Evaluasi Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja dengan Metode Job Safety Analysis
PT. Laundry XYZ is a company engaged in the garment industry, especially in the field of color dye jeans. In the process of production of PT. Laundry XYZ found many potential hazards that could interfere with safety and health of workers. The potential danger caused by machines that do not operate properly and the chemicals used during the production process in PT. Laundry XYZ. Therefore, one needs to be done to eliminate the hazard control or prevent the occurrence of workplace accidents that could endanger the employees of PT. Laundry XYZ. In this study, researchers using Job Safety Analysis methods for controlling the potential hazard where data obtained from secondary data and primary data. Secondary data obtained through the company data, scientific books, and Internet media while the primary data obtained through the collection of results obtained from the questionnaire respondents employees at PT. Laundry XYZ. The method is conducted survey research that is applied, descriptive and qualitative. In this study will also be given a qualitative picture of the studied objects in the company. By performing Job Safety Analysis work on the production process in PT. Laundry XYZ is the potential danger that existed during the production process can be eliminated or controlled. The potential hazard can be controlled either by the method of technical, administrative and personal protective equipment (APD). In the process wringkled potential dangers can be controlled by modifying work tools, administration (working procedures), and provide personal protective equipment (APD) to the workers. In the washing process of the potential hazard can be controlled by modifying the working tool, the administration of the label by placing a K3 and provide protective equipment for work. In the process manequine potential dangers can be controlled by changing the way chemicals (substitution), modifying work tools, working with the administration put a label K3 and provide personal protective equipment. Results from the control of potential danger found a way or a solution to reduce the potential danger even so accidents can be prevented or eliminated. Development of Job Safety Analysis will get a new working method of an efficient and safe working on the production process at XYZ Laundry thus will improve safety and health of employees at PT. Simulasi Model Matematik Dampak Penerapan Kebijakan Mandatori Blending Biodiesel-Solar terhadap Kebutuhan Lahan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit dan Tingkat Emisi CO2
The implementation of the mandatory policy of mixing (blending) between biofuels into the fuel has an impact on the icreasing of biodiesel needs, increasing the oil palm plantation area and environmental impact in the form of CO2 emissions by the year 2025. This study aimed to identify the level of each factor needs as well as the impact on the environment. Through the analysis of the design of mathematical models, it is known that the gradually until 2030 has been an increased need for biofuels amounted 14.79 million KL. Perancangan Ulang Tata Letak Pasar Johar Baru untuk Mengurangi Kepadatan Lalu Lintas dalam Pasar
The existance of Traditional Market is still irreplacable even by Modern Market which grow rapidly in this decade. This result comes from an observation showing that a lot of people still come and do transactions in Traditional Market. Johar Baru Market is of Traditional Market located in Central Jakarta. This market is supposed to accomodate 43.509 citizens who live in Administrative Village Johar Baru, Central Jakarta. The research utilizes data mining, particularly Market Basket Analysis methods to find the pattern of product sets association. From analyzed pattern, the research is continued by determining the eficient and efective layout in hope of reducing any congestions occured in Market. The result is to group vegetable sellers which currently spread over 17 blocks into 9 blocks and are placed at south of the market, to group fruit sellers which currently spread over 9 blocks into 4 blocks and are placed at south of the market, to group chicken sellers which currently spread over 7 blocks into 5 blocks and are placed at west of the market, to group meat sellers which currently spread over 5 blocks into 4 blocks and are placed at north of the market, to group fish sellers which currently spread over 7 blocks into 4 blocks and are placed at west of the market, to group primary substance sellers which currently spread over 13 blocks into 6 blocks and are placed at east of the market, to group Tofu and Fermented Soybean sellers which currently spread over 7 blocks into 3 blocks and are placed at east of the market, to group coconut sellers which currently spread over 3 blocks into 2 blocks and are placed at north of the market, to group food sellers which currently spread over 8 blocks into 5 blocks and are placed at east of the market, and to group processed food sellers which currently spread over 4 blocks into 2 blocks and are placed at north of the market.Keywords: Johar Baru Market, Traffic Density, Market Basket Analysi
Usulan Peningkatan Efisiensi Stasiun Kerja pada Lini Perakitan Current Coil (Studi Kasus: PT. Padma Soode Indonesia)
PT.Padma SOODE Indonesia adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bagian logam presisi stamping, presisi plastik molding, dan presisi perakitan elektronik. Untuk mengurangi perbedaan tingkat efisiensi karena perbedaan waktu antara unsur-unsur siklus bekerja, dilakukan Line Balancing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Line Balancing Helgeson-Birnie, metode peramalan dan Weight Moving Average, Moving Average, metode pengukuran akurasi peramalan berarti kuadrat kesalahan, dan ProModel 6.0 software untuk menguji kemampuan stasiun kerja untuk memenuhi permintaan. Hasil yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode - metode di atas diperlukan 4 stasiun kerja selama 4 bulan terakhir dengan kemampuan untuk merakit 49,504 pcs (jumlah permintaan tertinggi berdasarkan peramalan empat periode rata-rata bergerak selama 4 bulan terakhir) coil saat ini dalam 153,51 jam dari total 160 jam waktu kerja dan rata-rata - rata-rata kenaikan tingkat efisiensi selama 4 bulan terakhir sebanyak 9,92%.Keywords: Line Balancing, Helgeson-Birnie, Peramalan, Moving Average, Weight Moving Average, Means Squared Error
