Text – and workbooks for the first year of teaching German as a foregin language at Croatian primary schools
In dieser Diplomarbeit geht es um die Präsentation einer qualitativen Analyse laut Herr Hermann Funk (2004) anhand von vier Lehrbüchern und begleitenden Arbeitsbüchern, die vom Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Bildung und Jugend für das Erlernen der deutschen Sprache an Grundschulen in Republik Kroatien vorgeschrieben sind. Mit der qualitativen Analyse von Herrn Hermann wird im Detail der Aufbau der vier Lehr- und Arbeitsbücher für die deutsche Sprache als obligathorische erste Lehrsprache im Lehrplan für die ersten Klassen in Republik Kroatien dargestellt. Wenn man jedes Lehr- und Arbeitsbuch gemäß der obigen Analyse einzeln durchgeht, kann man deutlich erkennen, ob und im welchem Umfang diese Indikatoren erfüllt sind oder nicht.U ovom diplomskom radu riječ je o prikazu kvalitativne analize prema Hermannu Funku (2004) kroz četiri udženika i prateće im radne bilježnice propisane od strane Ministarstva znanosti, obrazovanja i mladih za učenje njemačkog jezika u 1. razredima kao prvog stranog jezika u osnovnim školama Republike Hrvatske. Prilikom prikaza Funkove kvalitativne analize želi se pobliže prikazati struktura navedena četiri udžbenika i prateće radne bilježnice za njemački jezik kao obavezni prvi strani jezik unutar kurikuluma za prve razrede osnovnih škola u Republici Hrvatskoj. Prolazeći svaki udžbenik i radnu bilježnicu zasebno po navedenoj analizi, može se jasno vidjeti ispunjavaju li se ti pokazatelji ili ne i u kojoj mjeri.The graduation thesis is about the presentation of qualitative analysis by Hermann Funk (2004) throguh four textbooks and accompanying workbooks prescribed by the Ministry of science, education and youth for learning German language in first grades as the first foregin language in elementary schools in the Republic of Croatia. When presenting the qualitative analysis of Funk, we want to show in detail the structure of the four textbooks and accompanying workbooks for the German language as a mandatory first foregin language within the curriculum for the first grades of elementary schools in the Republic of Croatia. Going through each textbook and workbook separately according to the above analysis, it can be clearly seen whether these indicators are met or not and to what extent
Example and practice of virtue of life : the interpretation of Marulić's Institutions in the key of the philosophy of shaping life
Naš rad se temelji na hermeneutičkom pristupu kojim se Marulićevo djelo Institucija tumači u ključu filozofije kao umijeća življenja, odnosno oblikovanja načina života. Pritom polazimo od triju ključnih pojmova: duhovne vježbe, tehnologija sebstva i antropotehnika. Navedeni koncepti predstavljaju srž asketološkog obrata u suvremenoj filozofiji, čiji su istaknuti predstavnici Pierre Hadot, Michel Foucault i Peter Sloterdijk. Cilj nam je uočiti i opisati određene elemente filozofske askeze koje je Marulić koristio prilikom pisanja vlastitoga djela, zamišljenog kao priručnik za oblikovanje kršćanskoga načina života po uzoru na svece. Kako bi čitatelja priveo k blaženom i čestitom životu, Marulić se, prvenstveno posredstvom patrističke književnosti i srednjovjekovne hagiografije, oslanjao na niz duhovnih tehnika i vježbi koje pomažu izgraditi evanđeoski način života, pojmljen kao nasljedovanje Krista. Znatan dio tih duhovnih vježbi potječe iz antičke filozofske tradicije, uglavnom platonističke i stoičke, te je kasnije modificiran i prilagođen obilježjima i ciljevima kršćanske duhovnosti. Budući da se Marulićev magnum opus De institutione obično interpretiralo kao hagiografsko djelo namijenjeno propovjednicima ili kao moralno-didaktički priručnik, gotovo da nema naznaka stručne analize koja bi spomenuto djelo tumačila, na njegovoj kompozicijskoj i sadržajnoj razini, u svjetlu antičkih filozofskih duhovnih vježbi ili pak duhovnog vodstva. Stoga držimo kako će naš specifičan pristup tom djelu omogućiti produbljenije razumijevanje njegova sadržaja, jasnije poimanje njegove žanrovske pripadnosti kao i bogate intertekstualne slojevitosti. Naime, asketološka i psihagogička pragmatika, kojom se Marulić rukovodio pišući Instituciju, uvjetuje kako tematsku raspodjelu i pripovjedni stil tako i narativnu strategiju i strukturu samoga djela. Značenje pojedinih pripovjednih sekvenci i anegdotskih minijatura uvijek je podređeno osnovnoj spiritualnoj svrsi i uklopljeno u obuhvatniju strukturu koja polazi od