PENGGUNAAN MODEL TGT DENGAN MEDIA ULAR TANGGA TERHADAP PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR
This experiment aimed to know the effect of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model with snakes and ladders media based on students biology learning result for the subject matter of organization of life. The design of this research was pretest-posttest non equivalent. This research was done at VII SMP Negeri 1 Way Krui, students of VII.A and VII.B were samples which were taken by purposive sampling technique. This research used qualitative and quantitative data. The quantitative data was obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain were analyzed by t-test and u-test. The qualitative data was the observation sheet of learning activities and responses that analyzed descriptively. The results showed that TGT model with snakes and ladders can improve students biology learning result. It was shown by the experimental class average value of learning result 66,14 was higher then control class learning result 59,77.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dengan media ular tangga terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa dalam materi pokok organisasi kehidupan. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Way Krui, siswa kelas VII.A dan VII.B sebagai sampel dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis dengan uji-t dan uji-u. Data kualitatif berupa data aktivitas belajar siswa dan tanggapan yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TGT dengan media ular tangga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen 66,14 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol 59,77.Kata kunci : hasil belajar, media ular tangga, model TGT, organisasi kehidupa
IMPLEMENTASI MODEL GROUP INVESTIGATION TERHADAP KECAKAPAN SOSIAL DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA
This study was action research in Serdang Bedagai which used 135 students as subjects. The techniques sampling data were cluster sampling. The result data were obtained using tests as well as evaluating the ability of students' skills using a questionnaire. The research hypothesis was tested using Anova and Tukey test. These results indicated that (1) there was significant influence of the learning outcomes of students that were taught by cooperative learning model GI with conventional learning, (2) learning outcomes of students which learning by model GI was better than the learning conventional model. Students' social skills were also better. The results of students response based on four indicators, there were cooperating among the students in the group, responsibility fellow students, expressing opinions in the form of oral and written, as well as the interaction and tolerance. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai dengan jumlah 135 orang siswa. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik cluster sampling. Data hasil tes belajar biologi diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes, serta penilaian kemampuan kecakapan siswa menggunakan angket. Hipotesis penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan Anova dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil ini menunjukkan (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe GI dengan pembelajaran konvensional, (2) Hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran GI lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Kecakapan sosial siswa juga lebih baik. Hal ini terlihat dari respon siswa berdasarkan keempat indikatornya yaitu: bekerjasama sesama siswa dalam kelompok, tanggung jawab sesama siswa, mengemukakan pendapat dalam bentuk lisan dan tulisan, serta interaksi dan toleransi.Kata kunci: group investigation, hasil belajar, kecakapan sosial, pembelajaran kooperati
KREATIVITAS SISWA PADA MATERI DAUR ULANG LIMBAH MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PjBL
The purpose of this research was to investigate the students creativity in using PjBL model. The research used type one-shot case study design. The sample of this research were X2 grade students of SMAN 1 Gunung Alip. They were chose using purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data were obtained from rubric assessment, that were: students creativity, students product, and scoring questionnaire about other product and students comment about PjBL model. The result showed that most of the students creativity categorized as creative (65%) in planning including the aspect of making plan, interdicipline of knowledge and concept application, exploration and developing ideas of product designing, choosing the right materials, and using tools. Most of product was categorized as quite creative (45,58%) including the new aspects, unique, useful, correct, economic value and heuristic. So, PjBL model could improve the students creativity categorized as creative and quite creative product.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kreativitas siswa menggunakan model PjBL. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah tipe one-shot case study. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X2 SMAN 1 Gunung Alip, dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui rubrik penilaian: kreativitas siswa, produk siswa, angket penilaian siswa terhadap produk lainnya dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap model PjBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata kreativitas siswa berkriteria kreatif (65%) dalam perencanaan meliputi aspek membuat perencanaan, interdisiplin ilmu dan aplikasi konsep, eksplorasi dan mengembangkan gagasan mendesain produk, memilih bahan yang tepat dan menggunakan alat. Rata-rata produk berkriteria cukup kreatif (45,58%) meliputi aspek baru, unik, berguna, benar, nilai ekonomi produk, dan heuristik. Dengan demikian, PjBL dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa yaitu berkriteria kreatif dan produk yang cukup kreatif.Kata kunci: daur ulang limbah, kreativitas , PjB
PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM POSING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF DAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA
The aim of this research was to figure out the effect of Problem Posing toward creative thinking skill and students learning activity. The design of the research was pretest and posttest non-equivalent. The samples were X1 and X2 grader of Senior High School 16 Bandar Lampung. They were selected by purposive sampling method. The data of creative thinking skill were obtained by the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain . They were analyzed by U-test and t-test. The qualitative data of creative thinking skill and students learning activity were analyzed descriptively. The result showed that creative thinking skill was a medium criteria (68.30%) and the highest score was gained by expresing many ideas in solving problems aspect. The improvement of students learning activity was a high criteria (75,00%) and highest score in this criteria was to find information in problems solving aspect. In conclusion Problem Posing improved the creative thinking skill and learning activity.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-postest kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X1 dan X2 SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data KBK diperoleh dari nilai pretest, postest, dan N-gain yang dianalisis dengan uji t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa KBK dan aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif berkriteria sedang (68,30%) dalam mencetuskan banyak gagasan untuk melakukan pemecahan masalah. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa berkriteria tinggi (75,00%) dalam mencari informasi untuk memecahkan masalah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa problem posing meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan akivitas belajar.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar siswa, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, Problem Posin
IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERDASARKAN KURIKULUM 2013 PADA KELAS V SDN 1 PENGAJARAN
This research aimed to describe the implementation of curriculum 2013 on science learning in fifth grade in SDN 1 Pengajaran Bandar Lampung academic year 2014/2015 based on standard of process, scientific approach, and integrated thematic. Research samples were teachers who teach in fifth grade selected by purposive sampling. The type of data was qualitative data which is description of learning implementation in classroom by teacher. The results showed that the implementation of curriculum 2013 at the fifth grade learning activities have suitability to standard process with average score is 76.5% and categorized as "high", the average score of suitability to scientific approach is 83.35% and categorized as "high" and the average score of suitability to integrated thematic is 83.35% and categorized as "high". Thus the results of the research showed that implementation of science learning based on curriculum 2013 that implemented by teachers in SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung has high criteria.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran IPA kelas V di SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2014/2015 sesuai dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik, dan tematik integratif. Sampel penelitian adalah guru kelas yang mengajar di kelas V yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif berupa deskripsi pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru. Hasil penelitian menujukkan implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada kegiatan pembelajaran kelas V memiliki kesesuaian standar proses dengan presentase skor rata-rata 76,5% berkriteria tinggi, kesesuaian pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase skor rata-rata 83,35% berkriteria tinggi dan kesesuaian pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan persentase skor rata-rata 83,35% berkriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian menujukkan implementasi pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 yang dilaksanakan oleh guru-guru kelas V pada SDN 1 Pengajaran, Bandar Lampung memiliki kriteria tinggi.Kata kunci : kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, pendekatan saintifik, standar proses, tematik terpad
PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN LKS BERBASIS INKUIRI TERBIMBING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS SISWA
This study aimed to determine the effect of Student Work Sheet based on Guided Inquiry of students Science Process Skill. Study design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent group. Samples were VII3 and VII4 SMPN 1 Pagelaran which were chosen by Purposive Sampling. Quantitative data which obtained from the average value of test were analyzed by t-test and U-test. The qualitative data was observation of Science Process Skill and questionnaire responses that analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the average value of N-gain (69,99) in experiment class was higher than control class (46,69), significantly. Observation result of Science Process Skill has high criteria (79,16%), and most of the students gave positive respond to Student Work Sheet based on Guided Inquiry. Therefore, using Student Work Sheet based on Guided Inquiry could increase Science Process Skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa. Desain penelitian pretes-postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian kelas VII3 dan VII4 SMPN 1 Pagelaran, dipilih secara Purposive Sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata tes yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa data observasi KPS dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (69,99) berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol (49,69). Hasil rata-rata persentase observasi KPS memiliki kriteria tinggi (79,16%) dan sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan LKS berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing. Dengan demikian penggunaan LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains.Kata kunci : interaksi antar makhluk hidup, keterampilan proses sains, LKS berbasis inkuiri terbimbin
KAJIAN IMPLEMENTASI PEMBELAJARAN IPA BERDASARKAN KURIKULUM 2013 KELAS IV SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI
This study described the result of science learning implementation assessment, that is based on 2013 curriculum. Samples of study was teacher who teaches 4thgrade that chosen by purposive sampling. Data has gotten from learning activity observation list that was compares with proccessing standard, sciencetific approach, and tematic integration. The result showed that implementation of 4th grade learning activity had suitability with proccessing standard the average was 68,03% at medium category. suitablewith the sciencetific approach average was 71,5% at high category and tematic integration, average was 68,75% athigh category. Therefore science learning implementation based on 2013 curriculumin Enggal district was medium category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran IPA kurikulum 2013. Sampel penelitian adalah guru kelas yang mengajar kelas IV yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif berupa deskripsi proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru dibandingkan dengan standar proses, pendekatan saintifik dan tematik integratif. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa implementasi kurikulum 2013 pada kegiatan pembelajaran kelas IV memilikikesesuaian dengan standar proses dengan presentase skor rata-rata 68,03% berkategori sedang,sesuai dengan pendekatan saintifik dengan persentase skor rata-rata 71,5% berkategori tinggi dan telah sesuai dengan pembelajaran tematik integratifdengan persentase skor rata-rata 68,75% berkategori tinggi. Dari semua data yang didapatkan maka dapat disimpulkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 di SD kecamatan Enggal berkategori Sedang.Kata kunci : kurikulum 2013, pembelajaran IPA, pendekatan saintifik, standar proses,tematik integrati
