement with 71.8% of rising.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadapprestasi belajar geografi, (2) pengaruh kesiapan terhadap prestasi belajar, (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar dan kesiapan belajar terhadap prestasi belajar Geografi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas XI sejumlah 69 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 35 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan angket. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi regresi linier ganda dan regresi linier ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) motivasi belajar berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar geografi dengan kontribusi pengaruh 36,5%, (2) kesiapan belajar berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar geografi dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 33,2%, (3) Motivasi belajar dan kesiapan belajar berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar geografi dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 71,8%.Kata kunci: kesiapan belajar, motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar geografi

    FAKTOR PENYEBAB KESULITAN BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X PADA MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI

    This research was aimed to know the causal factors of learning difficulties of student in grade X on the geography subject in Miftahul Jannah Islamic Integrated Senior High School Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015 with the point of study were physiology, psychology, family, school, mass media, and social environment factor. This research used ex post facto method with descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection were used an observation, the questionnaire, interview, and documentation technique. Data analysis was held by using percentase tabulation technique. The results of research indicated that the students learning difficulties caused by physiology (students condition physic), family, school, and mass media factors. As for psychology (students mental condition) and social environment factors have less influence to learning difficulties on the geography subject in Miftahul Jannah Islamic Integrated Senior High School Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Jannah Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015 dengan titik kajian pada faktor fisiologi, psikologi, keluarga, sekolah, media massa dan lingkungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisa data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik tabulasi persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar siswa disebabkan oleh faktor fisiologi (keadaan fisik siswa), keluarga, sekolah, dan media massa. Adapun faktor psikologi (keadaan mental siswa), dan lingkungan sosial kurang memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesulitan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Jannah Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015.Kata Kunci: faktor penyebab, geografi, kesulitan belajar

    PEMETAAN SARANA DAN PRASARANA SMA KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU TAHUN 2014

    Geographic Information System (GIS) is expected data visualization through information maps facilities of Senior high school in Pringsewu so that will be a maximum and informative. This study uses the development of a prototype model. The object of this research is geospatial data which is divided into spatial data and Attribute Data. Data was collected through observation and documentation. Analysis of the data is the digital analysis, data presentation, and data verification and data description as the final report of this study.The results in this study: Digital map of the facilities in senior high school Pringsewu can help to provide information about what facilities is owned by Senior high school in Pringsewu description of each of these schools. Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG) diharapkan visualisasi data melalui peta informasi sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu akan lebih maksimal dan informatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pengembangan dengan model prototype. Objek dalam penelitian ini yaitu data geospasial yang terbagi menjadi data spasial dan data attribute. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yaitu dengan analisa digital, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data dan deskripsi data sebagai laporan akhir dari penelitian ini.Hasil dalam penelitian ini:Peta digital mengenai sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu dapat membantu memberikan informasi mengenai apa saja sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki SMA di Kabupaten Pringsewu deskripsi mengenai masing-masing sekolah tersebut.Kata kunci: pemetaan, sarana dan prasarana, sistem informasi geograf

    PEMETAAN DATA MONOGRAFI KECAMATAN PRINGSEWU TAHUN 2014

    This study attempted to make a thematic map by using data monographdistrict of Pringsewu in terms of (1) the location of the district office and village offices; (2) the location and number of public/private senior highschool; (3) the location of health infrastructure; (4) the population based on religion; (5) population density; (6) land use; (7) the number of industry and; (8) the number of acceptors KB. This research was using descriptive informative method. This research used the descriptive than informative method. The results of this research were; (1) a location map of district office and village offices; (2) a location map and the number of public/private senior high school; (3) a location map of health infrastructure; (4) a population map based on the religion; (5) a population of density map; (6) land use map; (7) a map of the number of industry and; (8) a map of the number acceptors KB.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat peta tematik dengan menggunakan data monografi kecamatan Pringsewu berupa data tentang (1) lokasi kantor kecamatan dan kantor desa/kelurahan; (2) lokasi dan jumlah SMA Negeri/Swasta; (3) lokasi prasarana kesehatan; (4) jumlah penduduk berdasarkanagama; (5) kepadatan penduduk; (6) penggunaan lahan; (7) jumlah industri serta; (8) jumlah akseptor KB. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif informatif. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) peta lokasi kantor kecamatan dan kantor desa/kelurahan; (2) peta lokasi dan jumlah SMA Negeri/Swasta; (3) peta lokasi prasarana kesehatan; (4) peta jumlah penduduk berdasarkan agama; (5) peta kepadatan penduduk; (6) peta penggunaan lahan; (7) peta jumlah industri serta; (8) peta jumlah akseptor KB.Kata kunci: pemetaan, monografi kecamatan, pringsewu

    DESKRIPSI LINGKUNGAN TEMPAT TINGGAL NELAYAN DI WLAYAH PESISIR KELURAHAN KANGKUNG

    This study aimed to describe the living conditions of fishermen in coastal areas seen on the physical condition of the house, water sources, latrines/toilets, garbage disposal, waste water disposal, and the level of knowledge about the environmental health of fishermen families. The method used in this research was descriptive. Population of this research were as many as 908 fishermen. The sample size in this study was 90 households. The results in this study was the physical conditions of the fishermen house is not healthy, sources of water used comes from the taps (PDAM), sewage/latrine is in the form of pit type, disposal of garbage is by throwing directly into the sea, the disposal of waste water is by flowing it directly into the sea, and the level knowledge of fishermen about the health of the environment is high.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi tempat tinggal nelayan di wilayah pesisir dilihat dari kondisi fisik rumah, sumber air, tempat pembuangan kotoran/jamban, cara pembuangan sampah, tempat pembuangan air limbah, dan tingkat pengetahuan kepala keluarga (KK) nelayan tentang kesehatan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini sebanyak 908 KK nelayan. Besarnya sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 90 KK. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kondisi fisik rumah KK nelayan tidak sehat, sumber air yang digunakan berasal dari PDAM, tempat pembuangan kotoran/jamban bertipe cemplung, cara pembuangan sampah dengan membuang langsung ke laut, tempat pembuangan air limbah dengan mengalirkan langsung ke laut, dan tingkat pengetahuan KK nelayan tentang kesehatan lingkungan tergolong tinggi.Kata kunci: lingkungan tempat tinggal, nelayan, wilayah pesisir

    PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI

    The objective of this research was to find out information about the influence of discovery learning model application to students learning results in geography subject of Grade X in State Senior High School 1 in academic year 2014/2015. Population was 194 Grade X students in State Senior High School 1 in West Merapi. 64 respondent samples were taken using simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using t-test analysis. The results showed that there was a significant difference of average of gain values between classroom that received discovery learning model and classroom that received lecturing method. The conclusion was that learning process by using discovery learning model influenced students learning method in geography subject.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA N 1 Merapi Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Merapi Barat sebanyak 194, jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 siswa diperoleh teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t. Hasil analisis data diperoleh adanya perbedaan yang signifikan rata-rata nilai gain pada kelas yang diberi perlakuan model discovery learning dan pada kelas yang diberi perlakuan metode ceramah, untuk nilai kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi.Kata kunci : discovery learning, hasil belajar, penerapan model pembelajaran

    PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR GEOGRAFI MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SNOWBALL THROWING

    The purpose of this study was to analyze :(1)the difference between pretest of the control class which used conventional learning method, and experimental class which used snowball throwing learning model (2)the difference between the posttest of the control class and the experimental class,(3)the increase of student learning outcomes in the material environment, used snowball throwing learning model. The research method was using quasi experiments. Population was grade IX students IIS in State Senior High School 2 in Kotabumi. Samples ware grade IX IIS1 and XI IIS 2, taken by using Purposive Sampling. The data were analyzed using t-tests and n-gain.The results indicated that: (1)There was no significant differences in pre-test of experimental class and control class(2)There was significant differences in the post-test of experimental class which swas higher than the control class (3) snowball throwing learning model can increase geography learning outcomes in the experimental class was higher than the control class.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis : (1) perbedaan antara pretes kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional dan kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran snowball throwing (2) perbedaan antara postes kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen (3) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi lingkungan hidup menggunkan model pembelajaran snowball throwing. Metode penelitian dengan menggunakan Quasi eksperimen. Populasi adalah siswa kelas IX IIS di SMA Negeri 2 di Kota Bumi. Sampel adalah kelas XII IIS 1 dan XI IIS 2, diambil dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan n gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1)Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pretes pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (2) Ada perbedaan yang signifikan dalam postes kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol (3) model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar geografi di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, geografi, snowball throwin

    PENGARUH METODE EVERYONE IS TEACHER HERE TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR GEOGRAFI

    This research was aimed at finding out (1) the difference between the students activites, (2) students pre-test result, (3) the students achievement by using learning method of everyone is teacher here and conventional method,(4) the effect of learning method of everyone is teacher here on the students achievement. Quasi experiment was used in this research. The populations in this research were 299 students with research samples of 78 students. To analyze the data, T-Test and linear regression analysis were used. The results showed that (1) there was a difference between the students activites during learning process by using method of everyone is teacher here and conventional method, (2) there was no difference between students pre-test result experiment class and control class, (3) there was a difference between the students achievement by using everyone is teacher here method and conventional method, (4) there was an effect of learning method of everyone is teacher here on the students learning achievement of geography.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan aktivitas belajar siswa, (2) nilai Pre-test siswa, (3) hasil belajar menggunakan metode Everyone Is Teacher Here dan metode konvensional, (4) pengaruh metode Everyone Is Teacher Here terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sejumlah 299 siswa dengan sampel penelitian sebesar 78 siswa.     DESKRIPSI POTENSI WISATA PANTAI SARI RINGGUNG KECAMATAN TELUK PANDAN KABUPATEN PESAWARAN

    This research aimed to describe the potential on tourism and explain how the condition of potential on tourism was. In collecting data, the researcher used observation, structural interview, and documentation. The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis and percentage. The results showed that (1) the tourism potential that have been had such as the physical potency, tour facilities, accessibility, promotion and information. (2) the situation of tourism potential included the physical potency that encompassing the beach with white sands and width, the coast was in superficial category, the availability of tasteless water, the waves were relatively calm, and also the clarity of the water were pure. The facility was good and maintained. The accessibility to the place was easy to reach out. The promotion and information were good, therefore those things could be proved by some visitors testimonies.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan potensi wisata (2) mendeskripsikan bagaimana keadaan potensi wisata. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi lapangan, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan persentase. Hasil penelitian ini (1) potensi wisata yang dimiliki berupa potensi fisik, fasilitas wisata, aksesibilitas serta promosi dan informasi. (2) keadaaan potensi wisata berupa potensi fisik yang berupa pantai yang berpasir putih dan lebar, pantai yang tergolong datar, tersedianya air tawar, gelombang laut yang kecil dan air laut yang jernih. Fasilitas wisata yang baik dan terawat. Aksesibilitas menuju obyek wisata yang mudah dijangkau. Promosi dan informasi obyek wisata yang baik, hal ini terbukti dari sebagian besar wisatawan pernah mendapatkan informasi.Kata kunci: wisata, pantai, potensi
