Strategi pemenuhan pasokan tomat pada pt mitra tani parahyangan
PT. Mitra Tani Parahyangan (MTP) is one of the agribusiness companies
that rely on tomato commodity as the main commodity traded. PT. MTP has a 1.5
to 2 tons / day for their daily demand, but because of limited production capacity
causes the company produce only about ten percent of the daily demand, so the
remaining needs are supplied by its partners. This dependence is become a
weakness for PT. MTP in fulfilling their daily needs, moreover the farmer's
partner sends the supply in fluctuating quantities, so PT. MTP handles the risk of
shortage or excess supply. This study aims to calculate the number of economic
orders using economic order quantity(EOQ) method that can be applied PT. MTP
to minimize costs, identify internal and external factors in terms of tomato supply
fulfillment, make alternative strategies based on internal-external factors with the
SWOT Matrix, and also determine priority strategies that can be applied first.
Based on EOQ method, the optimum quantity in one order reaches
17.864,24 kg, where ordering in that amount can reduce the cost up to 92,5
percent. However, the application of EOQ tends to be difficult considered that
agricultural commodities, in this case tomatoes, are easily damaged and rotten
products, where tomato products will decay within a period of three days. To
reduce operational costs researchers suggest PT. MTP to use the company's own
vehicles, it aims to minimize and streamline the cost of ordering. The next step is
to identify internal-external factors. PT. MTP’s major strength is access
availability, quality, productivity of seeds and production facilities, while the
main weakness is owned land for tomato production activities. Existence of other
farmers/group and the presence of collecting merchants located near the company
can be used as company’s opportunity. Price volatility and weather conditions and
diseases are both threats to companies.
Based on the results of the analysis using SWOT Matrix, there are six
alternative formulation strategies are: 1) provide education (information and
technology) cultivation to farmers and farm partners; 2) regulating land allocation;
3) making similar business actors as partners of the farmers; 4) arrange tomato
planting time; 5) make written employment contracts with partners; And 6) adapt
technology in tomato cultivation. Results of analysis with QSPM indicate that the
strategy should be prioritized by PT. MTP is a technology adaptation strategy in
tomato cultivation because this strategy has the highest Total Atractiveness Score
(TAS) value compared to the other five strategic alternatives. This strategy is
useful to minimize weaknesses in the form of land for low tomato production
activities, uncertainty of tomato supply received by the company and the high
dependence of the company on partners, as well as to overcome the threat of
tomato prices and weather conditions, disease in cultivation. One cultivation
technology that can be adapted is the use of rain shelter that aims to increase
tomato production

Asimetrik volatilitas obligasi pemerintah indonesia: pendekatan e-garch
High composition of government bond to total government debt could be seen as an Indonesian government’s strategy in obtaining sources of financing with favorable payment scheme. Currently, for about 91% of government bond is being tradable in secondary market. Therefore, it can be said that mostly, government financing portfolio will be due in the long run. Yet, most of government bond which tradeable absorbed by foreigners, regardless of Non-Rupiah bond target in internasional market. Adding ownership on government bond, as much 37.59% or equal to 523 trilion owned by foreigners.
Huge amount owned by foreigners presumably due to high expected return in line with its risk. High risk is minimized with the long term bond ownership. This research is conducted to see and analyze the existence of asymmetric volatility in Indonesia government bond observed which tradeable either in domestic or international market by comparing type, denomination and bond maturity.
This study concludes that the E-GARCH asymmetric volatility model for the Indonesian Government Bond in Rupiah denomination which traded domestically shows that significance negative asymmetric volatility return increasingly found with shorter conventional bond period while there is no asymmetric volatility in any Islamic bond maturities. Therefore, the shorter conventional bond maturities, negative shocks will have a greater impact than positive shocks in the same magnitude. Meanwhile, significance negative asymmetric volatility found both in the Indonesia government bond series in US Dollar denomination which traded internationally.