obraćenja a završava vječnim blaženstvom u zajedništvu s Bogom.Our work is based on a hermeneutical approach that interprets Marulić's work Institutions in the key of philosophy as the art of living, or shaping the way of life. In doing so, we start from three key concepts: spiritual exercises, technology of the self and anthropotechnics. These concepts are at the heart of the ascetical turn in contemporary philosophy, whose prominent representatives are Pierre Hadot, Michel Foucault and Peter Sloterdijk. Our aim is to identify and describe certain elements of philosophical asceticism that Marulić used when writing his own work, conceived as a manual for shaping the Christian way of life according to the example of the saints as a role models. In order to lead the reader to a blessed and virtuous life, Marulić relied, primarily through patristic literature and medieval hagiography, on a series of spiritual techniques and excercises that help build an evangelical way of life, understood as an imitation of Christ. A significant part of these spiritual exercises originates from the ancient philosophical tradition, mainly Platonic and Stoic, and was later modified and adapted to the features and goals of Christian spirituality. Since Marulić's magnum opus De institutione was usually interpreted as a hagiographic work intended for preachers or as a moral-didactic handbook, there is almost no indication of an expert analysis that would interpret the mentioned work, on its compositional and content level, in the light of ancient philosophical spiritual exercises or spiritual guidance. Therefore, we believe that our specific approach to this work will enable a deeper understanding of its content, a clearer understanding of its genre affiliation as well as its rich intertextual layering. Namely, ascetological and psychagogical pragmatics, which Marulić was guided by when writing the Institution, determines both the thematic distribution and narrative style, as well as the narrative strategy and structure of the work itself. The meaning of individual narrative sequences and anecdotal miniatures is always subordinated to a basic spiritual purpose and incorporated into a more comprehensive structure that begins with conversion and ends with eternal bliss in communion with God
Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on changes in the habits of early and preschool children
Cilj ovoga diplomskoga rada i istraživanja bio je istražiti na koji je način COVID-19 pandemija utjecala na djecu, njihove navike, ponašanje i njihov cjelokupni razvoj. Budući da je navedena pandemija u velikoj mjeri utjecala na način života mnogih pojedinaca, obitelji i zajednica, može se reći kako je to dob u kojem je naglo došlo do promjena čije će se posljedice vidjeti i nekoliko godina kasnije. Rad se sastoji od teorijskoga i istraživačkoga dijela. U teorijskome dijelu iznose se činjenice i objašnjava se što je to COVID-19 pandemija, zašto je manje opasan za djecu rane i predškolske dob te na koji način utječe na kognitivni, tjelesni i socio-emocionalni razvoj kao i na navike djece rane i predškolske dobi. Nakon teorijskoga dijela slijedi istraživački dio, a čiji su rezultati prikazani u ovome radu pomoću tablica i grafova. Utjecaj ove pandemije vidljiv je u svim aspektima dječjega razvoja, a do promjene je došlo zbog novih načina rada, izbjegavanja određenih materijala, skupina i načinima dolazaka u dječji vrtić gdje se s roditeljima većinom opraštaju na ulaznim vratim vrtića, a ne na vratima sobe dnevnoga boravka skupine.The aim of this thesis and research was to investigate how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected children, their habits, behaviour, and their overall development. Since the aforementioned pandemic has greatly affected the lifestyle of many individuals, families, and communities, it can be said that this is an age in which changes have suddenly occurred, the consequences of which will be seen several years later. The work consists of a theoretical and research part. The theoretical part presents the facts and explains what the COVID-19 pandemic is, why it is less dangerous for early and preschool children, and how it affects the cognitive, physical, and socio-emotional development, as well as the habits of early and preschool children. The research part follows the theoretical part, the results of which are presented in this work using tables and graphs. The impact of this pandemic is visible in all aspects of children’s development. The change has occurred due to new ways of working, avoiding certain materials, groups, and ways of arriving at kindergarten, where parents mostly say goodbye at the entrance door of the kindergarten, rather than at the door of the group’s living roo
