A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY ON ALTRUISM OF GOOD DINOSAUR MOVIE
Get PDFThis research aims to describe the dominant altruism values of the Good Dinosaur movie and investigate the lessons of the Good Dinosaur movie for learning. The form of this research is qualitative research. The method used is the descriptive method. The technique of data collecting was the documentation technique. The technique of data analysis was descriptive analysis. The tools for data collecting were observation tables and documents. The result of this research showed there were 38 utterances of altruism values in Good Dinosaur Movie. Altruistic values appeared 9 times. Altruistic behavior appeared 18 times. Altruism empathy appeared 11 times. The dominant altruism in Good Dinosaur Movie was altruistic behavior. The lesson that can be learned from that movie was to be humble to everyone. It should be supported by other people in whatever situation. Do not ever underestimate other people. Helping people without getting a reward is an important thing in life
METODE SUGESTOPEDIA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 6 SUNGAI RAYA
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Suggestopedia learning method to improve the poetry writing skills of grade 8 students of SMP Negeri 6 Sungai Raya in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research findings are based on a teacher using the Teacher Performance Assessment Tool (IPKG) and his observations of students in two learning cycles. Based on learning practice it is proven that this method can increase the value of students' poetry writing skills, with an average score of 67.62 for the first rubric of cycle I compared to the previous rubric. The previous cycle corresponded to an average value of 62. Final Results The average value of cycle II reached 74.56 above the average value of cycle I. However, in cycle II the average value was 79.82 compared to the value of cycle 1 and increased by 16 .63 compared to pre-cycle values. The percentage of completeness in cycle II has also reached an indicator of success in class learning, namely 75% of the total number of students in the class

Get PDFThis study aims to describe the teacher's role in introducing balanced nutritious food to children aged 5-6 years at PGRI Karya Nilam Kindergarten, Ketapang Regency. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data source for this study was the B1 group teacher and the data consisted of observation sheets and the results of interviews with B1 group teachers as well as documentation of learning activities in class B1. The results of the study show: 1. The role as an inspiration in introducing balanced nutritious food, namely, the teacher sets an example and becomes a role model for children, for example, the teacher shows a good example to children with habituation, such as showing nutritious food supplies, showing types of balanced nutritious food, and shows people eating a nutritionally balanced diet; 2. The role of the teacher as a motivator in introducing balanced nutritious food to children, namely, providing encouragement and motivation to children so that children are always enthusiastic about learning, besides that the teacher also gives praise to children such as applause "thumbs up" praise if the child brings food supplies healthy at school; 3. The role of the teacher as a facilitator in the introduction of balanced nutritious food, namely, the teacher provides learning facilities to children with various interesting media in the form of healthy food story books, songs and videos regarding the introduction of balanced nutritious food

Get PDFThe objective of this research determine the utilization of waste from palm oil processing at PT. Fajar Saudara Kusuma in Sebawi Village,Sebawi Sub-District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The research method used in this study is the traditional case styudy method. The data collection technique in this study used a triangulation technique, which is a combination of observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data collect with laptop and observation sheets, cameras and interview guidelines. Data analysis wear the Miles and Huberman design which be composed of data reduction, data presentment, and inference drawing. The out put showed that (1) the utilization of the waste used was in the form of solid waste and liquid waste, the solid waste used were shells, empty leaves and fibers, while the liquid waste itself was liquid waste originating from palm oil processing. (2) the form of utilization of palm oil fibers and shells is used as fuel for steam boilers as a resource of electrical force for the palm oil processing process at PT. Fajar Saudara Kusuma, while the empty leaves used as soil fertilizer and processed to form ash. Liquid waste is used as soil fertilizer for oil palm plantations in the company's plantations

