    The study aimed to know the time of Azol1a application and the dose of P fertilizer which gave the best rice yield. The experiment was done from November 2005 to March 2006, in the field and green house of Agricultural Faculty UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Condong Catur, Yogyakarta. The pot experiment was arranged in Randomized Completely Design with two factor and three replication. The first factor was the timing ofAzofla application: no Azolla, 3,4,5 and 6 weeks after planting. The second factor was the dose of P fertilizer: 100 and 150 kg SP-36. The datas were analysed by analysis varian and Duncan Test 5%. The result showed that there was no interaction between the time of Azolla application and the dose of P fertilizer.The time of Azolla application 4 week after planting gave the best productive suckers , it was also for the dose P fertilizer 150kg/ha.     This study was carried out within 3 months, started from August 22 untul 22 Nopember 1999 on paddy soil at Desa Sidoreja, Kecamatan Pare, Kabupaten Kediri. The soil type used in the study was Regosol. Trial design was factorial randomized block, with 3 replicats. The first factor consisted of organic mailer (8): Azolla (81): Paddy straw (82) and Eceng Gondok (B3) The second factor was dosage of organic matter with 4 level: 0,5,10, and 15 ton ha-1 The result showed that there was no interaction between kind of organic matter dosage and neither for soil pH, CEC, and soil Fe and Mn available. Azolla, Paddy straw, and eceng gondok increasing CEe, soil Fe and Mn on 0 - 20 em. Paddy straw can increase CEC, soil Fe and Mn within 20 - 40 em depth Azalia and paddy straw decreasing soil pH within 0 - 20 em depth but paddy straw decreasing soil pH within 20 - 40 em dept

    Almost every chemical processes in plant growth is always affected by water, in under field capacity condition of soil water contain often cause decreasing on plant growth and production, Because of its water could become very important factor and as limiting factor. Performance of plant is always controlled by interaction between charaters of genetic and environment condition. Every variety of plant'has different responses on environmental stress treatment, included water stress condition. This research is arranged in Completely Randomized Design with two factors and three times replication, Duncan test 5 % is used to compare the difference of every treatments. As the first factor is Water Stress with three levels are: C1 ( 75 % field capacity), C2 (100 % field capacity) and C3 (125 % field capacity) and the second factor is Variety of tomato with five levels are V1 (Sragen variety), V2(Lanjar Blitarvariety), V3 (LV 4066 variety), V4 (Jamaica Cherry variety) and V5 (Sinoloa variety). Results of this research shown that there were significant interaction between water stress treatment and variety on helqht of plant at 34, 44 and 54 days after plant and dry weight of plant.     Synthetic plant hormone saled in many trade mark as Grow Quick (GQ) used for subtitute of cytokinin and auxin ill tissue culture medium of orchid. TIle aim of this study is to know and get concentration of GQ BAP and GQ NAA in MS medium for the most favor of orchid plantlet growth. Research was conducted in Randomized Block Design was replicated three times. Dendrobium 3 months age as Protocorm Like Bodies (plbs) treated in concentration combination of GQ BAP and GQ NAA in MS medium: MO = MS (control), M. = MS + GQ BAP'l ppm, M2 = MS+ GQ BAP 1 ppm + GQ NAA 1 ppm, M3 = MS + GQ BAP 1 ppm + GQ NAA 2 ppm, M4 = MS + GQ BAP 2 ppm + GQ NAA 2 ppm, M, = MS + GQ NAA 2 ppm. The best plantlet growth was showed MS + GQ BAP 1 ppm + GQ NAA 1 ppm on leaves number and root nlunber.GQ BAP and GQ NAA did not affect plantlet length and plantlet number.     The aim of this research are 1) to know growth balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesia and United States. 2)Analysing factors having an effect to balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesia and United States. Knowing effort to increase balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesian with United States. This Research using secondery data, of time series from 1992 to 2005. Of the obtained data is hereinafter analysed by using analysis of trend, analyse multiple linear regression and descriptive analysis. Result of research indicate that growth balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesia and United States from 1992 to 2005 would degradation. By simultan is fourth the variable have an effect on reality to balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesia and United States. While by partial variable of produce domestic natural rubber, rupiah exchange rate to dollar and interest rate have an effect on positive and signifikan to balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesian with United States, domestic polystyrene consumption have an effect on negative and signifikan to balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesian with United States. Effort to increase balance of trade rubber commodity between Indonesian with United States for example: Increase pro duel natural rubber by using pre-eminent clone, taking care of stability of rupiah exchange rate to dollar and need the existence of policy the government that is make-up of lease and add national saving will improve interest rate.     oai:ejournal.upnjatim.ac.id:article/204The purposed of the study is to identify of characteristics hydraulic flow and erosion as real picture on incipient motion-m sediment transport. The study is conducted in types of soil namely Alfisol and Entisol. They have a wide range utilization and a high erosion susceptibility. Simulation has been conducted by dropping eight different rain height to undisturbed soil block samples with 2.500 square em, width and 10 em thickness and with 9 % and 17 % land slopes. The results shows that surface run off not play in detachment of soil particle if equal with rain pellet and dispersion of water, but its transport sediment. Surface run off on plot standard in two kind of soil (Alfisol and Entisol) is laminar sub critics with Reynold number 140,2 and 136,2; Froude Number 0,940 and 0,980; drag force 9,02 and 4,44 Nm-2. Whereas 17% slope is super critics with Reynolrd Number 206,2 and 78,1; Froude number 1,219 and 1,286 and drag force 14,79 and 9,76 Nm-2.· Key Words: Erosion, hydraulic characteristic, sediment transpor

    Dalam usaha untuk mendapatkan kelapa Kopyor yang true-to-type, satu-satunya cara adalah dengan menginokulasikan embrio dalam media buatan pada kondisi in-vitro. Ada lima (5) protokol media dengan media dasar Y3 (Eeuwens) dan MS (Murashige & Skoog) yang dicoba yaitu M1 (Protokol UPLB/Philippines) sebagai kontrol, M2 (Protokol I) dengan rangkaian Y3 cair; Y3 cair; Y3 cair (media Y3 cair pada tahap inisiasi ; Y3 cair sub kultur I dan Y3 cair sub kultur II), M3 (Protokol II) dengan rangkaian media Y3 padat; Y3 padat; Y3 padat, ~ (Protokol III) dengan rangkaian media MS padat; MS padat; MS padat, ~ (Protokol IV) dengan rangkaian media Y3 cair; MS padat; Y3 cair, ~ (Protokol V) dengan rangkaian media MS cair; Y3 padat ;Y3 cair. Pertumbuhan embrio kelapa Kopyor sangat capat pada Protokol media II (serangkaian Y3 padat pad a tahap inisiasi, subkultur I dan II), sehingga menjadi plantlet yang sempurna. Sebaliknya pada protokol media I (serangkaian Y3 cair) embrio hanya membesar tetapi tidak dapat berkecambah. Pad a Protokol III embrio memberikan respon yang positif meskipun perkembangan embrio tidak secepat seperti pada protokol II. Pertumbuhan embrio terhenti atau mengalami stagnasi pada serangkain media protokol IV. Kata kunci: Protokol Media, Kultur Embrio, Kelapa Kopyo
