NEGATIVE IMPACT OF FISHING AND FISHING TOURISM ON THE ADRIATIC SEA ECOSYSTEM
Ekosustav čine živi i neživi pojedinci koji međusobno djeluju i funkcioniraju u istome
staništu. Ekosustav Jadranskoga mora obuhvaća mnoge organizme: od riba, preko školjkaša i
ostalih morskih organizama koji sve više odumiru. Naime, sve je jači utjecaj onečišćenja,
klimatskih promjena i ribolova uslijed čega ovaj ekosustav gubi svoju kvalitetu. Nastupa
odumiranje živih bića i smanjivanje njihovih staništa što nikako nije dobro. U Jadransko more
ulaze nove, invazivne vrste koje napadaju one „stare“, autohtone i narušavaju njihova staništa.
Osim invazivnih vrsta, veliki problem za Jadransko more i ribe u njemu čine ribolov i
ribolovni turizam.
An ecosystem is made up of living and non-living individuals that interact and function in the
same habitat. The ecosystem of the Adriatic Sea includes many organisms, from fish, shellfish
and other dying marine organisms. Namely, there is more and more pollution, climate change
and fishing, as a result of which this ecosystem is losing its qualities. There is an extinction of
living beings and the reduction of their habitats, which is not good at all. New, invasive
species are entering the Adriatic Sea, attacking the "old", autochthonous ones and disturbing
their habitats. Apart from invasive species, a big problem for the Adriatic Sea and the fish in it
is fishing and fishing tourism. Fishermen are often careless and, due to their catch, they often
have a lot of equipment left in the sea, which later affects the digestive tract of fish and other
organisms in the sea. Only spearfishing is safe in this regard because it does not have the
ability to keep anything that could harm the fish in the sea
PREVALENCE AND IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE IN TOURISM
Turizam kao vodeća gospodarska grana Hrvatske, čini veliki udio u cjelokupnom BDP-u
države što rezultira pozitivnim trendovima u svim društvenim i ekonomskim aspektima. Kako
Tourism, as a leading sector of economy of Croatia, accounts for a large share of the country’s
total GDP resulting in positive trends in all social and economic aspects. To remain competitive
in the tourism market, as well as promote the identity and all beautiful natural resources that
our country takes pride in, it is important to invest in learning and acquiring a foreign language.
Due to its geographical location and historical background, the Italian language imposes itself
as a necessary skill that needs to be mastered in order to facilitate everyday communication in
tourism
INCOME TAX IN REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
odbici i olakšice.
ekonomskoj moći i fiskalnim ciljevima. The most important income of every state are taxes. Income tax is one of the most important taxes
in modern countries, not only because of financial generosity but also because it is a suitable
instrument for achieving some non-fiscal goals. Income tax is direct tax imposed on the individual.
In Croatia, first form of income tax appeared in 1990., and during a time it passed through many
changes. Income tax in Republic of Croatia is defined by the Law of income tax, and additionally
prescribed by the Order of income tax. Law prescribes terms, sources of income, methods of
determination, calculation and payments of taxes, and also deductions and reliefs. Income tax is
different in every state, depending on her organization, economic power and fiscal targets
CROATIAN PATH TO THE EUROPEAN UNION
postaju moderne i funkcionalne demokracije.
protok roba, usluga, radne snage i kapitala, olakšani pristup tvrtki europskom tržištu,
The European Union is an intergovernmental and supranational organization of 27 European
countries. Enlargement is considered one of the most important tools of the European Union,
because by joining the European Union, states become modern and functional democracies.
The last country to join the European Union is the Republic of Croatia, which after a long
process, on 1 July 2013 became a full member of the European Union. The Republic of
Croatia has gained membership in the European Union with the possibility of equal
participation in the single European market, free movement of goods, services, labor and
capital, easier access to companies in the European market, access to some new knowledge
and technology, as well as structural and cohesion funds. a whole range of benefits, and that
is the goal of the European Union. In this paper, we get acquainted with the history, goals,
institutions, activities and members of the European Union, as well as with the entire path of
the Republic of Croatia towards membership in the European Union
GASTRONOMY AND TOURISM
pogledu, i u aspektu prehrane proširuju svoje zahtjeve, tj. traže sigurniju i zdraviju hranu.
upravo gastronomskom turizmu.
Svrha i cilj rada je prikazati pojmove turizma i gastronomije, njihov razvoj kroz povijest te
povezanost turizma i gastronomije.
Although gastronomy is a younger discipline, its beginnings go far back in history. However,
only in recent years, gastronomy has experienced an increase in its development as well as
the number of people interested in gastronomy and gastronomic tourism. As tourists become
more demanding in every way, they also expand their requirements in terms of nutrition,
which means that they are looking for safer and healthier food. Therefore, every tourist
destination that wants to be successful must pay a lot of attention to gastronomic tourism.
The purpose and goal of the paper are to present the concepts of tourism and gastronomy,
their development through history and the connection between tourism and gastronomy.
Therefore, it wants to show what is the impact of gastronomy on tourism and what is the
tourist gastronomic offer of the Republic of Croatia
THE INFLUENCE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC ADIMINISTRATION IN REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
odugovlačenjem reformi i odbacivanjem inovacija u postupcima. Upravne promjene odvijaju
stvaranje transparentne i otvorene javne uprave, uvođenje sustava razvoja i upravljanje
ljudskim potencijalima, modernizacija uprave i eksperimentiranje s elementima javnog
funkcionalne, strukturno-organizacijske i personalne. Umjesto potreba vlasti i samog
državnog upravnog mehanizma u prvi plan treba staviti građane i njihove potrebe u zajednici.
