    Analisis Strategi Bersaing Perusahaan Bus Menggunakan Teknik Rantai Markov, Game Theory, dan Short Route Models

    Terminal Klari that located in Kabupaten Karawang has a function as a temporary stop place for public vehicles to raise and lower passengers. PO Bus with Klari – Purwokerto route is the object of the research. The large number of PO busses on this route causes loyalty of the passenger is decline. These observations were made on 6 PO Busses with Klari – Purwokerto route and with 6 attributes, there are price, service, facilities, ease of getting information, easy of getting tickets, and the travel time. The objective of the research is to determine the competitive strategies based on the analysis of the bus brand switching by bus passengers with Klari – Purwokerto route. This research utilizes a Markov chain, game theory, and short route models. The results of processing and analysis using Markov chain, obtained that the market share reached steady state in the 11th period with a yield of 16.09% for Dedy Jaya, 29.35% for Murni Jaya, 25.13% for Sinar Jaya, 7.97% for Pahala Kencana, 10.69% for DMI, and 10.77% for Dieng Indah. From game theory method the results of the game there are several alternative strategies for DMI Buses, such as improving the means of promotion and communication so the passengers can get information with easily about Bus DMI. The alternative route from the short route model is Klari Terminal - Tol Kranci / Pejagan - Bumi Ayu - Purwokerto, with a total distance of 304.7 km

    The company always tries to meet customer demands, so it must be able to provide good product quality. Quality control is always carried out by manufacturing companies for the creation of zero defects. Lever Assy Parking Brake is part of the cars spare parts produced by manufacturing company X and must have a zero defect product quality level. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of product defect using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method. Data was carried out with process control procedures. This study showed that the product defect rate of Lever Assy Parking Brake with Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method in March 2018 was very large. As seen from the 22 data production processes, 13 production process data (59 percent) were out-of-control but still fell within the specification limit of 9 ± 0.5 mm. Meanwhile, only 9 data production processes (41 percent) were in control. So there is a need to analyze causes and corrective actions. R control chart shows the process that has been stable or under control has a UCL (Upper Control Limit) value of 0.21, the LCL (Lower Control Limit) value of 0 and a value of CL (central line) of 0.10. Whereas ̅ chart shows the control limit with UCL value of 9.39, LCL value is 9.27 and CL value is 9.33

    CV. Faresti Prima which is a company engaged in machining, automatic part, dies, and jigs. Union Pipe Unit is part of the research because it has problems in the assignment that is still manual. Data collection is done on unit union pipe with average work per day. The problem is found in the union pipe unit with the manual assignment. Observations made on 4 people for cutting pipes, chamfering, stamping, and packing. Results of observations then performed data processing using Hungarian method, so that the optimum unit is generated per hour as much as 8.125. Furthermore, data processing was performed using PERT method with the result stated that the optimum working order was A-B-C-D-E with total processing time for 5,000 units for 16.5 hours. The last data processing using CPM method can be seen that the acceleration time as much as 8 hours from the initial time is 16.5 hours with the total crash cost of 4,000,000 IDR from the allocated fund of 4,225,000 IDR. From some data processing, it can be seen that there is an optimization in the assignment and network work. Therefore, in accordance with the existing theories and objectives of this research, namely to optimize the existing human resources for the work done equally and minimize the losses due to unemployed use of these methods can be used as a reference in the making of the schedule, so as to facilitate the course of the project to know the delay in every process

Recruitment of outsourced labor by the outsourcing service tenant is because the Company can reduce operating costs and improve the company. However, it is not comparable to outsourced employees to the services of tenant companies outsourcing services. Based on these conditions, the researchers analyze the relationship of employees in an outsourcing service company in Indonesia using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). The results show there are two attributes that belong to “concentrate these“category which means the company's performance has not been maximized for outsourcing employees. These attributes are the accuracy of salary payments and the nominal salary that is generated every month

