    PENERAPAN MODEL MIND MAP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KREATIVITAS DAN PEMAHAMAN SISWA PADA MATERI SEJARAH KERAJAAN ISLAM DI INDONESIA

    The result of observation in grade V students at SDN II Galanggang has a low understanding about the history of Islamic Kingdom in Indonesia. The reason among others, because the learning process that takes place more directed at the achievement of material targets, so that the impact on passive student activity and student learning outcomes have not shown minimal achievements that have been determined. Solution to overcome by applying mind-map model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research Method (PTK). The purpose of this research is to improve students' creativity and understanding. The results of this study showed an increase in student creativity in the cycle I 68.8%, 92.88% cycle II, and 95.6% III cycle. Likewise with students' understanding of the cycle I 77.7%, 84.4% II cycle, and 91.1% III cycle. Thus the application of mind map model can improve students' creativity and understanding on the history of Islamic kingdom in Indonesia. Keywords: mind map, creativity, comprehension

    PENINGGALAN SITUS MEGALITIK SEKALA BRAK DAN IMPLIKASINYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH LOKAL DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    The purpose of this study is to 1) describe in depth the megalithic relics of Sekala Brak sites; and 2) to describe the design of local history learning materials based on megaliths relic of Sekala Brak. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Techniques used in data collection are techniques of observation, documentation, and literature study. Analysis of the data presented descriptively, that is to articulate and describe the findings of the data according to the problems studied. The results showed that: 1) The archeological relic found in the megalithic sites of West Lampung consisting of Situs Batu Brak, Batu Jagur, Megalitik Telaga Mukmin, Megalitik Batu Kepapang, Batu Bertulis (Prasasti Hujung Langit), Batu Tameng, Batu Jaya, Batu Bertulis Belalau, Batu Spadu/Batu Putri, Batu Nakka/Batu Tegak, dan Situs Batu Raja; 2) Lampung local history materials that can be implemented in elementary school learning include: a) Customs, b) Traditional arts (dance, rupa / craft, music), c) Historic places, d) Habits and philosophy of life, e) The relationship of kinship, f) folklore, g) The system of government (Kingdom, sultanate, keratuan), h) Heroes and heroism, i) Language, j) of local historical events of the colonial era, k) local historical events independence era, l) local historical events post-independence era, m) local history of contemporary events, and n) Historiography Lampung in the media. Keywords: megalithic Site Sekal Brak, local history learning materials, elementary school

    PEMBELAJARAN MULTIMEDIA IPA DENGAN MODEL CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

    The low learning achievement in science subjects especially about finding alternative energy sources is shown with the average grade grade 62,50 while the value of KKM 75 so that experimental learning through multimedia IPA with CTL model makes learning becomes interesting and meaningful for students. With details of two classes for field test. 24 students as treatment class that is class of VA SDN and 22 students as control class in VB SDN Wiyung 1 Surabaya. This experimental study was conducted to measure the effect before treatment was given (multimedia IPA with CTL) and after being given IPA multimedia treatment with CTL. Sheet of research instrument used in the form of interview sheet and questionnaire of student response to multimedia IPA as well as test sheet to measure learning result. The results show that the post-test average is higher than the average pre-test. Means multimedia with CTL in learning to give effect on the results of learning IPA magnitude increase occurred based on the calculation is 12.25%.Keywords: contextual teaching learning, multimedia,  science education

    The reading program is another name for reading literature used by SDN Bugangan 02Semarang. Implementation of the program likes to read that is 15 minutes before the learning activities of students reading books with the title as he wishes. In this study students are given a book entitled "a collection of children's stories about the habit of eating healthy food". This short story contains six titles of children with a theme of healthy food. This theme is in accordance with the 9th grade theme teacher's book. This study aims to determine the effect of reading programs on the ability to make students. This research uses Pre-Experiment Designs with quantitative approach. The sample of this research is all students of grade IV SDN Bugangan 02 Semarang. The results of this study indicate that reading programs affect students' writing ability

