The Psychological Influence of Online Community of Inquiry on University Students\u27 Critical Thinking Dispositions and English Academic Level
Critical thinking is becoming part of core competences for the future career development and it is also a crucial objective for talent development at the information age. Critical thinking encompass both cognitive skills and disposition to think. The better the development of critical thinking dispositions, the stronger the individual\u27s critical thinking ability is. However, There is comparatively little empirical study on critical thinking dispositions among students who do not major in English in China. As a result, the usefulness of online community of inquiry in improving Chinese university students\u27 critical thinking dispositions and English academic level were investigated in this study. 50 freshmen enrolled in a College English course at a university in Tangshan, Hebei, China, took part in the study. The study\u27s findings suggest that online community of inquiry can improve students\u27 English academic level and critical thinking dispositions with significantly positive impact on students\u27 English academic level but without significant positive influence on students’ critical thinking dispositions. The limitations of research and their implications are also discussed
Stress Management & Coping Strategies for Covid 19 Orphaned Children
Covid 19 pandemic has brought very severe impact in the mental health of the children who became orphaned. The Lancet (2021) reported that 119,000 Indian children lost a prime caretaker either a parent or both the parents or grandparents. Even while stress is a normal part of life, each child experiences it differently and finds it difficult. The coping technique is distinctive as well. This discussion paper is based on secondary data. For the purpose of developing this research paper, prior studies and papers gathered from books, Google Scholar, Research Gate, and other online sources are taken into consideration. This secondary research study covered the stress experienced by Covid 19 orphaned children, as well as the physiological impacts of stress, coping mechanisms, stress management, time management, and motivation-boosting techniques. In each of these situations, orphaned children will endure a mental health crisis
The Importance of Mental Development in Addressing Youth Unemployment: A Psychological Case Study of Skill Retention in Development Programmes
A person without a job and actively looking for one is unemployment. A person must be capable and willing to work without a job, of legal working age, and actively looking for employment to be considered jobless for lawful and statistical purposes. Youth Unemployment (YU) rates are often greater than adult rates in any nation on Earth. Assessing the youth retention rate in the state and corporate skill development (SD) programs is necessary for understanding mental development\u27s function in reducing unemployment in Maharashtra and its influence on the state\u27s economy. To gather information, turned to a variety of primary and secondary sources. The population of the state of Maharashtra is represented by a sample size of two hundred people. The state government of Maharashtra requires all of that to participate in SD programs. All of the procedures for cluster sampling were successful. The vast majority of participants agreed or strongly agreed that understanding the role of developing skills and its effects on unemployment in Maharashtra, as well as understanding the retention rate of Young People (YP) in such programs in comparison to Maharashtra, helps recognize that the government and businesses in Maharashtra run skills training programs. Cultivating skilled employees is one of the primary purposes served by SD programs that could assist companies in reaching goals. Because of this, the state\u27s economy will suffer because skilled employees can adequately contribute to the expansion of multiple firms
Psychological Impact of Cryptocurrency Volatility on Investor Emotions and Decision Making
Introduction: Introduction: The impact of cryptocurrency volatility on investor emotions and decision-making refers to how the erratic and swift price changes of cryptocurrencies can have an impact on investors\u27 psychological states and ultimately influence their investing choices. Since the start of 2013, the cryptocurrency market has drawn a lot of attention from the media and academia due to its significant price fluctuations.
Methods: By examining the impact of behavioral finance characteristics on investment choices in the cryptocurrency market, this study focuses on Arab investors who invest in the market. Through the use of questionnaires and a snowball sampling technique, a quantitative approach was taken.
Result: The findings demonstrate that prospect theory, heuristic theory, and herding theory all significantly influence investors\u27 choice to invest in the bitcoin market. This highlights the important part played by the suggested behavioral elements in influencing investors\u27 investing choices. By combining the findings of other studies, this work adds to the body of existing research. Additionally, it boosts the ability of investors to make defensible decisions based on their grasp of the mechanics of the Bitcoin market.
Conclusion: The implications of the findings will help errant investors become increasingly ready to stay in the bitcoin market and advance their knowledge of the most effective way to make wise investment decisions. The results of this study will also motivate financial experts to acknowledge that knowledge of conventional finance theory is insufficient for success in the bitcoin market
Examining the Psychological Role of Self-Efficacy in Teachers\u27 Adaption to Remote Learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic
Introduction: This research aimed to investigate the correlation between extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) variables and teachers\u27 self-efficacy in distance learning through the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic. Additionally, researchers listened to teachers as they discussed their impartial opinions in the classroom perceptions on the benefits, drawbacks, and difficulties of coaching remotely during the COVID-19 epidemic.
