Hezkuntza funtsezkoa da jendarte humanoago, duinago eta demokratikoago baterako eraldaketa soziala ahalbideratzeko. Euskal Herriko hezkuntza erakunde batzuek eraldaketa prozesuak hasi dituzte: pedagogikoak, metodologikoak, arkitektonikoak eta pertsonalak. Prozesuotan, hezkuntzaren misioa ber-definitzen ari dira garatu nahi den pertsona -ikasle profila- misioarekin harremanetan ezaugarrituta. Kooperazioaren aldagaiak aztertzen hasterakoan identifikatzen da pertsona kooperatiboaren profila garatzeko eta neurtzeko -ebaluatzeko- beharra. Horregatik eraiki da ikasleen auto-pertzepzioa oinarri duen KOOPHEZI-i tresna: Batxilergorako, Lanbide Heziketarako eta Unibertsitateko Graduetarako baliagarria. Tresnaren erabilerak posible egiten du pertsona kooperatiboaren profilarekin erlazionatutako azpi-dimentsioen diagnostikoa osatzea. Proiektuaren helburua betetzeko aukera ematen dute diagnostikoek: hezkuntza zentroen eraldaketarako lagungarriak diren testuinguruak eta esperientziak diseinatzea, inplementatzea eta ebaluatzea unibertsitateko ikerlarien, hezkuntza zentroetako irakasleen nahiz komunitateko partaideen elkarlanarekin

Due to the high pollution levels, in the last few years the need of improving the efficiency of the transportation sector has increased. In this context, transport applications powered by electric storage systems emerge as a very convenient solution. Tramways are a clear example of high efficient transport applications powered by energy storage systems. Nevertheless, in order to achieve a higher reliability in the market, it is important to properly foresee the ageing effect that the existing storage systems suffer. This paper presents an ageing model to estimate the lifetime of supercapacitors, which are widely used in the mentioned transport applications. The model is developed and validated based on experimental tests developed in real application conditions. Finally, a study case is analyzed applying the operation profile of a real tramway to the proposed model.Kutsadurak sortutako arazoen eraginez, azken hamarkadan efizientzia handiagoko garraio aukeren beharra areagotu da. Testuinguru honetan, metatze elektrikoko sistemekin bultzatutako garraioek aukera oso aproposa aurkezten dute. Efizientzia handiko eta metatze sistemen bidez bultzatzen diren garraioen adibide argi bat tranbiak dira. Hala ere, eskuragarri dauden metatze teknologiek merkatu mailan berme altuagoa eskaini ahal izateko, pairatzen duten zahartzea aurreikustea garrantzitsua da. Hain zuzen ere, lan honek mota honetako aplikazioetan erabiltzen diren superkondentsadoreen biziraupena estimatzeko modelo bat aurkezten du. Modeloa baldintza errealistetan burututako froga esperimentaletan oinarriturik garatu eta balidatu da. Azkenik, ikerketa kasu bat aztertu da benetako tranbia baten operazio profila erabiliz

Indicators needed to design a student dashboard from lecturers’ perspectives: a qualitative study

    Get PDF
The number of students’ enrolled in Higher Education online courses is increasing, and as a result, more data about their learning process is generated. The data produced can be displayed on a dashboard and help students in their learning process. However, lecturers’ perspective should be taken into account to define the indicators of the dashboard as the design of the courses could impact on the elements included on it. And that is precisely the aim of this paper: to define the indicators needed to design a student dashboard in online courses taking into account lecturers' perspectives. This study was carried out with 10 lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities and Education from Mondragon Unibertsitatea. Online qualitative questionnaires were used to gather participants’ perceptions. Results show that most of the lecturers participating in the research study identified four indicators to design a student dashboard: number of times students access the course forum, amount of contributions in the forum, number of times students consult the information booklet, and number of times each student has accessed the course in a week time. Conclusions drawn from this study highlight the importance of training lecturers and students on the pedagogical use of data visualization

The Differential of the Cooperative Company

    No full text
In this article we are going to look at the cooperative business model. What does it mean to be a cooperative company? What are its main characteristics and signs of identity? Or, to put it another way, what is the difference between a cooperative company and other types of companies? What difficulties and challenges does the cooperative model face? Is it an obsolete formula or, on the contrary, one with a promising future? These are some of the questions that have guided our thoughts

A Multicriteria Decision Model for the Evaluation and Selection of Technologies in a R&D Centre

    Get PDF
R&D Centres play a key role in the technology development process of industries, and therefore in their competitive strategies. They have responsibility in the identification, selection, acquisition, development and transfer of technology. Among these activities, the successful selection of new technologies is becoming a highly critical and complex challenge in the Technology Management Process. The problem of succeeding in the selection of new technologies is, from the methodological side, linked to heterogeneous key factors (technological, economic, human, and organisational). Many approaches deal with it by means of Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques and tools. Nevertheless, most of the works are related to the selection of technologies in industrial cases and very few works have been found in the bibliography related to R&D Institutions and, in particular, Technological Centres. A model for the evaluation and decision about one or several technologies based on the MIVES (Modelo Integrado de Valor para Evaluaciones de Sostenibilidad) method is proposed. Introducing the motivations for using this method, after a review of the most used MCDM methods, and describing the structure of the model and the preliminary key parameters and relations among them. The proposed model is oriented to it’s application in the manufacturing sector, observing the particularities of the sector in the selection of the critical factors related to technology, R&D Centre and Industry

