    No full text
Rad istražuje javnu percepciju Andrewa Tatea i kako Tateove poruke o tradicionalnim rodnim ulogama, financijskoj neovisnosti i samoostvarenju rezoniraju s njegovim pratiteljima, te kako digitalne zajednice poput Manosfere doprinose širenju tih ideja.Changes in gender roles and the perception of masculinity in modern times have led to the phenomenon of the "crisis of masculinity." Within the context of this phenomenon, Andrew Tate emerged, a former kickboxer and internet influencer, known for his controversial views on masculinity, gender relations, and social norms. His popularity has significantly risen through digital platforms, where he uses a rhetoric of self-help and a critique of contemporary social norms to attract loyal followers. This thesis explores the public perception of Andrew Tate and how his messages about traditional gender roles, financial independence, and self-actualization resonate with his followers, as well as how digital communities like the Manosphere contribute to the spread of these idea

This master's thesis explores the satisfaction of ship crews, with a specific focus on working conditions, working hours, and psychological pressures. Using a survey, the study emphasizes multiculturalism as a key element of the maritime environment and its impact on team dynamics and communication. Factors such as salaries, team communication, opportunities for advancement, and perceptions of fairness by superiors were investigated. The research findings indicate that well-paid crew members experience higher satisfaction with team communication, while a lack of advancement opportunities often stems from insufficiently explained job tasks. Recognition for good performance and opportunities for professional development shape sailors' work experiences. Multiculturalism within the crew has proven to be an advantage contributing to a positive work environment. The study concludes that sailors' social skills regarding multiculturalism strongly correlate with satisfaction in communication aboard, and job satisfaction is directly linked to better collaboration with superiors. Based on the research findings, measures are proposed to improve working conditions and interpersonal relationships on board, with a particular emphasis on the benefits of multiculturalism in modern maritime settings

Gregal, as the first student magazine in Dubrovnik, emerged in 1996 and persisted until 2001. It originated at a technical faculty, without foundations or experience, during the postwar period of Dubrovnik and the transition into the digital era. Its roots stem from the enthusiasm of students gathering in a room with the only available computers connected to the internet. Although initially focusing on maritime topics, student issues soon became a priority. Despite initial skepticism, over the years, Gregal evolved into a genuine student magazine covering a wide range of topics, including politics and society. It also became the first student magazine in Croatia with an online edition. Its activity extended beyond publishing to organizing various events, promoting freedom of expression. Despite its significance, the magazine ceased publication at the end of 2001, coinciding with the restructuring of the college into a university. Gregal, in its five-year existence, left an indelible mark not only within student circles but also in the broader social context of Dubrovnik, significantly impacting the professional destiny of many participants

The hotel industry is one of the most globally competitive and fastest-growing industries. As such, it is also an important lever in generating a country's gross domestic product. The main emphasis of every successful hotel management is to improve the quality of the offer daily to attract new guests, retain old guests and thus maintain their competitiveness. Therefore, the main purpose of this final paper, in addition to the given theoretical framework, is to investigate and measure the satisfaction of guests with the services provided in the hotel industry. With this in mind, a set of parameters was chosen, that is, statements that shape the perception of the expected and experienced quality of hotel services, specifically at the Morenia Hotel. Using descriptive statistics techniques, primary data collected through a survey questionnaire in the period from April 30 to May 12, 2024, were processed and suggested the following results. Namely, the obtained results show that the total average rating of the expected quality of services upon arrival of guests at the hotel was 4.9, while the result related to the quality of services during and at the end of the stay in the hotel is slightly worse and amounts to 4.6. This research showed that the largest deviation between the expected and actual perception of quality was recorded in the category “Hotel decoration”, and the smallest deviation was recorded in the category “Responsiveness and expertise oh the hotel staff”, amounting to 0.34 points. All the results imply that the guests of Hotel Morenia are satisfied with the quality of the services offered and that the hotel has a successful service quality policy, which is recognized and rewarded by the guests who spend their time there
