    Buku Penghubung Berbasis Android Menggunakan Metode Prototyping

    Abstract — The role of parents is very important in the education of their children, even though parents have entrusted their children to school. Parents also have responsibility for continuing children's learning at home. Parents of course need information about their child's learning at school, so that they guide learning at home in accordance with the lessons learned at school. In order for the information to be conveyed properly, SDN 04 Bengkalis uses a Buku Penghubung. Buku penghubung is used as a medium for communication between teachers and parents. However, the problem that arises from using it is the lack of interest of parents in using buku penghubung. Buku penghubung, also often left behind, easy to lose, and prone to damage because made of paper. This research aims to build an android-based buku penghubung application. The application features announcements, daily grades, list of lessons, and attendance. The method in this research is the prototyping. The result of this research is an android-based buku penghubung application that can be used by teachers and parents. Application testing uses the black box testing and compatibility testing.   Keywords— Buku Penghubung, Android, Black Box, Compatibility

    Pengelompokan Komentar Dataset Sentipol dengan Modified K-Means Clustering

    Clustering is a technique in data mining thatgroups data sets into similar data clusters. One of thealgorithms that is commonly used for clustering is K-Means.However, the K-Means algorithm has several weaknesses, oneof them is the random factor in initial centroid selection, sothat cluster result is inconsistent even though it is tested withthe exact same data. The Modified K-Means algorithm focuseson selecting the initial centroid to overcome inconsistencies ofcluster results in the K-Means method. The test was conductedusing sentipol dataset and only focused on comment data.Furthermore, the specified number of clusters is 3 based on thenumber of existing comment labels (positive, negative, andneutral). According to testing result proves that Modified KMeans algorithm produces better purity value than K-Meansalgorithm. Modified K-Means algorithm produces average ofpurity value 0,42, while K-Means produces average of purityvalue 0,391. Meanwhile, from testing related to random factorsconducted 5 times with the same attributes and test data, theresults of the cluster on the Modified K-Means algorithm didnot change, so automatically the resulting purity value was alsothe same. Whereas in the K-Means algorithm, the clusterresults always change in each test, so the result of purity valueis also likely to change

    Implementasi Algoritma K-Nearest Neighbor untuk Melakukan Klasifikasi Produk dari beberapa E-marketplace

    E-marketplace has gained popularity with the Indonesian society resulting in the increment of products offered. Consequently, customers require more effort to search for products. In this study, we classified products from several e-marketplaces. The classification was carried out using TF-IDF method for the weighting, cosine similarity to calculate product similarity distance, and k-nearest neighbor algorithm. Based on the first testing result using 150 product data, the k-nearest neighbor method with k=5 successfully classified 146 data with 4 data classified into the wrong class. This k=5 value gives the best result for this case, with an accuracy of 97.33%. The second testing result using 150 mixed brand product data, the k-nearest neighbor method successfully classified 145 data with 5 data classified into the wrong class. The accuracy of the second testing is 96.67%

    Data security is one of the most important factors in the world of Information Technology today. One way to secure data is by Block Cipher Cryptography technique. However, some cryptographic techniques have been successfully solved by the cryptanalysis so that new cryptographic algorithms need to be created. The design of Cryptography algorithms based on traditional game patterns of Rangku Alu from East Nusa Tenggara is a design of Cryptographic Block Cipher algorithms that operate in the form of bits designed with 10 rounds where each cycle contains four processes. In each round there are four patterns for the plaintext process and four patterns for the key. The fourth process is transformed with an S-Box table to get a more random ciphertext. Tests were also carried out using Avalance Effect which reached 49,38% and the correlation value where there was a change in character reached 73,44%. So the result designing Cryptographic algorithms can be used for encryption and description in text files

    The presence of the information technology (IT) has important roles for the Law Bureau on the dissemination of information and law products in Central Sulawesi. As is the urgency for the law information that leads to enhance the quality of public service, the presence of Law Documentation Network Department (JDIH) in Central Sulawesi was expected to be a responsible department in order to deploy the law information with the implementation of information technology by website. This research uses qualitative method on data retrieval, that is done by interview to several staffs in Law Bureau, Central Sulawesi. The result of this research is that there are several factors that urge the adoption of IT on Law Bureau, that is: (a) there is urgency of people against the law Bureau, (b) the adoption of information technology was an effort of the Law Bureau to enhance the service quality, (c) the time effectiveness of law information dissemination. Other than that, this research also found the fact that the quality of human resource in the Law Bureau is not so espouse, therefore IT impacts the JDIH website management. There are several positive impacts as well for the vertical agency that connected with the Law Bureau and society in Central Sulawesi.&nbsp

    The development of the aviation industry in Indonesia in the past decade has risen sharply. One of the impacts of the development of the aviation industry was the presence of a multilevel tariff concept. Where, the concept is the variation in ticket prices in one class with slightly different facilities such as the difference in penalty fees for making refunds and rebooking. The concept of multilevel rates is usually referred to as sub-class rates. One application of the sub-class tariffs in economic classes is divided into four types of sub-classes special promo sub-classes, promo sub-classes, then affordable sub-class and flexible sub-class. One optimization method of getting a combination that meets the requirements without having to try all possibilities is the Genetic Algorithm. The chromosomes built represent 10 subclasses on 9 routes so that they have 90 genes. The use of genetic algorithms originated from the generation of an initial population of 8 chromosomes with a length of 90 genes performed randomly, evaluation of the compatibility function was then selected using the Rank based fitness technique, crosses using Multi-Point Crossover, mutations with the Mutation Insertion technique. The system built was tested with two conditions each of eight tests with 100 generations. First, the test uses the mutation method of three subclass codes on four routes at a capacity of 150 seats, obtained the largest match value of Rp. 750,752,200 and the smallest Rp. 662,283,100. And testing with the mutation method of three subclass codes on eight routes of 150 seat capacity obtained the largest match value of Rp. 763,265,300 and the smallest Rp. 547,396,200. The results of testing the mutation method on eight routes resulted in a higher match value compared to the mutation method on four routes. The system has been implemented in software so that it can provide recommendations on the number of ticket passes distributed in the economic subclass

    In Indonesia, which poverty rates reaching 9.82% in March 2018, education cost is a barrier for sections of societies with low household income. So that the availability of scholarships is a solution. Based on this, Maranatha Christian University provides tuition assistance in the form of scholarships for students with several categories, which are managed by Student Welfare Sector, under the supervision of the Directorate of Student Affairs. The problem in managing the scholarship is that there is no adequate system. The goal is this research is to design a business strategy and information system strategy to achieve harmony based on present and future needs. TOGAF Framework, the enterprise architecture method is chosen to provide an effective and efficient solution from the business architecture phase, information system architecture phase, and technology architecture phase. The result of this research is in the form of TOGAF ADM artifact, as the blueprint architecture and IT development recommendations that are expected to be a guide in the development of scholarship services at Maranatha Christian University