Moreover, volatility which measured by standard deviation showing that high return associated with low risk is shown on comparison conventional bond or Islamic bond based on maturities where the shorter maturities of bond series, receive the higher return yet bear the lower risk. But when comparing between conventional and Islamic bond series in Rupiah denomination which traded domestically, high risk and high return applies where Islamic bond series has both return and risk higher compared to conventional bond series. Besides, either in domestic market or international market, Islamic bond is more risky than conventional bond. Unfortunately, higher risk is associated with lower return for Islamic bond rather than conventional bond in US Dollar denomination which traded internationally. Therefore, whether in domestic market or international market, either investor or fund manager could combine conventional and Islamic bond series in order to minimize portfolio risk. Moreover, high risk and high return also applies when comparing between Islamic bond series in Rupiah denomination which traded domestically and in US Dollar denomination which traded internationally
Optimasi struktur modal dan formulasi strategi pendanaan proyek jalan tol di indonesia
The connectivity and inefficiency in the transportation sector have impacted on the high costs of transportation and logistics in Indonesia. Government of Indonesia putting the reduction of logistics costs toward improving the country’s infrastructure through toll road development as one of actions plan. Not all of the toll road investment packages are attracting to investors, thus the government’s support and investment strategies are needed. In the staging development scheme, the minimum investment feasibility is not attainable when the construction is completed at once. Staged development divided road into segments and it should be an alternative to generate traffic demand for assign minimum viability threshold. Government own the authority to determine initial tariff and its adjustment, therefore, investors have no power to set the price.
This research considered a toll road trace operating in West Java Province, Indonesia which was developing in staged development schedule since 2007. The first and second segment had been fully operating while the third segment will be constructed soon. This research aims to (1) analize optimal capital structure of the staged development toll road project; (2) determine efforts necessary to guarantee financing for toll road project. The output of this study would be a beneficial for investor arranging the project funding policy.
Optimization analyis was done using “trial-error” method and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) taken as a tool for ranking finance strategies. Simulation output explained that optimum equity level for the third phase development was 24 percent using sindicated banks loan, while inflation assumption for revenue projection refer to PPJT, with no delay for project execution. IRR on equity stood at 18.26 percent, while IRR on project at 15.77 percent. Simulation output revealed that late start of construction schedule would escalate the investment cost and decrease viability of project. Financing strategy was classified into four dimension, there were demand, funding, construction and operational. Demand strategy and operational stategy were identified as the most attractive strategies for investor, since it were able to improve the certainity of return for long term investment.
Synthesis between capital structure optimization and funding stategy was found that long tenor and low interest rate debt would increase project cash flow capacity to returned back the investment and profit maximization for equity holders. Caution must be placed by investor for reach agreement about inflation assumption in PPJT. If it is taken too high, overestimate of revenue projection will be occured, as if the project is financialy viable, but actually not

Strategi peningkatan casa untuk meningkatkan tabungan kantor wilayah jakarta i pt.bank rakyat indonesia (persero) tbk
Currently, there are many banks making an effort to win the fiercer competition by increasing income derived from interest, non-interest (fee-based income), or third party fund (DPK). The effort to increase current and saving account (CASA) at the more predominant level of the total DPK, is expected to increase the value of Net Interest Margin (NIM) amid the current tight banking liquidity. The ideal composition of CASA and non-CASA for banking industry is 60% : 40%. However, the current composition of CASA and non-CASA in Jakarta 1 Regional Office is 43,46% : 56,54%. Therefore, Jakarta 1 Regional Office needs to develop the appropriate strategies in enhancing CASA, especially saving account.
This research made use of qualitative and quantitative method. Questionnaires were disseminated to 100 customers and five experts from BRI Jakarta 1 Regional Office’s management which had been selected purposively. The result of customer questionnaire which was in the form customer perception on BRI savings product became a consideration for the experts to analyze the internal and external factors. IFE/EFE matrix and IE matrix were utilized in analyzing the internal and external factors to identify the current condition of the company. Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) was then used as the analytical tool in alternative strategy formulation.
