    No full text
The regulatory implications of implementing Deep Learning require adjustments to Government and Ministerial Regulations to improve flexibility and quality of learning. The application of Deep Learning as a learning approach in Indonesia not only changes the way of teaching in the classroom, but also has an impact on existing educational regulations. This research uses a literature study approach, collecting data from books, journal articles and education policy documents on education planning in developing curriculum based on deep learning approaches, and character education. In-depth analysis was conducted by identifying the main focus and linking it to best practices in education, as well as analyzing case studies of successful implementation of deep learning approaches. Recent statistical data is also integrated to strengthen the research findings. This article aims to analyze the educational planning policies underlying the development of deep learning-based curriculum as an innovative effort in learner character building. The findings of the analysis show that existing policies tend not to explicitly accommodate the potential of deep learning in the affective domain and holistic character development. Implementing a deep learning-based curriculum for character building requires a paradigm shift in education planning. Future policies need to more clearly articulate the character goals to be achieved through deep learning, provide a framework that supports the development of innovative pedagogy, and ensure the readiness of infrastructure and educator capacity. The synergy between policy makers and education practitioners is crucial to realize the transformative potential of education in shaping a generation with strong and adaptive characters

Special Economic Zone (SEZ) Tanjung Lesung, designated under Government Regulation Number 26 of 2012, holds significant potential as a premier tourist destination in Banten Province. However, after more than five years of operation, the development of this area has not been optimal. It has yet to deliver a significant impact on the national, regional, and local economies. This study aims to identify the key tourist destination potentials within SEZ Tanjung Lesung. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing both primary and secondary data collection methods, including field observations, documentation, interviews with relevant stakeholders, and literature review. The findings indicate that SEZ Tanjung Lesung possesses substantial potential in the tourism sector, particularly due to its attractive beach tourism, strong support from central and regional governments, and readiness of human resources. However, the main challenges faced include limited investment capital, inadequate supporting facilities and infrastructure, and difficult accessibility from urban centers. The alignment between the master plan and the existing conditions remains low, indicating discrepancies between planning and actual implementation on the ground. This study recommends improvements in the planning and policy implementation for the development of SEZ Tanjung Lesung, including enhancing infrastructure, facilitating investment, and strengthening human resource capacities to achieve sustainable development goals and positively impact the regional economy

Industrialization has long been regarded as a key driver of economic transformation in developing countries, including Indonesia, where agriculture remains the backbone of many regional economies. In West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, the challenge of enhancing community welfare requires innovative policy strategies, one of which is agricultural-based industrialization. This study aims to analyze the influence of the implementation of agricultural-based industrialization policy on community welfare in NTB Province. The research focuses on communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure as key determinants of policy implementation success. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 69 respondents. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, as well as t-tests and F-tests. The results indicate that all four variables have a positive and significant effect on policy implementation. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.740 suggests that 74% of the variance in policy implementation can be explained by the independent variables. These findings imply that effective policy planning and execution, supported by clear communication, adequate resources, competent implementers, and a well-structured bureaucracy, significantly contribute to improving community welfare in the NTB regio

Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have established close ties, including cooperation in the defense sector. The development of global trends has made national security issues the axis of interest in every country. National security is not only related to military threats, but includes various aspects such as economic, political, social and cultural. Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are two countries that have close relations by collaborating in various fields, one of which is in the defense sector. Based on Buzan's securitization theory, identity conflict, regional hegemony, and the threat of terrorism are included as threats to the components of national security, namely the idea of the state, the physical basis of the state, and the institutional expression of the state. Researchers use systematic reviews as a method in research which is also used to determine research gaps. This study uses search engines such as Taylor & Francis Online, JSTOR, Tandfonline, ProQuest, and Google Scholar to search for various credible sources in the form of journals, articles, and empirical studies. The author finds that identity conflict, regional hegemony, and the threat of terrorism are threat factors that influence national security. So, the change in the status of defense industry cooperation from Business-to-Business (B2B) to Government-to-Government (G2G) appears as an interesting issue to analyze the factors and impacts

