PERJUANGAN RADEN RONGGO PRAWIRODIRJO III MELAWAN KOLONIALISME BELANDA TAHUN 1796-1810 DAN RELEVANSINYA BAGI PENGEMBANGAN MATERI SEJARAH LOKAL
The objectives of this study are: (1) To describe the condition of government in Madiun before and during Raden Ronggo Prawirodirjo III, (2) to describe the background of Raden Ronggo Prawirodirjo III to fight the Dutch colonialism in 1796-1810, (3) to describe the relevance of the struggle of Raden Ronggo Prawirodirjo III against Dutch colonialism in 1796-1810 for the development of Local History material.
This study uses historical methods. The sources used are primary and secondary sources in the form of Yogyakarta Residency files 1724-1903, chronicles and published sources. Data collection is done by library research techniques. Data analysis in this study uses historical analysis. The research procedures carried out included heuristic stages, criticism, interpretation, and historiography.
The results of the study show that: (1) Madiun had had government administration unit and power since the Singosari period to Mataram. The government structure at that time consisted of a regent who was assisted by a patih, wedana, a great mantri, mantra-mantri field, prosecutor, penghulu, demang, lurah palang, bekel, carik, kebayan, and kepetengan, and modin. (2) The background of the struggle of Raden Ronggo Prawirodirjo III against Dutch colonialism was a change new colonial exploitation system, limiting the power of indigenous rulers and demands for surrender of teak forests in foreign mancanegara wetan to the colonial government. (3) Relevance of the study for the development of Local History course material could be seen as the facility to extend the knowledge about historiography of local history
TRANSFORMATION OF CHARACTER VALUES AS THE BASIS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INDEPENDENT LEARNING: WHAT SHOULD STUDENTS UNDERSTAND?
This study aims to find out how character values can be used as a basis for implementing an independent learning curriculum in higher education. For this reason, it is necessary to know how students understand how to do this. This research was conducted at the State University of Medan. The research subjects are students and lecturers at Medan State University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. To produce data that can be accounted for, it is necessary to do data validity and analysis. The data that has been obtained is then checked using a triangulation model. The data obtained were then analyzed through four stages, namely data presentation, data reduction, verification, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research above show that in general, students express character is very necessary. One of these character values is that which is implemented at the State University of Medan, namely citizenship, justice, honor, responsibility, caring and being trustworthy. The six character values can be implemented if they are carried out through the elaboration of intellectual virtues, civic virtues, moral virtues and performance virtues. These four competencies are mutually reinforcing to encourage behavioral changes in students and lecturers. The results of this study are expected to be a guide in implementing independent learning policies, so that students can face various social changes, cultural changes and technological advances to enter a better world of work.Keywords: character value; independent learning; students
The Role of the Social Institution "PPAP Seroja" in Fulfilling the Rights of Neglected Children in Education Sector
Indonesia, which is a rule of law country, the rights of the child are the same as respect for human rights, but unfortunately, the facts show that children are a group that is vulnerable to violence. The city of Surakarta is a city that holds the title of a Child Friendly City, the Surakarta City Government is willing to fulfill it in terms of funds or policies that integrate the freedom of children's rights. The city of Surakarta has made every effort to guarantee the rights of every child. Surakarta City Government has taken various ways to realize the rights of neglected children. The work program pursued by the Social Service includes conducting raids to catch abandoned children. This method implemented by the Social Service has been not effective. Therefore, the Seroja PPAP Social Institution was born to serve the community in dealing with the problems of neglected children in the city of Surakarta. Seroja PPAP Institution can fulfill the rights of neglected children in the field of education through the work program they run. This study aims to determine how the role of the Social Institution "PPAP Seroja" in dealing with the problems of neglected children. This research uses literature study. The data obtained from reviewing the literature were analyzed in more depth. Social Capital of Forest Protection Community Association (PMPH) in Muria Forest Preservation Efforts
The values, norms, and habits of the community can be used as social capital in an effort to preserve the environment, especially forests as one of the sources of survival in the future. Concern for the environment carried out both personally and in groups such as forest protection communities can be done to minimize the damage to muria mountain marble forests, especially the muria village area used as a tourist attraction with high community mobility. The purpose of this study is to find out what elements of social capital are owned by the forest protection community association (PMPH) in preserving the muria forest area. The study focused on forest protection communities and the involvement of local communities. This type of research is a qualitative research case study (case study). Data collection techniques with interviews, document studies and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Data validity tests use triangulation method techniques, while data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion withdrawal. The results showed that the elements of social capital owned by the members of the muria forest protection community community are mutual trust and have that forests are an integral part of life that must be maintained, strong solidarity between members of the community and the community to maintain the forest ecosystem for mutual benefit, commitment and consistency of the community in handling the problem of forest destruction and continuing to Socializing to all citizens the importance of maintaining forest sustainability. Forest conservation efforts also have a significant impact in processing and utilizing wisely and wisely the gift of God, if no one cares for and preserves then the forest will be damaged by the flow of human mobility and irresponsible hands.Keywords: social capital; muria forest protection society association (PMPH)
The Development of a Civic Disposition for Indonesian Youth through the Youth Organization