Application of e-learning and distance learning in the conduct of teaching in nautical study programs
Diplomski rad istražuje primjenu e-učenja i učenja na daljinu u izvođenju nastave na studijskim programima nautičkog smjera. S obzirom na specifične zahtjeve obrazovanja pomorskih stručnjaka, koje uključuje teorijska znanja i praktične vještine, cilj istraživanja bio je analizirati učinkovitost digitalnih metoda podučavanja i njihov utjecaj na kvalitetu obrazovanja. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na izazove i prednosti integracije e-učenja u obrazovne programe koji zahtijevaju visok stupanj praktične obuke. U radu su prikazani primjeri uspješne implementacije e-učenja i učenja na daljinu u nautičkim programima, kao i rezultati anketa provedenih među studentima. Rezultati pokazuju da e-učenje može značajno doprinijeti teorijskom dijelu obrazovanja, dok se u segmentu praktične obuke i dalje javljaju poteškoće u postizanju potrebne razine kompetencija. Također su razmotrene tehnološke i pedagoške inovacije koje mogu poboljšati ovu integraciju i osigurati kvalitetno obrazovanje u digitalnom okruženju. Rad predlaže smjernice za budući razvoj e-učenja i učenja na daljinu u nautičkim studijskim programima, s ciljem zadržavanja visoke razine obrazovanja i prilagodbe modernim tehnološkim zahtjevima. Preporučuju se kombinirani modeli učenja koji uključuju tradicionalne i digitalne metode, uz dodatnu podršku studentima u stjecanju praktičnih vještina putem simulacija i interaktivnih tehnologija.The master's thesis investigates the application of e-learning and distance learning in the teaching of study programs in the nautical field. Considering the specific requirements of the education of maritime experts, which include theoretical knowledge and practical skills, the aim of the research was to analyze the effectiveness of digital teaching methods and their impact on the quality of education. Special emphasis is placed on the challenges and benefits of integrating e-learning into educational programs that require a high degree of practical training. The paper presents examples of successful implementation of e-learning and distance learning in nautical programs, as well as the results of surveys conducted among students. The results show that e-learning can significantly contribute to the theoretical part of education, while in the segment of practical training there are still difficulties in achieving the required level of competence. Also discussed are technological and pedagogical innovations that can improve this integration and ensure quality education in a digital environment. The paper proposes guidelines for the future development of e-learning and distance learning in nautical study programs, with the aim of maintaining a high level of education and adapting to modern technological requirements. Blended learning models that include traditional and digital methods are recommended, with additional support for students in acquiring practical skills through simulation and interactive technologies
Liquid natural gas ship mooring analysis in port of Gazenica
Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se analizom sustava priveza broda za prijevoz UPP (ukapljenog prirodnog plina) u luci Gaženica. S obzirom na specifične izazove koje donosi transport UPP-a, cilj rada je procijeniti tehničke, sigurnosne i ekološke aspekte vezane uz privezivanje UPP brodova, te analizirati moguća poboljšanja postojećeg sustava. Sigurno privezivanje UPP brodova u luci Gaženica ključno je za učinkovite prekrcajne operacije, ali i za minimiziranje rizika od nesreća i ekoloških šteta. Ovaj rad analizira tehničke parametre sustava priveza, uključujući vrstu privezne opreme, utjecaj vanjskih faktora (vjetar, valovi, morske struje i morske mijene) te optimalne kutove privezivanja. Također, razmatra sigurnosne izazove, poput rizika od curenja UPP-a i drugih nesreća, te ekološke aspekte povezane s transportom ukapljenog plina. Poseban fokus rada je na analizi postojeće infrastrukture u luci Gaženica, uključujući privezne utvrdnice, te na korištenju naprednih tehnologija poput senzora za praćenje sila koje djeluju na privezne konope i brod tijekom priveza. Rad također istražuje usklađenost s međunarodnim sigurnosnim