KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA CEPAT PESERTA DIDIK KELAS X SMA NEGERI 4 PONTIANAK
This study aims to analyze the speed of reading ability of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive to describe the ability of students in speed reading, with the form of research that is qualitative. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class X G SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. The data obtained is the result of the reading speed of students in the discourse that has been given in the form of speed of reading ability test results, determining the main idea of paragraphs, and understanding the content of the discourse. The results of the analysis of the speed of reading ability of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak based on the ideal speed category for high school students are 14 students who have speeds below average, people with average / ideal speed, and 15 people above average. Furthermore, the results of determining the main idea of the students' paragraph were three people got good grades (B), nine people got enough marks (C), and 16 people got less marks (D). Finally, the results of the analysis of the ability to understand the content of discourse of grade X students of SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak were four people who got a very good grade category (A), 10 people got a good grade category (B), four people 129 got a sufficient score category (C), and 16 people got a less score category (D)
EUFEMISME DALAM CERAMAH USTADZ ABDUL SOMAD PADA CHANNEL YOUTUBE USTADZ ABDUL SOMAD OFFICIAL (KAJIAN SEMANTIK)
This study aims to find out the forms of euphemisms, the benefits of euphemisms in Ustad Abdul Somad's lectures on Ustad Abdul Somad's Youtube Channel and how they are implemented in learning at school. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The data collection technique used in this research is using documentary study techniques. This research produced 17 data, 1) 2 data used for abbreviations, 11 data for loan words, 2 data for foreign terms, 2 data for periphrases. Thus the form of euphemism that is more often used by Ustad Abdul Somad in lectures on Ustad Abdul Somad's Youtube Channel is the use of borrowed words. Then 2) for politeness and comfort as much as 6 data, To disguise the meaning as much as 6 data, To reduce embarrassment as much as 4 data, To carry out religious orders as much as 1 data. Thus the benefits of using euphemisms in Ustad Abdul Somad's lectures on the YouTube Channel Ustad Abdul Somad more often use euphemisms to disguise meaning as an effort to be polite in language
ANALISIS KONDISI PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA MANDARIN PADA SEKOLAH TAMAN KANAK-KANAK BILINGUAL DI PONTIANAK (Studi Kasus pada Taman Kanak-Kanak Kinderfield dan Taman Kanak-Kanak Adicita Mulia)
To understand the process of learning Mandarin in Pontianak Bilingual Kindergarten, the author took Kinderfield Kindergarten and Adicita Mulia Kindergarten as research objects. The research methods used were purpose sampling, interviews and observations. The author will analyze relevant learning materials, learning objectives, learning evaluation, learning environment and learning methods to determine the situation of learning Mandarin in kindergartens in Pontianak. According to the results of data analysis, Mandarin classes are only given once a week at school. Because there is less time to learn Mandarin, the teacher only introduces everyday vocabulary, the aim is for students to understand the meaning of everyday Mandarin vocabulary. Teachers use translation methods, game methods, and object methods to explain vocabulary. Pontianak Bilingual Kindergarten uses various teaching methods to make the class more active, such as using children's songs, playing games together, etc. so that it can increase children's interest in learning and not put too much pressure on children. Students read the vocabulary words one by one and the teacher will evaluate their learning, to see if students have made progress in Mandarin and what help they still need
PENGARUH SPORT MASSAGE TERHADAP RECOVERY ATLET PANJAT TEBING
The issue addressed in this research is the condition of rock climbing athletes in the speed discipline world record who have not fully recovered, especially muscle fatigue due to previous intense training sessions. This muscle fatigue condition impacts subsequent training sessions, resulting in athletes being less optimal in executing the program provided by the coach. The objective of this research is to determine the effect of sports massage on the recovery of rock climbing athletes in the speed discipline world record. The population of this study consists of 5 individuals. The sample in this research was selected using total sampling. The research method employed is an experimental method with the One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The analysis results indicate a significant influence of sports massage in accelerating the recovery of rock climbing athletes. From the t-test, it can be observed that the calculated t-value (7.38) is greater than the tabulated t-value (2.776), with an increase in percentage by 35%. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of sports massage in expediting the recovery of rock climbing athletes

This research aims to describe the forms of code mixing and code switching that occur in the learning process at SMP Negeri 1 Terentang. Analyze data related to forms of code mixing and code switching, types of code mixing and code switching, and analyze the factors that influence them. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. The data used in this research are speech uttered by teachers and students in the form of words, phrases and sentences related to code mixing and code switching. Data collection techniques include observation, recording techniques and note-taking techniques. The technique for testing the validity of the data is the technique of diligent observation and adequacy of references. This research produced a form of code mixing in 52 conversations, resulting in 77 code mixing data, with details of 45 word form data, 30 phrase form data, and 2 clause form data; 67 code mixed data into (Inner Code Mixing), 7 code mixed data out (Outer Code Mixing) and 3 mixed code mixed data(Hybrid Code Mixing); The code switching data contained in 10 conversations obtained 53 data in the form of code switching, with details of 7 data in the form of words and 46 data in the form of sentences. The 10 conversations were divided into two, namely 2 permanent code switches and 8 temporary code switches. All code switching data obtained includes inward code switching (Internal Code Switching). Social factors that influence code mixing and code switching are divided into four, namely social status, education level, age, and gender. There are five factors that influence the use of code mixing, including; (1) the speaker's personal and conversation factors 29 data, (2) the presence of a third speaker 2 data, (3) the interlocutor factor 3 data, (4) the prestige factor 7 data, (5) the subject matter factor 11 data; The factors that influence the use of code switching are 2 speaker factor data, 3 interlocutor factor data, and 5 conversation topic and situation factor data
