Mengurangi Antrean pada Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Umum dengan Pendekatan Simulasi Menggunakan ProModel
The gas station has become an important facility for the public, especially for people in large cities such as Jakarta. This condition was caused by increasing demand from year to year. The number of facilities has less number than the customer that came, which could cause queueing in the station. This research was made with the purpose to reduce the number of the queue and increase the number of customers serviced at the gas station. This research located on one of the gas stations in Jakarta at 16.00-18.00 from Monday to Friday. The data used for this research is primary data which was observed directly by the researcher. The data used for this research are the number of customers arrived and service time. Data analysis is using discrete-event simulation with ProModel software. The conclusion of this research is the actual system has a relatively high number of queueing customer which also affect the reduced number of customers that was served. Improvement model was created by decreasing the service time by 10% with the average number of queues by 4 customers for Pertalite and 4customers for Premium. Scenario model is also designed as a proposal by using customer migration scenario from Premium to Pertalite by 30%, 60%, and 100%. The proposed system for the first scenario is by decreasing the service time by 20% with the average number of queues by 8 customers for Pertalite and 1 customer for Premium. For the second scenario is by modifying the queueing system and decreasing the service time by 10% with the average number of queues by 8 customers for Pertalite and 7 customers for Premium. For the third scenario is by opening a new server for Pertalite with the average number of queues by 5 customers
Analisis Kelayakan Rencana Investasi Travel Baru Menggunakan Metode Hesitant Fuzzy Sets
Transportation is a tool that supports the construction and economic development of a country. Because in this modern era, transportation provides easy access to the movement of goods and people from one place to another. This research was conducted at a company engaged in public transportation services. The main services provided are inter-city buses in the province, inter-city inter-provincial buses, tour buses and travel transportation. In 2018, the company has plans to add six travel vehicles and the capital owned is 500.000.000 Rupiah. While the remaining capital needed will be borrowed from Bank Antardaerah, so a business feasibility study is needed that can determine whether or not the investment plan is feasible. In addition, the Hesitant Fuzzy Sets method is used to model all forms of uncertainty that can cause losses. Hesitant Fuzzy Sets are an extension of the fuzzy set to handle inaccuracies where there are two or more sources of obscurity that appear simultaneously. Some basic methods used to determine the feasibility of investment plans are Payback Period (PP), Minimum Acceptable Rate of Return (MARR) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). In addition, the Hesitant Fuzzy Sets method is used to model all forms of uncertainty that can cause losses. One example of such uncertainty is income uncertainty and expenditure uncertainty which are received by the company every year. The reason for using Hesitant Fuzzy Sets, because the method is an extension of the fuzzy set that can handle inaccuracies where there are two or more sources of obscurity that appear simultaneously
Penentuan Jumlah Operator Untuk Mengurangi Keterlambatan pada Proses Pengemasan Menggunakan Simulasi ProModel
In the current era of modernization, the development of the cosmetic industry in the world is developing very rapidly. One of the cosmetics that is the main requirement for women is lipstick. PT. Cedefindo is one of the cosmetic manufacturers that produce SASC lipstick. During 2017, there were problems in the lipstick packaging process. Based on the results of identification, the delay is caused by the buildup during the weighing process so that the next process becomes slow and sometimes makes the operator idle. The consequence that arises is often not achieving daily production targets. Therefore, this research aims to reduce the delay in the lipstick packaging process, especially the lipstick packaging section. In evaluating and analyzing the lipstick packaging system, research uses system simulation with the help of ProModel software. The result shows that adding would reduce the delay in the lipstick packaging process. Minimizing the production costs related to the packaging process is conducted by reducing operator unused work shifts. Therefore, adding some operators can reduce production costs especially on operator salaries up to 75%. The feasible solution is to assign 3 operators on low demand rate, 4 operators at normal demand rate and high demand rate
Pengaruh Bauran Pemasaran Terhadap Perpindahan Merek Pelanggan Restoran Cepat Saji di Karawang Menggunakan Metode Markov Chains dan Game Theory
As an area that has evolved into one of the industrial cities in Indonesia, Karawang has experienced rapid growth, especially in the fields of industry and business. This causes a change in lifestyle so that modern society is bornthat is synonymous with consumptive behavior patterns which result in new needs that are presented practically in people's lives, one of which is restaurant food needs so that growth presence of fast food restaurants in Karawang. Competition between fast food restaurants can result in the brands switch to customers, so marketing mix strategy (9P) is needed (Product, Price, Promotion, Place, People, Process, Physical Evidence, Packaging, Payment). This study aims to analyze the effect of the marketing mix on brand movement, the rate of movement of fast food restaurant brands (X, Y, and Z) at Karawang, and the right strategy for companies to win the competition. The Markov Chains method is used to predict the market share of a product from the level of transfer of fast-food restaurant brands in Karawang, while Game Theory is to determine the right strategy in the marketing mix in the face of shifting customer brands. Research results obtained from 113 respondents who are valid and reliable,with the relationship of the two low variables are negative at -0.083 interpreting that the marketing mix correlation with brand displacement has an inverse relationship so that the marketing mix of fast food restaurants increases, the customer's brand shift will be lower. The brand transfer rate is predicted to have a market share in the coming year of 33.2% X, 36.2% Y and 30.6% Z with competitive strategies that can be done by increasing the Promotion and Location of Fast Food Restaurants
Pengembangan Model Keselamatan pada Transportasi Kereta Api (Studi Kasus: PT. Kereta Komuter Indonesia)