Analisis Sistem Antrian pada Bengkel Mobil Menggunakan Simulasi
In this globalization era we are encouraged to do something with effectively and easily, because the time becomes an important thing in supporting the public activities. Companies should give a good service for customer without reducing its quality with an efficient cost consideration. Because of it the company should is obliged to reduce the queue so the queue will be more effective than before and will increas the customer satisfaction. This study uses a simulation analysis to determine the queue in actual system. This simulation requires primary and secondary data (observations) on every stall in car repair shop. The next step after we know the problem from the queue simulation is creating an improvement simulation to change the process in queue, and reducing or increasing the existing stall on the actual system. The result obtained from data processing and analysis, it was found some problems that happen in the real queue system such as full capacity on some stall. Stall that needed to be improve are Spooring Stall, External Service Stall, and Washing Stall. And then the next step is doing some improvement to change the process from SBEK and SBIK to Spooring Stall into Spooring Stall to SBEK and SBIK. The second improvement is adding SBE Stall and Spooring Stall by reducing 2 SBI Stall.The conclusion in this study are the increasing amount of the output, from first improvement it increases to 115 entities and from second improvement it increases to 143 entities. Then the total time of entities in the system decreased from 456.299,47 second into 310.597,57 second dan 359.925,65 second for each improvement.Keywords: Queue, Simulation, Operations researc
Analisis Kuantitatif Data Diffraksi Sinar X Fasa Keramik Crystoballite Berbasis Silika Sekam Padi dengan Metode Rietveld
Rietveld analysis is a means of revealing the detailed structure and composition of crystalline sample using x-ray powder diffraction data. This research presents the use of the Rietveld method using Rietica program to obtain the phase abundance of crystoballite crystal from rice husk sintered at 850oC, 950oC and 1100oC that has previously been demonstrated.The model parameters are refined by the methodof least squares until a good fit (2) to the observed data is obtained. The refined parameters in this study are background, scale factor, space groups, atom co-ordinates (U,V,W), preferred orientation, and the lattice parameters. The results showed that quantitative crystoballite crystal were 87.8, 89.8 and 98.4% weight, respectively. An acceptable result for estimation of lattice parameters and weightpercentage of crystoballite with reliability (2) was found to be < 4. The results also show that analysis by Rietveld method is efficient to control the quantity of crystoballite in the sintering process.Keywords: Rietveld, Rice Husk, X-Ray Diffractio

Value Engineering is far more than a means of simply reducing existing costs. This method can be delineating alternatives and to suggest choices based on the necessity of the function based on cost-worth relationship. The principles of Value Engineering can be applied by any sectors as a management tool to control costs. In this case, Value Engineering is used in construction industry to optimize material selection process. Based on its function, the study put local ceramic from some brands. The output shows rank of criteria based on the floor function determine by respondents. Penentuan Biaya Optimum pada Permasalahan Transportasi Seimbang dengan VAM dan MODI
Transportation is fundamentally in our life, not only to distributes of goods and commodities but also to distributes humans. Transportation problem is the problem that we often encounter. This study is further research from previous research conducted by Onianwa and Sadiq from Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria. This study tried to manipulate the inter-facility transport from the discussion of the previous research with Vogel Approximation Method (VAM) and Modified Distribution (MODI). The results show that VAM provides transportation cost for 500 lower than NWCR) and equal to the output of the AAU software that used previously.Keywords: Transportation, Vogel Approximation, Modified Distribution
Pengukuran Produktivitas Menggunakan Fungsi Cobb-Douglas Berdasarkan Jam Kerja Efektif
From time to time the increasing productivity needs to be done to maintain the existence of a company. This research was conducted at a golf glove manufacturing company in Yogyakarta. This study was aimed to compare the productivity of effective working time at production line in 2014 and 2015. This research was using Cobb-Douglas approach. This study shows that the level of productivity in 2015 was higher than in 2014 with the value of the efficiency index in 2014 and 2015 are 54995.07 and 59873.94 respectively. Analisis Persediaan untuk Menentukan Profit dan Tingkat Pelayanan dengan Metode Simulasi
Research analysis of inventory to determine profit and service level in company X with simulation methods is very important to be done to determine the average profit, minimum profit, maximum profit, and service levels with demand uncertainty, which will occur at the company X, which is located in Pegangsaan 2, Kelapa Gading Permai, North Jakarta. The research objective with this simulation method is useful in the near future to determine the possibility of profit that happens, and the service level provided to customers. The long-term goal is to teach the way of solving the problem in inventory in operations management, which is taught in management courses at Bunda Mulia University. Results of this study in operations management were adequate for the subject of inventory, as the company can only provide a service level of 85%. However, the company has gained an average excellent daily profit of Rp 26.474.673. The result can be more effective and efficient if the company uses a planning software to plan and calculate raw materials inventory to satisfy daily customer’s demand.Keywords: Inventory, Simulation, Average profi
