The purpose of this paper is, based on the collected data, to determine the number of students included in the training of non-swimmers in the city of Rijeka; what is the proportion of non-swimmers among second grade students in 23 primary schools in the city of Rijeka and what percentage of students learned to swim after 10+ hours of swimming training. The sample of respondents, between 2008 and 2012, included 4,127 second grade students from all primary schools in the city of Rijeka. Respondents were tested during the first hour of swimming training and based on the results were divided into groups A, B and C, depending on their prior knowledge in swimming, and their last hour consisted of the final checking. In order to examine whether all second-grade students in the city of Rijeka are included in the project „Rijeka pliva“ from 2008 to 2012, the following criteria was used: number of enrolled second grade students in the city of Rijeka in the school years 2008/2009, 2009/2010, 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 according to the Draft proposals of primary school networks in the city of Rijeka. The criterion that was used to assess swimming knowledge in the initial and final testing as follows: 1 - does not know how to swim (non-swimmer) and 2 - knows how to swim (swimmer). Review of the project implementation report „Rijeka pliva“ shows that all second-grade students in the city of Rijeka were included in training of non-swimmers in the period from 2008 to 2012. Also, the documentation shows that not all children in the city of Rijeka learned to swim after training non-swimmers. The conclusion of this thesis is that the training of non-swimmers is necessary, especially because of the specifics of geographical area the experiment took place. By incorporating non-swimmer training into the school curriculum, the lack of swimming skills could be successfully eliminated

The topic of this paper is music and. movement, and the aim is to determine how both concepts affect the child and how the educator uses them in the work within the educational group. Professional ethics is a key component of every profession, including educational ones, and it enables behavior in accordance with ethical and moral standards. Children develop social competencies through everyday interactions. The theory of multiple intelligences by Howard Gardner tries to answer the question of how many types of intelligence an individual can have. The exceptional development of certain types of intelligence favors the development of a person in the direction of giftedness. Just as Gardner defines eight types of intelligence, so Renzulli and Ries define the "Three-Ring Concept of Giftedness," whose components are personality traits, abilities, and creativit
