Analysis of Implementation Outdoor learning in High School based on Type of School
This study was aim to know the implementation of outdoor learning at high school level in terms of type of school. This research was a survey research with qualitative descriptive approach. The research was conducted in three types of high schools, namely public schools, adiwiyata schools and integrated Islamic schools based on boarding school. Type of School includes; SMA A as public school, SMA B as adiwiyata school and SMA C as an integrated Islamic school based on boarding school. The sample was obtained by purposive sampling technique consisting of X class biology teacher, class XI and class XII in each school. The research instrument uses an observation note sheet and an interview guide. Analysis of observation and interview data using descriptive qualitative analysis. Documentation data is analyzed using learning tools such as Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheet (LKS) used by teachers. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The three types of SMA have been implementing outdoor learning (2) Each type of school has the potential to be the object of outdoor learning (3) There are obstacles in the allocation of time in SMA A, the lack of inventory of biology outdoor learning tools in SMA B and no obstacles in SMA C to date (4) SMA B is the most potential school in implementing learning of biology based on outdoor learning.Keywords: Outdoor learning, High schooll, Type of schoo
Pengaruh Berbagai Konsentrasi Ekstrak Bunga Belimbing Wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi) Terhadap Zona Hambat Pertumbuhan Streptococcus pyogenes
Streptococcus pyogenes can cause pharyngitis (sore throat) and impetigo (skin infection). Then, the purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of various concentrations of Averrhoa bilimbi in the formation of inhibitory zones of the growth of Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria. The population in this study was the whole of Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria, and the sample of this study was pure culture of Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria. The data analysis techniques used were the Kruskal Wallis Test and the Mann Whitney Test. The results showed that there was an effect of giving various concentrations of Averrhoa bilimbi to the inhibition zones of the growth of Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria. The concentration of Averrhoa bilimbi which has the best effect on the inhibitory zone diameter of Streptococcus pyogenes bacteria which is 25% with an average inhibition zone diameter of 1,392 mm. Streptococcus pyogenes dapat menyebabkan penyakit faringitis (radang tenggorokan) dan impetigo (infeksi permukaan kulit). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak bunga belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi) terhadap zona hambat pertumbuhan bakteri Streptococcus pyogenes. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu keseluruhan bakteri Streptococcus pyogenes, dan sampel penelitian ini yaitu biakan murni bakteri Streptococcus pyogenes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Kruskal Wallis dan Uji Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian berbagai konsentrasi ekstrak bunga belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi) terhadap zona hambat pertumbuhan bakteri Streptococcus pyogenes. Konsentrasi ekstrak bunga belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi) yang memiliki pengaruh terbaik terhadap diameter zona hambat bakteri Streptococcus pyogenes adalah 25% dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambat 1,392 mm. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Life Skill Terhadap Keterampilan Generik Biologi Ditinjau Dari Self Regulation
The low level of generic skills in biological science of students is due to the learning process that has not developed these abilities. This research is quantitative research with 2x3 factorial design. The sample was chosen by class random technique. Data collection techniques with tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study are as follows: Based on the results of two different cell road test results conclusions were obtained, namely: (1) There is the influence of life skill learning models on generic skills in biological science of 10,05 (2) There is the effect of self regulation on generic science skills biology amounting to 207,3 (3) There is an interaction between the treatment of learning with self regulation of students on the generic skills of biological science by 3,802. Rendahnya keterampilan generik sains biologi peserta didik dikarenakan proses pembelajaran yang belum mengembangkan kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain faktorial 2x3. Sampel dipilih dengan teknik acak kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Berdasarkan hasil uji analisis dua jalan sel tak sama diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu: (1) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran life skill terhadap keterampilan generik sains biologi sebesar 10,05 (2) Terdapat pengaruh self regulation terhadap keterampilan generik sains biologi sebesar 207,3 (3) Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan pembelajaran dengan self regulation peserta didik terhadap keterampilan generik sains biologi sebesar 3,802. Penggunaan Discovery Learning dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Kolaborasi dan Berpikir Tingkat Tinggi
