The developing of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) in Indonesia could not be separad from support of banking in financial distribution for SME. There are two alternatif loan for SME, conventional loan and sharia loan. Bank Syariah Mandiri is the one of the islamic financial institution which distrubute micro sharia loan. There are so many financial institution in this business so BSM need more marketing strategy to speard they market and be a market leader in this business. Realization of target achievement BSM Pondok Kelapa was below the manager expected level. Therefore, further research is required to find factors that affecting public interest for using BSM Service and Sharia Fund for SME with the purpose of finding effective and efficience marketing strategies. Data collection applied face to face interview using questionnaire. This research aim to analyze the influence of religiousity, pricing, and corporate image toward attitude and intention to use mucro sharia loan. This research perform 150 respondents tha chosen purposively and analyzed using SEM with SmartPLS3 software. Respondents took from 10 branchs of BSM in Pondok Kelapa Area within September – Desember 2017. The result shows that pricing and corporate image through attitude had a significant affect toward intention in using SME sharia loan. Religiousity showed insignificant affect toward attitude. Otherwise, pricing and corporate image showed significant affect toward attitude. The other result showed that religiousity and corporate image give insignificant affect toward intention. Pricing and attitude showed significant affect toward intention. Managerial implication is based on segmentation, targeting, and positioning (STP). For segmentation aspect, firm should present educative presentation for explaining the importance of having additional income interspersed with value of BSM SME Sharia Fund. In targetting aspect based on this research, SME owned by respondents has been established for 1 – 3 years ago, and enterprise expansion is urgently required at that point. Firm could take a role as SME additional fund. Research Institute for Tea and Cinchona (RITC), after going through several changes on Legal Entity status, eventually became corporate in 2009. However RITC still find obstacles in achieving financial independency indicated by the negative equity from year to year. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct a study in order to analyze the SWOT position of RITC organization; map the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) of RITC; determine the cost and income structure of each SBU; analyze business portfolio based on BCG matrix; and managerial implication for self-financing of RITC. The data collected consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected from questionnaires filled by the respondents from management and stakeholders of RITC. The data analysis method used was S-W-O-T analysis in which the weighting on each criteria of S-W-O-T factors using the weighting method of Eckenrode. The cost was classified in variable cost and fixed cost. Business portfolio analysis and position of each SBU of RITC used Boston Consulting Group (BCG) matrix. Furthermore, the combination of the analysis result of cost structure and SBU performance were used to sharpen the result of BCG matrix. Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) result indicated negative score of 0.14 which showed the internal position that was weak. The main weakness was on the marketing performance of products and services of RITC. EFE indicated positive score of 0.11 which showed the external position of RITC that was strong. The weakness of RITC was more dominant than the strength, and the opportunity of RITC was more dominant than the threat, in other words the position of RITC was the meeting point of internal factor of Weakness and external factor of Opportunity. Therefore the strategy suggested was Divestment/Investment. The analysis result of BCG matrix reported that most of SBUs of RITC or 73 percent were in Question Mark (8 SBU) category; 18 percent were included into Cash Cow (2 SBU) category; and 9 percent was included into Dog (1 SBU) category. None of the SBUs were included into Star category. The composition of fixed cost in 11 SBUs of RITC was high about 28.7 - 75.5 percent. Among eight SBUs included into Question Mark category, when they were linked to the cost structure and the business performance, there are only 3 SBUs which are very potential to be pushed into the Star category i.e. SBU6 of White Tea and Package Tea Unit; SBU7 of Superior Clones of Tea and Cinchona Production; and SBU10 of Arabica Coffee Garden Unit. SBUs that gave contribution of profits were the SBU with business development more than 10% and the income was relative much more than the variable cost. The three SBUs could be driven from Question Mark category into the Star category using Build strategy, which a strategy to increase the investment on product or business unit in order to increase the market share

The development of the business world causes the organization to pay attention to the changes that occured. Prihadi (2010) said that financial flexibility is a condition of firms to have flexibility to deal with unexpected situations in their funding. The large amount of debt will reduce the flexibility to obtain loan. The company have financial flexibility if the company can fulfill all its obligations in the form of interest and loan principal to the creditor. The coal prices declined from 2011 to 2015 following the shale gas production expansion by the United States (Falianti 2015), excess supply of coal (IEA 2013 in Fiyanto 2014), and the increasing international campaign of clean energy that led many countries to reduce the use coal as the source of power generation (Bintang 2016). China as one of the largest coal importing countries experienced economy declining in 2015. It was the lowest decline over the past 25 years. The decline in China's economy affected demand for China’s coal commodities that also affected Indonesian coal commodity