The work that we present is the result of the workshop “Strategies, activities and resources for the didactics of the drawing, the image and the plastic arts” that is part of the subject: Learning and teaching in the specialty of drawing, image and plastic arts, belonging to the Official Master’s Degree in Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching of the University of Cádiz. Course 2018-2019. The study was carried out in the Faculty of Education Sciences of the University of Cádiz, involving eighteen students aged between 23 and 31 years with different backgrounds: Fine Arts,Architecture, Communication, Design... Our goal has been to develop creativity through emotions by performing different exercises of artistic drawing and body movement achieving a magnificent work environment: Hands in movement that contact a support creating a group composition, drawings that interpret texts by authors such as Chillida, plastic expression with exquisite corpse play, body movement creating symmetrical drawings without looking, creating human sculptures to the rhythm of music... We use different strategies to help shape emotions; the silence, the recorded music, the live musical performance. All this makes it possible for feelings and emotions to come to light. Like the sculptor Giacometti, we have been able to show what is below the subject. Methodology based on the study of multidisciplinary creative processes and their praxis, digitizing context and actions so that they are not ephemeral. We use a self-made questionnaire about the six basic emotions and the TMMS-24(Fdez. Berrocal, Extremera y Ramos, 2004) for the collection and analysis of data.
There is currently intense international debate about the benefits of offering breast cancerscreening tests (BCST) to all women aged 50 and older, as it is not clear that they outweigh the risks. Also, public perception is unrealistic. Participants overestimate the benefits and are oblivious to the negative physical or psychological impact of overdiagnosis and false positives. In addition, there is no clear strategy to make easier for them to make informed decisions about their participation in the test. In this context, a deliberative democracy (DD) process was carried out in Cadiz (Spain) with the dual objective of knowing the opinion of the participants on the PCCM; and knowing which strategies they consider would improve the information reception process and facilitate informed decision making. Participated thirteen women between the ages of 50 and 65. The DD process took place over three afternoons: (1) information on mammographic screening was provided; (2) arguments weregiven for and against the PCCM; and (3) participants deliberated on the information provided, and proposed changes to the information they receive. Participants expressed their opinion about the BCST in terms of its objectives, the sources of information, and the people to whom it is addressed, the clarity of the information, and when and how they receive it. They also indicated how they would like to receive information about the BCST–mode of arrival—, the moment, the contents about which they would like to be informed, the target persons and the action protocol. It is concluded that it is necessary to know the point of view of the participants about the information that they receive of the BCST in order to improve their quality and adapt it to their needs.
Within what is known as the affective domain, attitudes towards mathematics have received strong interest over the last decades. Several studies point out that attitudes are a key factor in understanding and explaining the of high students’ variability results in mathematics. However, currently there are few instrument available for math attitudes assessment in Spanish They are mostly targeted to colleges, high school, and primary school students. Few assessment tools are available for Early Childhood Education. This study aims to outline the design and development of an Early Mathematics Attitudes Scale (ESAMAT). The different phases for the instrument design are described. Likewise, the dimensions included within the general concept of attitudes are also exposed, such as: math enjoyment, perceived difficulty, math importance or usefulness, math self-concept and curiosity towards math. The early finding of a negative predisposition to mathematics can be very significant to reduce the risk of academic failure in mathematic.
The following article aims to investigate and evaluate the neuropsychological language aspects of transgressors adolecents in conflict with the law. The study initiated through the application of FAS test (verbal fluency), as also the Vocabulary subtest of Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence (WASI) and the Cloze reading comprehension test. Twenty-five institutionalized adolecents in conflict with the law were selected in Ponta Grossa, Brazil. Also seventeen scholar teenagers on the absence of law conflicts from Curitiba, Brazil, were selected likewise. Either the selected group was male gender. It was identified a statistical significance difference on the FAS test (U = 122,00; p = 0,020), as well as the Vocabulary subtest (U = 108,50; p = 0,008). The adolecents in conflict with the law were compared, such as recidivist and nonrecidivist, however the results did not revel any significcant difference between these aspects. A sample of violations was analysed, involving homicide crimes and crimes with no homicides, and the results indicated a statistical significance difference on the FAS test (U = 35,50; p = 0.037). The presented results from the FAS test and the Vocabulary subtest of adolescents in conflict with law, infer that the low educational standards are not only related with cognitive issues or neuropsychological aspects, regarding the language features. It also requires the exploration others variables. The results also contributes to the literature review of language development, neuropsychological aspects of language and violations, supporting studies concerning forensic and neuropsychology.O presente estudo de pesquisa tem por objetivo investigar e avaliar os aspectos neuropsicológicos linguagem em adolescentes em conflito com lei.
The teaching staff is a particularly vulnerable group to develop the burnout syndrome, due to the affective and emo- tional components inherent in the professional profile. The incidence is higher in those who work in the stage of compulsory secondary education (12-16a) and post-compulsory (16-18a), with adolescent population, given the moment of vital changes of students and intense exposure to social interests on the one hand and, on the other hand, to the organizational idiosyncrasy of the educational centers and to the demands and academic pressures that the imminent access to the labor or training world entails for Higher Education. The objective of the study is to measure and interpret the experience of burnout in the participating teachers. It is a descriptive transversal design. The invited sample is composed of the high school teachers of the twenty-four Institutes of the province of Huesca (N=1.268) belonging to the public education network in the 2014/15 academic year, the voluntary participation forms an accepting sample of n=167 teachers (13.17%). For the measurement of burnout, the adaptation to Spanish (MBI-GS) of Salanova, Schaufeli, Llorens, Peiró and Grau (2000) is used through an on-line survey. The results indicate that the participating teachers have low burnout rates (1.20%), with high exhaustion and cynicism and low efficiency. One can think of a sub-declaration that would require complementary studies.