Umjesto hijerarhijskog koncepta vladanja potrebno je uspostaviti horizontalni koncept
vladavine i participativnog javnog upravljanja.
The EU has had and still has some influence on the development of public administration in
the Republic of Croatia and some progressisvisible, but it is still not enough and much more
work, political wil land determination is needed. Croatian public administration continues to
lag behind inimplementing reforms. There is strong resistance to change and modernization of
the administration in the higher professional strata, which is reflected in the delay of reforms
and there jection of innovations in procedures. Administrative changes are taking place with
constant conflicts according to the principle sof those who advocate the radical minimization
of the role of the state and those who want to preserve the traditional model of Croatian
administration as a pillar of state continuity. Croatia has created a centralized, hierarchical
system under tight control and in the service of politics at all administrative level that needs to
be changed. The current administrative changes in Croatia concern five mainissues:
decentralization and democratization, creation of a transparent and open public
administration, introduction of a development system and human resources management,
modernization of the administration and experimentation with elements of public
management. This final paper presents the conditions that the EU has set for Croatia inorder
to become a full member, there forms, iethe meures that Croatia has implemented and what
still needs to bedoneinorder to modernize and improve public administration. Public
administration in every respects hould serve the public interestand enjoy the trust of the
community, which for Croatia means that it must be focused primarily on key public issues,
accountable to citizensand must actina ccordance with the law. Special attention should be
paid to the implementation of reforms that are inter connected and interfering with each other
and can be roughly viewed from three perspectives: functional, structural-organization aland
personal. Instead of the needs of the government and the state administrative mechanism
itself, thecitizens and their needs in the community should be put in the foreground. Instead of
a hierarchical concept of governance, it is necessary to establish a horizontal concep to
fgovernance and participatory public governance. Croatia still has a lot of work to do to bring
public administrationin line with European standards
TRADITIONAL SLAVONIAN PRODUCTS IN TOURISM
i začina.
Gastronomija i
proizvodi Slavonije nisu toliko medijski popraćene kao gastronomija i proizvodi Dalmacije i Istre
Traditional cuisine is something that takes us to the past, to the very beginnings of gastronomy. It
brings us closer to the original flavors that over time have been suppressed by gastronomic
novelties and some modern versions. Traditional Slavonian cuisine is not based so much on
appearance, but on the richness of flavors and spices.
At present, the interest of gastronomes and tourists towards traditionalism is growing. Gastronomy
and products of Slavonia are not so much covered by the media as gastronomy and products of
Dalmatia and Istria in tourism, so my purpose and goal is to bring tourists closer to traditional
Slavonian products, their gastronomic offer, production and representation in tourism today and
give a better insight into why Slavonian gastronomy is rich not only by dishes and products but
also by tradition
EPIDEMIC OF COVID-19 DISEASE AND HER IMPACT ON TOURISM IN 2020
bolesti. For years, one of the most common control measures during epidemics was to restrict
movement based on medical knowledge. The coronavirus pandemic is not just a health problem,
but a threat to the entire economy. Epidemiological measures introduced to stop the spread of
the SARS-CoV-2 virus have resulted in fatal consequences for tourism, and border closures and
travel restrictions have shown how dependent countries are on each other. The coronavirus
pandemic has changed the quality of life of people by affecting human health but also finances.
Tourism is one of the most important branches in Croatia and many people earn income
exclusively from tourism. The aim of this paper is to present the impact of the pandemic on
tourism in 2020 with special reference to tourism in the Republic of Croatia, or the changes
caused by the COVID-19 disease
CHARTER OF FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION
u prosincu 2009. godine zajedno s Lisabonskim ugovorom.
The Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union is the most important document
for the protection of human rights at the level of the European Union, which was adopted in
October 2000 and entered into force in December 2009 together with the Lisbon Treaty. The
Charter contains all the fundamental rights of all who live in the Union and was introduced in
order to bring consistency and clarity to the adopted rights and its purpose is to make all these
rights obvious. In other words, the Charter is a unique and simple collection of all civil,
political, economic and social rights, and it is also a confirmation that all the inhabitants of the
European Union, thanks to it, are equal
Zaštita ljudskih prava unutar sustava Ujedinjenih naroda
i sloboda utvrđenih Ustavom, zakonima i međunarodnim pravnim aktima o ljudskim pravima
nepravilnim radom državnih tijela, tijela jedinica lokalne i područne (regionalne) samouprave
i tijela s javnim ovlastima.
With the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia from 1990, the structure of the state and legal
system was enriched with a new institution - the Ombudsman. The introduction of this
institution into the legal system of the Republic of Croatia is a consequence of the growing
efforts to care for the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, as well as the desire to avoid
possible arbitrariness of public authorities in their daily relations with citizens. According to
the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia, the Ombudsman is a proxy of the Croatian
Parliament for the promotion and protection of human rights and freedoms established by the
Constitution, laws and international legal acts on human rights and freedoms adopted by the
Republic of Croatia. The main goal of the Ombudsman is to protect the constitutional and
legal rights of citizens that may be violated by illegal or improper work of state bodies, bodies
of local and regional self-government units and bodies with public authority. The
Ombudsman is elected by the Croatian Parliament for a term of eight years with the
possibility of re-election