standardima i regulatornim zahtjevima, uključujući norme IMO (Međunarodne pomorske organizacije) i OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum), te analizira specifične zahtjeve koji proizlaze iz regulacija za UPP terminale. Na temelju provedenih analiza, rad donosi preporuke za unapređenje sustava priveza u luci Gaženica, s ciljem povećanja sigurnosti, operativne učinkovitosti i zaštite okoliša. Kroz ovo istraživanje, rad doprinosi boljem razumijevanju izazova vezanih uz privezivanje brodova za prijevoz UPP, te nudi smjernice za buduće poboljšanje infrastrukture u kontekstu rasta tržišta UPP. Dodatno, rad ističe važnost daljnje integracije novih tehnologija u proces privezivanja, čime se omogućuje bolje praćenje i optimizacija operacija, te povećava sigurnost tijekom svih faza prekrcaja tereta i boravka broda na mjestu priveza.This thesis focuses on the analysis of the LNG (liquefied natural gas) ship mooring system at the Gaženica port. Considering the specific challenges associated with the transportation of LNG, the aim of this work is to assess the technical, safety, and environmental aspects related to the mooring of LNG vessels and to analyze possible improvements to the existing system. The safe mooring of LNG vessels at Gaženica port is crucial for efficient cargo handling operations and for minimizing the risks of accidents and environmental damage. This thesis analyzes the technical parameters of the mooring system, including the type of mooring equipment, the impact of external factors (such as wind, waves, and tidal movements), and optimal mooring angles. Additionally, it addresses safety challenges, such as the risks of LNG leakage and other accidents, as well as the environmental aspects related to the transportation of liquefied gas. A particular focus of the work is the analysis of the existing infrastructure at Gaženica port, including the mooring fixtures, and the use of advanced technologies such as sensors for monitoring the forces acting on the mooring lines and the ship during mooring operations. The thesis also investigates compliance with international safety standards and regulatory requirements, including IMO (International Maritime Organization) and OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum) standards, and analyzes specific requirements arising from LNG terminal regulations. Based on the conducted analysis, the thesis provides recommendations for improving the mooring system at Gaženica port, aiming to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and environmental protection. Through this research, the thesis contributes to a better understanding of the challenges associated with the mooring of LNG vessels and offers guidelines for future infrastructure improvements in the context of the growing LNG market. Furthermore, the work emphasizes the importance of further integrating new technologies into the mooring process, enabling better monitoring and optimization of operations, and increasing safety throughout all phases of cargo handling and the vessel's stay at the mooring site
Development of sustainable business models in accordance with the ecological awareness of consumers
Rad istražuje povezanost ekološke svijesti potrošača i razvoja održivih poslovnih modela, s naglaskom na percepcije i potrošačke navike u Republici Hrvatskoj. Cilj istraživanja bio je analizirati stupanj ekološke osviještenosti potrošača, prepreke i motivatore za kupnju ekoloških proizvoda te stavove o ulozi poduzeća u promicanju održivosti. Istraživanje je provedeno putem anketnog upitnika na uzorku od 172 ispitanika. Rezultati pokazuju da većina ispitanika (56,4%) povremeno kupuje proizvode s ekološkim oznakama, dok ih 25,6% kupuje rijetko, a 4,7% nikada. Glavni motivatori za kupnju ekoloških proizvoda su kvaliteta i zdraviji sastojci (71,5%) te briga za okoliš (26,7%), dok je najčešća prepreka viša cijena (64,5%), zatim nepovjerenje u certifikate (32,6%) i nedovoljna dostupnost proizvoda (27,3%). Povjerenje u ekološke oznake je umjereno - 39% ispitanika uglavnom vjeruje u njih, dok 40,7% zauzima neutralan stav. Što se tiče percepcije održivog poslovanja, 52,3% ispitanika smatra da njihovi potrošački izbori djelomično utječu na poslovne strategije poduzeća, a 19,8% vjeruje da imaju značajan utjecaj. Također, 66,9% ispitanika spremno je djelomično promijeniti svoje potrošačke navike radi zaštite okoliša, dok 26,7% navodi da bi ih u potpunosti promijenilo. Većina ispitanika (66,3%) smatra da će ekološka svijest potrošača u budućnosti rasti, ali sporijim tempom, dok 47,7% procjenjuje da je ekološka svijest u Hrvatskoj niža od prosjeka u odnosu na druge zemlje. Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na potrebu za jačom edukacijom potrošača, poboljšanjem transparentnosti ekoloških oznaka te razvojem politika koje bi omogućile veću dostupnost ekoloških proizvoda po konkurentnijim cijenama.The paper explores the connection between ecological consumers and the development of sustainable business models, with an emphasis on perceptions and consumer habits in the Republic of Croatia. The aim of the research was to analyze the level of ecological awareness of consumers, obstacles and motivators for purchasing ecological products, and attitudes about the role of companies in promoting sustainability. The research was conducted using a questionnaire on a sample of 172 respondents. The results show that the majority of respondents (56.4%) occasionally buy products with eco-labels, while 25.6% rarely buy them, and 4.7% never buy them. The main motivators for buying organic products are quality and healthier ingredients (71.5%) and concern for the environment (26.7%), while the most common obstacle is higher price (64.5%), followed by distrust in certificates (32.6%) and insufficient product availability (27.3%). Trust in eco-labels is moderate - 39% of respondents mostly believe in them, while 40.7% take a neutral position. Regarding the perception of sustainable business, 52.3% of respondents believe that their consumer choices partially influence the business strategies of companies, and 19.8% believe that they have a significant impact. Also, 66.9% of respondents are willing to partially change their consumer habits to protect the environment, while 26.7% state that they would change them completely. The majority of respondents (66.3%) believe that consumer environmental awareness will grow in the future, but at a slower pace, while 47.7% estimate that environmental awareness in Croatia is lower than average compared to other countries. The research results indicate the need for stronger consumer education, improved transparency of eco-labels, and the development of policies that would enable greater availability of organic products at more competitive prices
Croatian Children's Literature and Socialist Ideology after 1945.
Diplomski rad analizira ideološku funkciju hrvatske dječje književnosti u razdoblju socijalističke Jugoslavije, s posebnim naglaskom na razdoblje nakon 1945. godine. Kroz pregled kulturno-povijesnog konteksta te analizu književnih i institucionalnih mehanizama, istražuje se način na koji su dječji književni tekstovi korišteni kao sredstvo političkog i društvenog oblikovanja mladih generacija. Rad se temelji na teorijskom okviru koji sagledava odnos književnosti i ideologije, uz oslonac na znanstvene izvore i aktualna istraživanja. U fokusu su književna djela Vladimira Nazora, Ivane Brlić-Mažuranić, Jagode Truhelke, Side Košutić i Josipa Cvrtile čije je stvaralaštvo analizirano u kontekstu njihove recepcije i interpretacije unutar socijalističkog sustava. Posebna pažnja posvećena je obrazovnim politikama, lektirnim popisima te kulturnim institucijama koje su sudjelovale u oblikovanju čitateljskih navika i vrijednosnih sustava djece. Rezultati analize ukazuju na postojanje sustavne instrumentalizacije dječje književnosti, ali i na prisutnost tematskih i estetskih otklona koji svjedoče o kompleksnosti književnog izraza unutar ideoloških granica. Rad doprinosi razumijevanju književnosti kao kulturne prakse oblikovane društvenim silnicama, ali i kao prostora u kojem je moguće prepoznati složene interakcije između političkih narativa i individualne poetike.The thesis analyzes the ideological function of Croatian children's literature during the period of socialist Yugoslavia, with a particular focus on the post-1945 era. Through an overview of the cultural-historical context and an analysis of literary and institutional mechanisms, the study explores how children's literary texts were used as tools for the political and social shaping of younger generations. The work is grounded in a theoretical framework that examines the relationship between literature and ideology, relying on scholarly sources and current research. The focus is placed on the literary works of Vladimir Nazor, Ivana Brlić-Mažuranić, Jagoda Truhelka, Sida Košutić, and Josip Cvrtila, whose writings are analyzed in the context of their reception and interpretation within the socialist system. Special attention is given to educational policies, reading lists, and cultural institutions that played a role in shaping children's reading habits and value systems. The results of the analysis indicate the existence of a systematic instrumentalization of children's literature, as well as the presence of thematic and aesthetic deviations that reveal the complexity of literary expression within ideological boundaries. The thesis contributes to the understanding of literature as a cultural practice shaped by social forces, but also as a space in which the complex interactions between political narratives and individual poetics can be discerned
