    Female Status of Inheritance Customary Law in Batak Toba Society in Humbanghasundutan Regency, Lintongnihuta District

    The well-known family system in the Toba Batak community is the patrilineal system, which follows the male lineage and is the generation of the parents' ancestors, while daughters are not the parents' generation. The consequences of this system greatly affect the position of daughters in terms of inheritance. TAP MPRS Number II of 1960 and Supreme Court Decision Number 179 K/Sip/1961 are developments in the position of girls as heirs of their parents. This research uses empirical juridical research methods. Samples were taken by random sampling. The analysis carried out is by using descriptive analysis which will describe, explain and reveal the actual position of girls in the traditional inheritance law of the Toba Batak community who live permanently in Lintongnihuta District and what factors influence the development of girls' inheritance. From the research results obtained, in principle the patrilineal family system is maintained and what changes and develops is the influence of this system on the position of daughters in terms of inheritance. With the issuance of Supreme Court Decision Number 1769K/Sip/1961, we are moving towards a parenting system that provides equality, humanity, justice and equal rights between sons and daughters in inheriting their parents' assets. The conclusion from the research results is that the position of girls has experienced development in sharing the same inheritance as boys. With this neutral nature, modernization occurs which leads to homogeneity, namely showing the existence of equality between men and women and has a large influence in the field of customary law, especially the Batak customary inheritance law that exists overseas.     Strengthening Critical Thinking Skills for Students Through Application Project Learning Model

    This study discusses strengthening critical thinking skills for students which is one of the skills in the 21st century. Strengthening critical thinking skills is carried out by applying a project learning model. We can see that the independent curriculum concept emphasizes project learning which is expected to have a good impact on the learning process. This study aims to contribute to understanding the knowledge of teachers and students about the importance of having critical thinking skills which can be strengthened through the application of project learning models. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with interview data collection techniques and literature study. The results of this study explain that strengthening critical thinking skills for students can be done through the application of project learning models.     Learning Strategy for Pancasila Education in Responding to the Money Politics Phenomena in the 2024 Elections

    Elections are a means for the community to determine potential leaders in the region and determine the direction of the policies set by these leaders. According to Undang-Undang No. 07 of 2017 concerning Pemilihan Umum, the principles in elections consist of direct, public, free, secret, honest and fair. Civics education is one of the main agents in building democratic character in students through political education. Education has the aim of developing capabilities and forming dignified national character and civilization in the context of educating the life of the nation, aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens of a democratic and responsible. The data collection method used in this research is by using interviews and literature study. Researchers examined the importance of political education through Civics subjects in order to provide students with an understanding of democratic values. Through this political education students can implement the lessons learned through real practice, namely elections. The rise of money politics in Indonesia is no longer a foreign phenomenon for the Indonesian people, even though the impact caused by money politics greatly affects the country in the long term, so that public awareness is needed in determining policies where these policies bring prosperity to a nation.     Strengthening Local Democracy with Civic Political Literacy as Impact from The Role Local NGOs

    This research explores the impact of the South Sulawesi People's Child Advocacy and Education Institute Program in strengthening local democracy through civic political literacy. The importance of citizenship education and political literacy in building society to be involved and participate in the democratic process. The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the program's effectiveness in increasing political knowledge, citizen awareness and active participation in the context of local democracy in Pangkep Regency. This research method involves collecting data through interviews and participant observation. The research sample consisted of program participants and local stakeholders involved in program implementation. The collected data was analyzed using a qualitative approach. The research results show that the program continuously increases participants' political knowledge, builds citizens' awareness of community political rights and encourages active participation in the local democratic process. Through a participatory approach, program participants are encouraged to think critically, develop political analysis skills, and engage in discussion and collective action. The program succeeded in building partnerships with local stakeholders, strengthening social networks, and expanding its impact in the community. The conclusion of this research is that the LAPAR SULSEL program plays an important role in strengthening local democracy through civic political literacy. This program is effective in increasing political knowledge, citizen awareness, and active participation in the context of local democracy in the Makassar region. The implication is that in order to strengthen local democracy in a sustainable manner, continuous support is needed from the government, community and other stakeholders. In addition, the recommendations from this research can serve as a model for similar efforts in other regions to strengthen political participation and involve citizens in decision-making processes that impact society as a whole.     Praktik Kekerasan Simbolik dalam Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh

    AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk-bentuk kekerasan simbolik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh dan dampaknya bagi objek kekerasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mewawancarai 3 orang guru dan 5 orang siswa sebagai informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya praktik kekerasan simbolik dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh, seperti (1) adanya pemaksaan terhadap siswa untuk mengikuti pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan fasilitas yang lengkap, (2) siswa harus mampu memahami materi dan mencari sumber belajar secara mandiri untuk melengkapi kekurangan materi dari guru, (3) siswa dibebani banyak tugas, (4) siswa harus mengikuti metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru walaupun terasa monoton dan kurang variatif. Adanya praktik kekerasan simbolik membawa dampak dalam berbagai aspek, seperti: (1) aspek psikologis, siswa mengalami tekanan dan rasa jenuh akibat pembelajaran jarak jauh, (2) aspek ekonomi, adanya penambahan pengeluaran untuk pembelian kuota dan fasilitas belajar lainnya, (3) aspek sosiologis, kurangnya interaksi sosial yang terjadi antara guru dan siswa maupun antarsiswa. Kata Kunci:  pembelajaran jarak jauh; bentuk kekerasan simbolik; dampak kekerasan simboli