    No full text
This study aims to explore the role of digital library information systems in improving the accuracy of collection data in junior high schools through a qualitative case study approach. Collection data accuracy is a crucial aspect of library management that directly impacts service quality and learning effectiveness. The research was conducted over six months (August 2024 - January 2025) at a junior high school that had implemented a digital library information system for at least two years. Research informants consisted of 3 librarians, the principal, vice principal for curriculum, 5 subject teachers, and 10 students selected purposively. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques with ATLAS.ti 9. Research findings show significant improvements in collection data accuracy after digital system implementation: bibliographic data accuracy increased from 68% to 94%, data duplication rates decreased from 23% to 3%, format inconsistencies reduced from 35% to 5%, and inventory time decreased from 14 days to 3 days. Automatic validation features detected 87% of data entry errors, while barcode and RFID technology improved the accuracy of circulation transaction recording to 98%. User satisfaction with collection information accuracy increased from 62% to 91%, with an 85% decrease in complaints. Findings indicate that implementation success was supported by librarian competence, school management support, continuous training programs, and an organizational culture that supports innovation. This research confirms the relevance of the DeLone & McLean Information Systems Success Model and Technology Acceptance Model in the Indonesian school library context, and provides practical implications for schools planning library digital transformation by emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach integrating technological aspects, human resources, and organizational support to realize effective and user-oriented library management

Design of a Drug Policy Model Based on Community Participation to Realize a Drug-Free Indonesia (BERSINAR)

Repressive approaches alone have proven insufficient in curbing drug distribution and abuse. Therefore, a participatory and context-sensitive approach that positions communities as key actors is urgently needed. This study aims to analyze the implementation of community participation-based narcotics policy in Gorontalo Province and formulate a policy model that places the community as an active subject in the Prevention and Eradication of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (P4GN) program. A qualitative descriptive approach was chosen to explore the institutional and social dynamics within program implementation. Findings show that implementing P4GN in Gorontalo is suboptimal due to limited organizational capacity at BNNP and the lack of meaningful community engagement in programs such as Volunteers, Anti-Drug Activists, and Shining Villages. This research formulates a policy model integrating Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) and Deliberative Democracy frameworks. The model emphasizes strengthening internal community assets (human, social, financial, physical, and natural) alongside external dimensions (influence, representation, and deliberation). This dual focus aims to enhance community resilience and ensure active involvement in drug policy formulation and implementation. This study's novelty lies in its structured, deliberative, and asset-oriented community participation model for narcotics policy. This approach remains underdeveloped in Indonesian research and has the potential to be replicated across other vulnerable regions

Cannabis has a million benefits that can be used in medicine. The government must take this effect into account because legalizing cannabis for medical use has many benefits from various perspectives. And this will have an impact on the economy, industry, and a number of other sectors. However, the government's attitude towards the benefits of cannabis for medical use has not responded well, the Indonesian government is still silent without any explanation to the public regarding this issue. This research uses a normative juridical approach with conceptual and case law methods. Cannabis is classified as a Group I narcotic, prohibiting its medical use under current regulations, allowing only scientific research and diagnostic purposes. Despite its potential as a treatment, cannabis has not been approved by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) or the government for medicinal use. Article 41 of the Narcotics Law suggests revising the classification of cannabis to allow its use for medical treatments or palliative care under strict supervision. A specialized government agency could oversee its distribution, ensuring it is used safely and according to medical prescription

The Indonesian Government seeks to invest in digital communications to strengthen Indonesia's tourism industry and position it as a leading tourist destination. Social media enables organizations to provide personalized and engaging information to communities or individuals efficiently and effectively. Therefore, this study aims to discover how the Indonesian government uses social media (Twitter) to create images that can help boost tourism and the economy after COVID-19. This study uses social network analysis to explain information distribution and interaction. This study analyzes social media networks for promoting and branding Indonesian tourism using a qualitative descriptive and theoretical approach. To visualize data analysis, the Nvivo 12 Plus software, specifically the Twitter Sociogram and Netlytics dataset tools, highlights the results of Social Network Analysis regarding interactions using the hashtag #WonderfulIndonesia. According to the study's findings, the Indonesian government uses Twitter as a means of communication and promotion to improve tourism's image or branding, which is likely to be effective. By mentioning the #WonderfulIndonesia hashtag, government accounts promote tourism branding by disseminating information to the public, private sector, and others. The use of social media in large-scale tourism branding activities to attract tourists and improve the nation's economy is usually accompanied by strict management. In addition, support from various stakeholders is needed because it is proven that the government, as a single actor, has limitations in increasing tourism sector revenue through branding
