A Feasibility Study Of Use Of Corn Cotton Blended Fabric In Apparel Industry
The garment business has a huge environmental effect. Cotton, a popular garment fabric, is water- and pesticide-intensive to produce. Sustainable corn-cotton mixed cloth replaces cotton. Its corn-cotton combination lowers water and pesticide use. Corn-cotton hybrid cloth has less carbon impact than cotton. This research examines the viability of corn-cotton mixed clothing fabric. Corn-cotton mixed fabric\u27s environmental effect, characteristics, and commercial possibilities are examined. The research also examines corn-cotton mixed fabric marketing difficulties and potential. The research suggests that corn-cotton hybrid fabric may replace cotton in garments. It offers equivalent fabric characteristics, lesser environmental impact, and high commercial potential. Production costs and customer ignorance prevent corn-cotton mixed fabric from being commercialized. The increased demand for sustainable materials and awareness of the garment industry\u27s environmental effect provide business potential. Consumer preferences for corn-cotton mixed fabric were also tested. The sample indicated that corn-cotton mixed fabric is popular with customers, particularly those concerned about the environment. This research suggests that corn-cotton hybrid fabric might replace cotton in garments. However, further study is required to overcome commercialization obstacles and create cheaper manufacturing techniques

“Water Resources Management In Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary And Eco-Sensitive Zone: A Geospatial Approach”
Water is essential for preserving ecological balance, supporting human and animal life, as well as for all types of economic and development activities. It is a valuable and in-demand resource, especially in places like Nahargarh Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESZ), where the Nahargarh Wildlife Sanctuary is a prominent feature. Water resource management in Nahargarh wildlife sanctuary and ESZ is crucial for sustaining wildlife and plant species. Proper allocation, conservation, and monitoring of water resources ensure that habitats remain balanced and resilient. Adequate water availability supports diverse ecosystems, promotes plant growth, and ensures the survival of wildlife, fostering a harmonious coexistence between nature and humans. This paper included a background study about Nahargarh ESZ, and based on that, various parameters have been studied as a part of water resources management. This paper contains a study about the existing scenario of waterbodies around Nahargarh wildlife sanctuary and also outlines a study about drainage networks and watersheds especially for Nahargarh ESZ. The natural features of Nahargarh ESZ have been analyzed using GIS (Geographical Information System) techniques. Stream order and stream network, aquifer related data, the Digital Elevation Model (DEM), slope analysis, and identification of wet land areas surrounding major waterbodies-related data in Nahargarh ESZ provided further direction for water management initiatives. The study\u27s role in preserving wildlife and their habitats is substantial, as it identifies optimal water allocation strategies. Moreover, its contribution extends to policy formulation, influencing decisions about water management in environmentally sensitive regions. The Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques employed in the study pave the way for future spatial analyses, collaborative efforts, and informed decision-making in comparable contexts, ultimately ensuring the harmonious coexistence of nature and human activities in the long term

Assessing Cyclonic Wave Heights In The Arabian Sea Using Deep Learning Models.
Ocean wave heights in the Arabian Sea during tropical cyclones (TC) are predicted using deep learning models based on long short-term memory (LSTM) and bidirectional short-term memory (BLSTM) networks. The models utilize different lead times. Combining the BLSTM model with the traditional numerical wave models can provide a more accurate and computationally efficient forecast method for large wave height data. Two grids, G1 (71.5°E, 22.0°N) and G2 (67.1°E, 22.6°N), have been selected for the Arabian Sea (AS). Based on these grids, the model estimated significant wave heights are constructed, and the cyclones TAUKTAE (15 May–19 May 2021) and BIPARJOY (06 June–15 June 2023) went through. Deep learning models are used to estimate significant wave heights under severe situations, and the accuracy is compared using root mean square error (RMSE). Time series for grid G1 are examined from 1983 to 2021, whereas shorter time series for grid G2 are examined from 2013 to 2023. With the goal of achieving the least amount of error, the LSTM and BLSTM models are evaluated using various hidden units and epoch settings after being trained with 80% data. Less error was produced by the larger time-series for the training set, whether or not the TC conditions were included. The shorter time-series including the cyclonic data produced higher error for the 20% testing set. Additional forecasts with varying lead periods or delays were made, which increased inaccuracy. This has to do with the model\u27s diminishing power as the forecast horizon gets longer
Isolation And Identification of Flavonoids from Madhuca Indica (Sapotaceae): A Comprehensive Phytochemical Analysis
Madhuca indica is a forest tree that grows in Malaysia and central and northern India. It is frequently seen in Bangladesh and other regions of the Indian subcontinent. These parts are used to treat a wide range of illnesses, including infestations of the helm, low testosterone count, headaches and migraines bloating, infections, rheumatic arthritis, cholera, paralysis, snakebite, debility, tonsillitis, influenza, piles, arthritic pain, and bacterial infections. They are also used as a purifying blood and an antidote to a poisonous substance
In current flavonoids contained in Madhuca indica aerial parts were extracted, identified and characterized. Sequential Soxhlet extraction was subjected to preliminary phytochemical screening and flavonoid quantification. The results showed that maximum yield of the flavonoid content (% w/w) were obtained from ethyl acetate extract. This ethyl acetate extract was subjected to column chromatography for isolation of flavonoid. Characterization of isolated flavonoid was done by UV, IR, 1H NMR and MS. On the basis of chemical and spectral analysis structure were elucidated as quercetin, rutin apigenin and naringenin flavonoid
