Nitridasi Bahan Cor-Ten Untuk Meningkatkan Kekerasan dan Ketahanan Korosi Suhu Tinggi
Samples of Cor-Ten steels have been subjected to surface treatment, by coating Al and followed by nitridation. High-temperature corrosion tests were carried out using a Thermo Gravimetry Analysis / Magnetic Suspension Balance (TGA/MSB). The Nitridation process was performed at 550°C for 3, 5, 4, 7 and 20 hours under flowing N2 and NH3 gases. Corrosion tests were performed for 50 hours at 650°C. After the oxidation, sample were characterized using X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) to determine the crystal structure, and then using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to observe the microstructure and hardness of the alloys by aloowing Micro Hardness Tester. It can be concluded that sample nitridized for 5 hours showed the lowest corrosion rate or highest corrosion resistance, due to the corrosion barrier was Al2O3 protective layer. The hardness of Cor-Ten increased from 137 VHN to 340VHN (after nitridation), and to 744 VHN after Al deposition and nitridation for 5 hours. The increase of hardness might be associated with the formation of aluminum nitride. Keywords: Al Deposition, Corrosion Resistant, Cor-Ten, Nitridation, TGA/MSB, XRD, SE
Perencanaan dan Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Benang dengan Lot Sizing Economic Order Quantity
The object of this study is the inventory system of manufacturing companies with sock products in Tangerang, Banten. Types of socks produced are plain white socks, black socks, and small socks. This study aims to determine the description of the planning and control of raw material inventory and find out how much raw materials to be prepared as well as the total cost of production produced by applying the method of Material Requirement Planning from the production process. In its production activities, the company uses 4 main raw materials making white socks namely Polyester White yarn, Spandex, Nylon, and Rubber. In one day, production produces 3 dozen socks. The raw materials used are 1 cone yarn for 2.5 dozen. So to produce 3 dozen socks a day, it takes 1.2 cone threads. From the analysis, it is known that the booking fee is Rp.28000 per message and the storage fee is Rp.2000 per unit per year. Thus the value of economic needs or Economic Order Quantity generated is 157 units. Thus, for Polyester White yarn material (75%) requires 47.1 cones, Spandex yarn (15%) requires 9,42 cones, nylon yarn (5%) and rubber yarn (5%) equally require 3.14 cone. Set up fee Rp.156586 while the storage fee Rp.157000 so the total cost Rp.313586.Keywords: Socks, Material Requirement Planning, Economic Quantit

Implementasi Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan Fuzzy Logic sebagai Program Pengendalian Kualitas
PT SKF Indonesia which is one of the largest manufacturing companies in Indonesia produced various types of Bearing 6201. There are many failures in the production process that reduces the function of Bearing. To be able to meet consumer desires and to prevent or eliminate failures, companies need to make improvement programs that can minimize the failure rate which is the implementation of Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and the use of fuzzy logic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the proportion of defects and process capability in assembly, analyzing potential failures, identify root causes of defects, and calculate the value of the highest RPN. In addition, to create improvement plans based on the highest RPN. The data used based on data occurred during October 2010. Based on the data processing using fuzzy FMEA method, found that the failure rate of occurrence of defects per day amounted to 1.005%. For the Cp value is equal to 1.29 and Cpk of 1.22. Types of failures that occur in the process are Noise, Shoemark, Black Surface and Wedge. RPN values obtained from the results using conventional methods and fuzzy FMEA is basically the same. From the results obtained the highest ranking RPN calculation for this type of failure Noise. To seek improvements in the quality of disability Noise, prepared improvement plans using 5W-1H for the human, material, environment, methods, and machinery. Improvement plans to minimize the amount of noise is to give training to the employees. There is need for the inspection process by sampling the incoming raw materials to add lights at points that are important in the production room, always pay attention when the lamp is die and replace it with a new, in the preparation of OR and IR components must be aligned, sticking posters in the work area that contains the image the correct way up, schedule an examination 1 week once the machine is known engine or not feasible to use, and optimize preventive maintenance. Keywords: Failure Process, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Fuzzy Logic, Fuzzy FMEA, RP
Analisis Pengaruh Faktor Stres terhadap Motivasi Pekerja
The problem of stress is sometimes unconsciously influence the way a worker thinks. Job stress can have a positive or negative impact for a worker. If excessive stress it will have negative and if the stress is still within normal limits, then the stress can trigger the motivation of workers. In this research, it will be discussed will be the relationship between stress and worker motivation whether significant or not, and will also be discussed about the influence of both stress factors related to the organization or not. Stress factors associated with organizations that are determined in this research are the workload and work environment. Stress factors that are not related to the organization is the type of personality and family. The workload is too heavy will make workers become frustrated and lose motivation of workers. Vice versa if the workload is too light then the worker will experience a saturation that is also not motivated to work. This research will also be discussed further factor which affects the motivation of workers. Research suggests that stress variables have a significant relationship with motivation variables. This is done with regression testing and also correlation with several methods. Figures generated R square is for 0.504 which means the 50.4% contribution in terms of stress variables affecting motivation variable while 49.6% influenced other factors. The research results are obtained also found that internal stress factors or office stress factors related to the organization over affect the motivation of workers rather than stress factors unrelated to the organization. It also found that more office internal stress factors play a role in influencing workers' job stress. In addition, correlation of test results found places correlation between workload and working environment with the motivation was for 0.708 and for the type of personality and family is at 0.485 so that internal stress factors play a role in affecting the office worker motivation
Penentuan Sistem Kerja Lift Berdasarkan Kecepatan Angkut dengan Menggunakan Simulasi ProModel (Studi Pada Sarana Lift di Universitas Bunda Mulia)
The purpose of this study is to find the ideal system run for passengers elevators facilities, in term of passengers arrivals, load capacity, in and out passengers distribution to each floor, and layout of classrooms in Bunda Mulia University’s building. Four (4) models of simulations were developed in this research. The four models are: the standard (full floor services of elevators), Model 1 (odd and even services of the elevators), Model 2 (partial and full services of elevators), and model 3 (partial services of elevators). This study found two conditions. Condition 1, based on normal season with the average arrivals distribution passengers of 300 peoples / hour, the best system run of elevator passengers service is the standard model with an average waiting time of 3.88 minutes. The second conditions- with the level of infinite arrivals (unlimited) - provides Model 1 (odd and even services) as the best result), with an average waiting time of 19.26 minutes. Keywords: Simulation, Promodel, Passengers Elevator Mod
