Awareness of Oral Hygiene Maintenance and Correlation to the Dental Caries Status among School Going Children
The prevalence of childhood dental caries remains a significant health concern, exerting detrimental effects on oral health and potentially impacting the overall well-being of affected individuals. This cross-sectional study aimed to assess the dental caries status among secondary school children aged 12-15 years and to gauge their awareness of oral hygiene practices. Conducting a questionnaire-based survey, we interviewed 200 school students to gather insights into their dental hygiene practices. The responses provided the foundation for a subsequent basic dental and oral examination, evaluating factors such as the condition of teeth, the number of carious teeth, and existing restorations. Each student underwent a personal interview and examination to ensure individualized attention. The results revealed a concerning prevalence of dental caries, with 65% of the participants exhibiting signs of the condition. However, a positive aspect emerged in the form of high awareness, as 92.5% of the children demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of dental hygiene. Despite this awareness, a disparity between knowledge and practice became apparent, with only 39.5% reporting twice-daily tooth brushing, and a mere 9% having visited a dentist. Additionally, 49% of participants reported rinsing their mouths after every meal, while 44% acknowledged frequent sugar exposure. Only 0.5% adhered to the recommended biannual dental check-ups. In conclusion, this study highlights the urgency of bridging the gap between awareness and effective oral hygiene practices among school children. The discrepancy between knowledge and action underscores the need for targeted interventions. Recommending regular dental check-ups and proposing dental camps within school settings could prove instrumental in improving the current situation. Moreover, an emphasis on comprehensive education for both children and parents is crucial to instill lasting habits that contribute to optimal oral health. Addressing these aspects can pave the way for a healthier future generation with improved oral hygiene practices and reduced prevalence of dental caries

Election Democratization with a Closed Proportional System in Indonesia
Based on the analysis that has been carried out, it was found that the democracy that was implemented after thechanges to the 1945 Constitution in Indonesia, both the first, second, third and fourth, resulted in the existenceof uncontrolled democratic community freedoms. This is reflected in the placement of an open proportionalsystem where the election system that is run makes the public only see the figures of legislative candidates orsimply get money from candidates for legislative members. The normative juridical approach concludes thatclosed proportionality should be the current choice where the function of general elections is left to politicalparties in maintaining the democratic structure in Indonesia as it should be and making the state function as acontroller of people\u27s sovereignty
Precision Medicine in Psychiatric Drug Development: Opportunities and Challenges

