Nerabearen eta lagun-taldearen ikus-entzunezko kontsumoa 2011n: Gipuzkoako kasu azterketa
Ikerlan honen helburua da ezagutzea 12 eta 16 urte bitarteko gaztetxo gipuzkoarren ikusentzunezko kontsumo-ohiturak, betiere nerabezaroan funtsezkoa den lagun-taldearekin duen
harremana kontuan hartuta (jakiteko ea harremanik dagoen ikus-entzunezko kontsumo indibidualaren
eta talde-kontsumoaren artean). Landa lana 2011n burutu zen: 852 galdetegi, 26 sakoneko elkarrizketa
eta 16 neraberen Tuentiko profilen eduki-azterketa baliatu ziren ikerketa osatzeko. Ikerlanak
deskribatzen duen testuinguruan aro analogikoko ikus-entzunezko praktikak eta kontsumo-ohitura
berriak uztartzen dira, digitalizazioaren ondorioz sortu direnak. Horrekin batera, lagun-taldearen
eragina nerabezaroan nabaria da.The aim of this study was to explore audiovisual consumption in teenagers aged from 12 to 16 in
2011 in the province of Gipuzkoa (Basque Country). Given the crucial role of peers in teenager
development, the relationship between individual and peer group media consumption patterns has
been studied. The impact of the digitizing audiovisuals through new ways of consumptions was also
assessed. Data was gathered through a survey carried out on 852 subjects throughout the province, 26
in-depth interviews and the content analysis of 16 Tuenti social media profiles. Results helped us
conclude that old and new audiovisual consumption patterns coexist after the digitalization. In
addition, the influence of peers on the adolescent media consumption is remarkable
Novel SHM method to locate damages in substructures based on VARX models
A novel damage localization method is proposed, which is based on a substructuring approach and makes use of Vector Auto-Regressive with eXogenous input (VARX) models. The substructuring approach aims to divide the monitored structure into several multi-DOF isolated substructures. Later, each individual substructure is modelled as a VARX model, and the health of each substructure is determined analyzing the variation of the VARX model. The method allows to detect whether the isolated substructure is damaged, and besides allows to locate and quantify the damage within the substructure. It is not necessary to have a theoretical model of the structure and only the measured displacement data is required to estimate the isolated substructure's VARX model. The proposed method is validated by simulations of a two-dimensional lattice structure
Diagnóstico y nuevos retos del diseño industrial. El caso del área industrial de la Corporación Mondragón
La integración del diseño en los procesos de innovación conlleva una mejora de la competitividad. No obstante, investigaciones a nivel estatal indican que en la industria predomina todavía una visión estético-funcional del diseño.
Este estudio, dirigido a los responsables de Innovación y Desarrollo del Área Industria de la Corporación MONDRAGON permite: (i) conocer el grado de madurez de la aplicación del diseño en las empresas industriales de la Corporación MONDRAGON, (ii) analizar el estado actual en dos ámbitos específicos del diseño que son de interés para dicho grupo: el Diseño Centrado en los Usuarios y el Diseño de Servicios, e (iii) identificar intereses futuros en el ámbito del diseño para este grupo.
Los resultados sugieren que el diseño está parcialmente integrado en los procesos de desarrollo de los productos, principalmente relacionado con la mejora de los aspectos técnico-funcionales. A su vez, se identifica que las técnicas del Diseño Centrado en los Usuarios se aplican de manera no sistemática, solo una minoría de las empresas tiene procesos estructurados para ello. Además, el estudio indica que aunque la servitización es ya evidente en este grupo industrial, solo una minoría de las empresas reconoce tener un método para el diseño de nuevos servicios.
Las empresas indican que la identificación de las necesidades del usuario y el diseño conjunto de producto y servicio, serán claves en un futuro. Para ello, es necesario que el Diseño Centrado en los Usuarios y el Diseño de Servicios sean parte integral de los procesos de innovación. Así, los autores subrayan la necesidad de activar procesos de aprendizaje en las empresas, fomentando nuevas dinámicas de colaboración entre la industria y la universidad
Comparison of the hardening behaviour of different steel families : from mild and stainless steel to advanced high strength steels
Although steel has been used in vehicles from the automotive industry's inception, different steel gradesare continually being developed in order to satisfy new fuel economy requirements. For example,advanced high strength steel grades (AHSS) are widely used due to their good strength/weight ratio.Because each steel grade has a different microstructure composition, they show different behaviourswhen they are subjected to different strain paths in forming processes. Materials with high yieldstrength tend to be influenced by phenomena of cyclic plasticity such as the Bauschinger Effect, whilelow yield strength materials tend to harden when they are subjected to cyclic loading.Different steel grades are used in different forming processes, which are usually optimised bynumerical tools such as Finite Element Models. This method requires proper hardening rules in order tocorrectly predict the real behaviour of the materials. For instance, AHSS are usually well modelled bymeans of mixed isotropic–kinematic hardening models.The methodology for developing a mixed hardening model to be implemented infinite elementcodes and simulate sheet forming processes requires three steps: (i) an appropriate experimental test toobtain stress–strain curves, (ii) a model able to predict accurately the behaviour of the material and (iii) aparameter identification method. Currently, there are few studies which analyse and model thehardening behaviour of different steel families following the same methodology. In this work, a widerange of steels from low to high yield strengths were characterised and their hardening behaviourmodelled with the same methodology so as to provide comparative data.In particular, the Chaboche and Lemaitre hardening model was successfullyfitted to the experi-mental stress–strain curves obtained from a tension–compression test. The test was performed at lowcyclic deformations (72%) due to the limitation of the test to achieve higher deformations during thecompression without buckling. Therefore, this modelization is useful for low deformation processes suchas the roll levelling process (Silvestre; 2013, Silvestre et al.Steel Res Int; 2012, 1295), in which themaximum deformations achieved are lower than 2%
