No full textNeočekivani događaj je nepredviđena okolnost koja remeti normalan tijek poslovanja poput prirodne katastrofe, iznenadnog manjka osoblja, neočekivanih poremećaja na tržištu i sl. Jedan od takvih nepredvidivih događaja su i događaji „crnog labuda“. Događaji „crnog labuda“ se odnose na događaje sa iznimno malom vjerojatnošću, ali s velikim utjecajem koji su po prirodi razorni. Mogu se brzo razviti iz niza ili kombinacije čimbenika, uključujući ljudsku pogrešku, nemar, zlonamjerne radnje ili prirodne nepogode. Mogu paralizirati rad poduzeća na određeno vrijeme ili čak dovesti do propadanja poduzeća. Ovakvi događaji zahtijevaju brzo razmišljanje i brzu akciju kako bi se spriječili daljnji poremećaji, očuvala imovina tvrtke, zaštitila dobrobit zaposlenika i sl., a što će sve biti predstavljeno u nastavku rada.An unexpected event is an unforeseen circumstance that disrupts the normal course of business, such as a natural disaster, a sudden shortage of staff, unexpected disruptions in the market, etc. One of such unpredictable events are "black swan" events. Black swan events refer to extremely low probability but high impact events that are devastating in nature. They can develop rapidly from a number or combination of factors, including human error, negligence, malicious acts, or natural disasters. They can paralyze the work of the company for a certain period of time or even lead to the collapse of the company. Such events require quick thinking and quick action in order to prevent further disruptions, preserve the company's assets, protect the well-being of employees, etc., all of which will be presented in the continuation of the work
Labour Market Trends in Croatia
No full textTržište rada u Hrvatskoj posljednjih godina prolazi kroz značajne promjene, uvjetovane različitim faktorima, poput demografskih promjena, migracija, globalnih ekonomskih trendova te utjecaja pandemije COVID-19. Hrvatska se suočava s iseljavanjem radno sposobnog stanovništva, pogotovo mladih, što dodatno opterećuje tržište rada. Zbog toga se smanjuje broj radnika, što doprinosi pritiscima na mirovinski sustav i gospodarstvo u cjelini. Sezonski poslovi, posebice u turizmu, i dalje igraju ključnu ulogu na tržištu rada, ali je sezonska radna snaga postala oskudna, zbog čega dolazi do uvoza radne snage iz inozemstva. U radu su analizirani trendovi na tržištu rada u RH analizom stopa nezaposlenosti, stopa zaposlenosti, stopa participacije i visine nadnica. Analiza sugerira da hrvatsko gospodarstvo bilježi relativno velike stope nezaposlenost te ga obilježava spora dinamika otvaranja novih radnih mjesta zbog više čimbenika, uključujući i nefleksibilno tržište rada koje sporo reagira na promjene, stvarajući dugotrajnu nezaposlenost i socijalnu isključenost. Iz rezultata istraživanja je evidentno kako bolji položaj na tržištu rada imaju muškarci te visokoobrazovane osobe u odnosu na žene i osobe s manjom razinom obrazovanja od tercijarne.The Croatian labour market has changed significantly in recent years due to various factors such as demographic change, migration, global economic trends and the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Croatia is faced with the emigration of the working-age population, especially young people, which puts further pressure on the labour market. As a result, the number of employees is falling, which is putting a strain on the pension system and the economy as a whole. Seasonal jobs, especially in tourism, continue to play an important role in the labour market, but the number of seasonal workers is declining, which is why workers are being imported from abroad. The paper analyses the trends in the labour market in the Republic of Croatia based on unemployment rates, employment rates, participation rates and wages. The analysis shows that the Croatian economy is characterized by relatively high unemployment and slow dynamics in the creation of new jobs due to several factors, including an inflexible labour market that reacts slowly to changes, leading to long-term unemployment and social exclusion. The results of the study show that men and people with a high level of education have a better position in the labour market than women and people with a lower level of education
Management of Allergens in Restaurants