Encouraging the Development of Students’ Language Competencies
Razvoj jezičnih kompetencija učenika ključan je za uspješno obrazovanje, osobni razvoj i uključivanje u društvenu zajednicu. Teorijski dio rada definira jezične kompetencije kao skup znanja, vještina i sposobnosti primjene jezika u različitim komunikacijskim kontekstima, uz isticanje važnosti razlikovanja standardnog jezika i zavičajnog govora. Standardni jezik promatra se kao sredstvo formalne komunikacije, dok je zavičajni govor već integriran u nastavni proces kao temelj za daljnji jezični razvoj. Empirijski dio rada temelji se na kvalitativnom istraživanju koje je provedeno metodom intervjua sa stručnim suradnicama i nastavnicama iz jedne urbane i jedne ruralne osnovne škole. Istraživanjem su ispitana mišljenja, iskustva i prakse pedagoginja, školskih knjižničarki te nastavnica hrvatskog i engleskog jezika o poticanju razvoja jezičnih kompetencija učenika. Sudionice ističu brojne izazove, uključujući negativan utjecaj digitalnih tehnologija, siromašenje rječnika i slabu motivaciju učenika, ali i važnost pedagoške podrške, suradnje unutar škole te primjene raznolikih nastavnih metoda. Posebno se naglašava potreba za njegovanjem standardnog jezika, uz istodobno prepoznavanje vrijednosti zavičajnog govora u prikladnim kontekstima. Dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na potrebu sustavne podrške u razvoju jezičnih kompetencija, što otvara prostor za daljnja istraživanja i unapređenja obrazovne prakse.The development of students' language competencies is essential for successful education, personal growth, and integration into the social community. The theoretical part of the paper defines language competencies as a set of knowledge, skills, and abilities to use language in various communicative contexts, highlighting the importance of distinguishing between the standard language and regional dialects. The standard language is viewed as a tool for formal communication, while the regional dialect is already integrated into the teaching process and seen as a foundation for further language development. The empirical part of the paper is based on qualitative research conducted through interviews with professional associates and teachers from one urban and one rural primary school. The research explored the opinions, experiences, and practices of pedagogues, school librarians, and Croatian and English language teachers regarding the encouragement of students' language competence development. The participants highlight numerous challenges, including the negative impact of digital technologies, vocabulary impoverishment, and students’ low motivation, as well as the importance of pedagogical support, school-wide collaboration, and the use of diverse teaching methods. Particular emphasis is placed on the need to nurture the standard language while simultaneously recognizing the value of regional dialects in appropriate contexts. The findings point to the need for systematic support in the development of language competencies, opening the door to further research and the improvement of educational practices
A Review of Research on Self-Regulated Learning and a Qualitative Study among Teacher Education Students
Ovaj diplomski rad istražuje temu samoregulacije učenja (SRU) kroz pregled istraživanja o
SRU-a te prikazuje rezultate kvalitativnog empirijskog istraživanja SRU-a na studentima
učiteljskog studija na početku akademskog obrazovanja. Teorijski okvir ovog istraživanja je u
Pintrichevom modelu (2000; 2004) koji naglašava aktivno upravljanje učenjem kroz faze
planiranja, praćenja, prilagodbe i vrednovanja u kognitivnom, afektivnom, ponašajnom i
kontekstualnom području. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi samoprocjenu razine
razvijenosti i stavova o SRU-a kod studenata koji su na početku akademskog obrazovanja.
