    European plans for the recovery of maritime after the COVID-19 pandemic

    Pojavom korona virusa cijeli svijet suočio se njegovim utjecajima na razne aspekte ljudskog života. Tako je ova bolest imala utjecaja i na pomorstvo. U ovome radu opisani su utjecaji pandemije COVID-a 19 na pomorstvo koji su uglavnom negativni, no kroz rad prikazane su i neke pozitivne promjene. Negativni učinci su pogodili cijeli svijet, pa tako i Europsku uniju. Stoga je Europska unija donijela određene planove za oporavak, kojima želi pomoći svojim državama članicama da se što prije i lakše oporave od ove krize uzrokovane pandemijom. Također su prikazani i utjecaji na pomorstvo u Republici Hrvatskoj kao članici Europske unije te na koji način će raditi na oporavku. Rad sagledava sve planove oporavka te daje uvid u to kako ti planovi utječu na pomorstvo.With the appearance of the corona virus, the whole world faced its effects on various aspects of human life. This disease has also had an impact on maritime and shipping. This paper describes the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on shipping, which are mostly negative, but it also shows some positive changes. The negative effects hit the entire world, including the European union. Therefore, the European union has adopted certain recovery plans to help its member states recover as quickly and easily as possible from this crisis caused by the pandemic. Also there are shown the impacts on shipping in the Republic of Croatia as a member of the European union and how they will work towards recovery. The paper examines all recovery plans and provides insight into how these plans affect maritime and shipping

    U ovom završnom radu prikazana je važnost održivog razvoja u ekonomskom, ekološkom i socijalnom smislu. Konceptima zelene i održive logistike prikazan je utjecaj same logistike na okoliš. Uz te koncepte, važna je ljudska svijest i briga o okruženju za čije je podizanje zaslužna znanost o odnosima ljudi i okoliša, odnosno ekologija. Iako je logistika vrlo opširna i kompleksna znanstvena disciplina trudi se poštivati sve ciljeve održivog razvoja. Bez obzira na složenost udruživanja održivog razvoja u logističke sustave mnoga poduzeća nastoje biti uspješna s ciljem da ne nanose štetu okolišu i budućim generacijama. Kao jedna od važnijih sastavnica poslovnih procesa, logistika mora biti usmjerena prema održivosti.In this final paper, the importance of sustainable development in the economic, ecological and social sense is presented. The concepts of green and sustainable logistics show the impact of logistics itself on the environment. In addition to these concepts, human awareness and care for the environment has important role, for its development the science of human-environment relations or ecology is directly responsible. Although logistics is a very extensive and complex scientific discipline, it tries to respect all the goals of sustainable development. Regardless of the complexity of integrating sustainable development into logistics systems, many companies strive to be successful with the goal of not harming the environment and future generations. As one of the most important components of business processes, logistics must be oriented towards sustainability

    U ovom radu se pobliže razrađuju pojmovi umjetne inteligencije i Big Data te njihova upotreba u različitim vrstama prometa. Umjetna inteligencija je relativno noviji izraz koji se odnosi na mnogo različitih sustava i neprestano se razvija. Ona se u prometu koristi u obliku senzora, uređaja za praćenje lokacije pa sve do samovozećih automobila. Big Data je naziv za velike količine i skupove podataka koji se svakodnevno generiraju na različitim uređajima koje koristimo. Razne tvrtke koriste Big Data način grupiranja i pohrane podataka kako bi povećali efikasnost svojeg poslovanje i zadovoljstvo korisnika usluga koje nude. U drugom dijelu rada detaljnije je objašnjena uporaba ovih tehnologija i njihov utjecaj na svakodnevni život s naglaskom na načine uporabe koji olakšavaju rad zaposlenika u prometnoj industriji i šire.In this paper, the concepts of artificial intelligence and Big Data, and their use in different types of traffic, are elaborated in more detail. Artificial intelligence is a relatively new term that refers to many different systems and is constantly evolving. It is used in traffic in the form of sensors, location tracking devices and even self-driving cars. Big Data is the name for large amounts and sets of data that are generated daily on the various devices we use. Various companies use Big Data to group and store data in order to increase the efficiency of their operations and the satisfaction of users of the services they offer.In the second part of the paper, the use of this technology and its impact on everyday life is explained in more detail with the emphasis on methods of use that facilitate the work of employees in the transport industry and beyon

