Get PDFThe two clue values of writing as a duo are the possibility of developing themes that would be alien to the writers as individuals, and the enjoyment it produces. This way of writing unfolds, redesigns and extends the authorial self. However, its most frequent stumbling block comes from the temptation to become the main author. The ethical aspect is evident in the stages of distribution and conversion of the symbolic capital, as well as the economic and consecration one. Regarding the experience of Borges and Bioy Casares, we will address three aspects: the relational conformation of the duo, the method used and the convergence of styles, and ethics.Los dos valores fundamentales de la escritura a dúo son la habilitación de temáticas que a los escritores les resultan ajenas en términos de individualidad y el disfrute que provoca. Esta modalidad despliega, rediseña y extiende el yo autoral, y su escollo más frecuente deriva de la tentación de convertirse en el autor principal. El aspecto ético se hace evidente en las etapas de distribución y de conversión de capital simbólico, de consagración y económico. Get PDFThe purpose of this article is to raise the possibility of thinking about the pandemic based on the notion of catastrophe, but conceived not so much in terms of defeat as of opportunity. What is at stake is not only the effects of the coronavirus on the population but also the models of social functioning, environmental management, and the relationships between humans and non-humans and between humans. Beyond any conspiracy theory, or purely biological or administrative approaches, the pandemic calls into question the current frameworks of governmentality. The contextual referent for this study is Latin American cities.El objetivo de este artículo es plantear la posibilidad de pensar la pandemia desde la noción de catástrofe, pero concebida no tanto en términos de derrota como de oportunidad. Lo que está en juego no son solo los efectos del coronavirus en la población sino los modelos mismos de funcionamiento social, de manejo del ambiente, las relaciones entre humanos y no humanos y entre humanos. Más allá de cualquier teoría conspirativa, o de cualquier enfoque puramente biológico o administrativo, la pandemia pone en cuestión los marcos actuales de gubernamentalidad. Get PDF The article analyzes in historical perspective the ways in which Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) in Argentina become agents considered efficient for the management of social policy from the 90's. It focuses on the forms of legitimation that referents -NGO directors and senior officials of the socio-assistance field- display in different periods about the legitimacy granted or denied to NGOs to intervene in the socio-assistance field, the ways in which the relationship with the State is configured and the boundaries of a complex, changing, non-linear link are drawn. This paper uses interviews with directors of organizations and state officials; and the analysis of regulations and institutional documents.El artículo analiza en perspectiva histórica los modos en que las Organizaciones no Gubernamentales (ONG) en Argentina se convierten en agentes considerados eficientes para la gestión de política social desde la órbita estatal a partir de los años 90. Se concentra en las formas de legitimación que referentes -directivos de ONG y altos funcionarios del campo socio asistencial- despliegan en diferentes periodos sobre la legitimidad otorgada o denegada a las ONG para intervenir en el campo socio asistencial, los modos en que se configura la relación con el Estado y se trazan las fronteras de un vínculo complejo, cambiante, no lineal. El trabajo se vale de entrevistas realizadas a directivos de organizaciones y a funcionarios del Estado; y del análisis de normativas y documentos institucionales