Uporabom metode fokus grupe u ovom istraživanju omogućeno je dubinsko sagledavanje
mišljenja i iskustava SRU-a sudionika ovog istraživanja. Rezultati pokazuju da većina
sudionika istraživanja redovito planira svoje učenje, postavlja ciljeve i podciljeve, koristi
različite strategije i tehnike učenja, ima razvijenu metakognitivnu svjesnost, ali nije u
potpunosti upoznata sa svim tehnikama učenja. Motivaciju i upornost sudionici istraživanja

obrazovanju budućih učitelja, kao i važnost SRU-a kako za učenje kroz cjelokupnu vertikalu
odgojno-obrazovnog procesa tako i za cjeloživotno učenje.This thesis explores the topic of self-regulated learning (SRL) through a review of existing
research on SRL and show a qualitative empirical study conducted with students enrolled in a
teacher education program at the beginning of their academic education. The theoretical
framework of this research is based on Pintrich’s model (2000; 2004), which emphasizes active
management of learning through the phases of planning, monitoring, adaptation, and evaluation
within cognitive, affective, behavioral, and contextual domains. The aim of this study was to
determine students’ self-assessment of the level of development and attitudes towards SRL at
the start of their academic careers. The use of the focus group method in this research enabled
an in-depth examination of the participants’ opinions and experiences regarding SRL. The
results of this study show that most participants regularly plan their learning, set goals and sub
goals, use various learning strategies and techniques, and have developed metacognitive
awareness, although they are not fully familiar with all learning techniques. Participants
identified motivation and perseverance as key factors for success. Most participants believe
that SRL skills should be taught from the earliest years of schooling. This research is relevant
as it highlights, among other things, the need for systematic support in developing self
regulation skills in the education of future teachers, as well as the importance of SRL not only
for learning throughout the entire educational continuum but also for lifelong learning
Folklore heritage and oral literature of the Livno area
Rad se bavi folklornom baštinom i usmenom književnošću livanjskoga kraja. Cilj rada je proučiti usmenoknjiževnu i etnološku baštinu ovoga područja te potaknuti na aktualizaciju i zanimanje za usmenu baštinu i tradiciju s obzirom da se u 21. stoljeću tradicionalna kulturna baština odbacuje kao zastarjela i staromodna. Pored toga, rad percipira tradicionalnu kulturnu baštinu kao važan element u očuvanju nacionalne svijesti i domoljublja iskazanog u valorizaciji materijalne i nematerijalne kulturne baštine koja uključuje i kulturalno pamćenje. Rad donosi pregled usmenih lirskih i epskih pjesama, predaja i retoričkih oblika, vjerovanja, uspavanki i običaja, izgleda narodne nošnje te tradicionalnih plesova koji su karakteristični za livanjski kraj. Cijeli niz usmenih predaja zabilježen je terenskim radom zapisivača koji su se bavili folklornom baštinom i usmenom književnošću Bosne i Hercegovine.The work deals with the folklore heritage and oral literature of the Livno area. The aim of the work is to study the oral literary and ethnological heritage of this area and to encourage the actualization and interest in oral heritage and tradition, given that in the 21st century, traditional cultural heritage is being rejected as outdated and old-fashioned. In addition, the work perceives traditional cultural heritage as an important element in preserving national consciousness and patriotism expressed in the valorization of material and intangible cultural heritage, which also includes cultural memory. The work provides an overview of oral lyrical and epic poems, legends and rhetorical forms, beliefs, lullabies and customs, the appearance of folk costumes and traditional dances that are characteristic of the Livno area. A whole series of oral traditions was recorded through fieldwork by recorders who dealt with the folklore heritage and oral literature of Bosnia and Herzegovina
