KEEFEKTIFAN MEDIA KOMIK TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD
This research is motivated by the low reading interest of children who have an impact on learning outcome is low and the need to streamline the reading comprehension to be able easily understand the material being studied. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the medium of comics to the students' reading ability. Based on the analysis of data, the first measurement using the story "Reaching Cita Although almost Despair" of 30 fourth-grade students of SDN 03 Bergaskidul Semarang District 25 students with learning outcome is high enough - and five students with poor outcomes. The average was 73.33. After being treated for the provision of comics, from 30 students of SDN 03 Bergaskidul Semarang regency, retrieved 29 students achieving grades with the criteria fairly high and only one students still have low criteria. The average value rose to 81.33. Percentage increase is 3.878%. The second measurement using the story "Cita-Citaku" of 30 fourth-grade students of SDN 03 Bergaskidul Semarang District, there are 14 students with learning outcome is high enough - and 16 students with poor outcomes. The average was 53.67. After being treated for the provision of comics, from 30 students of SDN 03 Bergaskidul Semarang regency, retrieved 22 students achieving grades with the criteria fairly high and eight students who still have low criteria. The average value rose to 66.67. Percentage increase is 2, 037%.Keywords: effectiveness, media comics, reading comprehension
GEMBIRA BERMAIN MUSIK: PENERAPAN MODEL QUANTUM LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SENI MUSIK DI SEKOLAH DASAR
The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of learning music in elementary school, particularly in promoting a fun learning atmosphere for students. Subjects were students in grade IV SDN Baturetno 1 Wonogiri. This study uses classroom action research, which combines both of quantitative approach and qualitative, to determine the level of students' affective reactions on the application as a quantum learning model. Source of data is collected by the technique of giving questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Test the validity use the technique of source triangulation and methods. Analysis was done by descriptive-comparative. From the findings, it seemed that the application of quantum learning on music class in elementary school, could increase fun learning atmosphere for students. Level affective reactions experienced by students showed 97% of students to the level of pleasure, 3% of students to the level of mediocre, and there is no reaction was not happy. However, the development still needs to be done primarily in the addition to the use of learning media to be combined with quantum models.Keywords: affective reactions, learning music, quantum models
LEARNING TASKS’ WHAT AND HOW: PERSPEKTIF DOSEN DAN MAHASISWA MENGENAI TUGAS PEMBELAJARAN
The ability to design authentic and meaningful learning task is one of thousands preconditions of teachers. Findings shown that elementary school teachers could not be able to design and apply meaningful tasks in and after the teaching time (Rohayati, 2007; Hamzah, 2009; Budimansyah; 2009). PGSD UPI as one of the institutions preparing elementary teachers to be should concern more on this condition. The curriculum designed here should reflect the needs of elementary school teachers to be especially their needs of realizing the goals and objectives that have been established previously by the institution, and how they are reflected through learning tasks in the classroom, especially the classroom for these teachers to be in PGSD Kampus Sumedang. Therefore, the research selects participants from that site, 126 students and 28 lecturers. They were given questionnaires designed in line with three research questions: 1) how do students and lecturers perceive learning tasks? 2) how are students’ and teachers’ roles in collecting the data for learning tasks? 3) has the learning tasks thus far been designed to meet the standardized of authentic tasks? 4) how lecturers and students perceive feedback for their learning tasks? The result shows that the perception of students and lecturers toward learning tasks influence how they behave toward it, hence, if once it has been found misperceived, the construction is need of revisiting.Keywords: learning task, feedback, authentic task, goals, objectives
PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD PADA PEMBELAJARAN MENGIDENTIFIKASI JENIS MAKANAN HEWAN DI SD
Class IV Elementary School students Jatiroke I Jatinangor Sumedang Regency difficulties in completing the learning to identify the type of pet food in learning science. Efforts are being made to overcome this problem is to use cooperative learning model Students Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) through classroom action research. Based on the research results, in cycle 1 has been a significant increase in learning to identify the type of pet food, namely the acquisition value of 18 students who scored in the top 70 increased to 10 students or 55%. PENDEKATAN KOMUNIKATIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA SISWA DI KELAS IV SD
This research aims to improve students' skills in speaking. Researchers apply a communicative approach through Classroom Action Research. Based on the results of research, learning Indonesian with the application of communicative approach showed an increase in the students' speaking skills class IV SDN Jatiroke I both orally and in writing. This increase can be seen from the observation and implementation of corrective actions at each cycle. First cycle which scored above 60 KKM there are 16 students (61.53%) with an average grade 62.30 increase significantly in the second cycle to 25 students (96.15%) with an average grade of 80.Keywords: approach, communicative skills, speaking, elementary school students
MENEMUKAN KEMBALI RUMUS LUAS PERSEGI PANJANG DENGAN KONSTRUKTIVISME (STUDI KASUS PADA MAHASISWA PGSD)
