Get PDFIn the chemical industry, especially the manufacture of the assorted colors pasta water base (Uniqua/UQ), visual pasta is very important because it can facilitate the mixing and prevent separation between the solvent and solute. To determine the level of viscosity or viscosity pastes used the color measuring instrument called viscometer. The viscometer is often used called Brookfield viscometer, which in this viscometer there is some speed rotary spindle. To standardize the spindle rotational speed to be used in testing UQ. Black QHS paste viscosity then conducted experimental research. In these experiments using ANOVA with one factor or one-way factor. This factor is the rotational speed of level 60, 30.12, 6 and 3 rpm. The result of these experiments is the spindle rotational speed affects the color paste viscosity test result.The results of these studies are the spindle rotational speed affects the color paste viscosity test results. In fact, the availability of petroleum fuel is getting decreased, while we know that fuel derived from petroleum is nonrenewable. Therefore, we conducted an experiment about the effect of four types of fuel to the distance traveled by the motorcycle media (Mega Pro). The experiments were done by using a factorial design with a single factor (ANOVA), on a different day in the implementation of the experiment as a nuisance factor. From the results of this research, we know that the fuel type affects to vehicle mileage. The fuel that has the longest mileage is Pertamax Plus. Get PDFThis study investigates the causal links between price of styrene butadiene latex (SBL) another domestic & external variables such as price of Styrene Butadiene Latex in China (SBLC), Crude Oil Price (OIL), Coated Paper Price in Indonesia (CPPI), supply (SUPP), demand (DMD), Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI), price of styrene (STY) and price of butadiene (BTD) during the period 1995 – 2011 on the basis of monthly. Furthermore, the Johansen VAR-based cointegration technique was applied to examine the sensitivity of price of SB Latex to changes in China styrene butadiene latex price (SBLC), crude oil price (OIL), Indonesia coated paper price (CPPI), supply, demand, Herfindahl-Hirschman Index (HHI), price of styrene and price of butadiene in the long run on while the short-run dynamics was checked by using a vector error correction model (VECM) include unit root test, pairwise Granger causality test,impulse response function (IRF) and forecast variance decomposition (FVD). Results from Augmented Dickey Fuller (ADF) or unit root test showed evidence stationarities whole variables of first difference (I). The Granger pairwise causality test revealed a bilateral causality reach 38.89 %, directional reach 22.22 % from Johansen test found out seven cointegration of price of SBL.Keywords: Cointegration, Granger Causality, VECM, demand SBL and Crude Oil Price

The purpose of this study is to planning and controlling the inventory of raw materials with the lowest cost. The research is conducted to develop demand forecast in 2016, to develop the aggregate planning using LINGO software, then continued in the design of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirement Planning (MRP). This research discusses the comparison of several methods of Lot Sizing in MRP, such as the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Period Order Quantity (POQ) and Least Total Cost (LTC). Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Fasa Crystoballite Berbasis Silika Sekam Padi dengan Metode Sintering (Solid State)
Get PDFThis study was carried out to characterize the formation of crystoballite crystall of silica extracted from rice husk by sintering. Extraction of silica using 5% KOH and 10% HCl solution was sintered at 750, 900, 1000,and 1100 C. The products were characterised in term of functional groups, microstructure and structure (FTIR, SEM and XRD). Characterisation of the silica using FTIR shows the presence of silanol and siloxane. XRD results confirmed that silica amorph was formed at 750C, through the intermediate formation of crystoballite 900, 1000, and 1100C. The formation of crystoballite structure increases with increasing temperature of sintering, which confirms the presence of regular particle size using SEM analysis.Keywords: Rice Husk, Silica, Crystoballite, FTIR, SEM and XR

In the case of the process of door to door or door to port, overloaded force clients should reduce the number of items that must be sent in order to fit with container capacity. While less than the maximum load that makes a lot of wasted container space volume that causes the client to fill it with stuff that does not exist in the delivery plan or let it remain fully charged with the costs of ineffective. The purpose of this field study is to maximize the use of volume of space in the container with the method of hill-climbing algorithm and utilize software programs created with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Processing the data shows that during the delivery of goods, the utilization rate of container volume ranges from 44.185% to 72.630%. By using optimization calculation based on hill-climbing algorithm in the program made, the utilization rate of container volume can be optimized from the original 66.563% to 91.895% with an increase of 25.332%.Keywords: Supply Chain, Hill-Climbing Algorithm, Optimizatio

Consumers of these companies come from various circles, such as Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. The management intended to give comfort to motorcycle users. But it is undeniable that the users often feel the deficiency in service provided by the company. Therefore, there needs to analyze important analyze the attributes that have not met expectations of the user. The results of the analysis will be used to provide a solution for PT X Indonesia. in this paper, will use the grey relation analysis method. Grey relation analysis is a weighting method to determine the performance attributes. This method uses a questionnaire to obtain answers from the user. Based on the method selected five attributes that represent the security in the parking area, comfort a canopy (roof guards), and the services at the counter. This paper uses three approach analysis, such as cause analysis, system simulation, and value stream mapping service. The results of this research is an increase in the number of officers watching, installation, CCTV images, the use of a new payment system that is tapping card, use canopy to pedestrian path on the area in the parking lot and an increase in the number of the counter.Keywords: PT.