This research aims were to explore information about the use of discovery learning model in improving students’s collaboration and high order thinking skills (HOTS). The design used was a quasi experiment with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample of this study were students of Junior High School 22 Bandar Lampung VIIA as control class and VIIB as experimental class taken used purposive sampling technique. Collaborative skill was obtained from collaboration observation sheet and high order thinking skill obtained from pretest-posttest scores. The results showed that the use of discovery learning could improve student collaboration skills with the collaboration score of experimental group categorized good and discovery learning model also significantly improved student's high order thinking skills with N-gain of experimental group's that was higher than control group. So it can be concluded that the used of discovery learning influenced the improvement of collaboration skills and significantly increased in high order thinking skills of students. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali informasi tentang penggunaan model discovery learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimental semu dengan desain pretes-postes kelompok non-ekuivalen. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung kelas VIIA sebagai kelas kontrol dan VIIF sebagai kelas eksperimen diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. keterampilan kolaborasi diperoleh dari lembar observasi dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik diperoleh dari nilai pretes-postes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik dengan kriteria baik dan model discovery learning juga meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik secara signifikan dengan N-gain kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kontrol. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi dan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didikKata kunci: discovery learning, HOTS, keterampilan kolaboras
Hambatan Pendidik IPA Kelas VII dalam Mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013-Revisi
This study aims to describe the barriers of class VII science educators in implementing the K13-revision in the Bandar Lampung Municipality. The sample of this study were all VII grade science educators who applied K13-revision learning. Sampling technique was that purposive sampling. Data were obtained from was questionnaires and interviews that were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the implementation revised K13 in the 2016/2017 school year in of Bandar Lampung little experiecing obstacles, there were three aspects form four which according to science teacher, that were: (1) information about the revised 2013 curriculum; (2) learning texts; and (3) the learning process with a percentage range of 25%-50%. Aspects that show of obstacles to the process and implementation of the assessment had 63% of aspects in the category of "obstacle".Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan hambatan pendidik IPA kelas VII dalam mengimplementasikan K13-revisi se-Kotamadya Bandar Lampung.Sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh pendidik IPA kelas VII yang menerapkan pembelajaran K13-revisi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Desain pada penelitian ini adalah desain penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan K13-revisi di tahun ajaran 2016/2017 di Kotamadya Bandar Lampung terdapat tiga aspek yang menurut pendidik IPA “sedikit mengalami hambatan”, yaitu: aspek (1) informasi mengenai kurikulum 2013 revisi; (2) teks pembelajaran; dan (3) proses pembelajaran dengan rentang persentase yaitu 25%-50%. Aspek yang menunjukkan hambatan pada proses dan pelaksanaan penilaian memiliki persentase sebesar 63% aspek tersebut masuk dalam kategori “menghambat”. Pengaruh Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantu Jurnal Belajar Terhadap Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif
This study aims to determine the effect of guided inquiry learning models aided with learning journal on activities and cognitive learning outcomes students of class X SMAN 2 Tulang Bawang Tengah in "Ecosystem" materials. The study samples were 64 students of class X that were selected bytotal sampling technique. The research instrument used pretest-posttest question and observation sheet of student learning activities. The design used was nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data onactivities were analyzed descriptively, while pretest-posttest and n-Gain values were analyzed by Independent Sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the average percentage activity was 76.2 with good criteria with N-Gain average that was 0.59 with medium criteria. Thus the application of the guided inquiry learning model aided with learning journal has a significant effect on the activities and cognitive learning outcomes of students in "Ecosystem” materials. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model inkuiri terbimbing berbantu jurnal belajar terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Tulang Bawang Tengah pada materi“Ekosistem”. Sampel penelitian adalah 64peserta didik kelas X dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan soal pretest-posttest dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik. Desain yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data aktivitas dianalisis secara deskriptif, sedangkan nilai pretest-posttest dan n-Gain dianalisis dengan uji Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase rata-rata aktivitas keseluruhan sebesar 76,2 termasuk kriteria baik dengan rata-rata n-Gain sebesar 0,59 termasuk kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian penerapan model inkuiri terbimbing berbantu jurnal belajar berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas belajar peserta didik dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi “Ekosistem”.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, ekosistem, hasil belajar kognitif, inkuiri terbimbing, jurnal belaja
Pengembangan Modul Berbasis Riset Anatomi Batang Nibung Pada Mata Kuliah Anatomi Tumbuhan
Nibung (Oncosperma tigillarium (Jack) Ridl.) is an identity plant of Riau Province which is used as the mascot of the province's flora. The study used the presentation technique to analyze the student’s answers to the modules developed, then grouped according to the criteria. The results based on the anatomical characterization of the nibung stem. The nibung stem has been observed which has anatomical structure of: epidermis, mesophyll layer which is dominated by xylem and phloem vascular bundles, and vascular tissue. This plant stem has a strong texture, sturdy and termite resistant, within dominated fiber in the central. The results of further research were developed in development research for module-based teaching materials in the Plant Anatomy course. The validation results show that the modules developed are included in the very valid category with a percentage of 87.25%. Modules developed are appropriate for learning process. Nibung (Oncosperma tigillarium (Jack) Ridl.) adalah tumbuhan identitas Provinsi Riau yang dijadikan sebagai maskot flora provinsi ini. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis jawaban mahasiswa terhadap modul yang dikembangkan adalah dengan teknik persentase, selanjutnya dikelompokkan sesuai kriterianya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian karakterisasi anatomi batang tumbuhan nibung, telah diamati anatomi batang nibung yang mempunyai struktur anatomi yang terdiri dari: epidermis, lapisan mesofil yang didominasi oleh jaringan derivat ikatan pembuluh xilem dan floem, dan jaringan pembuluh. Batang tumbuhan ini mempunyai tekstur yang kuat, kokoh dan tahan rayap, dengan bagian tengah yang didominasi oleh jaringan serat (fiber). Hasil penelitian selanjutnya dikembangkan dalam penelitian pengembangan untuk bahan ajar berbasis modul pada matakuliah Anatomi Tumbuhan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan termasuk kedalam kategori sangat valid dengan persentase sebesar 87,25%. Pengaruh Program Adiwiyata Terhadap Pengetahuan Lingkungan dan Sikap Peduli Lingkungan
This research was conducted to find out the effect of Adiwiyata program and the environmental care attitude. Research design was ex post facto. Sampling technique was purposive sampling, there were 108 students taken as samples from 20 % population. Research data were obtained from test and questionnaire, analyzed by using Independent sample t-Test. Result of the research showed that environmental knowledge value in Adiwiyata was and non Adiwiyata school was . Environmental care attitude in Adiwiyata school was 85 4,9 and non Adiwiyata school was 81 6,8. The results showed that there was an effect of Adiwiyata program on environmental knowledge proven by the value (p=0,000 ≤ 0,05). The environmental care attitude was affected by Adiwiyata program proven by the value (p=0,003 ≤ 0,05). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh program Adiwiyata terhadap pengetahuan lingkungan dan sikap peduli lingkungan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain ex post facto. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling bertujuan khusus (purposive sampling) , sampel berjumlah 108 siswa yang diambil dari 20 % jumlah populasi. Data penelitian diperoleh dari soal tes dan kuisioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent sampel t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai pengetahuan lingkungan pada sekolah program Adiwiyata sebesar dan untuk sekolah non program Adiwiyata. Sikap peduli lingkungan pada sekolah program Adiwiyata sebesar 85 4,9 dan 81 6,8 untuk sekolah non program Adiwiyata. Hasil uji hipotesis terdapat pengaruh program Adiwiyata terhadap pengetahuan lingkungan dibuktikan dengan nilai (p=0,000 ≤ 0,05). Sikap peduli lingkungan terdapat pengaruh oleh program Adiwiyata dibuktikan dengan nilai (p=0,003 ≤ 0,05).Kata kunci: Adiwiyata, pengetahuan lingkungan, sikap peduli lingkunga
Pengaruh Project Based Learning Terhadap Self-efficacy Dan Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif
This study aims to determine the positive effect of the PjBL model toward self-efficacy and creative thinking skills. The study samples were students of class VII.F and VII.H SMP N 26 Bandar Lampung which were taken by cluster random sampling technique. This design was a quasi-experimental with pretest posttest non equivalent. The instruments used in this study were self-efficacy scale, creative thinking skills tests, and product assessment sheets. The data was analyzed with the independent sample t-test (5%). The results showed that the PjBL model had an effect toward self-efficacy (“high” categories). The PjBL model also had a significant effect toward creative thinking skills (significance value of 0,000). “High” categories of creative thinking skills based on product assessment sheets. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh model PJBL terhadap self-efficacy dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Sampel penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII.F dan VII.H SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest postes non equivalent. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self-efficacy, tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif, dan lembar penilaian produk. Analisis data dengan uji independent sample t-test pada taraf nyata 5 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PJBL berpengaruh terhadap self-efficacy dengan kategori self-efficacy “tinggi”. Model PJBL berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif berkategori “tinggi” berdasarkan penilaian produk.Kata kunci: keterampilan berpikir kreatif, project based learning, self-efficacy
Pengaruh Model Discovery Learninng Terhadap Kemampuan Literasi Sains Peserta Didik
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Discovery Learning Models On Students Science Literacy skills on VII grade students of SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung in "Ecosystems” topic. The samples were students of class VII A and VII C which were selected from the population by random cluster sampling technique. The study used pretest-posttest questions and student response sheets. The design used was nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data were analyzed by the Independent Sample t-Test using the SPSS 17.0 program. The results of students' responses on Discovery learning model had a significant effect on scientific literacy skills with a significance value of 0.00 (p <0.05). The results of the students' responses on ecosystem learning with the Discovery Learning model have an average percentage 81,9 %. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan Literasi Sains peserta didik kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung pada pembelajaran IPA Biologi materi “Ekosistem”. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII A dan VII C yang dipilih dari populasi dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain yang digunakan yaitu non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji Independent Sample t-Test menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 17.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan literasi sains dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 (p < 0,05). Hasil analisis tanggapan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran ekosistem dengan model discovery learning memiliki persentase rata-rata 81,9 %.Kata Kunci : discovery learning, ekosistem, kemampuan literasi sains
