Effectiveness Of Implementing The Examplary Wives School Program In An Effort To Increase Family Resilience
No full textThe family serves as the primary platform for individual growth and development, influencing the quality of human resources and, consequently, a nation\u27s progress. Modern societal changes have led to shifts in familial roles, functions, communication patterns, and parenting approaches, contributing to prevalent issues such as communication breakdowns, economic challenges, differing opinions, role adjustments, and parenting conflicts. These problems often culminate in divorce, domestic violence, teenage delinquency, sexual violence, and substance abuse.
Indonesia, reflecting global trends, faces an escalating rate of divorces, with 516,344 cases reported in 2022. The country also witnesses a surge in domestic violence cases, attributed to economic factors, child marriage, and legal awareness. In response to these challenges, the Sawahlunto City government initiated the Exemplary Wife School (SILO) program in 2021, designed to enhance family resilience. The program aims to address diverse issues through a comprehensive curriculum covering topics like family financial management, child development, and balanced nutrition.
Results indicate positive impacts on the city\u27s targets, such as a decline in cases of violence against children and women, a reduction in divorce rates, and improvements in human development and gender development indices. However, challenges persist, particularly in managing family finances and guiding children\u27s use of technology. The study underscores the importance of ongoing program refinement, encouraging male participation, and addressing specific indicators for comprehensive family resilience.
In conclusion, the Sawahlunto City Exemplary Wife School Program demonstrates promise in enhancing family resilience. While positive outcomes are evident, continuous efforts are required to optimize the program\u27s effectiveness and address specific family dynamics, thereby contributing to the broader goal of building resilient families in the community

Detection Of Fake Online Reviews Using Semi-Supervised And Supervised Learning
No full textIn the era of booming social media and e-commerce, the authenticity of online reviews has become a critical factor influencing consumer decision-making. This study presents an innovative approach to combating the proliferation of fake online reviews, combining semi-supervised and supervised learning techniques. Our method involves extracting pertinent features from review text and employing them to train a supervised classifier, augmented by a semi-supervised algorithm designed to identify and eliminate potentially fraudulent reviews. We leverage a comprehensive dataset comprising genuine and fake reviews, and our results demonstrate the superior performance of our proposed method compared to existing techniques. It achieves a high accuracy rate in identifying fake reviews while effectively minimizing false positives. in parallel, the increasing importance of social media monitoring highlights the significance of analyzing social data to gain insights into consumer behaviour. To this end, we conduct sentiment analysis on Twitter tweets, focusing on user reviews of movies. This paper introduces a novel combined dictionary that incorporates social media keywords and online review data. Additionally, we uncover hidden relationship patterns among these keywords, shedding light on the intricate dynamics of online sentiment expression.
As online shopping continues to gain popularity, online reviews have emerged as pivotal factors in e-commerce decision-making. A substantial portion of consumers routinely consult product and store reviews before making purchasing decisions. Unfortunately, this heightened reliance on reviews has given rise to a surge in fake, spam, or poorly constructed reviews that can mislead consumers. Therefore, the need to distinguish genuine from fraudulent reviews is more critical than ever.
Our study addresses this issue by leveraging machine learning techniques, including supervised and semi-supervised learning, to accurately detect fake reviews. Recognizing that obtaining labelled data can be challenging, we emphasize developing models requiring minimal labelled data. Our approach ensures efficiency, providing rapid results while maintaining high accuracy.
In this paper, we explore various classification algorithms, including support vector machines (SVM), random forests (RF), and deep neural networks, to discern the authenticity of online reviews. By combining the power of these algorithms and the use of unlabeled data through semi-supervised learning, we strive to enhance the credibility of online reviews and promote informed decision-making in the realms of e-commerce and social media
Group Intervention to Improve Quality of Life among Siblings of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
No full textObjective: To evaluate group intervention for siblings designed to increase siblings\u27 Quality of life. Methods: Twenty well siblings (ages 8–12 years) were recruited through special schools serving children with developmental disabilities. The PedsQL parent version was used before and after the intervention. A sample of 20 families completed a 3-month follow-up to assess the maintenance of results. Results: After attending 6 group sessions, there was an improvement in the PedsQL scores to 88.3 (± 9.9), respectively (p-value < 0.001). Furthermore, subjects showed significant improvement in 2 out of the 4 PedsQL subscales, namely emotional and social function (p-value < 0.001) maintained at 3-month follow-up. Conclusions: The results support continued development and testing of family-based, early interventions to promote good Quality of life among young siblings of children with developmental disabilities.

Phytochemical Investigation and Pharmacological Evaluation of Medicinal plant extracts for Potential Antioxidant Activity
No full textThe objective of the study was to investigate the Phytochemicals of Ethyl acetate and Methanol extracts of Annona reticulata L. stem bark.
The present study reports physicochemical characterization, antioxidant of stem bark extracts from Annona reticulata L. plant collected from local region of Nanded, Maharashtra, India, and authenticated by botanist. Different physical parameters like ash values, extractive value, Loss on drying, etc. were evaluated for powdered drug. The extracts were obtained from Soxhlet method by using Petroleum ether, Ethyl acetate and methanol as solvents for extraction and subjected for preliminary phytochemical evaluation and antioxidant studies.
Total phenolic and flavonoids content were also analyzed. The presence of primary and secondary metabolites such as carbohydrate, proteins, alkaloids, phenolic compounds, was confirmed through preliminary phytochemical analysis. DPPH free radical scavenging assays showed antioxidant activities with increase in concentration of Ethyl acetate and Methanol stem bark extracts

Impact Of Employer Branding On Employee Engagement
No full textThis study examines how employer branding will influence the workplace of the future, concentrating on how it will affect worker satisfaction, engagement, retention, and acquisition of top talent. The goals were to investigate the connection between employer branding and these results, gauge senior management\u27s opinions of employer branding, and investigate the variables affecting the workplace of the future. A mixed-methods strategy was used, and surveys given to senior management and employees within a particular organisational context were used. The results show that employer branding and employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention are significantly positively correlated. Top management also understood the significance of employer branding in establishing the workplace of the future. The study highlights the significance of employer branding in influencing key organizational outcomes and provides insights into the perceptions of employees and top management. However, limitations such as the specific context, self-reported data, and the crosssectional design should be considered. Future research should address these limitations and explore other stakeholders\u27 perspectives and potential moderating factors. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on employer branding and its implications for the future workplace