A knowledge is the result from students' self-construction idea, which makes more meaning full of learning process. Sometimes, teachers forget to elicit students’ life experience as their prior knowledge. If this prior knowledge exposed, student will be easily received the new idea, because the students indirectly build their own knowledge. The constructivism point of learning is a teaching and learning process in such a way will make students are mentally active in construct their own knowledge, based on their cognitive structure. It must be considered how the children forming their concept in cognitive structure as the acquisition in geometry concepts. Knowing of the geometry formulas is not a guarantee that the student has thoroughly been learning about the geometry concept. On the other hand, the formula of rectangles’ area is not come instantly, but it can be reformulated by the construction of students’ prior knowledge. I brought them in a specific activity that makes them enjoy and vigorously; students are directed to find a rectangles’ formula.Keywords: constructivism, build knowledge, discovery, and rectangular formula
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE DISCOVERY BERBASIS MEDIA REALITA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATAKULIAH KONSEP DASAR IPA 1
This study aims to determine how much influence the use of media-based discovery method's realities of the learning outcomes during the course Basic Concepts IPA 1 when compared to those taught using direct instruction-based Power Point (PPT). This research is a quantitative type of experiment using a quasi-experimental method (Quasi-Experimental Design). Experimental Design). Design research is the Control Group Pre-test Post-test. Populations of this study were all students of PGSD FKIP UNS second semester of academic year 2013/2014. Cluster Random Sampling is used in sampling. The technique of collecting data through observation, documentation, and testing. The data analysis technique used is the prerequisite test data analysis and hypothesis testing. For prerequisite test, including normality test with chip-square method and homogeneity test methods Bartlett. Based on the analysis of t test showed the t count t table (3.599 2.001), so that H0 is rejected. Thus there is a positive impact on learning outcomes of the course the basic concepts of science one-second semester students are taught using methods of discovery-based media reality. Conclusions This study is the result of learning the basic concepts of science subject 1 student taught by media-based discovery method's realities better than students taught by direct instruction-based power point.Keywords: discovery, media reality, learning outcomes, basic concepts IPA
ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN BAHAN AJAR SEJARAH LOKAL LAMPUNG UNTUK SEKOLAH DASAR
The aims of the research are: a). to describe the necessary analysis hand’s book of Lampung local history for elementary school level, and b). to describe the formulation of a local Lampung history hand’s books that has as a base culture. The methodology of the research that used was Research and development that used to get to result in the hand book model that develops is the hands' book oh historical subject, especially the local history for elementary school level that has as a base Lampung culture. From the result of necessary data analysis from interviewed with teachers and student's questionnaire, it can be described the require of hands book exists: tradition, the art of tradition (include: dance, sculpture, and music), historic place, habit and life philosophy, kinship, legend, The government system (kingdom, sultanate), patriot and heroism, language, local historical event of colonialism, local historical event of independence, local historical event after independence, local historical event of contemporary, and Lampung's historiography in media.Keywords: necessary analysis, hand book of Lampung local history, elementary school, base culture
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TRANSDISCIPLINARY TERHADAP KARAKTER SISWA PADA SEKOLAH DASAR INTERNASIONAL BERBASIS INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE
Development of learning innovations embodied in the learning model into the main needs within the education system in order to shape the character of qualified students. There are many models of learning that can shape the character of students. The learning models which are considered to establish the character among the students are developed based on an international school-based International Baccalaureate (IB) which Trandisciplinary or trans disciplinary learning model. Trans disciplinary model is considered to be most able to form the character of the students because it integrates various disciplines of science to create an understanding of the whole. The method used in this research is a survey research with quantitative research approaches. As for the population in this study are all teachers who exist in the International Primary School-Based IB in Bandung. The results showed that the learning model Trandisciplinary positive and significant impact on the character among the students. MENJADI GURU SD YANG MEMILIKI KOMPETENSI PERSONAL-RELIGIUS MELALUI PROGRAM ONE DAY ONE JUZ (ODOJ)
Teachers are professional educators who are bound by the four competencies (pedagogical, professional, personal, and social. In the study of Islamic education competence is referred to as personal-religious and professional-religious. In an attempt to give birth to a teacher who has a personal competency-religious then one way that can be achieved is through the one Day one Juz (ODOJ). ODOJ is a program of recitations of the Quran one day one juz, so that the activities of recitations through this program will be able to finish Al-Quran at least one a month. This program will provide impact (atsar) for everyone's perpetrators. Including teachers, elementary school teachers are expected to figure there are teachers who have the Qur'anic morality.Keywords: personal-religious, professional-religious, One Day One Juz (ODOJ)
