European funds are financial instruments for the implementation of individual public policies of the European Union in the member states. These public policies of the European Union, the Member States and the candidate countries are the basis for determining the goals whose achievement will be encouraged by funding through EU funds. EU funds are money of European citizens which, in accordance with certain rules and procedures, are allocated to various beneficiaries for the implementation of projects that should contribute to the achievement of the mentioned key EU public policies. European public policies are adopted for a period of 7 years and are called the financial perspective. We are currently in the financial perspective 2021-2027, which was preceded by the financial perspective 2007-2013 and 2014- 2020. After Croatia's accession to the European Union, one of the significant sources of funding that should not be missed are EU funds, intended, among other things, to improve the tourist offer. As with any other service or product, it is important to improve and constantly offer new services and products that will interest tourists, so that they can get the full experience during their trip and vacation. In order to improve services or products in tourism and launch new projects that will enrich the tourist offer, it is necessary to provide sources of financing that will be able to monitor the implementation of the investment. EU funds in tourism as financial support will be provided to small and medium-sized enterprises investing in the construction, renovation and improvement of the quality of accommodation in small and medium-sized hotels, as well as the development of additional tourist offer and improvement of commercial value of natural and cultural resources. with the sustainability and environmental protection set out in national strategies. Also, participation in international fairs will be co-financed in order to promote new or improved products and services produced as a result of the aided investment

A concession in the legal sense is a license to perform an activity that is subject to a special approval. Republika Hrvatska velik udio svojeg BDP-a duguje upravo turizmu. The Republic of Croatia owes a large share of its GDP to tourism. Since growth and development are conditioned by finances, it is increasingly being considered as the only form of financing so that beneficiaries can achieve their set goals in the field of tourism. Nowadays, it means renting, equipping facilities, adapting, and introducing new facilities that will attract tourists. For this reason, a tourist loan has been introduced that targets precisely such interest groups. This form has become extremely interesting for people who decide to invest in tourism, but also for those who are already well-versed in the tourism business. In the territory of the Republic of Croatia, it is appropriate to increase accommodation capacities, which is an indication that tourist loans have a basis for their development, but in addition to accommodation, they are also used in other items of tourism. The purpose of this paper is to present the offer of tourist loans in the Republic of Croatia and, based on data analysis, to obtain an answer to the question of which offer currently pays the most on the market

The supply of fermented food in tourism is receiving more and more attention in the field of tourism, both from the supply side and from the demand side. Yet fermented foods require caution while being served because of their sensitivity to many factors. In recent times, more and more attention is being paid to a healthy life and good nutrition in the world, and for this reason, this type of food is gaining in popularity. Catering facilities in tourism need to adapt to consumers, which means that they must have a wide range of fermented products to be competitors in the market. Special emphasis can be placed on the offer of local fermented food because it could attract the most attention from tourists

LISBON TREATY AND THE EUROPEAN UNION

In this dissertation on "Lisbon Treaty and the European Union" we will talk about the Treaty of Lisbon as one of the Founding Treaties of the European Union, the treaty last adopted at the level of the European Union, the treaty under which the European Union exists in its current form and which is currently in force. After the basic theses on the European Union (definition and some general terms), in the first part of the paper we will see how the Treaty of Lisbon came about, and which of the founding treaties preceded the one currently in force. In the elaboration of the paper, we will go through all the most important aspects of the Treaty, and how much the European Union has actually changed in order to reach the state it is today, ie according to the provisions of the Treaty of Lisbon. We will see that the road to the Treaty of Lisbon was not easy at all, it was thorny, full of obstacles and protests from some members, especially the failed attempt of the European Constitution which in some parts of Europe even led to chaos. The fact that the adoption of the Treaty was not simple or painless is sufficiently indicated by the fact that, after being confirmed and ratified by the Parliaments of all 27 signatory Member States, it entered into force only two years later, on 1 December 2009. We will have a small window into how the EU looks and works today and what the Treaty of Lisbon has brought to the European Union, in a positive or negative sense
