In an organization the role of human resources is very important. Human Capital is one of the most important elements of a company's intangible assets. Employee who are engaged by both the company and the job will be encouraged to do challenging goal. They have a desire for success and personal commitment to achieve that goal. In the next few years Generation Y will dominate the workforce so it is necessary for Generation X to know Generation Y. Both generations have different work values and motivations. This difference then becomes a gap that needs to be considered so this gap will not interfere with employee engagement. Processing techniques and data analysis in this research is quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. Analysis tools used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with an alternative method variance based using LISREL version 8.51 software. Respondents in this study were Generation X and Generation Y who have working throughout Indonesia and questionnaires were distributed through social media. Based on the results of research Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) that there are significant differences between work motivation and employee engagement in Generation X. Otherwise, there is significant differences between personal value and work motivation, personal value and employee engagement, and work motivation and employee engagement in Generaton Y

National independence in the field of satellite technology is needed for supporting the sovereignty of maritime territory and national agriculture which is the potential of national food security, certainty in maintaining the security of the territory and security of natural resources data of Indonesia. Indonesia has a land area of 1,922,570 km2 and sea area of 3,257,483 km2 with the number of islands 13,466 is the largest archipelago country in the world. Satellite technology can conduct monitoring and observation of the earth on a continuous basis. With the development of technology and Electronic Miniaturization System (MEMS) and Component of The Self (COTS), the independence of satellite technology is now possible by developing countries with limited budget, human resources and R & D facilities. With the ability to apply high technology (camera systems, communication systems, computer systems and earth station control), low cost and piggyback-based launch, microsatellite development is an option in the mastery of satellite technology. Currently, micro satellite technology has been controlled by Indonesia conducted by the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN). Until 2016 has launched three micro satellites for surveillance experiments, maritime navigation, amateur communication and remote sensing. The purpose of this research is to find out why micro satellite technology is developed, what problems arise in its development and an appropriate strategy alternative in the development of micro satellite industry. The analysis of data used in this study using the method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Partial Least Square (PLS) by analyzing technological variables (HT), financing (HC), risk (HR), competitiveness (DS), innovation (IN) experts (TA) and external variables of government regulation (RP) as well as business development (PB). The strategy of micro satellite industry development is determined using SWOT strategy analysis method and alternative strategy selection using Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The result showed that LAPAN already has the ability of micro satellite technology development with government regulatory support, the maturity of experimental satellite R & D which is sufficient but still required the numbers of human resources and R & D facilities. Furthermore, the readiness to enter the micro satellite industry with the strategy to standardize R & D and certification of individual human resources, the budget needs to be done by building partners with the pattern of cooperation of private government (PPP) and utilizing foreign cooperation

Increased consumption of chicken and eggs makes the animal feed industry as a supporting industry of production inputs are experiencing rapid development. Animal feed business unit PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (PT CPIN) is one of the largest producers of animal feed with production capacity and market share in Indonesia. The problem faced by PT CPIN's animal feed business unit is the decrease of gross profit margin caused by import regulation which causes corn raw material as energy source must be fulfilled from local corn. The problem faced in local corn procurement is the continuity of supply of quality local corn raw material every month with competitive price. From the above problems faced by PT CPIN’s feed business unit, it is necessary strategy planning that produces sustainable competitiveness. Therefore, this study aims to 1) Identify factors affecting the competitiveness of the animal feed industry in Indonesia; 2) Analyzing the strategic position of PT CPIN's animal feed business unit in the Indonesian poultry feed industry; 3) Formulate alternative strategies that can be used to gain sustainable competitiveness for PT CPIN; and 4) Choosing the right priority strategy to gain sustainable competitiveness for PT CPIN and who the most influential actors. IE matrix shows the position of livestock feed business unit of PT CPIN is found in quadrant I, that is growing and developing (grow and build). The