Arranged Marriages And Family Dynamics Of Interpersonal Relationships In India

This practice involves families playing a central role in selecting life partners for their children based on various criteria, including caste, religion, and social status. This paper explores the intricate dynamics of arranged marriages, emphasizing the pivotal role of families in the matchmaking process. While family involvement can provide a sense of support and security, it can also lead to challenges as individuals navigate between their own desires and familial expectations. Additionally, the emphasis on long-term commitment and family stability in arranged marriages is discussed, along with the impact of factors like religion and caste on partner selection. The evolving landscape of arranged marriages, including the emergence of semi-arranged and love-cum-arranged marriages, is also highlighted, demonstrating the adaptability of this tradition in the face of changing societal norms and individual preferences. Overall, this study provides a glimpse into the complex interplay between arranged marriages and family dynamics in the context of interpersonal relationships in India
Yoga As A Viable Non-Pharmacological Approach For Primary Dysmenorrhea: An In-Depth Review And Meta-Analysis
No full textObjective: Despite the historical marginalisation of women and the progress made in securing their legal rights, primary dysmenorrhea continues to present difficulties that impact women\u27s physical and emotional health. This meta-analysis investigates yoga\u27s effectiveness as a non-pharmacological treatment for primary dysmenorrhea.
Method: A systematic review utilising Shodhganga, Research Gate, and PubMed was carried out in accordance with PRISMA standards on studies published from 2010 to 2023. Primary dysmenorrhea and effective yoga therapies were the main inclusion criteria. Studies that were not experimental or that dealt with other forms of dysmenorrhea were not included.
Results: Twenty studies are included in the meta-analysis, which highlights yoga\u27s effectiveness in easing the symptoms of primary dysmenorrhea. Across a wide range of demographics, asanas, pranayamas, and meditation dramatically reduce menstruation discomfort and enhance general wellbeing.
Discussion: Yoga has been shown to have a persistent good impact on general development, stress levels, and pain reduction. As a non-pharmacological intervention, it is a safe and effective choice for managing primary dysmenorrhea. The utilisation of an Android app for yoga relaxation and the possibility of increasing beta-endorphin levels through a yoga-murottal intervention are noteworthy findings.
Conclusion: Yoga is a valuable, all-encompassing, and reasonably priced treatment for primary dysmenorrhea since it treats the mental and physical components of the condition. The evidence base has to be strengthened by larger, more diversified populations and more research using standardised procedures. For the reduction of menstruation discomfort, yoga provides a specialised and scientifically supported approach

No full textTraining means giving new or current employees the skills that they need to perform their jobs. Training evaluation has a far higher profile now than it did in the past. There is a requirement to prove the connection between an investment in training and an improvement in organizational performance. The fact is that the benefits of sustained long-term investment in training are usually impossible to calculate accurately. An organization that has sanctioned a major increase in training expenditure will also be doing other things differently-there will be new managers, new products, new markets & so on. In this background only the present study is undertaken. The main purpose of the study is to find out the training effectiveness of one programme on the faculty. This study is extremely important in the context that faculty members are the pivotal element of any academic institution is considered and the quality of faculty affects the functioning of the academic institution. The institute is in the process of becoming autonomous and a special training programme is imparted for the faculty members. “Curriculum Framework, Design & Development” was the name of the training programme and highly qualified and skilled faculty gave the training. The study is divided into 6 parts. Namely Pre- Training Experience, Learning Experience, Environment& Delivery, Survey on Instructor, Training Content, Modules & Structure, Accessibility, &Training Effectiveness. Structured questionnaire was used to elicit information from the faculty regarding the above survey and a sample of 30 faculty members were selected as sample. The analysis of the questionnaires was done using a Likert scale and results were found. The study revealed that the overall training effectiveness was good on a five-point scale (3.55). The respondents were also happy with the accessibility of the training center. Some measures to be taken to improve the quality of the instructor. As the respondents were a homogeneous group, the responses can be considered as typical of the whole group. The study also discusses the importance of T& D in educational institutions and especially in case of autonomous set-ups

No full textThis paper examines how Amitav Ghosh\u27s Sea of Poppies implies that human exploitation or systems of dominance over other humans are more likely to be the root cause of environmental issues than anthropocentric views alone. He investigates the nature of changes in the 19th and 20th centuries to the global environment. This novel describes how over use of nature has led to ecocritical degradation. Ecological imperialism takes the form of environmental racism. He draws attention to the way that imperialist rule forces only the growth of poppies throughout all of Calcutta, including Bihar. Due to her lack of money, Deeti also utilises opium as a means of payment to repay Kalua for his benevolence. Bees are drawn to the pleasant scent of poppies, according to Ghosh. The fisherman in the book uses opium to catch fish more quickly. Like other monkeys, monkeys are also victims of opium. They never engage in social interactions, fight among themselves, steal items or food from others, or descend—they just descend to eat and then climb back up. Holy River\u27s state is defined by Ghosh as unfavourable to the environment. Ghosh pays attention to his social ecology wisdom, which clarifies the notion that environmental issues are not just caused by human exploitation of nature; human exploitation of nature is also a factor

Material and Methods: The study was conducted in Department of Zoology, SGA Govt. Degree College, Yellamanchili, Anakapalli District, Andhra Pradesh state.
Results: The study revealed that the commonest blood group was O (44 %) followed by B(30.75 %), A(21.5 %) and AB (3.75 %)
Conclusion: The most common blood group in our donors was O positive(42.75 %) and the least common was AB negative

The paper shows the basic and cheaper hardware which can be used for the VT & VS of the vehicle in Indian Market. However, the state-of-the-art technology for RFID is better for several reasons because of its numerous advantages which are also mentioned in this study.