The application of safety is an important matter in carrying out activities inland transportation including railroad transportation. Jabodetabek travel routes are handled directly by PT. Kereta Komuter Indonesia. This activity certainly requires a lot of human labor so safety is very important in this regard. With the existence of safety arrangements, it will avoid any related things from accidents or losses due to the delay in the completion of work caused by the inaccurate company safety management system. Therefore each element involved in each activity requires further knowledge and understanding of the core factors that are in accordance with the safety management system used. Referring to this approach, research is carried out on the railroad industry in Indonesia by developing a safety model in the railway industry. The research was conducted by finding the right literature and then developing a model for the factors considered appropriate to be applied to the safety management system in railroad transportation in Indonesia. After the model was developed, the model was confirmed by the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results of the study will prove that the factors developed in the safety model are positively related to the implementation of commuter train safety management in Indonesia
Identifikasi dan Eliminasi Pemborosan Aktivitas pada Proses Produksi Suku Cadang dengan Pendekatan Lean Manufacturing
PT. Trijaya Teknik Karawang is a manufacturing company that produces spare parts, namely the piece pivot. The increased demand make the company parties need to analyze the ability to do the production to make it more effective and efficient in order to win the competition. Preliminary observations on the production floor they still present problems that are categorized as waste. Based on it, lean manufacturing Approach used to solve these problems. First of all the waste identified by mapping the flow of production using Value Stream Mapping (VSM). Then determined the dominant waste going through weighting waste using Waste Assesment Model (WAM) with the result that the inventory is the dominant waste. Next choose a detail mapping tools with Value Stream Analyze Tools (VALSAT) and determine the cause of waste inventory with fishbone diagrams that result, the causes of waste inventory is the breakdown of the machine, the operator of conduct material handling and less nimble, the distance between the machine and the system far, the production batch manufacture. Recommendations for improvements are the application of the system production of one-piece flow with investing buying transfer dies and adds to the human resources division maintenance. The identification of the problem causing factors of the dominant waste activity, namely waste inventory using Fishbone diagrams is lack of engine maintenance because it does not have a maintenance division and the production system used is batch manufacture that produces goods in lot size so that there are WIP parts in each production process
Perencanaan Kebutuhan Bahan Baku Produk LM-Hamburger Bun Jempol dengan Metode Material Requirement Planning
This research aims to determine the planning of raw material requirements for LM-Hamburger Bun Jempol product at PT. Lotte Shopping Indonesia. This research uses Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method with Silver-Meal, Least Total Cost (LTC), and Least Unit Cost (LUC) techniques to calculate the optimal lot size, reorder point time and calculate the smallest total order costs and holding costs. The observation period was carried out for three months, starting from February to April 2018. The data used in this research were product demand data from February to April 2018, and raw material inventory data at the end of April 2018. Comparison of the three techniques it is based on the smallest total inventory costs. The results of these comparisons have been found which have the lowest total cost of the LTC technique of Rp. 17,220,819 while the total cost with Silver-Meal technique is Rp. 17,289,584, and with the LUC technique amounting to Rp. 18,386,458. Therefore, the LTC technique is more economical than the LUC and Silver-Meal techniques because it has the smallest total cost
Analisis Total Productive Maintenance pada Mesin Laminating I dengan Metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness
This research was conducted on one of the giant manufacturers of musical instrument equipment that is inseparable from problems related to the effectiveness of the machine/equipment caused by the six big losses. The improper handling and maintenance of the machine can result in losses called the six big losses. The first stage in the effort to increase production efficiency in this company is to measure the effectiveness of laminating machine I using the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) method which is then followed by measuring the OEE six big losses to find out the amount of efficiency lost in the six big losses. From these six factors, then what factors are found to give the greatest contribution that result in the large amount of efficiency lost in laminating machines I. The causal diagram can be analyzed the real problem which is the main cause of high losses resulting in low efficiency on laminating-machine I. Conclusions that can be taken on laminating machine I that the OEE value for the period April 2016 to March 2017 ranged from 61.08% to 83.91%. This condition indicates that the ability of laminating-machine I to achieve targets and achieve effectiveness has not reached the ideal condition (≥86%). As for those that affect the OEE value and become the top priority, the reduced speed factor is 78.79%
Optimasi Jumlah Kedatangan KRL Commuter Line untuk Mengatasi Penumpukan Penumpang Jalur Bekasi - Jakarta Kota Menggunakan Simulasi Promodel
A very large KRL/Commuter Line passenger increases at any time will cause problems to be monitored by P.T KAI with an enormous number of passengers who like to fly passenger accumulation. The total arrival of passengers built upon the system is 48182 passengers, with a time of 240 minutes (05.00-09.00). Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the model of Commuter Line Bekasi system to Jakarta Kota is currently stored in the passenger capacity whose KRL capacity itself is not enough with the number of passengers not transported is 7483 passengers. To overcome the current passenger accumulation is to use the scenario that has been made that is using the actual time of 14 minutes and increases the number of trains that should be 20 trains to 22 trains. The simulated scenario model result is 3034 passengers transported. Suggestions for further researchers to cope with a perfect passenger pile
Penurunan Biaya Persediaan dengan Metode Joint Replenishment Multi Item Single Supplier
The purpose of this research is to describe multi-item ordering method (Goyal, 1974) by providing a complete information of algorithm on each step. The journal itself doesn’t contain sufficient information on its example, and there is an error on a simple calculation. We observed a pulp manufacturer as raw material for making paper, tissue, printing paper and non-printing paper. There were 3 materials that purchased from a supplier and had been overstock in 2016. The materials will be examined by this method in order to reduce overstock. The results are shows that there is about 91% of the total inventory cost discrepancy between that period of total inventory cost and these methods of total inventory cost. This cost saving can be used for other investigation, for example, Indonesian Ritel Obligation or stock exchange