alternative strategies that can be offered based on SWOT matrix analysis are 1) Increasing the production of animal feed while maintaining product quality; 2) Improve research on utilization of local raw materials in cooperation with universities and Balitnak; 3) Utilize associations to solve problems with stakeholders and 4) Cost efficiency. The result of ANP BOCR synthesis shows that the most important factor to determine the competitiveness of feed industry in Indonesia is the condition factor (27,78%). The most influential external threats are import regulation (32.1%) and the most important internal problem is the continuity of domestic raw materials (58.29%). The main opportunity for the company is the discovery of raw material analysis technology with NIR (39.84%) and the main internal strength of a livestock feed company is the brand image of the company (33.16%). The priority strategy chosen by the respondents as a way to improve the competitiveness of fodder in Indonesia is cost efficiency (29.0%) with the most influential actors being farmers (16.97%)

The drybulk freight market has been recognized as highly risk and and volatility, because it is subject to a number of many uncertainties, ranging from world economy, political shock, technology, to the sensitive market sentiments, therefore many academics are concern and trying to understand this phenomenon. A lot of research has been conducted and one of them was related to the forecasting the drybulk freight as a tool to reduce the risk of uncertainty, under this circumstances, this paper makes an attempts to forecast the drybulk freight index (BDI) using a system dynamic modeling, through an investigation of the drybulk freight market over the period from 1991 to 2016. This research begins with studying the characteristics and overview of the dry bulk freight market in general, and the determinants which affecting demand and supply of the market are identified and analysed. The significant variables are obtained from literature review, and also some economic model from previous research are examined, based on this foundation the system dynamic modeling can be done. The economics indicator represented by World GDP is used to predict the drybulk seaborne trade volume, along with the average haul distance, both of them are chosen as a variable from demand side, meantime the fleet of dry bulk carriers and bunker price are picked from supply side. Linear Regression, time series analysis and dynamics demand/supply model are examined to identify the appropriate methods for forecasting freight rates in the market. After the dynamics model tested for its validity, two scenarios were exercised within the model to forecast the BDI from 2017 until 2020. The results of the above mention simulation indicate that fleet growth is one of the primary factor that affecting BDI, and the BDI condition currently will be difficult to rise from the lower level if there is no attempt from shipowners to reduce the number of the existing fleet in the market

The problem of congestion has become a phenomenon attached to daily life, especially for the citizens of big cities in Indonesia. One of the transportation that can be a solution to cope with traffic jams is online bike. Online bike is currently known as a business opportunity for young businessmen which is also useful to be one of the popular transportation. Based on a survey conducted by Indonesian Consumer Foundation (2017), the reason for the use of online transportation services is cheap (84.1%) and fast (81.9%). The highest rating sequence of online bike was Gojek (72.6%), Grab (66.9%) and Uber (51%). Based on the same survey, there are some forms of consumer disappointment in terms of technology such as difficult to get the driver (21.19%) and broken map application (13.11%); in terms of risk such as insufficient vehicles (6.04%) and inconsiderate drivers (4.73%); in terms of trust such as the driver does not want to be honest with the consumer (5.03%) and the driver does not want to be notified (2.89%). There are five latent variables in this research, such as perceived technology, perceived risk and institution based trust as independent variables, online trust and service usage as dependent variable. The purpose of this research is (1) to identify the service usage of online bike, (2) to analyze the influence of perceived technology, perceived risk and institution based trust towards online trust, (3) to analyze the influence of perceived technology, perceived risk and online trust towards service usage of online bike and (4) to formulate managerial implications that can be applied for companies and government in terms of management of online bike marketing activities. This research took place in Ciluar Asri Housing Area, District of North Bogor, Bogor City. This research has been completed from June to December 2017. The approach used in this research is the survey of household level. The type of data used is the primary data in the form of self-report questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique used in this research is systematical random sampling with kish grid approach. The terms of respondents in this study is the respondents who have an online bike application, book through the application, and use the online bike service at least once a month. Data processing technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL 8.7 software and descriptive analysis using SPSS 24. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the majority of respondents are women in the age group of 15-24 years old and students with undergraduate background of education. Ownership of vehicles dominated by cars, motorcycles and bicycles. Online bike users are dominated by the 15-24 years age group and this age group has three online bike applications that tend to compare the three online bike before deciding to use the particular one. The majority of respondents use Grab (96%), followed by Gojek (89.5%) and Uber (56.5%). Rarely frequency of used is dominated by Uber (56.5%) whereas in the category of often and always are dominated by Grab. The cash payment method is dominated by Uber (96.5%) and non-cash payment method is dominated by Gojek (33.5%). The feedback rating is dominated by Grab (46.9%). The ranks of the reasons of using online bike for Gojek and Grab brands are price, promotion, convenience, security, easy to get, driver and method of payment. A slight difference on the Uber which is easy to obtain is not included in the sequence of reasons for the selection of Uber so that it can be concluded that it is difficult to get an online bike of Uber. This phenomenon is closely related to the absence of respondents who have only one Uber application alone. The use of Uber application is always together with other online bike applications. Based on the evaluation of overall model fit, this research model includes good fit so it is feasible to do hypothesis test. Based on the measurement model fit, the result does not include Y3 indicator which is payment method by cash. Based on the results of structural model fit, it is obtained the result that all hypothesis is significant except hypothesis 2 (the influence of perceived risk towards online trust) which is not significant. The result of this research is perceived technology influenced positive and significantly to online trust; perceived risk has no significant influence on online trust; institution based trust influence positive and significantly to online trust; perceived technology influence positive and significantly to service usage; perceived risk influenced negative and significantly to service usage; online trust has a positive and significant influence on the service usage. Some form of managerial implication for the companies are to maintain features that can assist consumers in tracking the driver's existence, maintain the promo rate but ensure that the promo rate information is known to the consumer, and maintain the protection of personal information for consumers. The managerial implication for the government is to set rules for online bike companies and provide protection for online bike

The Public transportaion is a basic needs for individu in this modern era. The high activity and mobility of people convince them to use public vehicle as main modes of transportation. It is supported by the increasing volume of private vehicle and the increasing number of Indonesia population. This phenomena gives opportunities to creative entrepreneur to provide effective, efficient and affordable public transportation. Consequently, many online transportation provider appeared in this economic sector. Cheap and fast are the most word appeared if the user asked the reason why they choose online transportation, and there are three top brand of ojek online that is Go-jek, Grab dan Uber. There are five variables used in this research including marketing mix and word of mouth as independent variables, while brand image and online user behaviour use as dependent variables. The objective of this research are 1) To identify consumer behaviour on online transportation; 2) To analyze the influence of marketing mix and word of mouth on brand image.; 3) To analyze the influence of marketing mix and word of mouth on consumer behaviour; 4) To formulate formulate managerial implications that can be applied to marketing activity of online transportation company. This research is located on Perumahan Ciluar Asri, Kecamatan Bogor Utara, Kota Bogor and conducted for six months. Depth interview and questionnaries are used as technique of data collection in this research. Technique of questionnary sampling is systematical random sampling with kish grid approach. This research requires respondents who have application of online transportaion in their smartphone and use online public transport via mobile application at least once in the past month. Data processing in this research is using software LISREL 8.7 to analyze Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and SPSS 24 to analyze descriptive content. The result of this research shows daring ojek user is dominated by age group 15-24, mostly has three or more online public transportation. This age group is also comparing each public transportation company before decide to choose one of them. Most of the respondents in this research choose to use Grab, followed by Go-jek and Uber. Grab dominates on non-cash payment method, while Uber does otherwise. Grab also rank first on feedback rating because of low price policy, highly promoted management, comforTabel, accesibility, safety and payment method. In another hand, Uber Company is not choosen because of its accesibility. Respondents have some concern on the accesibility of Uber driver. The Uber application always uses with other online public transportation application. Based on evaluation of model compatibility, this research is good fit model. So that this research could be test its hypothesis. Compatibility measurement test explains that Y3 