IMPLEMENTASI PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI ZOOM DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK KELAS V SD ISLAM AL-AZHAR 21 PONTIANAK
Get PDFAbstractThis study aims to describe the preparation, implementation, and barriers to implementing the zoom meeting application in class V thematic learning at Al-Azhar 21 Islamic Elementary School Pontianak. The research method used is qualitative research. The data sources of this research are documentation related to thematic learning through zoom meetings, observation results from the documentation and the results of interviews with teachers. Data collection technique This research is documentation, interviews and observations. Research result shows that the preparations made have been good because they meet the components preparation of learning through a zoom meeting, namely the Implementation Plan Learning, preparing learning materials, preparing methods learning that will be used, determine the type of learning media, and set up a meeting link. Likewise with the implementation of learning through the zoom meeting this went well because it was appropriate between RPP and implementation. Barriers to learning through zoom meeting, which is an unstable network, student discipline in learning, as well as the resilience of students when learning.Keywords: Implementation, Thematic Learning, , Zoom Meeting

Get PDFAbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement of social skills through the traditional game of spanking for children aged 5-6 years at the Santa Gemma Sekadau Kindergarten. The reason or the importance of researchers conducting research on improving social skills through traditional jumping spans is to find out how children's social skills increase when the learning method is applied through traditional games of spanning jumps at Santa Gemma Sekadau Kindergarten. The method used is descriptive method with the type of research used is classroom action research. The source of the data for this research was the 8 students of the B4 Kindergarten Santa Gemma Sekadau group. The collaborators in this study were the class B4 teacher, which consisted of 1 person. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and document studies. The instrument of data collection was through observation sheets, and documentation. The results of the study show (1) Lesson planning is shown when the teacher can prepare lesson plans well. (2) The implementation of learning is shown when the teacher can carry out learning well in accordance with the plans that have been made. (3) The improvement of children's social skills is shown when children want to communicate and socialize, share, cooperate, and participate when playing with their friends.Keywords: Social Skills, Traditional Game of Jump Jengka
PENGARUH PENDAPATAN PETANI KARET TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DI DESA SEMUNTAI KECAMATAN SEPAUK KABUPATEN SINTANG
Get PDFAbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of rubber farmers' income on the welfare of the community in Semuntai Village, Sepauk District, Sintang Regency. The type of research approach used is quantitative research with survey methods in the form of relationship studies/correlation studies. The data sources of this research are rubber farmers in Semuntai Village with a sample of 106 respondents. Data collection techniques used in this research are indirect communication techniques and documentary study techniques. Data collection tools used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument is validity test and reliability test. The results showed (1) the average income of rubber farmers was included in the medium income group with the average income received by rubber farmers in one month of IDR 1,500,000 – IDR 2,500,000 and included in the good category with a percentage of 81.06%. (2) community welfare is included in the good category with a percentage of 80.77% in terms of children's education, health, housing, information and communication technology. (3) the income of rubber farmers has a significant effect on the welfare of the community by 89.5% while 10.5% is influenced by other variables or factors that are not investigated further.Keywords: Rubber Farmer Income, Community Welfar
THE TEACHING AND LEARNING MODELS APPLIED BY THE ENGLISH TEACHER IN TEACHING ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to describe teaching and learning models applied by the teacher in EFL teaching. The researcher conducted a descriptive study in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya by involving an English teacher. In collecting research data, classroom observation and interview were conducted to identify teaching and learning models. The result revealed that teaching and learning model the teacher used were Discovery Learning and Inquiry-Based Learning. The teacher did not follow the model steps consistently but the teacher still followed the Scientific Approach. The teacher applied the teaching and learning models to help the students to become more active during the learning process and it had been proven that these activities could help teacher and students in EFL teaching and learning

Get PDFAbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational climate andcompensation on the work commitment of honorary teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta,Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. Testing data analysis using Statistical Product andService Solution (SPSS) ver.25 for windows. The techniques used are validity, reliability, datanormality test, data linearity test, homogeneity test, correlation analysis, regression analysis,T test and F test, and statistical hypothesis testing. The conclusion of this study is that theorganizational climate (X1) is 7.723 and the work commitment of honorary teachers (X2) is7.533 and (X1) and (X2) to (Y) is 55.8% and 44.2% can be declared influential. To improvethe organizational climate, it is expected that the head of madrasah aliyah, able to holddiscussions, training, can maintain or increase compensation for honorary teachers, andincrease work commitment for honorary teachers, madrasah principals are able to providemotivation to the teacher assembly.Keywords: Organizational Climate, Compensation, Commitmen

