    Pengembangan Media MONORAJA (Monopoli Aksara Jawa) untuk Siswa Sekolah Dasar

    The background of this study is based on observations and interviews with class V teachers that students still have difficulty in understanding the letter of Java. Actions that have been done by teachers to overcome these problems have not been maximized, due to the limitations of tools and media. The type of this research is research and development with the developed product that is MONORAJA media (Monopoli Aksara Jawa) on Javanese language subject matter Java letter for elementary school student. The media were tested in 3 primary schools namely SDN Sadeng 01 Gunungpati, SDN 1 Lamuk Purbalingga, and SDN 2 Sinduraja Purbalingga. The results obtained from the validation of material experts, media experts, teacher practitioner questionnaire, and student assessment questionnaire. The result of validation by the first material expert is 97.71%, the second material expert is 98.5%, the validation by the media expert is 95%, the practitioner is 98%, and the student's appraisal is 96.36% This shows that MONORAJA media has been successful in development

    Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas VI SD melalui Model Group Investigation

    The aim of this research is to increasing the students’ motivation and study result IPS in material kenampkan alam dan kenampakan alam negara-negara tetangga fourth grade of elementary school. This research used classroom action research method. The action was doing 2 times on two cycles. Every cycle consist at 3 meeting in class. This cycle consist at 4 steps such as planning, action, monitoring and reflection. The data were collecting in four months, starting from September until December 2016. The subject of this research is seventeen students at fourth grade of SDN 2 Tutup Blora.  This class consist at 4 male and 13 female students. The conclusion of this research reported that Group Investigation teaching model could increased the students’ motivation and study result in fourth grade of SDN 2 Tutup Blora.

    To solve the problem, student have to own creative thinking ability then student can deliver creative solutions. Open-ended approach with M-RTE strategy was one of right alternative which used to improving student creative thinking ability. The research method was using quasi experiment with  nonequivalent control group design. Population of the research were fifth grade elementary school student in North Sumedang subsdriction. Sample of the research were Bendungan 2 Elementary School as experiment class and Sukamulya Elementary School as control class. After learning during four times meeting, both at Bendungan 2 Elementary School and Sukamulya Elementary School that student creative thinking skill have improved. Proved that open-ended approach with M-RTE strategy and conventional approach gave positive effect to mathematical creative thinking ability. But, based on N-gain average value, there’s no difference between positive effect given by open-ended approach with M-RTE strategy and conventional approach.Keywords: open-ended, rte, creative thinking

    PENGARUH PENDEKATAN OPEN-ENDED DAN PENDEKATAN SCIENTIFIC TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIK SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    This study aims to see the influence of open-ended and scientific approach to improving mathematical connection ability of elementary school students. This study is a quasi experimental research, with the design used is "pretest-posttest two treatman design". The population as well as the sample in this research is all the students of grade v of elementary school in SDN 016 Bangkinang Kota. The instrument used in data collection is a mathematical connection test of the description form. The result of the research shows that the learning of mathematics both open-ended and scientific approach have the same effect in improving mathematic connection ability of elementary school students. If reviewed under the category of student ability, high group connection capabilities with a scientific approach are as good as high-group connection capabilities in an open-ended approach. The ability of a moderate group connection with a scientific approach is better than group connection capability is in an open-ended approach. Also in low-group connection capabilities with a scientific approach as well as a low-group connection capability in an open-ended approach. Based on the results of this study, then the learning of mathematics with scientific and open-ended approach can be used as one of the learning that can be applied in an effort to improve the ability of students, especially the ability of mathematical connections of elementary school students.Keywords: open-ended, scientific, mathematical connection ability, elementary students

    Keefektifan Model Predict-Observe-Explain terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep pada Mata Pelajaran IPA