indicator, the cast payment method does not meet reliability and validity requirement. Other research result show that marketing mix and word of mouth have significant contribution to brand image; while both also have significant influence on user behaviour. In another hand, brand image has no contribution to user behaviour. As implication in managerial sector is Grab need to adjust its price so that it could be competed with other online public transportaion companies. Most respondent said that Grab has the highest price than Go-jek and Uber. Grab also need to provide more comforTabel service and to improve its service. Accesibility is the main reason why uber has the least passenger than competitor companies. Uber need to recruit more driver to compete Grab and Go-jek. Beside that, Uber also needs to widen the distribution of the driver to attract consumer using its public transportation. Uber is on rare category if it is measured by the frequency of application usage, while grab is on opposite category. In March 2018, Uber decided to merge with Grab and the assets owned by Uber must be acquired by Grab in order to compete more strictly with Go-jek

The high Gini Index of Indonesia shows that economic growth is not accompanied by economic equality. The high income inequality occurred in all provinces in Indonesia from 2009 to 2014, including in the city of Bogor. The current practice of interest applied in the conventional banking system reinforces the propensity of wealth accumulated in the hands of a few people. Islamic economics has a solution to the disparity problems generated by the riba-related conventional economic system, such as the forbidden use of riba and the use of profit sharing-based working capital contracts for productive sector. By applying the instruments of Islamic economics, sharia banking is expected to contribute to the distribution of wealth, poverty alleviation and community welfare. However, the benefits of sharia banks have not had an impact on the increasing market share of sharia banking in Indonesia. The study aimed to learn the awareness and attitude of the Muslim consumers of sharia banks in Bogor towards sharia banking practice and working capital financing of sharia banks based on profit sharing that can become the significant factors for the growth of sharia banking market share, which in turn will decrease poverty rate and income inequality in Indonesia. The conceptual framework of this study was developed based on AIDA's hierarchy of effects model and the theory of planned behavior (TPB). This study used the structural equation modeling (SEM) to measure the relationships between four latent variables, i.e. demography, awareness, attitude, and action, and the relationships between those latent variables and their indicator variables. The SEM model in this study was processed using the LISREL software. The primary data collection was performed through self-administered questionnaire with 125 Muslim consumers of sharia banks in Bogor who own business. The sampling technique in this study was a non-probability snowball sampling, by way of convenience sampling. The model in this study has had a good fit in accordance with the established criteria of the Goodness of Fit. The research results showed that the awareness owned by the consumers in Bogor significantly influences the attitude of consumers and the usage behavior of sharia banking working capital financing at 90 percent confidence level. The research results also showed that consumers have a positive attitude towards the working capital financing of sharia banks. However, the attitude of consumers have no significant effect on the use of working capital financing of sharia banks. The main difference between sharia banks and conventional banks known to the respondents lies in the contracts used in sharia banking transactions. One step that can be done to increase the market share of sharia banking, and ultimately reduce the inequality between the rich and the others, is to increase the awareness and attitude of consumers towards the practice of sharia banking and the working capital financing of sharia banks. This step should start with a simultaneous paradigm shift of thought from all parties, namely the Muslim community, sharia banking, and government. The paradigm shift of thought to be addressed is the act to position sharia banking as a lifestyle of the Muslim community, by practicing sharia law-based financial activities, and not as a substitute product of conventional banking

BAZNAS (National Amil Zakat Board) is a nationally formal institution that has been established based on act of number 23 in 2011, to centrally and coordinatively manage zakat in Indonesia. Recently, BAZNAS has released strategic plan issues to improve amil’s (staffs/employees) competencies and capacities. BAZNAS, however, is still lack of valid data to objectively, accurately and quickly measure the performance of its human resources (amils) as the basis of human resources development and recruitment plan and strategy. In addition, an implementation of IT becomes a part of BAZNAZ’s strategic plans. This study aimed to design a DSS (Decision Support System) implementation prototype to measure BAZNAZ amils’ competencies (i.e. soft- and hard-skills) to support the decision making process of human resource recruitment and the development in BAZNAS. This competency is categorized into prerequisite and non-prerequisite competencies. The prerequisite competencies include education, fiqih of