Makina Elektrikoen Portaera Bibroakustikoaren Neurketa eta Simulazioa
Noise and vibration of electrical machines is a major concern. Changes in the machine design to improve its ef f iciency can lead to unacceptable vibrations. Tools to predict its vibratory and acoustic performance at the design stage need to be developed. An improved f inite element model has been developed to analyse the vibration behaviour of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) using the f inite element software ABAQUS. All components and subsets of the machine have been modelled and validated by experimental modal analysis (EMA) performed on them. Some modelling issues have been overcome so that an accurate enough model has been reached. The laminated stator, as it is formed by a pack of several steel sheets, has been treated as an orthotropic material and windings have been considered a solid orthotropic part as well. The rotor-shaf t assembly has also been verif ied by EMA. The bearings that join the rotor to the assembly of the stator have been represented by radial springs. The electromagnetic forces are applied to the whole machine model in order to obtain the vibration response. These forces are obtained from the magnetic air-gap flux density which has been obtained with a 2D f inite element model developed by FLUX. Finally, it has also been obtained the experimental acoustic power that the machine emits.Makina elektrikoen zarata eta bibrazioa kezka garrantzitsuak dira. Beronen efizientzia hobetzeko burututako aldaketek bibrazio maila onartezin bat ekar dezakete. Ondorioz, makina hauen portaera bibroakustikoa aurreikusiko duten erremintak garatzea nahitaezkoa da. ABAQUS softwarearen laguntzaz, iman iraunkorreko motor sinkrono baten bibrazio portaera aztertzeko modelo bat garatu da, elementu finituen metodoa erabiliz. Makinaren osagai eta azpimultzo guztiak analisi modal esperimentalen (AME) bidez balioztatuak izan dira. Gainera, modelizazio aspektu batzuk hobetu egin dira, beraz modelo fidagarri bat sortu da. Estatore laminarra, altzairuzko zenbait xaflez osatuta dagoenez, material ortotropo bat bezala kontsideratu da, eta harilkatua ere solido ortotropo bezala kontsideratu dira. Errotore-ardatz azpimultzoa ere AME-ren bidez balioztatua izan da. Bestalde, errotorea multzoarekin lotzen duten errodamenduak malguki erradial batzuen bidez modelizatu dira. Design of a new product to make the most of food at home: an Experience Design approach
The experiences are becoming the new owners of the economic value, due to the new socioeconomic context. More and more companies are using experience driven methodologies in order to get a better understanding of the feelings, needs and emotional behaviour of the users. This research work aims to find a solution to home waste prevention and management, and in order to get that purpose, it is designed a new product using a experience design methodology. This communication explains the process and tools that are used in the analysis phase within this specific experience design development. As a result, we get that for this kind of projects, the experience design approach allow getting a much better understanding of human emotional triggers and we see the potential of experience design in order to get new and innovative products.Diseinuaren jarduna inguruarekin batera garatzen den alorra izanik, gaur egungo kontestu sozioekonomikoak, esperientzietan oinarritutako diseinuen sorrera ekarri du. Balore ekonomikoa produktu eta zerbitzuetatik, esperientzietara garraiatzen ari da eta berrikuntza kasu askotan hontan oinarritzen hasi da. Estrategiak, erabiltzaileen beharrizanak modu eraginkor eta sakonago batean lantzea ahalbideratzen du eta lotura emozional eraginkorragoa lortzen da. Ikerketa lan honetan esperientzien diseinua ardatz hartuta, zaborren sorrera eta kudeaketarekin lotuta dagoen arazoari soluzio bat aurkitu nahi zaio. Eta horretarako, esperientziak diseinatzeko metodologia bat erabili da. Artikulu honek, proiektuan erabili den diseinu prozesuaren analisi fasea deskribatzen du eta esperientzia diseinuaren metodologiaren baitan erabili diren pausu eta erramintak azaltzen ditu. Hybrid ac/dc microgrids. Part I : Review and classification of topologies
Microgrids have been widely studied in the literature as a possible approach for the integration of distributed energy sources with energy storage systems in the electric network. Until now the most used configuration has been the ac microgrid, but dc-based microgrids are gaining interest due to the advantages they provide over their counterpart (no reactive power, no synchronization, increasing number of dc devices, etc.). Therefore, hybrid ac/dc microgrids are raising as an optimal approach as they combine the main advantages of ac and dc microgrids. This paper reviews the most interesting topologies of hybrid ac/dc microgrids based on the interconnection of the ac and dc networks and the conventional power network. After performing a description and analysis of each configuration, a comparative evaluation has been performed to highlight the most important features of each one. The future trends identified during the study also show that several features such as the scalability, modeling or design require further research towards the integration of hybrid microgrids in the power network
Model Query Translator. A Model-level Query Approach for Large-scale Models
Persisting and querying models larger than a few tens of megabytes using XMI introduces a significant time and memory footprint overhead to MDD workflows. In this paper, we present an approach that attempts to address this issue using an embedded relational database as an alternative persistence layer for EMF models, and runtime translation of OCL-like expressions for efficiently querying such models. We have performed an empirical study of the approach using a set of large-scale reverse engineered models and queries from the Grabats 2009 Reverse Engineering Contest. Main contribution of this paper is the Model Query Translator, an approach that translates (and executes) at runtime queries from model-level (EOL) to persistence-level (SQL)