The respondent or customer profile in general was that the age of BRI customers was within the productive age range, namely 26-35 years old with the monthly income of Rp 2 million to 5 million. In terms of education, the average education of the customers was undergraduate degree (S1) amounting to 49%. The reason of customers transacting in BRI was for safety reason (76%). Based on the respondent satisfaction level on BRI, 56% of the respondents stated that they are satisfied with the provided services and 85% of them stated that the services provided are fast while 15% of them stated otherwise. The slowness happens at the teller (39%). Due to this slowness, 93% of the respondents stated that they have no complaint on BRI while 7% of them had complaints. The complaints refer to the network which is frequently offline, long queue at the banking hall, and lack of ATM facility and EDC merchant, especially in public shopping places.
Determination of target market of Jakarta 1 Regional Office is one of the things that become the basis in determining the strategy to be done. The development strategies of savings product which are currently carried out by Jakarta 1 Regional Office is market targeting with 60% of funds coming from state-owned enterprise (SOE) and government agencies and 40% of retail funds. The top three government funds existing in Jakarta 1 Regional Office were Pertamina amounting to 50,32%, Ministry of SOE amounting to 20,37%, and National Security Agency (Lemhannas) amounting to 12,56%. Increasing CASA strategy especially for savings account which is been doing by Jakarta 1 Regional Office is “Market Penetration Strategy by Increasing Marketing Mix of Saving Accounts”. It is done through improvement and development of Product, Place, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Evidence. It is considered not maximal because it is still focused on government agencies, there is still a big chance to be able to cooperate with
private or foreign private companies and need further development on the features of BRI savings account.
It was obtained from IFE matrix analysis that the total value of internal critical factors was 2.767 and the total value of external critical factors obtained from EFE matrix was 2,826. Ideally, the average score of IFE/EFE matrix is 2,50. It can be seen from internal and external evaluation that the total scores are more than 2,50. It shows that the company strategies have been well designed to harness opportunities, defend itself from its external environmental threats, and not being weak against its competitors.
IFE/EFE matrix analysis was continued with determining the current position of BRI savings product using IE matrix. IE matrix shows that BRI savings product existed in cell V (stability) which is an alternative selective position to be developed or not. At that stability position, the strategies that need to be prepared are market penetration and product development. These aim to maintain the achieved performance.
QSPM analysis generated three alternative strategies for savings product development, namely: 1) Strategy I, market penetration and savings product development 2) Strategy II, new customer acquisition strategy using refocusing concept 3) Strategy III, retention or maintenance of potential existing customer strategy. The experts then assessed the relative attractiveness of each strategy to determine the main strategy. It was obtained that Priority 1 is retention or maintenance of potential existing customer strategy (TAS = 5.850), Priority 2 is market penetration and savings product development strategy (TAS = 5,737), and Priority 3 is new customer acquisition strategy using refocusing concept (TAS = 5,4447).
The managerial implications that company can take to improve CASA especially savings, according to QSP Matrix analysis are as follows : (1) First Strategy; Retention Strategy or Maintenance Potential Customer by create exciting prize program, make a special event and gathering to potential customer according to customer’s characteristics, enlarge the volume of business with a persuasive approach to existing customer and improve the service level, so then increasing the convenience and improving customer loyalty. (2) Second Strategy; Market Penetration and Product Development which is increasing market share through bigger marketing, improve the quality and features of digital-based products, add a point of sales with new promotional media that has not been done before, enhance BRI’s goals by an exciting program which could improve marketing of BRILink agent and BRIZZI to increase the market share in Jakarta 1 Regional Office. (3) Third Strategy; Acquisition Strategy with “Refocusing” concept to build
cooperation with government agencies and foreign private companies whose payrolls could be directed to BRI, so then could increase savings of funds and also fee based income