PERBANDINGAN MODEL CPS DENGAN MEA TERHADAP SIKAP DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA
This study aimed to compare the use of Creative Problem Solving models with Means Ends Analysis in improving the scientific attitude and cognitive learning outcomes of students. The study design was a pretest posttest group design were non equivalent. The Samples were students of class XI IPA1and XI IPA2selected by purposive sampling. Qualitative data is a percentage of the scientific attitude of students that analyzed descriptively. Quantitative data were obtained from the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain statistically analyzed using t-test and U test. The results showed that the CPS and MEA models can improved the scientific attitude of students with average scientific attitude that had good criteria, the CPS class was 84.90%, and the MEA class was 82.38%. There were significant differences learning outcomes of student in CPS class and MEA class, MEA class (53.00) was higher than CPS class (46.26).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan penggunaan model CPS dengan MEA dalam meningkatkan sikap ilmiah dan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa. Desain penelitian adalah desain pretes postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA1dan XI IPA2 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kualitatif berupa persentase sikap ilmiah siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Hasil menunjukan bahwa model CPS dan MEA dapat meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa dengan rata-rata sikap ilmiah sama-sama memiliki kriteria baik, pada kelas CPS adalah 84,90%, dan pada kelas MEA adalah 82,38%. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas CPS dan kelas MEA, kelas MEA (53,00) lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas CPS (46,26).Kata kunci : hasil belajar, model CPS, model MEA, sikap ilmiah, sistem imunita
PENGARUH PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR KULIT BUAH PISANG KEPOK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN SAWI
The objective of this research was to know the influence of organic fertilizer concentration from the wastes of kepok banana peels on the growth of mustard greens. The results of the study used as a source on the preparation of students worksheets. In this experiment, there are four treatments and six repetitions. Fertilizer concentration used were: 0, 20, 40, 60 mls/plant/application. Data were variety analyzed and BNT tested on the level of 5 %. The results of this research showed that liquid organic fertilizer of kepok banana peels influence very real on the growth of a mustard greens plant, which included the height of plant, number of leaves, and width of mustard greens leaves. The concentration of fertilizer that gives best result was the liquid organic fertilizer from kepok banana peels 20 ml. The average value of student worksheets feasibility on XII class students of SMA was 3.46. Therefore the student worksheets were declared very reasonable used as a source of learning.Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair kulit buah pisang kepok terhadap pertumbuhan sawi. Hasil penelitian digunakan sebagai sumber materi penyusunan Lembar Kerja Siswa. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat empat perlakuan dan enam pengulangan. Kosentrasi pupuk yang digunakan: 0, 20, 40, 60 ml/ tanaman/ aplikasi. Data dianalisis ragam dan diuji BNT pada taraf 5%.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair limbah kulit buah pisang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman sawi yang meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun serta luas daun sawi. Kosentrasi pupuk yang memberikan hasil paling baik yaitu pada kosentrasi pupuk organik cair dari kulit buah pisang kepok 20 ml. Nilai rerata uji kelayakan LKS bagi siswa kelas XII SMA adalah 3.46 dengan demikian LKS dinyatakan sangat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar.Kata kunci: kulit pisang, LKS, pertumbuhan tanaman sawi, pupuk organi
PENGARUH JOYFUL LEARNING MELALUI PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS
The aims of this research was to figure out the effect of using JFL through PBL on Science Process Skill. The design was pretest-posttest non-equivalent group. The samples were X MIA3 and X MIA5 SHS 1 Gadingrejo, chosen by purposive sampling. The quantitative data were obtained from the average score of the test analyzed by t-test and U-test. The qualitative data were Science Process Skill data obtained from the observation sheet and the students questionnaire responses which were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that JFL through PBL could increased the studentss science process skill. It could be seen from the average of N-gain (62.06) in the experiment class which was higher and different significantly than control class (49.99). The result of the average percentage of Science Process Skill observation had a high criteria (79.79%) and most of the students (98%) responded positively to the use JFL through PBL.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan JFL melalui PBL terhadap KPS. Desain penelitian pretest-postest kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas X MIA3 dan X MIA5 SMA N 1 Gadingrejo dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata tes yang dianalisis dengan uji-t dan uji-U. Data kualitatif berupa data KPS yang diperoleh dari lembar observasi dan angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan JFL melalui PBL dapat meningkatkan KPS siswa. Terlihat pada rata-rata N-gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (62,06) berbeda signifikan dengan kontrol (49,99). Hasil rata-rata persentase observasi KPS memiliki kriteria tinggi (79,79%) dan sebagian besar siswa (98%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan JFL melalui PBL.Kata kunci : joyful learning, KPS, PBL, perubahan lingkunga