    The Impact of the Covid 19 Pandemic on Early Childhood Moral Education

    This study is used to explore moral inculcation in students during the Covid 19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to examine how moral education in early childhood is in the Covid 19 pandemic era. The method used is qualitative. The results of this study are: The impact caused by the covid 19 pandemic, cognitively, emotionally and culturally students are less developed because learning activities cannot be face-to-face. Conclusion: Concepts, constraints and impacts of moral value education in early childhood in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic include the cognitive, emotional and cultural aspects of students.     Civic Engagement to Configurate The Character of Ecological Citizenship (Menuran Village, Baki District, Sukoharjo Regency)

    The purpose of this paper is to 1) analyze forms of civic engagement in building ecological character citizenship through the “Masdulkabi Community” environmental awareness program, 2) knowing the obstacles in the implementation of the Masdulkabi program. The research method is descriptive qualitative research, with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on citizen involvement in shaping the character of ecological citizenship through the Masdulkabi Community program are a form of concern for the preservation of the Baki river environment by involving local residents by carrying out work programs according to Masdulkabi's mission through garden maintenance, tree planting, and socialization and river conservation efforts such as protection, utilization and maintenance of rivers so that they will provide sustainable benefits to the environment

    ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study were: 1) Determine the application Adiwiyata School at SMAN 4 Surakarta. 2) Knowing improvement of  the professional competence of school teachers in the implementation of Ecological Citizenship in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta. 3) Know the issues and solutions faced by teachers in improving the professional competence of school teachers in the implementation of Ecological Citizenship in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta.This study is the descriptive qualitative research. The research data was obtained from the informants, places, and the documents. Purposive sampling was used for the sampling technique. Interviews, observations, and the documents analysis were used to collect the data. The data validity used the data and method triangulations. To analyze the data, an interactive analysis model was used. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that: 1) Implementation Adiwiyata School in SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta can be concluded that the application of the policy pursued in the school had implemented a change in the vision and mission of the school is the protection and management of environment, policy insertion environmental insight into subjects, and policies that contain rules or order to safeguard the environment. 2) Development of professionalism of teachers on an ongoing basis can be done through activities such as: training, courses, training, upgrading and other forms of education and training. Regarding the utilization of information and communication technology, teachers have a high willingness to implement ICT in the learning process, it can be seen from the use of media-based learning effective video used in learning environmentally sound, while also using the group WhatsApp as a medium of learning is flexible, and the use of new learning media is Quipper School. 3) The problem of teachers in improving the professional competence of school teachers in the implementation of the Ecological Adiwiyata citizenship are: management time in learning activities, especially with the ability of students to understand the material provided and the insertion of environmental education with the subjects of teaching. While the solution of teachers in dealing with the problems facing the management of time is not good that the teachers sharing experience with other teachers when it got into trouble, it gives students the understanding to explain the material that has not been understood by other students and provide additional value to students who able to explain the material well and clearly, and to maximize the practical activities- related to managing the waste that is around to make compost from waste paper crafts and others, as well as inserting understanding the value of protecting the environment well.Keywords: Teacher, Professional Competence, Adiwiyata School, Ecological                            Citizenshi

    UPAYA PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN STANDART KOMPETENSI MENGANALISIS HUBUNGAN DASAR NEGARA DENGAN KONSTITUSI MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) BAGI SISWA KELAS X PROGRAM TEKNIK OTOMOTIF

    ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran PKn di kelas X Program Teknik Otomotif SMK Purnama Surakarta  Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif type Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelas X Semester II kompetensi keahlian TKR di SMK Purnama Surakarta. Subjek penelitian yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Indikator prestasi belajar dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan berdasarkan Standart Ketuntasan Belajar Mengajar (SKBM) yang digunakan pada mata pelajaran PKn Kelas X semester II di SMK Purnama Surakarta, siswa dikatakan tuntas belajar secara individual apabila telah mencapai nilai ≥ 75. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa melalui metode kooperatif tipe think pair share (TPS), dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar PKn siswa di kelas X TKR 1 SMK Purnama Surakarta. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada kegiatan prasiklus diperoleh hasil sebesar 44.61% meningkat menjadi 62.25% pada tindakan siklus I, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 74.02%, meningkat pada siklus III menjadi 89.22%. Hasil belajar PKn di kelas X TKR 1 SMK Purnama Surakarta pada kegiatan prasiklus dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 69.59 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 17 siswa (50.00%). Setelah dilakukan tindakan I, nilai rata-rata sebesar 73.47 dengan ketuntasan 20 siswa (58.82%). Peningkatan pada siklus II dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 75.91 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 24 siswa (70.60%). Peningkatan pada siklus III ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 81.71 dan jumlah ketuntasan sebanyak 34 siswa (100%).  Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS (Think Pair Share), Motivasi                Belajar, Hasil Belajar

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan anggota dan pengurus Lycan sebagi subjek penelitian. Adapun teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan menggunakan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hal-hal yang mendasari terbentuknya Komunitas Lycanadalah latar belakang dari tiap-tiap anggota yang kebanyakan merupakan teman sepermainan yang sudah memiliki kedekatan sebelumnya dan memiliki hobby yang sama.