Mathematical Model Equations in Stationary Reference Frame of Current Controls for Grid-Connected Converters

    Get PDF
The grid-connected converter is a key element in many power electronic applications and technological devices which are commonly used nowadays. Wind turbines, photovoltaic generation, railway traction and grid-connected battery charges, are only some few examples of technological devices which incorporate grid-connected converters. In addition, one aspect within grid-connected converter is the current control. Current controls of grid-connected converters is one element of vital importance as well. Thus, this book theorizes around two specific current controls of three phase grid connected converters. Current control of three phase grid-connected converters, can be made in a stationary reference frame, or often called also as αβ reference frame. Alternatively also and probably more extended in industry, current control can be made in a synchronous rotating reference frame, or often called also as dq reference frame. Therefore, this book develops the mathematical equations describing the behavior of the controlled currents in a stationary reference frame (αβ) of three phase converters. These mathematical expressions in αβ frame are derived, for the following well known and already well stablished current controls: current control with resonant controllers in stationary reference frame (αβ) and also, for current control with PI controllers in synchronous rotating reference frame (dq). Although these mathematical equations are already developed and quite commonly used for current controls in αβ frame, it is not easy to find them for current controls in dq frame, if they exist. Moreover, it is important to highlight that the mathematical equations derived in this book, are expressed in ‘s’ domain after applying the Laplace transformation. This fact allows employing all the classic control theory tools, such as: pole-zero maps, frequency domain analysis, time domain responses to different inputs, etc… In addition, thanks to the knowledge of these mathematical equations in a common mathematical framework (αβ), it is possible to for instance: compare both current control methods at the same reference frame, easing comparative analyses. Thus, after deriving the mathematical equations of the mentioned current controls, these equations are experimentally validated in a laboratory set-up. Finally, the last two chapters of the book introduce further analysis such as: effect of delays and performance of the current controls in weak grids. To conclude, the appendix summarizes the most important mathematical developments to derive some useful expressions

Analysis and Evaluation of a Wired/Wireless Hybrid Architecture for Distributed Control Systems With Mobility Requirements

    Get PDF
Wireless communications offer significant benefits over wired communications, which has increased their popularity in industrial applications. Nevertheless, the existing wireless standard technologies do not satisfy the requirements demanded by the most critical industrial applications and thus, wired communications cannot be directly replaced by wireless solutions. Moreover, the inclusion of movable nodes in the network brings new challenges, such as the handover mechanism. In this paper, a hybrid wired/wireless architecture designed for industrial control applications is proposed. To control the wired network, a time-sensitive network (TSN) is used and to control the wireless network a medium access control (MAC) protocol is designed. In order to communicate both networks, a bridge that acts as a deterministic access point (AP) with real-time features is also proposed. One of the fundamental parts of the proposed architecture is that it can be used in applications with mobility requirements. Hence, a soft-handover algorithm is designed which guarantees uninterrupted communication during its execution without the need for a second radio interface and with reduced growth in network overhead. The proposed architecture is evaluated in order to assess its performance. This paper extends our previous work, including both a theoretical analysis to determine the delay bounds of the proposed architecture and a comparison between the performances of the proposed handover algorithm with other algorithms proposed in the literature. The evaluation has been carried out through OMNeT++ simulations. The results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed handover algorithm compared with other state-of-the-art solutions

Aging Modulates the Resting Brain after a Memory Task: A Validation Study from Multivariate Models

    Get PDF
Recent work has demonstrated that aging modulates the resting brain. However, the study of these modulations after cognitive practice, resulting from a memory task, has been scarce. This work aims at examining age-related changes in the functional reorganization of the resting brain after cognitive training, namely, neuroplasticity, by means of the most innovative tools for data analysis. To this end, electroencephalographic activity was recorded in 34 young and 38 older participants. Different methods for data analyses, including frequency, time-frequency and machine learning-based prediction models were conducted. Results showed reductions in Alpha power in old compared to young adults in electrodes placed over posterior and anterior areas of the brain. Moreover, young participants showed Alpha power increases after task performance, while their older counterparts exhibited a more invariant pattern of results. These results were significant in the 140–160 s time window in electrodes placed over anterior regions of the brain. Machine learning analyses were able to accurately classify participants by age, but failed to predict whether resting state scans took place before or after the memory task. These findings greatly contribute to the development of multivariate tools for electroencephalogram (EEG) data analysis and improve our understanding of age-related changes in the functional reorganization of the resting brain

Orquestando contextos educativos para la formación de futuros docentes reflexivos

    Get PDF

Gaining patient experience insights: An integrated and multi-levelled framework of information

    Get PDF
Taking patient experience as a basis, this paper introduces a theoretical framework, to capture insights leading to new technological healthcare solutions. Targeting a recently diagnosed type 1 diabetes child and her mother (the principal caregiver), the framework showed its potential with effective identification of meaningful insights in a generative session. The framework is based on the patient experience across the continuum of care. It identifies insights from the patient perspective: capturing patients' emotional and cognitive responses, understanding agents involved in patient experience, uncovering pain moments, identifying their root causes, and/or prioritizing actions for improvement. The framework deepens understanding of the patient experience by providing an integrated and multi-leveled structure to assist designers to (a) empathise with the patient and the caregiver throughout the continuum of care, (b) understand the interdependencies around the patient and different agents and (c) reveal insights at the interaction level
