La dimensión ética de la democracia. Raúl R. Alfonsín y la transición argentina
Full text linkThe transition to democracy in Argentina was characterized by the leadership of the radical Raúl R. Alfonsín and his peculiar interpretation of the democratic political regime. This article aims to analyze the evolution of the ethical dimension of democracy, starting from the Seventies and for all the Eighties of the Twentieth Century. This idea was disseminated, in the beginning, in the party of the Unión Cívica Radical and, then, achieved a broad popular consensus. With the end of the decade, however, thetrajectory of the ethical dimension of democracy in the Alfonsinist interpretation declined definitively.El periodo de la transición a la democracia en Argentina se caracterizó por el liderazgo del radical Raúl R. Alfonsín y su peculiar interpretación del régimen político democrático. Este ensayo pretende analizar la evolución de la dimensión ética de la democracia, partir de los años Setenta y por todos los años Ochenta del siglo XX, esta idea se difundió, en principio, en el partido de la Unión Cívica Radical y luego conquistó el consenso popular. Con la aproximación al final de la década, pero la trayectoria de la dimensión ética de la democracia en la interpretación alfonsinista declinó definitivamente
El enredo patrimonial de Tiwanaku (Bolivia): una aproximación desde la etnografía arqueológica
Full text linkThe article presents a long-term history of the patrimonialisation of the archaeological site of Tiwanaku with a focus on the social relatedness triggered by the ruins. A constant tension between official discourses and indigenous sociability emerges, from colonial times, through the affirmation of the modern nation-state, to the advance of multicultural neoliberalism. The analysis informs the power dynamics that characterise the plurinational state from a cosmopolitical reading of heritage relationships.El artículo propone una historia de la patrimonialización del sitio arqueológico de Tiwanaku desde una perspectiva de larga duración y centrada en la relacionalidad activada por las ruinas. Lo que emerge es una tensión constante entre discursos oficiales y sociabilidad indígena desde los tiempos coloniales, pasando por la afirmación del estado nacional moderno, hasta el avance del neoliberalismo multicultural. El análisis informa sobre dinámicas de poder que caracterizan al estado plurinacional desde una lectura cosmopolítica de las relaciones patrimoniales

Full text linkThe current migratory movement from Venezuela to Colombia is at the heart of a heated debate. This paper aims to focus the attention on the Colombian context, starting from the transition process generated after the internal armed conflict. After that, border dynamics and migration policies will be examined, highlighting how the centrality of the subject order / disorder, social harmony / disharmony has also oriented the construction of the figure of the Venezuelan migrant both politically and in the media, with consequences on the reception and inclusion.L’attuale movimento migratorio dal Venezuela verso la Colombia è al centro di un acceso dibattito. Il presente lavoro intende focalizzare l’attenzione sul contesto colombiano, muovendo dal processo di transizione post-conflitto armato interno. Nel prosieguo si prenderanno in esame le dinamiche frontaliere e le politiche migratorie, facendo emergere come la centralità del discorso ordine/disordine, armonia/disarmonia sociale abbia orientato anche la costruzione del migrante venezuelano sia a livello politico che mediatico, con conseguenze sull’accoglienza e sull’inclusione

Full text linkThis article analyzes the use and disputes of memory about the Araguaia Guerrilla, based on the tribute paid by former president Jair Bolsonaro to Major Curió, accused of atrocities during that conflict. The methodology consisted of a bibliographical review and consultation of the press and documentary records. It was found that the Guerrilla was a subject of voluntary oblivion during the Civil-Military Dictatorship and that, even today, there is a struggle between the defenders of official memory and the groups seeking to reconstitute the memory of the victims of repression and to make historical reparationsNeste artigo, analisa-se o uso e as disputas da memória acerca da Guerrilha do Araguaia a partir da homenagem feita pelo ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro ao Major Curió, acusado de atrocidades durante esse conflito. A metodologia constou de revisão bibliográfica e de consulta à imprensa e registros documentais. Constata-se que a referida Guerrilha foi motivo de esquecimento voluntário durante a Ditadura Civil-Militar, e que, ainda hoje, há uma luta entre os defensores da memória oficial e os grupos que buscam a reconstituição da memória das vítimas da repressão e uma reparação histórica

Full text linkWith this essay, we intend to study one of the particularities of José Saramago’s style that has escaped those who have been studying his work: reflection on writing itself and, more specifically, on the matter of language, that is, the words he uses and their meanings. The writer often goes on a series of wanderings, in which he reflects on the semantic properties of certain words or expressions, a rare or even non-existent process in other Portuguese writers.Com este ensaio, pretendemos tratar uma das particularidades do estilo de José Saramago que tem escapado aos que se vêm ocupando do estudo da sua obra: a reflexão sobre a própria escrita e, mais concretamente, sobre a matéria da linguagem, ou seja, as palavras que utiliza e os seus significados. O escritor, amiúde, faz uma série de deambulações, em que reflete acerca das propriedades semânticas de certas palavras ou expressões, processo raro ou até inexistente noutros escritores portugueses
