Get PDFThe aim of this study was to determine ``study habits of male and female students in sociology subjects in class XI IIS 4 SMAN 9 Pontianak''. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive survey. The data sources for this survey were sociology teachers and students assigned to SMAN 9 Pontianak. Data collection techniques in this study were by observation, interviews, and documentation, and the tools used were observational evidence, interview evidence, and documentation tools. Data analysis for this study was presented descriptively with the help of three informants. 1. Class XI IIS 4 SMAN 9 Study Habits of Male Students in Pontianak According to the indicators, none of the male students had apparently good study habits. 2. Study Habits of Female Students in Class XI IIS 4 of SMAN 9 Pontianak has developed good study habits based on the following indicators. c) Always study until you understand and complete it. PENGEMBANGAN TES ONLINE MENGGUNAKAN GNOMIO DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI (TIK) PADA SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to produce an online test using gnomio in ICT learning for high school students. To achieve the research objectives, the Research and Development (R&D) method was used with the development design procedure using Borg and Gall. The research instrument uses documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques for validation of material and media experts and user trials using descriptive statistics. The results of the research and development trial show that the online test using gnomio is proven to be feasible to use as an online test using gnomio. The percentage of response values in the first stage of the trial was 78.75% with the "Positive" criteria, the percentage of the response values in the second stage of the trial was 84.38% with the "Positive" criteria, and the percentage of the response values in the field trials was 91.33%. with the criteria of "Very Positive". From the results of research and development of online tests using Gnomio, it is very helpful in conducting online test implementation and assessment. The conclusion of this study is that through the development of online tests using Gnomio for high school students, it is very helpful in the implementation of learning evaluation media in the form of online tests that can be run either on computer or smartphone media

STUDI KOMPARATIF KECENDERUNGAN IMPULSIVE BUYING ANTARA MASYARAKAT PERKOTAAN DENGAN MASYARAKAT PERDESAAN PADA MASA PANDEMI.
Get PDFThis research aims to find out the differences in impulsive buying tendencies between urban communities and rural communities during the pandemic. The method used is a comparative descriptive research method using inferential statistical analysis techniques. The source of this research data is the urban community, which is located in Kuala Dua and the rural community, which is located in the seburing village. Data collection in this study was obtained from the results of a questionnaire distributed by researchers to respondents. The hypothesis testing used in this study is to use a t test which shows that the hypothesis test results use an independent sample t-test, that the calculated value > ttabel and the sig value. (2-tailed) 0.041 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the tendency to impulsive buying between urban communities and rural communities during the pandemic. As for the differences based on income earned by consumers, basically this study took a sample of respondents who were 23 years old and above and who already had their own income.
IMPROVING STUDENTS’ READING ABILITY BY USING WALL CHART
Get PDFThe aim of this research was to improve students’ reading ability by using wall chart. The research was done in two cycles, it was a classroom action research. The subject for this research was the eleventh-grade students in class XI MIA B. The writer observed students’ improvement in reading ability by collecting data through observation checklist field notes and multiple choices test. The students’ attitude towards the learning process was gathered by observasional checklist and fieldnotes. The data of students’ reading ability was obtained by the students test which was assessed through scoring rubric. The result showed that the students’ problem in reading beside the comprehension was in their motivation. Furthermore, the students’ reading ability and students’ interest in learning process of reading improved. It was proven by the students’ achievement test and also the students’ enthusiasm in doing the activities during the teaching and learning process used wall chart. In conclusion, the media was able in improving the students’ reading ability in Analytical Exposition Text. The writer hopes that what the writer has done will give the English teacher inspiration to conduct wall chart in the classroom

Get PDFWhen learning Mandarin, students must recognize and memorize Mandarin vocabulary to express fluently, but most junior high school students find it difficult to memorize Mandarin vocabulary. After the teacher explained the lesson, the students also don't want to do exercises because they are too stressed, tired, bored, and have trouble concentrating. With the development of network technology, teachers must give students more interesting practice methods, such as using WordWall. In order to find out whether the use of WordWall as a practice tool can improve the Mandarin vocabulary memory skill of students in the Mandarin Club extracurricular of the 17th school of Pontianak Junior High School, this study used experimental method and testing method. According to the results of this study, the average score of students before using WordWall was 54,4. The average score of students after using WordWall is 82,3. Therefore, the use of WordWall can help students improve the memory skill of Mandarin vocabulary

Get PDFNutrition education needs to be carried out in kindergarten, one of which is a nutritious food program through eating together. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of a nutritious food program through eating together in group B2 TK Mujahidin 2, East Pontianak. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The subjects in the study were the head of the Mujahidin 2 Kindergarten, the teacher in group B2, and the parents in group B2. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed: 1) Program preparation, namely planning food processing schedules, budget funds facilities and infrastructure. 2) Program implementation, namely the implementation of food processing processed by parents, and the implementation of eating events in class, namely eating activities. 3) Program supervision, namely supervision of the implementation of eating events in class. 4) Program assessment, where the teacher discusses the food menu and observes the types of food that children eat. Thus, the implementation of a nutritious food program through eating together for group B2 children at Mujahidin 2 Kindergarten in East Pontianak can be a planning strategy for the implementation of a nutritious food program

The purpose of learning to write is to foster students so that they have good writing skills, so that students are expected to be able to express ideas and opinions well in writing. One of the writing skills is writing poetry. Writing poetry will broaden knowledge, insight, students can reflect on their ideas and provide experiences from the results of the poetry that is read or written. In this connection, the researcher focused on analyzing poetry by class x students of SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. This study aims to describe the physical and mental elements of students' poetry. The method used in this research is descriptive method with the form of qualitative research. The technique used in this research is the students' poetry. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the suggestions that can be given are the teacher in the field of study to further improve the student's poetry writing ability, the teacher should provide learning that is carried out in a way or with new methods and can foster good interest which can further improve students' abilities in writing poetry

This type of research uses qualitative research. The method used in this qualitative research is descriptive method. Sources of data in this study in the form of observations and interviews with several informants such as the Head of the Tourism Office, Ecotourism Managers, people living around ecotourism and visitors. The data was then taken using direct field observation techniques and in-depth interviews with informants. The data is then collected, managed and analysed. The results show that the potential factor has development every year as well as managers and services as well as physical changes in Telok mangrove ecotourism, but the visitor factor decreases every year due to the covid 19 pandemic
