Financial literacy has emerged as a critical life skill, particularly for young adults navigating complex financial systems characterized by digital payments, credit expansion, and investment innovations. In India, despite several initiatives by SEBI, RBI, and educational institutions, evidence suggests that college students often lack the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions. This study examines the impact of financial education programs on college students’ personal finance skills in the District of East Singhbhum. A quasi-experimental design was adopted, employing a pre-test and post-test methodology. Data were collected from [X] students across multiple disciplines, using a structured questionnaire based on the OECD-INFE and RBI financial literacy frameworks. Statistical tools such as paired t-tests, ANOVA, and regression analysis were applied to measure changes in financial knowledge, budgeting skills, savings behavior, and investment awareness. Preliminary findings indicate that structured financial education programs significantly improve students’ ability to plan, save, and manage credit effectively. Moreover, demographic factors such as gender, income, and academic background influence the extent of improvement. The study highlights the urgent need to embed financial literacy modules within higher education curricula to foster responsible financial behavior and long-term financial well-being. The results hold practical implications for policymakers, regulators, and educators in designing targeted financial education strategies

    Get PDF
India’s maritime outlook in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR) has evolved from a largely Asian outlook to multi-dimensional strategy that integrates security, trade and global projection.  The policy currently reflects an ideal mix of diplomacy, blue-economy growth, and modern naval capability. With the region assuming renewed global significance due to strategic competition, India’s current approach demonstrates increasing assertiveness and vision. The study traces India’s maritime evolution, the systematic transformation of its strategic posture, the influence of China and other regional players, and the interplay of technology and geopolitics shaping the future. As India attains de-facto veto-holding status as a global actor, its Indian Ocean policy embodies both national ambition and regional responsibility. This paper concludes by recommending greater institutional integration, innovation, and collective security frameworks for a stable Indo-Pacific. &nbsp

The present investigation was made to determine how top-notch training can significantly increase soccer player’s leg strength. Sixty college level soccer players (n = 60) aged between 18-24 years were randomly selected as the subject of this study. The selected subjects were randomly assigned into three equal groups with twenty subjects each (n = 15). The group I was involved with strength training (STG), group II was given combined strength training with explosive movements (STEG) and group III acted as a control (CG). The experimental groups underwent their respective experimental treatment for eight weeks, 3 days a week and a session on each day. The control group was not exposed to any specific training apart from their regular programme. The Maximum Leg Strength was taken as variable for this investigation, which was measured in kilo grams. The pre and post test were conducted one day before and after the experimental treatment. The collected data were analysed using analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and Scheffe’s test was applied as a post hoc test to determine which of the paired mean difference significantly. The result of the study revealed that both the two training groups such as strength training (STG) and combined with strength and explosive (STEG)  training produced significant improvement on maximum leg strength (p ≤ 0. 05) as compared to control group (CG). However there was an insignificant difference (p ≥ 0. 05) between the two training groups. The result of this study is revealed that the strength training with explosive movements is the best way to improve the maximum leg strength of soccer players

    Get PDF
Background/Objectives: The importance and frequency of practice training usage by nursing home care workers were investigated based on their vocation to gather basic information for developing practice content relevant to work. Methods/Statistical analysis: The reasons behind needs for online hands-on training based on occupation were determined by descriptive statistics and chi-square verification using SPSS Window Ver. 25.0. A baseline was established, each score was depicted as a radar chart, and priorities were set by calculating the average of the importance and frequency of use of hands-on training. Finally, the essential components of the additional hands-on training were analyzed and arranged using Word Cloud. Findings: For nursing home care workers, special care (dementia), emergency response, emotional activity support, and health care activity support were the tasks with an average importance score of 3.74 ± 0.87 and a frequency of use score of 3.49 ± 0.84 for hands-on training. Nursing home care managers had a higher average importance and frequency of use scores than caregivers. Special care tasks (dementia) had an average importance and frequency of use scores of 3.97 ± 0.85 and 3.66 ± 0.96, respectively. The priority analysis performed by calculating the sum of the importance and frequency of use scores for the practice training of nursing home care workers and managers revealed that the first and second positions were special care (dementia) and emergency response, respectively, and were observed for both nursing home care workers and managers. However, after the third position, it varied depending on the characteristics of each occupation. Improvements/Applications: The improvement of nursing home care skills through online care practice training programs is critical to improve the quality of life of elderly long-term care service recipients in the future. Furthermore, interventional studies are needed to verify the effectiveness of practice content training. Therefore, qualitative research involving in-depth interviews and content analysis with experts is recommended to obtain results that reflect the expertise of the profession