zakat, and islamic world view, while the non-prerequisite competencies include the criteria of general competencies, internal competency assessments related to Key Performance Indicator (KPI), ownership of internal training certificates, project involvement, years of service, internal work achievements not related to KPI, external competencies (ownership of LSP competency certificates, external work achievements and ownership of non-LSP competency certificates) and islamic behavior. The result of AHP analysis showed islamic behavior as the main priority of competency of BAZNAZ employees with weight value of 0.408; the second priority was internal competencies with weight value of 0.284; the third priority was general competencies with weight value of 0.229; and the fourth priority was external competencies with weight value of 0.078. The implementation of DSS (Decision Support System) is expected to support the BAZNAS strategic issues. The general competencies used 3600 assessment and the islamic behavior used likert scale. The DSS prototype will result in 5 assessment interval scales that show the results of each amil’s competency assessment

The funds used for operating activities commonly referred to as working capital. Management may choose the composition of expenditure in accordance with company policy. There are three policy approaches according to Brigham and Daves (2007) that the policy of aggressive approach, matching, and conservative. This research is aimed to examine the effect of working capital policy towards profitability based on specific characteristics of manufacturing firms. Working capital policy used in this study is the investment of working capital policy and financing of working capital policy. This study also used the control variables firm size, leverage, growth and working capital turnover. The sample of the study was the manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data observation period was 5 years (2011-2015). The data was collected using purposive sampling method. Total samples were 430 firms, consist of 86corporate each year. The data analysis technique used is the panel data regression with Eviews 9. General picture shows that the majority of overall manufacturing company adopts a conservative policy in both the investment policies as well as working capital financing policy. Based on the characteristics, the majority of agroindustry manufacturing and agro-industry adopted conservative policy in both the investment and financing policies. This indicates that most manufacturing companies, the proportion of current assets is greater than its fixed assets. Thus liquidity was also great. As for the financing of its investment activities, the majority of manufacturing companies the proportion of long-term debt and a larger capital in financing assets. This study shows that the aggregate profitability of manufacturing companies positively influenced significantly by the investment policy of working capital and working capital turnover, and otherwise influenced negative significantly by company size and leverage. If specified according to the characteristics of the manufacturing, profitability on agroindustry manufacturing company and non agroindustry equally affected by the significant positive investment policy and negative significantly by firm size. Aggressive working capital financing policy has significant negative effect on the profitability of manufacturing agroindusty and reverse significant positive effect on manufacturing non agro-industry. Firm value shows that the aggregate on manufacturing companies affected negative significant by working capital investment policy, firm size and growth of the company. Value manufacturing and non agro-industry agro-industry alike positively influenced significantly by firm size. Furthermore, for agroindustry manufacturing company also influenced negative significant by the company's growth control variable. For manufacturing non agroindustry companies significantly influenced by working capital investment policy. The study recommends to assist company management in decision-making in investment policy and financing working capital policy. The management company can see and take into consideration some of the determinants examined in this study to support the company's investment and financing decisions. The company's management decision in choosing a conservative approach to the financing and investment policy is appropriate because the policy was able to increase profitability. So it can be said that the management could maintain the policy. As for the company, which is still adopting aggressive policies need to take into account properly regarding the accuracy of the resulting product turnover with maturities of financing. Because if the resulting product turnover tends to be slower than the maturities of the financing, it will cause the company to pay more expensive. So that would cause profitability to decline. For investors this research expected to describe the condition of the working capital policies adopted at the company's manufacturing sector in general and agroindustry manufacturing company and non agroindustry in particular. Investors can consider internal factors significant in this study in decision making related to the working capital policies and profitability and the value of the company before deciding to invest in manufacturing companies. Investors are expected to continue to be able to analyze the activity related to liquidity and working capital