exports declined. The largest export declining in 2015 occurred in China, India and South Korea. At the same time there was a downward trend in earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) and sales of coal companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2015. The coal industry requires large capital that probably need to use external capital. Coal companies could find alternative sources of funding such as indebtedness. If the company fails to fulfill its obligations, it will cause the company to have no financial flexibility. Companies with a value of Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) smaller than 1.20 expressed no financial flexibility (Ruster 1996). There were companies that have financial flexibility and do not have financial flexibility based on their DSCR. Therefore it is necessary to examine the external and internal factors of the company that affect and impact on the financial flexibility of coal companies. The objectives of this research are: (1) to analyze the financial flexibility of coal companies, (2) to analyze factors affecting coal companies performance, 3) to analyze the impact of external and internal factors on coal companies’ financial flexibility. The financial flexibility model built on this research is a recursive equation system. The model formulated of 24 equations or 24 variables (G) and total variables in the model, endogenous variables and 56 pre-determine variables (K). The maximum number of endogenous and exogenous variables in the equation model is 7 variables (M). The result should be (K - M) > (G - 1) so it can be concluded that all structural equations coal corporate financial flexibility model is identified as over-identified. Furthermore, the model estimation method used is 2SLS (Two Stage Least Square). The type of data used in the study is panel data of 10 coal companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2011-2015. Coal companies are classified by large and small scale coal companies. Large-scale coal firms are PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG), PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) and PT Delta Dunia Propindo Tbk (DOID). Source of data obtained from the comprehensive income statements, financial position statement, cash flow statement, notes of financial statements, and coal companies annual report. The results showed that four companies have financial flexibility; PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO), PT Tambang Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA), PT Indo Tambang Raya Tbk (ITMG) and PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN). Meanwhile, PT Delta Dunia Propindo Tbk (DOID) doesn’t have financial flexibility. Total export sales of coal, domestic coal sales, earning before interest and tax, earning before interest tax depreciation and amortisation, bank loan payment, and loan lease payment are affected by lag t-1 variable. Earning before interest and tax is affected by gross profit and operating expenses. Depreciation and amortisation are affected by total assets. Earning before interest tax depreciation and amortisation is influenced by depreciation and amortisation variable. The impact of external and internal factors to coal companies financial flexibility are: (a) if China's gross domestic product decreased by 2%, and the exchange rate of Rupiah to USD also depreciated by 2%, the company would anticipated by lowering the production cost by 5%. Meanwhile general & administrative expenses, and selling & marketing expenses valued by 10% would affected the company's financial flexibility by 31.47% (debt service coverage ratio of 1.34), (b) If the international coal’s price decreased by 2% and the exchange rate of Rupiah to USD depreciated by 2%, the company would anticipated by lowering the production cost by 10%. Meanwhile general & administrative expenses, and selling & marketing expenses valued by 10% would affected the company's financial flexibility by 25.06% (debt service coverage ratio of 1.28), and (c) If Domestic Market Obligation policy (DMO) were added 5 million tons from last year, it would increase coal companies financial flexibility by 35.25% (debt service coverage ratio of 1.38), (d) if Domestic Market Obligation policy (DMO) were adde

Organic food is increasingly being produced to offer more benefits than regular food. In general, the Indonesian people's intention to consume organic food is lower compared to other developing countries. Although the number of organic food demand is increasing every year, only a small percentage of consumers consume organic food regularly. This is allegedly due to high organic food prices, so it can only be purchased by consumers with high enough income. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors influencing attitudes toward organic food purchases, as well as to analyze the factors that influence the intention of purchasing organic food. Data collection from respondents was done by structured questionaire guidance. Some questions in the questionnaire were made on a scale (scaled response question). Scaling technique used is Likert scale where the respondent is required to choose one among the Likert scale with five variations of the answer with the sequence strongly disagree to strongly agree. The data processing using descriptive analysis and SEM. The number of indicator variables that make up the SEM model in this study are 28 indicators, so the number of samples taken is 140 samples. Samples of respondents in undergraduate students IPB are students who have a single tuition (UKT) per semester of at least seven million rupiah. The results of bootstrapping show the perception of behavior control, attitudes on organic food, and subjective norms have a significant effect on purchasing intentions. Health awareness and environmental awareness have no significant effect on purchasing intentions. Managerial implication based on research result that is to increase intention to buy organic food at undergraduate students IPB in Bogor City by forming positive attitude on organic food, subjective norm and behavior control perception. This will make consumer intentions increasing in all aspects of information as well as availability of organic food products