No full textSvrha rada je objasniti upravljanje alergenima u ugostiteljskim objektima. Cilj rada je proširiti znanje o alergenima u hrani. Upravljanje alergenima u ugostiteljskim objektima nije svuda isto. TakoĎer je različita vrsta obuke kod osoblja. Stoga znanja o alergenima kod osoblja nisu ista, kao ni način komuniciranja s posjetiteljima restorana u vezi njihove alergije i alergena u hrani. Pogreške koje su dovele do alergijskih reakcija zbog konzumacije obroka pripremljenih u restoranima pripisuju se prazninama u znanju osoblja, pogrešnoj komunikaciji i/ili neadekvatnim praksama kontrole alergena (npr. neučinkovita prevencija unakrsnog kontakta).The purpose of the paper is to explain the management of allergens in catering facilities. The goal of the work is to expand knowledge about allergens in food. Allergen management in catering establishments is not the same everywhere. There is also a different type of staff training. Therefore, the staff's knowledge about allergens is not the same, as is the way of communicating with restaurant visitors regarding their allergies and food allergens. Errors that have led to allergic reactions due to the consumption of meals prepared in restaurants have been attributed to gaps in staff knowledge, miscommunication, and/or inadequate allergen control practices (eg, ineffective cross-contact prevention)

No full textKontejnerski brodovi predstavljaju neizostavan čimbenik u globalnoj trgovini, prevozeći značajni dio robe koja pokreće moderno gospodarstvo. Kroz povijest, kontejnerski brodovi su se razvili iz malih brodova u ultra brodove koji mogu prevoziti više od 20.000 dvadeset stopnih kontejnera. Ovaj rad istražuje najveće kontejnerske brodove koji su trenutno u eksploataciji, najvažnije globalne luke koje omogućavaju njihovo poslovanje i najveće kontejnerske kompanije koje predvode pomorsku industriju. Porast ultra-velikih kontejnerskih brodova (ULCV, Ultra Large Container Vessel) je rezultat novih dostignuća inženjeringa i zahtijeva naprednu infrastrukturu i tehnološke inovacije u lukama i brodarskim kompanijama diljem svijeta.Container ships are an indispensable factor in global trade, transporting a significant portion of the goods that drive the modern economy. Throughout the history, container ships are followed by development, from small ships into megaships that can carry more than 20,000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit). This paper examines the largest container ships currently in operation, the most important global ports that facilitate operations and the carriers that lead the maritime industry. The rise of ultra-large container ships (ULCVs) is the result of new developments in engineering and logistics, as their realization required advanced infrastructure and technological innovation in ports and shipping companies around the world
Neurological manifestation of Wilson's disease
No full textWilsonova bolest ili hepatolentikularna degeneracija je nasljedni poremećaj metabolizma bakra koji dovodi do njegovog nakupljanja u jetri, mozgu i drugim organima. Neurološke manifestacije ove bolesti uključuju pseudoparkinsonizam, pseudosklerozu i miješani ili „aritmičko-hiperkinetski“ oblik bolesti. Prisutnost ekstrapiramidnih simptoma nejasne etiologije, osobito kod mlađih osoba, predstavlja indikaciju za kliničkom obradom s ciljem isključivanja Wilsonove bolesti. Ranom dijagnozom i adekvatnim liječenjem značajno se poboljšava klinička prognoza kod ovih bolesnika. U ovom preglednom radu prikazane su najnovije spoznaje o epidemiologiji, patofiziologiji, kliničkoj slici, neurološkim manifestacijama, dijagnostičkim kriterijima, diferencijalnoj dijagnozi i liječenju, kao i ulozi medicinske sestre/tehničara u zdravstvenoj skrbi pacijenta s Wilsonovom bolesti. Uz navedeno prikazan je i atipičan slučaj pacijentice s Wilsonovom bolesti.Wilson's disease, or hepatolenticular degeneration, is a hereditary disorder of copper metabolism that leads to its accumulation in the liver, brain, and other organs. Neurological manifestations of this disease include pseudoparkinsonism, pseudosclerosis, and a mixed or "arrhythmic-hyperkinetic" form of the disease. Therefore, in all younger people with extrapyramidal symptoms, it is necessary to rule out Wilson's disease. Early diagnosis and adequate treatment significantly improve the clinical prognosis of these patients. This review presents the latest knowledge about epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical picture, neurological manifestations, diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis and treatment, as well as the role of the nurse/technician in the health care of a patient with Wilson's disease. In addition to the above, an atypical case of a patient with Wilson's disease is presented
The specifics of public relations in sports using the example of the Croatian judo federation
No full textDiplomski rad pod naslovom „Specifičnosti odnosa s javnošću u sportu na primjeru Hrvatskog judo saveza“ analizira kako se odnosi s javnošću oblikuju i prilagođavaju ciljnoj javnosti putem različitih kanala komunikacije s posebnim naglaskom na Hrvatski judo savez. Popraćeni su i segmenti društveno odgovornog poslovanja i ukazana je važnost istog za kvalitetne i drugoročne odnose s javnošću.
