Comparison of Growth Trends of Edamame Varieties with different earliness : A Case Study in Ebetsu City, Hokkaido (2023)
Bulletin2023年に,本学圃場にて異なるダイズ4品種(エダマメ用途の「サッポロミドリ」,「莢音」,「青雫」ならびにダイズ用途の「ユキホマレ」)の早晩性と収量性を評価した。2023年は平年に比べて気温が著しく高く推移し,例年に比べて各品種の開花期が早期化した可能性が考えられた。2023年の調査結果では,「サッポロミドリ」,「莢音」,「ユキホマレ」の3品種が7月11日ごろに開花期を,7月18日ごろに着莢期を迎えた。これに対し,「青雫」は7月19日ごろに開花期を,7月26日ごろに着莢期を迎え,3品種に比較して晩生であることが示された。収量調査結果から,エダマメ用途の3品種に比べて「ユキホマレ」の収量性が高いことが示された。In 2023, four different soybean varieties (“Sapporo Midori,” “Sayane,” and “Aoshizuku” for edamame, and “Yukihomare” for soybean) were evaluated for earliness and yield performance. Temperatures in 2023 remained significantly higher than usual, possibly resulting in an earlier flowering for each variety. In 2023 , three varieties, “Sapporo Midori”, “Sayane”, and “Yukihomare”, reached flowering around July 11 and setting around July 18. On the other hand, “Aoshizuku” reached flowering around July 19 and podding around July 26, indicating that it was a late bloomer compared to the other three varieties.