    Cilj je rada predočiti nastanak brzih željeznica, opisati značenje željezničke mreže te navesti pojedine infrastrukturne značajke. Brze željeznice pojavile su se 1964. godine u Japanu, zbog potražnje brzog i efikasnog načina transporta. Nakon velikoga uspjeha mreže vlakova velikih brzina u Japanu, svjetska se populacija više zainteresirala za razvoj brzih vlakova. Tijekom dvadesetoga stoljeća, sve uspješnije države imale su svoju mrežu brzih vlakova, a širenju je doprinijela i postojeća obična željeznica koja se uz nekoliko preinaka mogla pretvoriti u brzu željeznicu. Brze željeznice su pogonjene obnovljivim izvorima energije, stoga su i ekološki prihvatljive.The aim of the paper is to determine the development of high-speed railways and to describe the development of the network and infrastructure features. High-speed railways appeared in 1964 in Japan due to the demand for fast and efficient means of transport. After the success of Japan's high-speed train network, the world turned its attention to the development of high-speed trains. During the twentieth century, all the more successful countries of the world had their own network of high-speed trains. Today, these networks are being upgraded and expanded all over the world. The possibility of expansion was also contributed by the existing ordinary railway, which can be converted into a high-speed railway with a few modifications. High-speed railways are powered by renewable energy sources, which further encourages their development and expansion

Biti će opisan princip rada bluetooth tehnologije te proces izrade mobilne aplikacije koja će puslužiti kao kontroler. Također opisati će se princip ostvarivanja bluetooth veze između mobilnog uređaja i bluetooth modula te način obrade odaslanih signala u Arduino Nano mikrokontroleru.In this paper will be describe the working principle of the digital wireless controller for the ship's gangway. It will be described how does bluetooth technology work and the process of creating a mobile application that will serve as a controller will be described. It also includes the description of the principle of establishing a bluetooth connection between a mobile device and a bluetooth module and the method of processing the transmitted signals in the Arduino Nano microcontroller

    Kroz ovaj rad obrađuje se tema turizma i održivog razvoja s analizom metode integralnog načina upravljanja obalnim područjem. Integralno upravljanje obalnim područjem (IUOP) predstavlja jedan proces, odnosno konstantan ciklus kojim se provodi održivi razvoj, zaštićuje obalni prostor i brine o bioraznolikosti. Najopširniji i najbitniji dio rada predstavlja Mediteranska strategija održivog razvoja 2016-2025 koja pruža okvir strateške politike, donesen nakon širokog procesa konzultacija, za osiguranje održive budućnosti za mediteransku regiju u skladu s ciljevima održivog razvoja.This thesis deals with the topic of tourism and sustainable development with an analysis of methods of integral management of the coastal area. Integral coastal area management represents a constant cycle, which implements sustainable development, protects the coastal area and takes care of biodiversity. The most extensive and essential part of the thesis is the Mediterranean strategy for sustainable development 2016-2025 which provides a strategic policy framework, adopted after a broad consultation process, to ensure a sustainable future for the Mediterranean region in line with the sustainable development goals

    Rad obrađuje temu inteligentnih transportnih sustava, nastalih na ideji nadogradnje klasičnih sustava upravljanja prometom, istraživanjem i analiziranjem svih prilika koje su inteligentni transportni sustavi omogućili u prometnom sustavu diljem svijeta, kao i one koje će tek omogućiti. Rad utvrđuje koristi korištenja inteligentnih transportnih sustava, utemeljenih na komponenti umjetne inteligencije, u svrhu rješavanja prometnih i transportnih problema, odnosno, prometnih opterećenja i zagušenja te manjka sigurnosti, kao i povećanja efikasnosti, protočnosti i performansi prometnih sustava, čime inteligentni transportni sustavi pronalaze svoju ulogu u cestovnom, prometnom i željezničkom prometnom sustavu, kao i u mnogim drugim. Pozitivan utjecaj na radnu učinkovitost, mobilnost, smanjenje broja nesreća, kao i smanjenje potrošnje energije i povećanu zaštitu okoliša, dovesti će do budućeg razvoja sve suvremenijih i sofisticiranijih sustava za inteligentno upravljanje prometom u svim granama prometa.The paper deals with the topic of intelligent transport systems, created on the idea of upgrading classic traffic management systems, by researching and analyzing all the opportunities that intelligent transport systems have made possible in the transport system around the world, as well as those that will be made possible in the future. The work determines the benefits of using intelligent transport systems, based on the component of artificial intelligence, for the purpose of solving traffic and transport problems, i.e., traffic loads and congestion and lack of safety, as well as increasing the efficiency, flow and performance of transport systems, whereby intelligent transport systems find their role in the road, transport and railway transport system, as well as in many others. The positive impact on work efficiency, mobility, reduction of the number of accidents, as well as reduction of energy consumption and increased environmental protection, will lead to the future development of increasingly modern and sophisticated systems for intelligent traffic management in all branches of traffic

