Analysis of Crime Figures in Indonesia due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and Efforts to Overcome It
Get PDFCrime in Indonesia has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic, Which is increasingly unsettling for the Indonesian people. The crime rate in Indonesia continues to increase, influenced by various factors, one of which is the Covid-19 pandemic which has changer various factors, one of which is the COVID-19 pandemc which has changed various structures and structures of life. This research examines the analusis of the increasing crime rate in Indonesia due to COVID-19 pandemic and efforts to overcome it. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of crime in Indonesia which is motivated by the Covid-19 pandemic and efforts to overcome it. In the perspective of legal sociology, the current state of affairs can be said that every society has a type of crime and a criminal in accordance with its social and economic conditions. The research method used is literature study which is excavated from books, journals, and articles. Internalization of Civic Disposition Value through the Adiwiyata Program
Get PDFThe problem in this study is that the value of the character of caring for the environment that is owned by students. The purpose of this study was to find out how the internalization of civic disposition values regarding environmental care in the Adiwiyata Program at SMPN I Penawangan, Grobogan Regency.This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The place of the research was at SMPN I Penawangan, Grobogan Regency. from April-June 2020. The subjects of the study were the VII grade Citizenship Education teachers. The informants of this research were the principal, the coordinator of the Adiwiyata program and the seventh grade students. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Checking the validity of the data by using triangulation techniques of sources and methods. The collected data is then analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the data and conclusions indicate that the process of internalizing the value of civic disposition regarding environmental care in Civic Education learning is through three stages, the first stage is value transformation, value transaction and transinternalization. At the value transformation stage, what the teacher does is ask students to read cooperative materials in various environments. Then the teacher explains the content and content of the material. The transaction stage of the teacher's value divides students into several discussion groups to discuss cooperation materials in various environments, students provide feedback on the material presented by the teacher. The Urgency of Public Awareness and Law Enforcement Officials in Resolving Cases of Sexual Violence Against Minors
Get PDFToday, cases of sexual violence against minors have become a problem in Indonesia. The occurrence of this is a response to the low moral awareness of the community and the lack of assertiveness of law enforcement officials, particularly in relation to child protection. This is illustrated by the number of cases of sexual violence against minors whose resolution has not been completed, so that it has a negative psychological impact on the child as a victim. This study aims to determine the importance of public awareness and the firmness of law enforcement officials in handling cases of sexual violence against minors. The method used in this research is literature review or literature review taken from books, journals, as well as articles and interviews. The results showed that public awareness and the firmness of law enforcement officials in handling cases of sexual violence against minors are needed to resolve the problem. Counteracting Hoax News Through News-Based Learning Using Instagram Media In PKn Subjects
Get PDFOne of the negative impacts of advances in technology, information, and communication is the emergence of hoax news in cyberspace. Hoax news in the digital era is now a very serious problem. Hoax news is found on various social media and news sites that do not have credibility. If hoax news continues to be allowed to spread, there will be potential disintegration in people's lives. Therefore, it is necessary for a citizen to be able to sort and choose information circulating in cyberspace. This ability becomes an absolute thing that must be owned by digital citizens. Based on the results of research conducted by several parties showed that the majority of internet users, especially social media, are generation Y and Z including students in both middle and high school. PKn or Civic Education as one of the compulsory subjects in school has an important role to provide education to students related to the dangers of hoaxes and how to identify the credibility of information sources rationally and logically, and not emosional as a form of citizen responsibility in the digital world. This research is qualitative descriptive that seeks to provide alternative VAT learning models in order to form students' analytical skills in identifying hoax news in the digital world. The Shifting of Adat "Anan Tuwoi" at the Siwe Morge Wedding of the Kayuagung Community, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency
Get PDFThis study aims to describe the shift in the custom of "anan tuwoi" at the siwe morge wedding ceremony of the Kayuagung community, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The research was conducted in the community of Kayuagung, Kayuagung District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The type of research is qualitative research using observation data collection techniques, interviews, and documentation. Research informants include customary stakeholders and community representatives from each Kelurahan. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the research results that the custom "anan tuwoi" in siwe morge of the Kayuagung community is still preserved but there are some shifts in its implementation, it can be seen from the implementation of the custom "anan tuwoi" which usually can only be carried out by the native sons and daughters of the Kayuagung area, Ogan Komering Ilir, but in line the times and the advancement of technology, this custom is not only carried out by the sons and daughters of the original area of Kayuagung Ogan Komering Ilir, but if one of the brides either the bride or the groom comes from outside Kayuagung Ogan Komering Ilir this custom can still be implemented. Another shift in the equipment that the bride brings, in the past in the custom of "anan tuwoi" the bride is required to bring complete household equipment, but due to the increasingly difficult economy, the middle to lower class people are partly unable to fulfill all of the equipment. The next shift in the implementation of the tradition of "anan tuwoi", the bride, after completing all the traditional implementation processions, immediately lives at the groom's residence carrying all the equipment. Despite these shifts, the custom of "anan tuwoi" is still preserved until now as a legacy of our previous ancestors, which has many benefits and does not conflict with religious teachings.Keywords: shift, customs, "anan tuwoi"
Digital Citizenship: Digital Ethics As Prevention Measures Cyberbullying
Get PDFTechnology, information and communication will always develop over time, technological developments facilitate human activities in fulfilling needs. Progress in this field is like a double-edged knife, on the one hand it has a good impact on society and on the other hand has a bad impact on people's lives. Ease of access, openness and freedom of expression are the positive impacts of advances in technology, information and communication, but the negative impact lurks society, namely the transformation of new crimes in the form of cyberbullying. This research uses literature review, literature review data is literature study. The purpose of this literature study is to determine the role of digital citizenship, especially elements of digital ethics in cyberbullying cases. The results of this study indicate that technological advances also have the potential for criminal acts through digital media, such as the case of cyberbullying. The rise of cyberbullying cases shows a degradation of the character of citizens. Therefore, cyberbullying must be overcome immediately with various efforts and there needs to be a synergy of various related elements. Cyberbullying can be minimized by cultivating an understanding of digital citizenship and digital ethics. These efforts are deemed effective in shaping digital citizenship as a response to the challenges of the global community.Keywords: cyberbullying; digital citizenship; digital etiquette