Get PDFIn Chinese teaching, there are three factors: teachers, students, and teaching materials. In the process of teaching Chinese, textbooks are one of the most important factors. Textbooks are the bridge connecting teachers and students. According to the ability of the students, it is very important to choose the right teaching materials. The purpose of this study is to compare the 2000 publication and the 2007 publication of Hanyu 2 published by Jinan University to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the textbook so that teachers can utilize the textbook to stimulate students' interest and thinking, adjust their teaching methods, and improve the quality of learning. The main research object is the twenty six student of Suster junior high school and twenty student of YPK junior high school and their mandarin teacher. In addition, the questionnaire method is used to collect students' evaluation of the textbook, the author conducts interviews with teachers to obtain data, and the analysts method is used to analyses the difference of the book. The author conducted a literature research and found that the 2007 edition of Hanyu 2 has more vocabularies. The 2000 edition of Hanyu 2 contains short essays, while the 2007 edition of Hanyu 2 contains short essays and dialogues. The 2007 edition of Hanyu 2 has specific grammatical explanations. The 2007 edition of Hanyu 2 had poor reading passages and storylines. Teachers thought the book had grammatical explanations and example sentences. Teachers found the textbook easy to use, but they found it difficult to explain vocabulary due to the lack of explanations of pinyin and numbered auxiliary words. Get PDFThe purpose of this research was to find out about positive thinking in learning in Class XI students at MA IslamiyahPontianak. The problem of this research is how to think positively in learning in class XI students of MA Islamiyah Pontianak. This research uses the descriptive method in the form of a survey study. The population is 46 students of class XI MA Islamiyah Pontianak. The research technique uses indirect communication as a data collection tool in data of questionnaire statement. Data analysis techniques are performed by statistical calculations using the percentage formula. The results of the research on positive thinking in learning in class XI students at MA Islamiyah Pontianak by obtaining a percentage of 60.23% reached the "Moderate" category of loading thoughts with the percentages of 56.14% in the category "Medium" the use of obtained the percentages of 61.14% received the category " Moderate" control of the mind gets the percentages of 62.72% in the "Moderate" category. The method used in this research is a case study method with a qualitative approach. In this research, the researcher acts as the main research instrument. Researchers also used recording equipment and interview questions. Data analysis activities by means of data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing or verification Research results The majority of respondents have not made detailed and systematic financial plans, although some of them said that they have taken care of family needs and routine expenditure items. Respondent families also do not pay much attention to long-term investments, except for two respondents who own houses and land. The majority of respondents have managed their finances by having planned financial obligation installments and saving regularly. Regarding the financial evaluation aspect, it can be concluded that not all teachers record the financial activities carried out. not using a technological recording system and not following the economic view in recording family finance

No full textThe popularity of social media has been used by organizations to carry out promotional activities, including libraries. Currently, many libraries use social media for promotional activities because of the various benefits that can be achieved, including Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Kubu Raya. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of promotional activities carried out by Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Kubu Raya through Youtube and the perceived obstacles in its implementation. This research uses a qualitative research approach. Observations and in-depth interviews uses to collect data. Data analysis techniques begin with data reduction, followed by the presentation of data, finally drawing conclusions. The data validity test is to use triangulation techniques. The results showed that Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Kubu Raya has carried out promotional activities by paying attention to four social media marketing factors: 1) Content creation is carried out by creating creative content that shows the characteristics of Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Kubu Raya and the services available therein; 2) Content sharing is carried out by sharing content uploaded on Youtube to other media platforms and cross-checking the content to be shared; 3) Connecting is done by spreading content uploaded through other social media to expand connections; 4) Community building is done by joining a community that has the potential to utilize the library. Get PDFThis study aims to describe the results of an analysis of the educational value contained in the novel which includes social values and individual character values in Joko Pinurbo's Srimenanti novel. The research method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The approach used in this study is the sociology of literature approach, especially the sociology of works. Sources of data in this study, is a documents in the form of a novel. The novel used in this study is the novel Srimenanti by Joko Pinurbo. The technique used in this study is a documentary study namely a documents in the form of a novel. The tools used in this study were stationery and laptops. The results of this study indicate that the educational value in Joko Pinurbo's Srimenanti novel associated with, namely social values and individual character values. Social values include, the value of affection, the value of helping, the value of caring, the value of politeness, and the value of courage. Individual character values include honesty values, religious values, and independence values. Researchers have designed lesson plans that utilize Joko Pinurbo's Srimenanti novel as learning material, specifically to achieve KD 3.9 and 4.9 for class XII SMA student