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Taruna Bhakti youth organization in building and forming civic disposition values for young people in Wotgaleh-Gendungan Village RW 09. Through the Youth Organization, it can support the inculcation of civic character values in each member of the youth organization, and the activities carried out by the youth organization can shape the character of the youth. This type of research the writer uses in this research is descriptive using a qualitative approach. The research method used is an objective case study describe the role of the Taruna Bhakti youth organization as a place for the development of youth civic disposition. The subject of this research is the Taruna Bhakti Wotgaleh-Gendungan Youth Organization RW 09. The results of the research found were that youth organizations at the village level were able to build and shape youth citizenship characters. The role of youth organizations can be seen from activities that are already running and other work programs. The activities carried out continuously by Taruna Bhakti youth groups are as follows: (1) Social service work; (2) Agenda for regular meetings; (3) Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia; (4) Healthy walking; (5) Sinoman or guest waiter activities.Keywords: civic disposition; youth; youth organization
Government Policy in the Implementation of Inclusive Schools as the Embodiment of Education without Discrimination
This study aims to analyze government policies in the implementation of inclusive schools as a manifestation of education without discrimination, whether it is running in accordance with the principles of education that have been stipulated in the national education law and to find out how the implementation of the inclusive school system so that discrimination does not occur and to know the government's concern in an inclusive school in the field. The research method used in this research is literature study research method which comes from books, journals and articles with literature review data collection techniques. The results of the literature study show that teachers are an important factor in the service and education process, as well as government policies in implementing inclusive schools as a manifestation of education without discrimination greatly helping them to become young Indonesians who are aware of national and state life based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution and humans. Impact of Child Violence on Children's Mental Health
Violence against children is still rampant in Indonesia. Physical violence and psychological violence. That way there is an after effect. Children's mental health is a mental condition of children who do not experience mental disorders, and have the ability to think clearly, control emotions, and socialize with children their age. Poor mental health in childhood can lead to more serious behavioral disorders due to mental and emotional imbalances, as well as a child's poor social life. The data analysis technique used is using qualitative methods with data collection through the library. The results of this study are that the presence of child abuse makes children easily depressed and will cause children to become easy to lie and get angry easily.Keywords: impact; child abuse; mental health
The Impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic on Society and Efforts to Overcome It
The purpose of writing this article is to find out the causes of unemployment, the efforts made to overcome unemployment both by individuals and by the local government. The method used is by observing, interviewing and reviewing literature related to the Watuagung area, Wonogiri, the results of the study show that the emergence of unemployment is not only due to external factors such as lack of employment and uneven employment opportunities but can also be caused by internal factors such as laziness, genetics, inequality. able to take advantage of opportunities and do not have special skills. The local government's efforts to overcome unemployment arising from the COVID-19 pandemic by developing the economic sector through the local tourism sector such as culinary tourism and tourist attractions and the development of village business units. Efforts have been made by the national government by allocating data on mitigating the impact of the pandemic, income tax incentives, policies for relaxing social security contributions and developing social sector security networks. Early Marriage Regarding Child Protection
Marriage or marriage is an important event in life. With marriage, a person will get a balance of life both biologically, psychologically, and socially. According to the marriage law, the minimum age limit for a person to marry is if the woman has reached the age of 16 and the man has reached 19 years. Meanwhile, based on the Law on Child Protection, the age of married women is over 18 years. But in reality, the practice of early marriage or child marriage is still rampant among the community. This article aims to find out how early marriage practices are related to child protection. The method used in this research is a type or research approach in the form of a library research (library research). Then the data sources that are used as research material are laws, books, journals and internet sites related to the chosen topic, namely early marriage. then the process of selecting, comparing, combining, and sorting various meanings is carried out until they are found that are relevant. The results showed that a marriage at an early age could not fulfill the requirements stipulated in Article 6, namely the free will of the bride and groom because she was not yet an adult. And having a marriage that is before the age of 18 is a violation of Law No.35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection, which is a further rule of Article 28B paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution.Keywords: early marriage; age; child protection
Character Development of Child Prisoners to Form a Good Citizen
The purpose of this study is to describe the character building policy for child inmates to form good citizens. The form of research that will be used is descriptive analytical qualitative research. Some data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the purpose of fostering for Prisoners and Penitentiary Students (ANDIKPAS), is closely related to the purpose of punishment. However, the penitentiary is not a place to punish children, but is a place to nurture children and educate children so that they will not repeat their actions. The benefits of doing character building include raising moral awareness on Andikpas. Character development can be done through character education. Character development in Kutoarjo LPKA is carried out using the assignment, habituation, training, learning, direction and exemplary methods. To prepare and equip the future of Andikpas, LPKA has prepared a series of applicable skills training. Among other things, training, fisheries training, farming, and job training make items that can be sold.Keywords: policy; coaching; character