Get PDFAbstractThis studi aims to describe the process of ilmpementing thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors for thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is included in the descriptive type of qualitative research. The data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation, and documentation. The qualitative data analysis technique used is the Miles and Hubermen interactive model. To test the credibility of the data one the results of the study using technical triangulation and soure triangulation. The results of the analysis show that the process of implementing thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out by online and offline distance learning for class IV and class II students using the WhattsApp application as the main medium in communicating and providing materials and school assignments.Supporting factors during thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely, the exixtence of adequate facilities and infrastructure, the use of learning media, as well as support from parents, as for the inhibiting factors for thematic learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely, limited facilities and infrastructure owned by students, difficulties in using learning media, lack of understanding of students on learning materials, parents who are busy working, and discipline of students/parents.Keyword : Analysis, Covid-19 Pandemic, Thematic Learnin
AN ANALYSIS OF ILLOCUTIONARY ACTS IN “WONDER” NOVEL BY R. J. PALACIO
Get PDFAbstractThis research aimed to identify the type of illocutionary acts and classify the category of speech acts dominantly used by the characters in performing their illocutionary acts in “Wonder” novel by R. J. Palacio, and to find out the dominant type of speech act used to display all illocutionary acts. Based on Searle’s theory, the researcher used descriptive qualitative research to analyze utterances taken from the novel through observation limited by home and school settings and role relationships. The researcher took five parts with 13 characters. The data analysis started by observing the conversation, analyzing and classifying the utterances into the types of illocutionary acts, then classifying and calculating the speech acts category. The findings showed three types of illocutionary acts used by the characters in the novel. They are directive, commissive, and expressive. Directive is the most dominant illocutionary type used by the characters in the novel, with seven utterances in conversation. These ten utterances also balanced the category of speech acts, five utterances of direct and five utterances of indirect speech acts.Keywords: Analysis Research, Illocutionary Acts, Novel Wonder, R. Get PDFMulticultural education among the students of Junior High School 7 SATAP KENDAWANG is of low quality because there are many differences between cultures. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the importance of multicultural and learning multicultural education based on local wisdom. The research approach used is qualitative by conducting a literature review. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative research method. The instrument in this study was a written interview that was shared with several students. The number of participants in this study was 30 students. The data analysis technique is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that all forms of differences found in Indonesia, don’t become something dangerous if only multicultural education based on local wisdom is always delivered in formal, nonformal, and informal education. Teachers have a ride as a learning infrastructure to design a learning process that integrates multicultural education. To provide understanding for the community in general related to the importance of maintaining equity, diversity, and local wisdom values is to apply multicultural education based on local wisdom from an early age to students as the next generation

No full textThis study aims to determine associative social interaction through social studies learning in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila. The purpose of this study was to determine the planning and implementation of associative social interactions among students through social studies learning. This research approach is qualitative with descriptive method. Data collection techniques are: observation, interviews and document analysis. Data analysis techniques with data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification. The technique of testing the validity of the data is using triangulation. The number of participants in this study were 33 students in class VIIID of SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila. The results showed that in learning planning, the teacher prepares a Social Science Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in which there is associative social interaction, namely in the form of cooperation that occurs between individuals and individuals and groups with groups during group discussions and forms of accommodation which consist of compromise and tolerance. The results of research regarding the implementation of associative social interaction from the results of interviews and observations are as follows: (1) students cooperate with each other to solve problems in groups, (2) students compromise with each other to negotiate answers that will be used as solutions to answer problems and ( 3) students show tolerance by respecting each other's opinions even though their opinions are different from others

Get PDFAbstractThe purpose of this study was to see if there was a relationship between Body Mass Index and Macro Nutrient Intake on physical activity in the 2019 Physical Education FKIP UNTAN students. After the data is collected, the data is tabulated, calculated, and then analyzed. which will later be carried out between body mass index, macronutrient intake and physical activity of the 2019 Physical Education FKIP UNTAN students. This research is a correlational quantitative researcp. The sample in this study was the 2019 Physical Education FKIP UNTAN students who collected 20 students. Data analysis using prerequisite test, namely normality test and linearity test, obtained data with normal and linear distribution. So the correlation test uses the product moment formula. From the results of the Body Mass Index and Macro Nutrient Intake scores on physical activity, from these results there is a positive relationship between body mass index and macronutrient intake on physical activity in the 2019 Physical Education FKIP UNTAN students. Thus, it can be interpreted that someone who has a good body mass index and good nutritional intake also increases that person's physical activity.Keywords: BMI, Macro Nutrient Intake, Physical Activit