U ovom diplomskom radu prikazani su specifični, različiti projekti pod organizacijom Hrvatskog judo saveza i analizirana je komunikacija navedenih projekata i predstavljanje istih ciljnim javnostima na društvenim mrežama. Hrvatski judo savez izabran je kao predmet istraživanja ovog rada jer provodi projekte koji su primjeri dobre prakse, iz kojih bi se mogli donositi neki opći zaključci o komunikaciji sportskih projekata, koji su neizbježan dio odnosa s javnošću u sportu.
Istraživanje je bazirano na analizi online komunikacije putem službenih profila Hrvatskog judo saveza s fokusom na projekte koji su usmjereni na osnaživanje odnosa s različitim javnostima. U tu svrhu su u radu prvo predstavljeni specifični projekti, a potom je u istraživačkom dijelu napravljena analiza sadržaja društvenih mreža i dan je pregled korištenja Instagrama, Facebooka i YouTubea kao kanala komuniciranja s ciljnim javnostima.
Završni dio rada donosi zaključke o tome kako su odnosi s javnošću ključni za dugoročni uspjeh sportskih organizacija. Uspješna PR strategija omogućuje sportskim organizacijama poput Hrvatskog judo saveza ne samo da promoviraju sportske rezultate već i da izgrade prepoznatljiv identitet putem ostalih projekata kako na nacionalnoj tako i na međunarodnoj razini, a ujedno i značajno doprinesu cjelokupnom društvu.The thesis titled "The Specifics of Public Relations in Sports on the Example of the Croatian Judo Federation" analyzes how public relations are shaped and adapted to target audiences through various communication channels, with a special focus on the Croatian Judo Federation. It also addresses segments of corporate social responsibility and highlights the importance of these aspects for quality and long-term public relations.
This thesis presents specific and diverse projects organized by the Croatian Judo Federation and analyzes the communication of these projects and their presentation to target audiences on social media. The Croatian Judo Federation was chosen as the subject of this research because it implements projects that serve as examples of best practices, from which some general conclusions about the communication of sports projects, which are an inevitable part of public relations in sports, could be drawn.
The research is based on the analysis of online communication through the official profiles of the Croatian Judo Federation, focusing on projects aimed at strengthening relationships with various publics. For this purpose, the thesis first presents specific projects, followed by a content analysis of social media in the research section, providing an overview of the use of Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube as communication channels with target audiences.