The Necessity of Humanitarian and Legal Protection at the Stages of Criminal Investigation

    No full text
The relevance of fundamental individual rights in national criminal justice systems is well established. For instance, the Magna Carta of 1215 guarantees liberty, a fair criminal trial, legality, and equitable punishment. International human rights law has grown in importance, especially after WWII. Human rights have shaped the criminal justice system in recent decades, making it a crucial legal topic. This is anticipated, as illustrated in the following paragraphs. The criminal justice system is the state\u27s most powerful instrument amid domestic tranquilly. This phenomenon is usually coercive. Criminal law and procedure always violate an individual\u27s freedom and social space. To repress more severe offences and protect individual rights against even greater infringements, a criminal justice system may be required. Safety and protection of the population are governmental priorities. States cannot offer appropriate security without criminal justice institutions, as has been shown throughout history. Thus, the criminal justice system is vital to governmental authority. Due to the nature of the criminal justice system, every Rechtsstaat (state that follows the rule of law) has a monopoly or major authority over criminal justice. Human rights belong to people and communities, not the state. Many believe these rights are inherent and unalienable and that everyone has them by virtue of their humanity. Even from a positivist viewpoint, human rights involve vital concepts to protect people against governmental power. International human rights treaties, which include processes for individual complaints, and constitutional reforms have improved the legal protection of individuals. Given the criminal justice system\u27s inherent oppression and the expanding legal enforceability and protective aim of fundamental principles, human rights are expected to have a substantial influence on criminal justice. Thus, human rights are not incompatible with substantive criminal law, criminal procedure law, and sentence law, which constitute the foundation of the criminal justice system. There are similarities between criminal law and human rights laws that apply to the criminal justice system. The concepts of proportionality, subsidiarity/necessity, honesty, and justice underpin criminal and human rights law

    No full text
This groundbreaking research delves into the often-overlooked realm of oral hygiene among pediatric patients with upper arm disabilities undergoing physiotherapy treatment. In a year-long prospective study, we aimed to assess and enhance oral health by introducing a pioneering Oral Hygiene Disability Scale. The prevalent neglect of oral care in this vulnerable population prompted the development of a comprehensive scale, evaluating crucial tasks such as tooth brushing, flossing, and tongue scraping. The study involved 80 children aged 3 to 18 with various types of cerebral palsy, undergoing physiotherapy strengthening intervention. The pre-intervention phase utilized the Oral Hygiene Index, revealing diverse oral hygiene statuses among participants. This initial assessment pinpointed a critical issue of suboptimal oral hygiene, indicating potential dental and systemic consequences. Introducing the Dental Disability Scale into the physiotherapy regimen allowed for a nuanced evaluation of patients\u27 ability to perform essential oral hygiene tasks. Post-intervention, the scale demonstrated significant improvement, emphasizing the efficacy of integrating oral hygiene education into physiotherapy. The discussion highlights the pressing need to address oral health in pediatric patients with upper arm disabilities, shedding light on the potential consequences of neglect. The newly developed Dental Disability Scale proves to be an invaluable tool in assessing and improving oral hygiene outcomes. The collaborative approach advocated in this research emphasizes the necessity for interdisciplinary care involving physiotherapists, pediatricians, and dental professionals. While recognizing limitations, such as [insert limitations], the study paves the way for future research directions, encouraging ongoing exploration in the holistic care of vulnerable populations. In conclusion, this research project not only evaluates pre and post oral hygiene status but introduces a transformative approach to patient care. By integrating oral health education into physiotherapy, it establishes a precedent for comprehensive, interdisciplinary care that prioritizes the overall well-being of pediatric patients with upper arm disabilities