    The goal of the distribution system is to deliver the product promptly, quickly and generate the minimum cost. Therefore, the development of distribution system is very important because it can support the growth and development of the company. This study aims to get the route of delivery of the most appropriate and optimal products and get transportation cost savings. PT. IPM is a company engaged in the production of automotive. The problems faced by PT. IPM is the absence of good product distribution planning and scheduling distribution process is considered not maximal. This is due to the number of routes are too many, the distance is too far delivery, the limited means of conveyance and utilization of transport space less than the maximum and the high cost of transportation. To solve the problem of PT. IPM then needed the best method, that is Saving Matrix method which is used to determine product distribution route to the customer based on the capacity of conveyance used and Nearest Neighbors method for route ordering. From the result of mathematical calculation with Saving Matrix method and algorithm with Nearest Neighbors method obtained 49 best routes for PT. IPM. The distance to be taken is as far as 6,010 kilometers with transportation cost of Rp. 46,630,527. The resulting distance saving is 22% (1,690.9 km), while the transportation cost savings that occur is 38% or Rp. 28,494,021

    This research was made with the aim to make production planning and inventory control in manufacturing company of plastic glass, especially for main raw material from 14 oz plastic cup product, that is Resin-HE 2.0 and whitening using lot sizing method. Due to the fluctuating demand and the accumulation of raw materials in the warehouse, the company needs for production planning and inventory control. The lot-sizing method used in this research is Period Order Quantity (POQ), Lot For Lot (LFL) and Fixed Period Requirement (FPR) which each method have a different concept. The result by using FPR Method 3 weeks and LFL in inventory control will give the lowest inventory cost to the company that is equal to Rp. 159.400,00 for Resin-HE 2.0 and Rp. 39.600,00 for whitening

    September 2018 is the deadline for an organization that has implemented an international standard quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 to switch the latest international standard ISO 9001: 2015. Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto is one of the organizations that have implemented the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 since early 2017 (Previously ISO 9001: 2008 implementation). The main objectives of the implementation of ISO 9001 are to improve customer satisfaction both external and internal, including students as the main user of the service organization as an external customer. Therefore, this organization needs to measure the level of student satisfaction with services provided by Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto after the organization is implementing ISO 9001: 2015. Data were collected using the questionnaire method consists of 24 questions that designed and analyzed by the SERVQUAL approach. Validity and reliability testing were done by using SPSS software and the measurement result of 24 question items stated Valid and Reliable. From the preliminary research, it was found that the institution should introduce ISO 9001: 2015 to the students at Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto. Using the SERVQUAL approach and analyzing GAP 5, comparing the expectations and perceptions of customers (students), the result is that organizations need to improve the speed of the service (academic/student affairs/staff) to students (GAP Value 1.11). In addition, institutions also need to increase the attention of students (GPA Value 1.06). Several efforts have been made with the construction of facilities such as a lecture building that continues to be implemented as well as changes in organizational structure to improve the quality of academic and non-academic services to students

Even today, many developed countries from all over the world are competing to advance their maritime activities and their auspices for the country's interests so that the role of the sea becomes dominant for developing of the countries. One of the most common marine activities people do is sea fishing. the marine and fisheries sector has enormous potential to become a national economist. In Indonesia, many people depend on the fisheries sector. So, in this research that will be discussed is to determine the model of the number of marine fish production in East Java Province with Box-Cox Transformation method on Multiple Linear Regression to get significant control variable on the amount of sea fish production in East Java Province. The result of regression using Box-Cox transform shows that some variables such as the number of fishermen, fishing equipment, and boat or fishing boat motor have a significant influence on R2 89.3%. With this model, it is hoped to be one strategy to increase the number of fishing through the selection of appropriate control variables

    This paper discussed modification of men’s brief underwear which already exists in the market. The modification allowed to change the sectional design of brief underwear into modular form. In the process of modification, the additional component is required for the joint component where the joint component sewed to the waist section of the underwear both left and right. The method would use in this paper are Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and House of Quality (HOQ). Modified products are provided with additional hook and eye-type components, commonly found on women's bra. The additional components increase the total price to be paid for a modified product of Rp 26,000 per unit

    This research uses the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method to measure the blowing machine effectiveness at the plastic bottle manufacturing plant. This paper investigates losses that gave the biggest impact on machine effectiveness value. Afterwards analytical methods are used in this paper, using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Logic Tree Analysis (LTA). Both methods identify as many causes as the failure that can decrease machine effectiveness. OEE value was influenced by low-performance efficiency. Failure that most affect the effectiveness of the machine is shown by factors with the value of Risk Priority Number (RPN) above the critical value