No full textBased on interdisciplinary research on the conservative “gender ideology” trend that has appeared in several Latin American countries in the last five years, this article argues that childhood(s) are at the centre of this trend as captive subjects and hostages of a symbolic struggle. The documentary analysis of different judicial, legal, political or educational elements, focused on three specific cases — Brazil, Peru and Mexico —, allows an examination of sexual difference as an unquestionable truth and of the parental hierarchy as the foundation of the generational power struggle.Basado en una investigación interdisciplinaria sobre la tendencia conservadora en torno a la “ideología de género” experimentada por varios países latinoamericanos, este artículo sostiene que las infancias se encuentran en el centro mismo de tal tendencia como sujetos cautivos y rehenes de una lucha simbólica. As a point of departure from the thematic dossier Childhoods in America: diversities in tension, we aim to outline key studies that, from history, anthropology and education, have contributed to this renewed interest in childhoods in the region. In the article, we reconstruct the emerging lines and conclude with proposals for a research agenda for/with/on childhoods in and from Latin America.El estudio de las infancias se ha consolidado en los últimos años en América Latina como un campo de estudios autónomo y emergente. Como apertura al dossier temático Infancias en América: diversidades en tensiónqueremos delinear el panorama de los estudios que, desde la historia, la antropología y la educación, han contribuido a este renovado interés sobre las infancias en la región. “Soñé que iba a correr sangre”. Baguazo, memorias de violencia y recuerdos oníricos entre los awajún de la Amazonia peruana
Get PDFThe Awajún of the Alto Marañón, a region in the northeast of the Peruvian Amazon, were the protagonists of an environmental conflict, known as "Baguazo", in which they clashed with various agents of the Peruvian state (June 2009). They are currently involved in the elaboration of an oral memory of this painful experience: stories that end up bringing together recent events with those of their historical past. The analysis of ethnographic material gathered over a period of almost ten years will allow the observation of how this group is living the current process of re-elaboration of the emotions experienced at that time, which symbolic and descriptive content they choose and how they transmit them.
Los awajún del Alto Marañón, región nororiental de la Amazonía peruana, fueron protagonistas de un conflicto medioambiental, conocido como «Baguazo», en el cual se enfrentaron a distintos agentes del Estado peruano (junio 2009). Actualmente, ellos se encuentran implicados en la elaboración de una memoria oral sobre esta dolorosa experiencia: relatos que terminan reuniendo acontecimientos recientes con los de su pasado histórico. El análisis de un material etnográfico reunido en un arco de tiempo de casi diez años permitirá la observación de cómo este grupo está viviendo el actual proceso de re-elaboración de las emociones vividas en aquel entonces, cuales contenidos simbólicos y descriptivos va eligiendo y cómo las va transmitiendo

Get PDFThis paper describes, from geosemiotics — the study of social meaning in the material location of signs, discourse and actions in the material world —, the documentation of the Chuj and K'anjob’al languages in two border communities of Chiapas (Mexico) for the elaboration of bilingual calendars (2020). Two interaction resources were elicited collaboratively: the sense of time and perceptual spaces. Since both communities are recently created in Mexican territory and have a dispersed location, cultural knowledge and interaction orders have been updated and diversified concerning other communities where these indigenous languages are spoken.Este artículo describe, desde la geosemiótica — el estudio del significado social en la ubicación material de los signos, discurso y acciones en el mundo material —, la documentación de la lengua chuj y k’anjob’al en dos comunidades fronterizas de Chiapas (México) para la elaboración de calendarios bilingües (2020). Se elicitaron, colaborativamente, dos recursos de orden de interacción: sentido del tiempo y espacios perceptivos. Debido a que ambas comunidades son de reciente creación en territorio mexicano y cuentan con una ubicación dispersa, el conocimiento cultural y los órdenes de interacción se han actualizado y diversificado con respecto a otras comunidades donde se hablan estas lenguas indígenas

Get PDFThis study analyses the contact between Spanish and Italian in the Italian linguistic landscape (LL) of Buenos Aires, from the most ancient layers (together with their linguistic innovations) to the most recent ones, resulting from a commodification of the Italian culture and identity. The focus is on the gastronomy and catering sector in Avenida Corrientes, as well as the neighbourhoods of San Telmo, Palermo and Retiro. The paper aims at identifying signs of the migration memory embedded and visible in the LL.En este trabajo analizamos el contacto entre español e italiano en el paisaje lingüístico (PL) italiano de Buenos Aires, desde las capas más antiguas, relativas a los flujos migratorios de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX –con las consiguientes innovaciones lingüísticas–, a los más recientes, procedentes de una mercantilización de lo italiano. Nuestra atención se concentrará en el sector de la restauración, con referencia a un segmento de avenida Corrientes y a los barrios de San Telmo, Palermo y Retiro.
