IDENTIFIKASI KOMPETENSI GURU SEBAGAI CERMINAN PROFESIONALISME TENAGA PENDIDIK DI KABUPATEN SUMEDANG (KAJIAN PADA KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK)
This paper examines one of the main teachers' competence, ie pedagogical competence of teachers who have been certified educators in Sumedang district. This type of research is a survey research with descriptive-quantitative method. The population was 592 certified teachers in the district of North and South Sumedang, with a sample of 60 teachers. Data collected through questionnaire (Likert scale) on the respondent one (R1) is a certified teacher of 60 people, two respondents (R2) are colleagues who have not been certified 60 people, and three respondents (R3) is the principal of 60 people, so total respondents amounted to 180 people. Processing and data analysis was performed using SPSS 16 through frequency analysis and correlation. The results stated that the average pedagogical competence of teachers at the GOOD category, with the acquisition value of 3.02 (75.48%). However, when seen by the results of the correlation answer, where answer between R1 and R2 are many significant / agree, but the answers are not many significant R3 / contrary, it can be concluded that the average pedagogical abilities certified teacher educators in Sumedang district, is in the category ENOUGH based on answers from 150 respondents (84.3%), and is in the category GOOD based on answers from 28 respondents (15.7%). PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS DI SEKOLAH DASAR (ACTION RESEARCH DI KELAS TINGGI SEKOLAH DASAR)
The purpose of this classroom action research was to improve narration writing skills trough contextual approach in the fifth grade elementary schools’ students. The classroom action conducted in two cycles. The subjects were fifth grade elementary schools’ student of SD 04 Karet Setiabudi south Jakarta. Data was collected using observation, and narration writing test. The analizet data was qualitative data, enhanced with narration writing test evaluation, in the context of measuring effect of implemented action to narration writing skills. Result found that application of contextual approach with variety method and relevant complimentary instrument improved narrations writing skills of fifth grade elementary schools’ student.Keywords: writing, contextual approach, elementary school

PENGGUNAAN KARTU KUARTET UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KEBERAGAMAN SENI TRADISI NUSANTARA PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of the learning process subjects Culture Art and Skills in elementary school, especially in understanding of the diversity of Indonesian traditional art. This research was conducted in two stages. First, to develop a media card quartet, and second stage is implementation of the themed quartet card into the learning process in the classroom. Research methods use classroom action research approach because the quartet card media was subsequently used in the learning process in the classroom to improve understanding. Source of data collected by conducting interviews, tests, observations, and documentation. The analysis of the data using Miles and Hubberman’s interactive model, includes the step of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that the use of card-themed quartet can enhance students' understanding of elementary school SDN 01 Jatisawit and SDN Dilem in the diversity of Indonesian traditional art material.Keywords: instructional media, cards quartet, the diversity of traditional arts
PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA SUNDA DI WILAYAH PERBATASAN: DILEMA IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM 2013
Curriculum 2013 provides flexibility to all practitioners of formal education to continue to develop local contentas a form of wealth typical of the region that needs to be maintained and preserved. One of the local content that its existence has importance values is Bahasa Sunda. Teaching Bahasa Sunda in a region where based on a strong Sundanese culture, will not encounter many obstacles. However, in the corners of the area which incidentally is the city/county with very heterogeneous demographi cconditions, of course teaching Bahasa Sunda will be filled with challenges. For example, in areas bordering other culture such Betawi and Java, because of the flexibility of the culture, Sundanese people will be influenced by the Betawior Javanese speech and cultured. This paper is the result of research conducted on the raised border of the city of Bogor, on the implementation of Curriculum 2013, which continued to develop local content Bahasa Sunda to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude typical of Sundanese culture appropriate local wisdom. But on the other hand, collided with a dilemma, where border communitiesis very heterogeneous, so the Sundanese culture and language had not been well maintained. OPTIMALISASI PENERAPAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA “KURIKULUM 2013” MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI 3M DI SEKOLAH DASAR
The purpose of this study is to obtain the learning device (syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheet) integrated character education using 3M strategy (Knowing Moral, Moral Feeling, and Moral Action) on the curriculum in 2013, and look at the effectiveness of the learning device for shaping the character of the participants learners. The study design used was a quasi-experimental control grouph pre test-post test. This research was conducted in SDN 3 Klangenan and SDN 1 Sumber to fourth grade students. The effectiveness of the learning device is made to be seen from the results of student learning, character assessment, student response to learning. Based on these data we can conclude the application of learning curriculum 3M 2013 using effective strategies to improve students' character.Keywords: character education, curriculum 2013, 3M strategy