    The background that encourages this research is comprehending the concept of fifth grade students in science subject very low. The objective to be achieved in this research is to know the differences in the ability of comprehending the concept of science in the fifth grade students of SDN 05 Telukwetan Jepara between learning using POE and learning model using conventional method. This research is an experimental research belongs to quantitative method. This research used True Experimental design. The type of the design is taken Posttest-Only Control Design. Based on the results of the research data analysis capabilities using the concept comprehension test two parties, obtained by tcount = 3.5259, and t_table = 2.0154 with a significance level of 5% by dk = n1 + n2 - 2 = 23 +23 - 2 = 44. Based on the results of the analysis, obtained tcount ttable is 3.5259 2.0154 then Ho rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, we can conclude that there are differences in the ability of science to the students' comprehending the concept of learning used POE and learning model using conventional method

    Benefits of mathematics are to equip students with the ability to think logically, analytical, systematically, critically, and creatively, as well as the ability to cooperate. Based on observations in elementary school, there are 40% of students have not reached KKM and students have lack of critical abilities to understand math problems, and they have low activity of the study. One of models that can be applied is Two Stay Two Stray. The study used True Experimental Design with Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this study was all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Semarang Rejosari 03. Data of critical thinking skills of the students in average on test of critical thinking skills mastery was 3.31 ≥ 2.67, it can be said to have a complete description. The conclusion is a model of Two Stay Two Stray being effective for critical thinking skills and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students in SD Negeri Rejosari 03 Semarang.Keywords: two stay two stray model, critical thinking ability

    PENGEMBANGAN VIDEO ANIMASI “BANG DASI” BERBASIS APLIKASI CAMTASIA PADA MATERI BANGUN DATAR KELAS V SEKOLAH DASAR

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility and practicality of an animated video media “Bang Dasi” Camtasia application-based. The experiment was conducted in SDN Sugihmanik 04, District Tanggungharjo, Grobogan. This research development (R D) used ADDIE design (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), which involved five stages of research, those  are the analysis phase, design phase, development phase, implementation phase and evaluation phase. Based on the analysis, the average score obtained from the value of the material and results validation of the media that is 95.1% categorized as very feasible. Meanwhile, the score from media expert is 93.33% and from material expert is 96.86%. Animated video media “Bang Dasi” Camtasia application-based has effectiveness in fostering student interest and getting students’ responses (90.5%). This research conclude that animated video media “Bang Dasi” Camtasia application-based is worth using as learning media. Keywords: development, media, video animation, camtasia, two-dimentional figure

    The formulation to the problem this research is how the learning process, how big increase student learning outcomes in the competence of the village administration system, as well as changes in the behavior of students after using a strategy based human inquiry model of learning resources in the fourth-grade elementary school Keputran 06’s Classroom Action Research. This is done by two cycles. The results from this research that there is a change of behavior of learners towards the positive aspects of cooperation, liveliness, honesty, self-confidence. The average student learning outcomes have increased from the first cycle to cycle 2 at an average of 71.60 with the first cycle of students who achieve minimum completeness criteria.as much as 70% while the average of 87.50 with a second cycle student who achieve 88% minimum completeness criteria. Thus an increase in the thoroughness of the first cycle to the second cycle by 18%.Keywords: learning model constructivism, two dimension media and three dimensions

    This research is conducted to all fifth-grade elementary school students throughout the Subdistrict Conggeang that included higher group. The research result indicates that the realistic mathematics education and conventional approach give different effect to students’ mathematical understanding and problem-solving abilities. The effect to mathematical understanding and problem-solving ability in experiment class is better than the control one. The effect of realistic mathematics education to the higher, middle, and lower achievement students group is different too. Higher group gets a bigger effect than others. There is a positive correlation between mathematical understanding and problem-solving abilities, which its contribution is 95, 9%.Keywords: realistic mathematics education, mathematical understanding ability, mathematical problem solving ability

    The purpose of this study was to reveal and analyze the effect on the quality learning of learning media in an accredited “A” school. The method used in this research is a survey research with quantitative research approach. As for the population in this research is all teachers on the SDN Dr. Cipto Bandung. The results showed that the learning media influence the positive and significant impact on the quality of learning. The description of learning media show good results. So even with a description of the quality of learning has shown good results, as well as the correlation values for the quality of learning to learning media are in a strong position.Keywords: learning media, quality of learning, elementary school