Optimizing the Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Protection in the Indonesian Mining Industry Based on ANIMATION (Active Monitoring Safety Regulation)
Get PDFThis study examines the optimization of the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) protection system in Indonesia's mining sector. This research is normative legal research using secondary data sources through library research based on applications often found in real-life realizations. This research is prescriptive using grammatical interpretation and systematic interpretation of the provisions of laws and regulations relating to workers' protection in the mining sector in Indonesia. The results show that the laws and regulations in Indonesia have not optimally regulated the protection of workers in the mining sector, as evidenced by the high frequency of work accident cases which are always increasing due to less strict OHS supervision and violations that have become a habit that has been accepted as a common practice. This research will comprehensively examine the ideal prototype recommendations regarding OSH protection management based on the ANIMATION (Active Monitoring Safety Regulation) system which is projected to supervise mining industry players (employers and workers) to provide adequate minimum K3 qualifications. This is intended to optimize the improvement of K3 and minimize the risk of work accidents in the mining sector's operational activities in Indonesia.Keywords: protection; occupational health and safety (K3); mining; ANIMATION
Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Media Video Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Motivasi Belajar Sejarah
Get PDFThis research aimed to improve learning motivation and critical thinking skills of students through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) and video media learning models in history. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection of action. The subjects of the research were students of class XI IPS 4 Ngemplak 1 High School, which amount 41 students. Data sources come from teachers and students. The technique of data collection are by observation, interview, questionnaire, evaluation test, and documentation. Data validity was tested using data triangulation techniques and triangulation method. Data analysis was carried out with a comparative descriptive analysis method and interactive analysis method.The results of the research shows that: 1) The application of learning with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) and video media models can improve the learning motivation of XI IPS 4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak. This is indicated by the increasing of the percentage that has a high number of learning motivations in the category of 43.90% in pre-cycle, increased to 53.66% in cycle I, and 85.37% in cycle II. The achievement of the percentage of learning motivation has exceeded the target achievement indicator that has been set at ≥80%. 2) The application of historical learning to the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with video media can improve the critical thinking skills of XI IPS 4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak. This is indicated by the increasing of the percentage of high categories resulting from the evaluation of students' critical thinking skills, namely 17.07% in pre-cycle, increased to 58.54% in the first cycle, and 80.49% in the second cycle. The achievement of the percentage of critical thinking ability has met the indicator target in this study, which is ≥80%. Based on the results of the research it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with video media is able to increase learning motivation and critical thinking skills of XI IPS 4 students at SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak
Peranan Organisasi Istri Sedar Terhadap Pergerakan Kaum Perempuan Indonesia (1930-1942)
Get PDFThis study aims to describe: (1) The background establishment of Istri Sedar organization (2) The role of Istri Sedar organization in the social, education, economic, and political sectors (3) The impact establishment of Istri Sedar organization in the Indonesian women’s movement in 1930-1942.This research uses the historical method. There are two sources used, namely primary sources and secondary sources. Primary sources are congress reports, speeches, newspapers, magazines, accompanied by secondary sources in the form of relevant books and journals. Data were collected by using the literature study technique. The procedures in this study include heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography stages.The results showed that: (1) The background establishment of Istri Sedar was influenced by internal factors such as the emergence of women's awareness; while external factors included education for women, the development of secular-nationalist ideology, and the success of Turkish reform movement in eliminating polygamy (2) The role of Istri Sedar in the social sector such as criticize polygamy, forced marriage, child marriage, divorce, and prostitution; in the education sector seeks to provide teaching, eradication of illiteracy by establishing schools and courses; roles in the economic sector, namely campaigning for the importance of establishment cooperative and carrying out economic improvements; while the role carried out in the political field is to make Indonesian women’s aware to participate actively in politics together with men (3) The establishment of Istri Sedar has a positive impact on efforts to improve the welfare of Indonesian women in various sector of life, while the negative impact is disputes with related religious organizations different perspectives about the position of women in Islamic marriage law
Nilai-Nilai Perjuangan Pertempuran Ambarawa Sebagai Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter dalam Perencanaan Pembelajaran Sejarah Indonesia SMA Di Kabupaten Semarang
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to describe: (1) The character values contained in the Battle of Ambarawa struggle. (2) Learning planning related to character values in the Battle of Ambarawa struggle to be used as a strengthening of character education in high school in Indonesian History subjects.This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The sources of data from this study are informants and documents. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection technique uses two techniques, namely: interviews and document analysis. The data validity technique used was the data triangulation technique and methods. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation and conclusion.Based on the research results, it can be concluded: (1) The character values contained in the Ambarawa Battle as one of the local histories in Semarang Regency include the values of hard work, democracy, love for the country and social care. (2) The lesson plan for SMA Negeri 1 Ambarawa, SMA Islam Sudirman Ambarawa and SMA Virgo Fidelis Bawen have inserted the character values of the Battle of Ambarawa as strengthening character education even though they are not written in detail in the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) of Indonesian History. There are differences in RPP components between the three schools, SMA Negeri 1 Ambarawa and SMA Islam Sudirman Ambarawa use the one-sheet RPP format, while SMA Virgo Fidelis Bawen still maintains the old RPP format with many pages