The final part of the thesis concludes that public relations are crucial for the long-term success of sports organizations. A successful PR strategy enables sports organizations like the Croatian Judo Federation not only to promote sports results but also to build a recognizable identity through other projects both nationally and internationally, while also making a significant contribution to society as a whole
Formulation and Implementation of Corporate Strategies on the Example of the Hotel Industry in the Republic of Croatia
No full textU današnjem sve neizvjesnijem i konkurentnom poslovnom okruženju, neophodno je da svako poduzeće ima dobro osmišljenu strategiju poslovanja. U skladu s tim, razvijen je i strategijski menadžment, koji sve više dobiva na važnosti u korporativnom svijetu. Uz pomoć strategijskog menadžmenta, poduzeća donose i provode poslovne odluke na najbolji način i u skladu s unaprijed određenim ciljevima poduzeća. Strategijski menadžment, kao takav, poduzećima donosi mnogobrojne prednosti. Korporativne strategije mogu se podijeliti na glavnu strategiju i portfolio stratešku analizu, a svako poduzeće samostalno odlučuje koju vrstu strategije će oblikovati i implementirati u svoje poslovanje i ovisno o svojim potrebama. U ovom radu govorit će se upravo o formuliranju i implementaciji korporativnih strategija na primjeru hotelskih poduzeća. Turizam kao jedna od vodećih svjetskih gospodarskih djelatnosti vrlo je važan sektor i u Republici Hrvatskoj, a sve veća konkurentnost na turističkom tržištu zahtijeva i primjenu odgovarajućih korporativnih strategija.In today's increasingly uncertain and competitive business environment, it is necessary for every company to have a well-designed business strategy. Accordingly, strategic management was developed, which is gaining more and more importance in the corporate world. With the help of strategic management, companies make and implement business decisions in the best way and in accordance with predetermined company goals. Strategic management, as such, brings numerous advantages to companies. Corporate strategies can be divided into main strategy and portfolio strategic analysis, and each company independently decides which type of strategy to design and implement in its business and depending on its needs. This paper will discuss the formulation and implementation of corporate strategies on the example of hotel companies. Ugoda koju pojedinac osjeća unutar prostora u kojem boravi osnovna je motivacija za zagrijavanje ili rashlađivnje prostora. Dizalice topline sve popularniji su izvor topline za sustave grijanja i hlađenja. U Hrvatskoj se sve više investitora u izgradnju obiteljskih kuća odlučuje za energetska riješenja s primjenom dizalice topline. Dizalica topline može se koristiti u razne svrhe, a neke od najznačajnijih su grijanje i hlađenje stambenih odnosno poslovnih prostora, te priprema potrošne tople vode. Primjenom dizalice topline moguće je dobiti nekoliko puta vše energije u odnosu na uloženu, jer se dio energije uzima iz obnovljivih izvora. Zato će u budućnosti, ponestajanjem konvencionalnih izvora energije i njihovim poskupljenjem, postati sve popularnije.Application of cooling and heating techniques is one of the most significant achievements. The comfort that an individual feels inside the space in which he resides is the basic motivation for heating or cooling the space. Heat pumps are an increasingly popular source of heat for heating and cooling systems. In Croatia, more and more investors in the construction of family houses are opting for energy solutions with the use of heat pumps. The heat pump can be used for a variety of purposes, and some of the most important are heating and cooling of residential and commercial spaces, as well as the preparation of domestic hot water. By using a heat pump, it is possible to get several times more energy compared to the investment, because part of the energy is taken from renewable sources. That is why in the future, as conventional energy sources run out and their prices rise, they will become more and more popular

ciljem stvaranja modularnog i robusnog sustava jednostavnog za održavanje i skaliranje. Ovaj
diplomski rad istražuje primjenu Clean Arhitekture u razvoju REST API-ja za sustav
sveučilišne knjižnice. U radu su opisane motivacija, prednosti i izazovi Clean Arhitekture.
Također, opisana su i načela koja su važna za primjenu Clean Arhitekture nad programom.
Pokazana je praktična primjena arhitekture dodavanjem nove funkcionalnosti u programu, kao
i razni testovi za osiguravanje pouzdanosti i integriteta programa. Implementirane su i razne
tehnologije poput CI/CD cjevovoda kako bi se što bolje i jednostavnije osigurala dosljednost
programa.Clean Architecture is a form of architecture that emphasizes clear separation of concerns
with the goal of creating a modular and robust system that is easy to maintain and scale. This
thesis explores the application of Clean Architecture in the development of a REST API for a
university library system. Motivation, advantages, and disadvantages of Clean Architecture are
also described. Additionally, it outlines the principles that are important for applying Clean
Architecture to a program. The practical application of the architecture is demonstrated by
adding new functionality to the program, as well as various tests to ensure the reliability and
integrity of the program. Various technologies, such as CI/CD pipelines, are also implemented
to ensure consistency