ANALISIS HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA DITINJAU DARI SELF CONFIDENCE
This research aims to analyze students' mathematics learning outcomes in terms of their level of self-confidence. The type of research that will be used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by administering non-test and test instruments. The non-test instrument is in the form of administering a self-confidence questionnaire. The test instrument is in the form of questions with 5 multiple choice questions and 3 description questions. The subjects of this research were 15 class XI SMAIT Az-Zuhra students. Data analysis was carried out using Excel by grouping students' self-confidence levels and calculating students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of this research show that student self-confidence and mathematics learning outcomes are related. Students in the high self-confidence group had an average percentage of 20%, students in the moderate self-confidence group had an average percentage of 60%, and students in the low self-confidence group had an average percentage of 20%
VALIDASI AHLI TERHADAP BUKU AJAR PROJEK IPAS UNTUK PESERTA DIDIK FASE E
The IPAS Project for phase E students at vocational high school is a project-based subject that integrates natural and social sciences to explain phenomena in life scientifically. IPAS Project learning should use project-based learning methods. Project-based learning needs to be supported by learning media such as textbook. This research was conducted to describe the suitability of the IPAS Project textbook based on the expert validation. The research method used is development research which refers to the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). In this research, the stages carried out were analyze, design, and develop. Researchers used validation sheets which prepared based on the expertise of each validator. The data that has been collected is scores and suggestions from the three validators. The score data from each validator was calculated as an average percentage and then interpreted into four categories: very worthy/very good, decent/good, less worthy/sufficient, or not worthy/inadequate. The results show that the IPAS Project textbook developed meets the very worthy/very good category with the percentage of material expert, learning media expert, and teacher respectively being 79,2%; 80,0%; and 95,3%. These results indicate that the textbook developed can be used by stage E students
MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BOLA VOLI BERBASIS WEB (WORD ELECTRIC BROWSER) UNTUK SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS
The problem of this research is the lack of use of interactive learning media in the learning process of physical education, especially volleyball. The purpose of the research is to create interesting, innovative, and easy-to-understand learning media, and to keep up with technological advances, especially high school volleyball material. This type of research uses the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE approach with the stages of analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were students and teachers of SMA N 3 Pontianak, with random sampling technique. The results of the study from the WEB page show that this learning media is interesting, innovative, and easy to understand. The media were validated and tested by experts, from media experts it showed 97.5% and from material experts it showed 87.5%, so that both were categorized as very valid, as well as conducting a feasibility test for students and teachers, showing the learning media studied were categorized as very high with 82.75 % and categorized as high with 77.97%. It can be concluded that the WEB-Based Learning Media product is "valid", accepted and suitable for use in the learning process in schools
PENGARUH TINGKAT PENDAPATAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP KEINGINAN PESERTA DIDIK MELANJUTKAN KE PERGURUAN TINGGI
Education is a learning experience and the knowledge gained in a school environment lasts throughout life. From the beginning, education plays a role in deciding students' desires to continue to higher education with encouragement and desires from students and the surrounding environment. From this desire arises their interest in continuing their higher education so that they are interested in continuing an education that is higher than their previous education. This research aims to determine the level of parental income regarding students' desire to go to college at Islamic High School Bawari Pontianak. The type and design of this research is quantitative descriptive. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant influence between parents' income on interest in continuing their studies at tertiary level. Parental income in increasing students' interest in continuing their education to college was 10.3% while the remaining 89.7% was influenced by other variables. The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence between parents' income on the desire to continue their studies at tertiary level
ESCALATING VOCABULARY MASTERY: HOW EFFECTIVE IS SPOTIFY’S SONG LIRYCS FEATURE?
This research aimed: 1) to compare vocabulary mastery of experimental and controlled groups students after the treatment, 2) to see the difference gained by the two groups in terms of their vocabulary achievement, and 3) to measure how effective song lyrics feature was, available on Spotify, in the development of students’ vocabulary mastery. There were two classes of 8th graders of Jagakarsa junior high school, Jakarta participated as the sample in this study, classified into experimental and controlled groups. A total number of 28 students occupied each of the class. The data were collected by using 30 multiple-choice questions of vocabulary pre- and post-tests. This research applied quantitative method. Thus, in the analysis data, statistical formula of t-test and effect size tests were used. The results of the computation revealed: 1) in the average, experimental group students outperformed controlled group ones in which these students’ vocabulary achievement escalated up to 22.04 points while the controlled group only increased 9.64 points; 2) The statistical analysis of t-test confirmed that t0 0.05. Thus, these indicated that there was no difference in the average score achieved by experimental and controlled classes, hence, H0 was accepted. 3) In terms of its effectiveness, the used of songs’ lyrics on Spotify as teaching and learning media was not contributed fully towards students’ vocabulary mastery; this was showed by the value of 0.518 (moderate level) from the effect size test. This research work concluded that songs’ lyrics on Spotify was not really effective in improving students’ vocabulary mastery