    S obzirom na napredak računalne tehnologije u pomorskoj industriji, primjetan je sve veći rizik od računalnih napada. Porast takvih napada zahtijeva uspostavu novih sigurnosnih standarda i pravila. Pomorska industrija privlači napadače zbog svoje uloge u trgovačkom prometu i visokih financijskih transakcija. Promjene u prijetnjama, uključujući terorističke i piratske napade, mijenjaju motivaciju napadača. Neprekidno napredovanje napadačkih tehnika dovodi u pitanje sigurnost sustava. Kako bi održala sigurnost, pomorska industrija treba ulagati u edukaciju kako bi povećala razinu informatičke pismenosti i osviještenosti o kibernetičkim prijetnjama. Iako je sigurnosni aspekt u pomorskom sektoru još uvijek u razvoju, ne smije se zanemariti.Given the advancement of computer technology in the maritime industry, we are witnessing an increasing risk of cyber-attacks. The rise in such attacks calls for the establishment of new security standards and regulations. The maritime industry attracts attackers due to its involvement in trade activities and high-value financial transactions. Changing threats, including terrorist and pirate attacks, alter the motivation of attackers. The continuous advancement of attack techniques raises concerns about system security. To maintain security, the maritime industry needs to invest in education to enhance levels of digital literacy and awareness of cyber threats. While the security aspect in the maritime sector is still developing, it should not be overlooked

    Ovaj završni rad obuhvaća i kroz njega je obrađena analiza kontejnerskog brodarstva. Kroz navedenu analizu interpretiran je povijesni razvitak kontejnerskih brodova kroz generacije razvoja, njihova svrha, definicija kontejnerizacije, te njene prednosti i nedostatci. Osim vrsta kontejnera obraća se posebna pozornost na brodove za prijevoz kontejnera VIII. generacije, njihovim karakteristikama te onome što je doprinijelo razvoju iste generacije i što ih to razlikuje od prethodnih generacija konkretnije od 1956.godine pa sve do danas.This final paper includes and through it is processed the analysis of container shipping. Through the aforementioned analysis, the historical development of container ships through generation of development, their purpose, the definition of conteinerization, and its advantages and disadvantages were interpreted. In addition to the types of containers, special attention is paid to ships for transporting containers VIII. generations, their characteristics and what contributed to development of the same generation and what distinguishes them from previous generation, more specifically from 1956 until today

    Tema ovog završnog rada je automatizacija separatora goriva na brodu. Separator goriva je uređaj koji se koristi za odvajanje nečistoća i vode iz goriva kako bi se osiguralo čisto gorivo za motor. Separator koristi princip centrifugalne sile kako bi odvojio teže nečistoće od lakšeg goriva. Separatori su vrlo često dizajnirani u određenim fazama. Separator prvog stupnja koristi se ta primarnu separaciju faza, dok se separatori drugog i trećeg stupnja koriste za pojedinačnu obradu faze. Separatori se također nazivaju i sredstva za otplinjavanje. Kako bi se mogli nositi s udarima tekućine, trebali bi imati definiranu veličinu.The topic of this final paper is the automation of fuel separators on board. A fuel separator is a device used to separate impurities and water from the fuel to provide clean fuel for the engine. The separator uses the principle of centrifugal force to separate heavier impurities from lighter fuel. Separators are very often designed in certain stages. The first-stage separator is used for primary phase separation, while the second- and third-stage separators are used for individual phase processing. Separators are also called degassing agents. In order to be able to cope with liquid impacts, they should have a defined size
