    Analisis Kolaborasi Penelitian Ilmiah Dosen Fakultas X dengan Social Network Analysis (SNA)

    Scientific publications have become the benchmarks of a country’s progress in the field of academics. This prompted the Indonesian government to issue a policy, to increase the researcher’s interest in collaborating and publicizing their research. Improving quality in research collaboration at college or faculty level could be done by analyzing the research collaboration conducted before. This research aims to understand the pattern of research collaboration, conducted by lecturers of Faculty X in YZ University based on the published scientific papers both locally, nationally and internationally. The method used to analyze the collaboration is Social Network Analysis (SNA). The centralizes measure that we used in SNA are degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality, to know how big the influences of each actor in the network. Additional attributes used to understand collaboration patterns, i.e. Study Program and Academic Functional Position (JAFA). The results of this research are the centrality value of each actor and the mapping of the network pattern based on the centrality and the attributes used. In addition, the relationship between actors is also seen based on the attributes that have been determined so as to provide more views on the conclusions of this study. It could be concluded that with the measurement in SNA, could be found the pattern of collaboration research from each actor based on the measurements of social network in the form of sociogram and the result of analysis of each actor in the form of sociometry

    The purpose of this research is to apply the monitoring & evaluation concept (M & E) in the student activity information system in the study program at Perbanas Institute. Student activities in higher education are usually very numerous and varied and require a financial aspect. Lack of monitoring and evaluation is the main problem faced by the study program on student activities. Thus, the M & E concept (including inputs, activities, outputs, outcomes, and impacts) needs to be applied to address these issues. The results of this study present Monitoring and Evaluation Information Systems for student activities in Study Program. This M & E information system for student activities will contribute to supporting the performance of the study program.&nbsp

    The development of social media especially Instagram application is very rapidly. Instagram users usually do activities at any time by using Instagram as a communication tool for sharing information using Android smartphones. A large number of Instagram users makes this application vulnerable to Instagram abuse such as cyberbullying crime among Instagram users. The cases can be examined to obtain digital evidence in the form of chats and images/photos in Android smartphone. Investigations in this study use the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) method that provides several stages of preparation, collection, examination, analysis, and reporting while forensic applications use OXYGEN forensics. The process of data acquisition using OXYGEN forensics obtains evidence of data results in the form of photos/pictures and conversations on the Instagram messenger.&nbsp

    Iris is a biometric-based on physiological characteristics. Iris is completely unique, the patterns of one person's two eyes are quite different from each other and even genetically identical twins have different iris patterns. The Iris of a person is stable throughout a person's life. Therefore, the iris recognition system has a high level of security. This study proposed iris recognition system using Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) as feature extraction and two classifier K - Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) and Naive Bayes. CASIA Iris Interval V4.0 database is utilized to evaluate the performance of the proposed methods. The experimental results show that the iris image with normalization has a better accuracy when compared with iris images without normalization. The highest accuracy in this research is HOG + KNN for iris with normalization, with accuracy 96%

    PT. SS Dinamika is a company engaged in marketing umbrella throughout Indonesia to meet customer’s demand. Places that have been marketed and still making orders are Medan, Sumatera, and Palembang. This company has implemented an Information System specifically Accurate Accounting Software to support the company’s business processes. Unfortunately, the problem arises where the company experiences a delay in entering sales data because the administration has not fully mastered the application. The company’s IT condition has never been measured and audited. Therefore, an audit measurement is needed to measure the company’s business processes, applications, and corporate strategy. In this audit, the measurement uses the framework of COBIT 5 which is focused on the DSS01, DSS02 and DSS04 domain (Deliver, Service and Support). The result of this research after analyzing the data is the value of Capability Level on DSS01, DSS02 and DSS04 are at level 1 (Performed Process) and the Expected Level are at level 3. The conclusion of this research is the company has already run its business process pretty well. Unfortunately, the company still has to make some improvements on each DSS domain that has been analyzed.&nbsp

    Manajemen Risiko Keamanan Informasi Menggunakan ISO 27005:2011 pada Sistem Informasi Akademik (SIAK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI)

    Information security is an important part of an academic information system, including Muhammadiyah University of Sukabumi (UMMI). Information security is conducted to protect UMMI assets, especially data and information. Data and information have become an important asset in an organization because it relates to the image of the organization. At this time academic information system at UMMI is built online, causing various threats that may occur. Threats can arise inside or outside. If the threat occurs then the information security aspect will be disrupted and enable the disruption of business process on academic information system of UMMI. The likelihood of this threat is called risk. To minimize losses from risks, risk management should be done well. The risk management method used in risk management in the academic information system of UMMI is ISO 27005. The selection of this method to facilitate the development in the next stage of information security management system on UMMI Academic Information System uses ISO 27000 series. Data collection is done by interview and discussion. The risk management process under ISO 27005 includes four main steps: scope determination, risk assessment, risk treatment and risk acceptance. The result of the risk assessment found 73 possible threat scenarios divided into 3 risk levels, which were 2 low risks, 64 medium risks and 7 high risks. Out of 73 threat scenarios, 47 were made to risk treatment planning. Results of the risk treatment plan, 19 modified risks, 1 risk transferred and 27 risks could be avoided. This risk treatment plan is a recommendation for the leadership of UMMI to conduct risk management.&nbsp

    Perbandingan Performa Algoritma Minimax dan Breadth First Search Pada Permainan Tic-Tac-Toe

    Tic-Tac-Toe is one of the board games that can hone the motor skills of the brain. This game uses 2 pawns, there are X and O. The game started with X’s pawn as the player who first turns, the game got win condition if the player or the enemy put the 3 pawns in a diagonal, vertical or horizontal line. While the game got draw if there is no player or enemy who put 3 pawns in a diagonal, vertical or horizontal line. The game’s problems are the player should think about the next best step to win and defend with put pawn to block enemy’s steps to win. To solve the problems, the game needs some algorithms, there are Minimax algorithm and Breadth First Search algorithm. Minimax algorithm explores node from deepest level and evaluates the scores using minimum or maximum value. Breadth First Search algorithm is an algorithm which explores node widely and compares evaluation scores to the deepest level. In this research, each algorithm is tested to response time and number of nodes needed on a game board with 3×3, 5×5, 7×7, and 9×9 size as much as 16 scenarios. Based on the test results, Breadth First Search algorithm is superior to Minimax on 3×3 board size in terms of response time and the number of nodes required. While the Minimax algorithm is superior to Breadth-First Search on 5×5 and 9×9 board size in terms of response time and the number of nodes required. In the first turn, the algorithm will trace the number of nodes larger than the next step so that the placement of the algorithm for the first turn affects the final result of the node number parameter

For this occasion, the limitation of use concerns about the competence of the information technology field. In this study, the application test with functional testing the application of the black box method. The results show that this application has been running and can use. Hopefully this application can give a positive impact on the public, and specifically for data collection on competency in information technology in Indonesia