This report aims to know the level of cognitive deterioration of the Home Help Service (Servicio de Ayuda a Domicilio, SAD) users, to somehow understand if this is the main cause of the request for this service, and if from the gender perspective can exist some differences in the demand for mentioned social activity. According to the National Statistics Institute (Instituto Nacional de Estadística, INE) as of January 1, 2019, the population in Spain reached almost 47 million citizens, and more than 9.12 million are over 65 years of age. Although the SAD is aimed to all people without age range; it is true that a significantly higher percentage of its users are those who are in the “Senior Citizens” group. This community service is directed to all those families and / or subjects with different degrees of difficulty to carry out daily, dairy activities, in their own homes. According to different studies such as the one carried out by Álvarez, Mercader and Sicilia (2007), “age does determine the degree of basic autonomy”; there are also differences in cognitive impairment in addition to the percentage of people affected by gender.
Introduction: The increase in the population of the elderly, added to the increase in pluripatology and polypharmacy, makes their admission to hospitals more and more frequent. Objectives: To establish the profile of the geriatric patient older than 75 years, with pluripatology and treated in the Internal Medicine Unit of the Virgen de la Concha Hospital. Analyze the results of the functional assessment through the Barthel scale. Identify the social situation through the Gijón scale. Methods: Retrospective observational study in the internal medicine hospitalization unit over a year. Descriptive analysis of variables: demographic (age, sex); functional capacity and social assessment. The data obtained from the Gacela Care software application. Results: 1285 admissions were made, with an average age of 78 years. A sample of 915 patients ≥75 years old was obtained, with a mean age of 85.9 ± 5.4 years (75-101), mode 89 and median 86 years. 43.5% are ≥85 years. 53.11% women and 46.88% men. Average hospital stay 7.4 ± 5.2 days (0-66). Dependency assessment: 38.57% with total dependence (62.32% women); 9.61% severe dependence (54.54% women); 15.19% moderate dependence (54.67% women); 26.22% mild dependence (47.08% women); 10.38% independent (30.56% women). Social situation: 28.80% without risk (64.63% women); 60.30% good social situation (47.37% women); 6.2% average social situation (56.60% women); and 4.68% severe social deterioration (52.5% women) Conclusions: The profile of the patients studied approximates that of “geriatric patient”. The highest percentage presents a level of total dependence, causing greater demand for care and resources. There are few patients with severe social impairment. There are a greater number of total dependent patients without institutionalizing. Therefore, the burden of care for these patients is carried out by family members from home, justifying the importance of the assessment of caregivers and evaluation of resources related to family overload and primary caregiver. 53,11% mujeres y 46,88% hombres.

Several investigations summarize perfectionism as a set of clearly negative features which is especially worrying in the adolescence stage due to peer and family pressure at social, academic, sports and cultural levels among others, an issue that becomes a feature pathological. On the other hand, there is a group of children and young people who refuse to go to school in order to get the attention of others. That is, it creates anxiety for the separation of the family figure. In the present study, it was intended to observe if there are statistically significant differences in perfectionism with Ecuadorian adolescents with high and small scores in the pursuit of attention from significant others. For this, the Child-Adolescent Perfectionism Scale (CAPS) and the School Refusal Assessment Scale-Revised for Children (SRAS-R-C) were used. The total sample of participants was 1920 adolescents aged between 15 and 18 enrolled in courses between 1st and 3rd Baccalaureate. The differences found are found in both school rejection groups for Socially Prescribed Perfectionism (SPP), Self-Oriented Perfectionism-Strivings (SOP-S) and Self-Oriented Perfectionism-Critical (SOP-C), with the students with the highest level of school rejection those who scored highest in SPP (d = .17), SOPS (d = .15) and SOP-C (d = .35). In this regard, it is necessary to expand research in this field of study taking into account the vulnerability in adolescents’ personality and the association with a multitude of psychopathological disorders with which perfectionism correlates according toprevious literature.
Being part of a wider PhD research, this paper aims to present initial reflections about the regulation of Sex Education (ES) and the legitimacy of the teacher in Early Years of Elementary School, in Brazil, and 1st Cycle of Basic Education (1st CEB), in Portugal, for their approach to children, particularly on issues related to sexuality and gender. In Portugal, Sex Education is compulsory from the 1st CEB since the approval of Law No. 60/2009 of August 6. Otherwise, in Brazil, with the approval in 2018 of the Common National Curriculum Base (Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC), the terms Sexual Orientation and gender were suppressed. The suppression of these terms becomes problematic since it makes invisible discussions on issues related to sexuality and gender, such as body awareness and respect for diversity, which are also covered by the BNCC. Being a comparative study based on a qualitative methodology, at this stage will be made a documentary analysis of the Sexual Education guiding documents in both countries. This article will specifically address the diagnosis step of the research regarding the first results of documentary analysis of legislation and official documents in relation to the topics of this research. The compulsory sexuality education in Portugal made possible a systematic and specific work in dealing with sexuality and gender issues, with monitoring and evaluation of work in schools. In relation to the Brazilian reality, the challenges are different. It is also believed that not explaining the work in Sexuality Education in the Early Years of Elementary School hurts the right of access to information and the knowledge building on the subject.