Method: The expanded TAM model\u27s components and instructors\u27 self-confidence in remote instruction through the COVID-19 epidemic were compared using a survey and a 49-item questionnaire. The parameters in the expanded TAM model and the teacher\u27s self-efficacy were compared using a stepwise technique for multiple regressions. The difficulties, benefits, and drawbacks of remote instruction during the epidemic were thoroughly investigated in three open-ended questions.
Result: Challenges with Internet connectivity, an absence of contact and communication, and issues with student motivation participation were among the qualitative results. The degree of self-efficacy of instructors in utilizing technology to educate, an absence of support and properties for online instruction, and difficulties in energizing and engaging pupils were all disadvantages. Rich materials, differentiation for the instructor, flexibility, and a means to help students when face-to-face education is not available were among the advantages perceived.
Conclusion: Teachers encounter a variety of difficulties and doubts when they deploy remote learning. In this situation of distance learning, self-efficacy is confidence in one\u27s own ability to perform tasks, overcome challenges, and arrive at desired results

The Psychological Effect of Life Satisfaction on Work Engagement: Mediating Variable of Self-Efficacy for Managing Work-Family Conflict
The contemporary work environment is changing so quickly and unpredictable as a result of global competition, making having people who are highly engaged in their work the ideal situation for a firm to succeed. Using self-efficacy for managing work-family conflict (SE-MWFC) as the mediating variable and demographic factors gender, age, and years of service as the moderating variables, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between life satisfaction and job engagement. 166 workers from Jakarta\u27s private sector companies—47 men and 119 women—served as the study\u27s subjects. Self-reports that gauge life satisfaction, workplace engagement, and SE-MWFC were used to gather the data. With AVE coefficients all above 0.50 and alpha Cronbach reliability coefficients all above 0.60. all research measuring devices show convergent and discriminant validity. Using the SMARTPLS tool, path analysis and structural equation modeling was used to verify research hypotheses. The findings indicated that (1) life satisfaction was significantly positively correlated with work engagement, (2) life satisfaction was significantly positively correlated with SE-MWFC, (3) SE-MWFC significantly acted as a mediating variable to the relationship between life satisfaction and work engagement, and (4) gender demographic variables were significantly proven to be moderating variables, while age and length of work were not proven to be moderating variables in relationships between life satisfaction and work engagement. The main implication of this study is how crucial the SE-MWFC is as a mediating variable in understanding the relationship between life satisfaction and employee work engagement. In an effort to strengthen the link between life pleasure and employee work engagement, firms can also take employee demographic aspects into consideration
Comparative Study of Dry-Needling VS Tens in the Trearment of Shin Splint in State Level Marathon Runners
Background :- Shin splint is one of the most common injuries presented in Athletes. Occurs due to overuse, exercise induced pain along the medial region of the shin and notably along
the posteromedial distal\third of the tibia and the muscles posterior to the tibial bone, known as "shin splints". History, investigation, palpation and observation is used to examine the injury. The treatment includes TENS, Dry needling, cryotherapy, hydro collateral packs. Etc.
Aims and objectives: To see the efficacy of Dry needling and TENS in the treatment of shin splint in state level marathon players.
Methods: Marathon runners both male and female with shin splint were allotted in two groups. A and B by simple random sampling with the chit method. Group A- 15 Athletes were treated by TENS and group B- 15 athletes were treated by Dry Needling. Both groups received treatment for 2 weeks and 7 sessions. Each session was around 30 minutes. Both groups were assessed by history, investigation, palpation and examination. Pain was assessed by NPRS and Pressure Algometer and ROM of the ankle by goniometer.
Result: All the outcome measures showed statistical significant P values and increase in Range of motion and mitigation of pain in both the groups. However, TENS was more acceptable modality among patients between the two as patients reported more apprehensive and sceptical with invasive method like Dry Needling.
Conclusion: The above study concludes that both Dry Needling and TENS are effective in reducing pain, increasing ROM. But clinically the patients had a better response to TENS as it is an non-invasive method, also more familiar than Dry- Needling