    Teacher is one of the important keys in implementing education process. A teacher must fulfil his functions and obligations as an educator. The main task for teachers is conducting a learning process in schools. This research focuses on analyzing PPL students’s competence of UPI Sumedang class of 2012 in conducting a teaching learning process in schools. The teaching learning process consists of making teaching and learning plan and also implementing teaching and learning activities in the class. Qualitative approach which is a descriptive analysis was applied in this research. The result of the research shows that (1) in preparing teaching learning process, in general, the students achieved the competence to make teaching and learning plan by having mean score 3,5; (2) in conducting teaching and learning activities in the class, the students also achieved the mean score 3,5. Both scores proved that the students can prepare and conduct the teaching learning process relatively well.Keywords: teacher, PPL, lesson plan, teaching learning process

    This research is about the influence of application of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative model in elementary school to decision-making skill. The research method is quasi experiment with non randomized pretest-posttes control group design. The population of all grade III elementary school in Maja subdistrict and its sampling sampling in this research is student of class III SDN Cieurih I and SDN Kertabasuki II. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of TGT model on student decision-making skills in class III elementary school. The result of this research can be concluded that there is a difference of decision-making skills improvement between experimental and control group, besides cooperative learning of TGT is better than conventional learning in improving student decision-making skills in elementary school social study learning and there is difference of improvement of decision making skill among student group higher, middle and lower achiever using TGT model and conventional learning.     MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA MELALUI METODE INQUIRY PADA SISWA KELAS V SD

    The aim of this research is to describe inquiry method steps on improving the science study result of 5th graders in SD Negeri 1 Bawen that is located in Bawen, Central Java. The students are in 2nd semester, academic year 2016/2017. The subjects of this research are 24 students who are 5th grader in SD Negeri 1 Bawen. This research is a class action research through two cycles. The study method used is inquiry method. The data collection techniques are both test and non test. Descriptive comparative analysis is used in analyzing the data. The result of this research shows that inquiry study method can improve the science study result of the 5th grader in SD Negeri 1 Bawen, from cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This is supported by data that have been analyzed, from the condition in the beginning, 1st cycle, and 2nd cycle. In conclusion, inquiry method can improve the science study result of 5th graders in SD Negeri 1 Bawen.Keywords: study result, science, inquiry method

    ANALISIS ASPEK LITERASI SAINS PADA BUKU TEKS PELAJARAN IPA KELAS V SD

    The ability of scientific literacy important to have learners in understanding the environment, economy and problems in modern society. One effort to improve science literacy through the analysis of textbooks. This research analyzes aspects of scientific literacy in the fifth grade elementary science textbooks. Aspects of scientific literacy are analyzed include science as a way of thinking and the interaction of science, technology society. This type of research is descriptive, to collect data in the form of documentation. One book as a whole has been analyzed and generate different presentation of scientific literacy, namely:  5.8% (aspects of science as a way of thinking) and 1.2% (aspects of the interaction of science, technology and society). The second aspect is still slightly presented in each chapter. Even aspects of the interaction of science, technology and society only appears in Chapter 7 (7.4%) and Chapter 4 (0.5%). The following findings indicate that this book does not emphasize material support on the acquisition process and context.Keywords: science literacy; way of thinking; the interaction of science, technology and society; analysis of textbooks

    Folklore is one of the literary works that can specifically be used as teaching materials and help students to recognize local wisdom. In addition, folklore also serves as a medium of learning and entertainment and fostering emotional intelligence in students. Local wisdom owned by each region certainly has positive values for the development and character of children and can foster a love of regional culture. Folklore can also introduce the culture of the archipelago to students and can also take advice from the folklore as one of character education. This article seeks to provide ideas on the development of local wisdom in this folktale to be used as a source of literary learning materials so that folklore can be an alternative source of teaching materials by teachers during the learning process.Keywords: literacy learning, local wisdom, folklore

    Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran IPA Berorientasi pada Taxonomy for Science Education di Sekolah Dasar

    The learning method has been focused on student cognitive. In the mean time, student should accept comprehensively. This research is aim to develop learning kits of natural science that taxonomy for science education oriented in elementary school. The kits consist of domain I (imagine and understanding), domain II (science process skills), domain III (imagine and creativity), domain IV (attitude and value), and domain V (conection and applying). This is a research and development method, with subjects were both of fourth grade elementary school students of SD negeri 20 Mambok and SD Negeri 5 Sintang. The results of evaluation of learning science experts to examine the validity of the learning kits stated valid. Then, the trial results showed that the learning kits was developed to meet the criteria of effective to use in elementary school. It concludes that the learning kits of natural science that taxonomy for science education oriented is able to applied in elementary school
