    The company's application design is very important because it displays the company's image and to attract more users to purchase/utilize the application. This research applies Kansei Engineering Method to analyze the emotion or feelings of the user towards the design of a mobile application interface. Six Kansei Words and three specimens are utilised in this research, where Kansei words are selected from words related to user experience. The participants of this research consist of 54 students from Maranatha Christian University. Participants’ responses are studied using multivariate statistical analysis (e.g., Coefficient Correlation Analysis, Principal Component Analysis, and Factor Analysis). This study explores the emotional factors that occur in designing an application. This analysis shows that there are some major factors that greatly influence the design of a mobile application interface

    Final Project Report at a university has the potential for plagiarism. To detect possible plagiarism, String Similarity can be used. Text preprocessing is needed to process words which can make String Similarity results inaccurate. The value of the distribution of the results of the similarity that is getting higher shows the level of accuracy is also getting higher. Reports that contain many words can make it difficult to find plagiarism recommendations. In this study, we try to divide the report into each chapter to provide more detailed recommendation material. By using text preprocessing and comparison methods in the same chapter, can determine the characteristics of each chapter. The discovery of the characteristics of each chapter can be used as plagiarism recommendation material in more detail than a full text report. The experiment was a comparison of the results of cosine similarity between the same chapters and full text, then combined with preprocessing stopword removal and stemming. The experimental results show that the use of preprocessing stopword removal and stemming can produce the highest distribution value and the similarity ratio in each chapter can show its characteristics. Words that represent the characteristics of a chapter can potentially become a stopword

    Most languages have two form of words: standard and not-standard. Standard words usually used in formal conversation, while not-standard words used in informal conversation. The massive use of non-standard words in the text-based communication through social media application causing a new problem for its text-processing features such as language translator or artificial intelligence (AI) conversation program (chatbots). Our research purpose is to create a system that can convert any non-standard Indonesian word into standard Indonesian word using crowdsourcing method, a community-based method to create database that contain non-standard Indonesian words and its associated standard words. We hope this system can help people who working on text-mining based application, especially in Indonesian words, to improve their performance in text-processing

    Prediksi Kelalaian Pinjaman Bank Menggunakan Random Forest dan Adaptive Boosting

    Abstract — A loan is one of the most important products on the bank, which used for main revenue. All bank tries to find the most effective business strategy to persuade a customer to use the loan, but loan default has a negative effect after the application is approved. Loan default causes loss on the bank, therefore  it is  mandatory to calculate in order to decrease the risk of the loan default. This study uses  random forest and adaptive boosting machine learning methods to get the prediction and decision. The random forest uses a voting method from many decision trees and adaptive boosting can support to increase accuracy, stability and handle an underfit or overfit problem. The experimental results show that Adaptive Boosted Random Forest outperformed normal random forest and Deep learning Neural Network (DNN) in recall rate evaluation metrics with small trade-offs in the accuracy.   Keywords— Adaptive Boosting; Bank; Loan Default; Machine learning; Random Forest

    T-junction is one of the types of intersections that often results in congestion, and long queues. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the traffic flow to determine vehicles per hour, Passenger Car Unit (PCU) per hour, traffic fluctuations, vehicle composition, trip composition and traffic flow at peak hours at T-junction. The process of identifying traffic flow is  complex and involves many variables. The process is currently still using Microsoft Excel which requires a lot of time and energy and allows for human error. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to design and build a traffic flow identification system at T-junction using NoSQL database. NoSQL is useful for complex data because NoSQL eliminates repetitive data. The results of this research are the traffic flow identification system at T-junction using NoSQL database which consists of vehicles per hour, PCU per hour, traffic fluctuations, vehicle composition, trip composition, and traffic flow during peak hours

    Salatiga City is a town located in the province of Central Java. In this town, there can be found many cultural heritage buildings that were built in the mid-18th century to 1940. Potential visitors would increase easier if a geographic information system is built. Tourists who visit can access the website to select or search for cultural heritage that they want to visit, therefore the availability of a geographic information system that provides information and data on the location of cultural heritage in digital maps is needed. The system must also consider aspects of the cultural heritage rating, the price of admission, and the condition of the cultural heritage to provide recommendations on which cultural heritage to be visited. Therefore the geographic information system of cultural heritage recommendations uses the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method which can calculate multi- criteria, multi alternatives, and provides cultural heritage recommendations. This system combines geographic information system as a provider of cultural heritage information and AHP decision support system to assist tourists in choosing cultural heritage

    Abstract — Pincher is an online platform that is useful for assisting in finding and registering for training classes aimed at facilitating users who want to find their identity and channel their talents and inspirations creatively. This pincher application provides information and distributes training classes by selling class tickets. In its development as an online platform, Pincher still uses the website as a means of distributing training classes owned by Pincher, so this tool is less effective and efficient for users because the Pincher website is too complicated to access using a mobile phone or smartphone. Therefore, to help users access the Pincher application using their mobile phones, Pincher applications are made in a simple form that is applied to mobile applications. In addition, Pincher also does not have a feature that can make it easier for customers to determine the class to be chosen.