The role of banking sector to sustain economic growth is critical. Banking provides support in the form of facilitating financial services/transactions and as one source of funding to finance productive or consumptive activities of economic actors. Support from banking can be maximized if the sector is in good condition in terms of stability and soundness. The banking stability and soundness is influenced by the resilience and soundness of each individual bank. If banking sector is disturbed which causes intermediation role is not functioning well then it will disrupt the activities of bank lending, will hamper economic activities and slow down economic growth as a consequence. This study aims to examine the relationship between managing efficiency, exploiting competitive position and risk-taking decision in the context of Indonesian banking sector during period 2002-2016 and evaluate the impact of efficiency and/or competitive position on bank soundness. The relationship between efficiency, competitive position and risk-taking decision will be analyzed by taking into account relevant information related to macroeconomic data and bank specific data. The sample used in this study consists of data for 4 state-owned banks and 24 private-owned foreign exchange commercial banks. Quarterly financial statements for all banks are retrieved from OJK website. The study employed data envelopment analysis (DEA) with input orientation under variable return to scale (VRS) nature to estimate X-efficiency and Lerner index as a proxy for competitive position indicator for commercial banks in Indonesian banking sector. The Z-score used as an indicator for overall bank risks or bank soundness. The β-convergence and σ-convergence analysis were applied to identify the existence of convergence in level of efficiency. Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) identified speed of efficiency adjustment. In order to account for heteroskedasticity and endogeneity, generalized method of moment (GMM) employed to estimate the dynamic model. Result of the study showed small decrease in the efficiency due to global financial crisis (GFC) in 2007/2008, and the existence of convergence in banking efficiency, however the GFC slowed down the acceleration of convergence. The findings confirmed that consolidation policy was successful in strengthening the fundamental of Indonesian banking sector post Asian Financial Crisis (AFC) in 1997/1998. The relationship between level of efficiency and competitive position is a positive one-way relationship from efficiency to competitive position. The more efficient is, the stronger competitive position. The higher efficiency will increase market share and profit. These indicate that efficiency-structure hypothesis (ESH) supported by Indonesian commercial banks with pricing power as a channel, besides that the “quiet-life” hypothesis (QLH) was rejected. Larger pricing power (measured by Lerner index) potentially has a negative impact on soundness of a bank and banks support competition-fragility hypothesis in the context of competitive position or support competition-stability hypothesis in the context of market situation. The execution of pricing power by a bank will be very likely to increase credit risk which will endanger bank soundness if not accompanied by a corresponding improvement in the quality of implemented risk management. In relation with the implementation of Basel 3, the increase of net stable funding ratio (NSFR) for banks that have not reached the minimum NSFR level will reduce their returns and then may deliver negative impact on banking stability. When off-balance sheet transactions included, the relationship between level of efficiency and competitive position remains positive one-way from efficiency to competitive position. And also, the competitive position remains negatively affect soundness of the bank through an increasing portfolio of credit risk resulting from risk-taking behavior

Coconut is a plant that can only grow and be productive in tropical climates, therefore the largest producer of coconut commodities is located in Asia Pacific region. Coconut plants play an important role in Indonesia's national economy as Indonesia is the world's second largest producer of coconut commodities, with a market share of 18% of all traded coconut commodities in the world. Implementation of international regulations on food traceability encourages companies to adapt to the established rules. Consumers are also considered to have the right to receive safety of products and in with the quality promised. Traceability system is one of the tools to guarantee the quality and safety of a product. The development of technology and information systems become one of the factors that support the development of traceability, but there are still many companies who have not realized the importance of information technology for the development. Therefore, the traceability system in the coconut sugar supply chain in Indonesia stll utilizes paper-based traceability. One of the development of traceability system that already exists in the world is utilizing barcode and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to be able to store and read product data. This study aims to design a traceability system prototype using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. Based on the SDLC approach, this research through the identification phase, system investigation, system analysis, system design, prototype manufacture, testing and maintenance, and implementation and evaluation. This study focused on analyzing the information system needs in the collecting, storing and digital data exchange. The results of this study indicates that the actors involved in the coconut sugar supply chain are farmers, collectors, processors, transporter and retailers. Development of prototype traceability system can be used by actors and end consumers to do track and trace products