This review discusses precision medicine\u27s mental health therapy pros and cons. Finding genetic variants linked to psychiatric disorders has helped researchers understand the molecular basis of major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Genetic markers emphasize the polygenicity of many diseases and enable targeted drug development by identifying therapeutic targets.
Pharmaceutical Genomics and Biomarkers: Biomarkers reveal disease progression, therapy efficacy, and side effects. Gene markers and neuroimaging indications. Pharmacogenomic methods predict therapeutic efficacy and side effects based on genetic differences. Biomarker-driven methods to clinical decision-making provide patient-specific treatment strategies.
Omics Technologies: Genomes, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics provide a complete biological understanding of mental diseases. These technologies help create targeted medicines by identifying therapeutic targets and disease markers.
Drug development and custom treatment: Personalized treatments that target biological processes connected to mental diseases are the focus of precision psychiatry. Biomarker-driven treatment techniques help categorize patients and identify therapies depending on their needs. This strategy streamlines pharmaceutical approval and improves clinical trial design by identifying patient categories likely to benefit from tailored therapy.
Standardsizing procedures, verifying biomarkers, and generating clinical utility recommendations are needed to implement these advancements into clinical practice. Ethical issues around patient privacy and fair access to personalized treatments also present challenges. Treatment heterogeneity and resistance Although personalized treatments have improved, some people still reject treatment, requiring further study of the causes. The heterogeneity of mental diseases requires highly tailored care
Novel Drug Delivery Systems for Targeting Tumor Microenvironment
The advancement of cancer, resistance to treatment, and metastasis are all significantly influenced by the tumor microenvironment (TME). Traditional treatment options face substantial obstacles due to the dynamic and complicated character of this condition. Innovative drug delivery methods have surfaced as viable approaches to accurately target the TME, increasing therapeutic efficacy and reducing off-target effects. This thorough analysis examines cutting-edge medication delivery methods designed to specifically address the complex elements of the TME. It explores methods based on nanoparticles, including liposomes, polymeric nanoparticles, and dendrimers, emphasizing how they can maximize drug accumulation inside the tumor while reducing systemic toxicity. It also covers techniques based on biomaterials, ligand-targeted approaches, stimuli-responsive systems, and cell-mediated drug delivery systems that aim to modulate the TME for better therapeutic effects.
This review also covers new directions and future directions in TME-targeted therapies, such as personalized medicine, nanotechnology developments for precise drug delivery system engineering, the combination of immunomodulation and traditional therapy, exosome-based therapeutics, sophisticated imaging modalities for TME monitoring, artificial intelligence integration in TME analysis, and translational challenges in clinical applications. By permitting precise targeting of the heterogeneous TME and opening the door for more effective and individualized therapeutic interventions, understanding and utilizing these cutting-edge drug delivery methods and developing trends holds great promise to revolutionize cancer therapy paradigms
Ancestral Advancement Arrangements and Social Disarray in Jharkhand: An Anthropological Enquiry
British colonial state transformed the forest dependent swidden agriculturist indigenous people into settled plough agriculturist communities. Colonial agrarian policy was guided by the two agrarian acts, the CNTA and SPTA. In the first phase, emphasis was given on setting up of large-scale industries and promotion of extractive industries to feed them. For power generation, hydroelectricity was a new addition to the existing thermal ones. Agriculture was pushed down to the second grade on the scale of preference. Nothing was done to expand irrigated fields and agriculture was left to the vagaries of rains. The waters of the Multipurpose Hydro-Electric projects, such as Damodar Valley Corporation and Subarnarekha Multipurpose Project flew to the neighboring states of West Bengal and Odisha leaving the land of their origin high and dry. Rain-fed agriculture accompanied by hybrid seeds and chemical fertilizers and pesticides continuously ruined the soil and resulted in low productivity coupled with intermittent drought conditions catalyzed the food insecurity of the people. In the next phase, post 90s economic reform period, more and more agricultural and forest land were diverted towards non-forestry purposes to meet the corporate demand for investment in industry. Agriculture by the small farmers found no place in the policy of ‘Development’ of the post reform period. Jharkhand was formed with the objective of furthering this ‘Development’ agenda. But till now the dreams of people are not fulfilled despite the changes in the development parameters and policies. In this paper I have tried to analyze the developmental prospects and its impact in the state of Jharkhand
Blind Nasal Intubation Technique In Parotid Carcinoma Patient: A Case Report
Introduction: Airway difficulties are a major concern for anesthesiologists. Patients with head and neck cancer have approximately 10% risk of anatomical abnormalities in the aerodigestive tract, which increases the risk of encountering difficulties in airway management. Although fiberoptic intubation is a widely accepted method for managing difficult airways, there are situations where it cannot be performed, such as airway pathology or equipment unavailability in various institutions.
Case presentation: We encountered difficult airway management in a 60-year-old woman with a Mallampati score of 4 due to a parotid tumor T3N0M0 undergoing radical parotidectomy surgery. The patient\u27s current anatomical condition and surgical plan mandates an awake blind nasal intubation. Due to lack of fiberoptic equipment, a pre-curved endotracheal tube that had been frozen overnight was inserted blindly using only topical anesthesia in the nasal cavity and transtracheal block. Intubation was successful on the first attempt without complications.
Conclusions: Blind nasal intubation with a pre-curved tube is an effective and safe procedure to perform on patients with difficult airways when advanced airway equipment such as video laryngoscopy and fiber optics are not available

“Phytochemical And Hypoglycemic Evaluation Of Artemisia Indica Willd Medicinal Plant”
This study investigates the potential anti-diabetic effects of Artemisia indica, a herb that has been used for therapeutic purposes for centuries. A hydroalcoholic extract of Artemisia indica leaves, which are rich in terpenoids, alkaloids, and flavonoids, was shown to be safe for usage, according to studies that investigated acute toxicity. Experiments using rats that developed diabetes due to streptozotocin revealed that the extract has potent anti-diabetic properties. Treatment groups demonstrated significant improvements in oral glucose tolerance, greater serum insulin levels, and significantly lower fasting blood glucose levels in comparison to the control group, which was comprised of individuals with diabetes. In addition to the detection of increased insulin expression in beta cells, histological examination confirmed that the structure of the pancreatic islets had been conserved. In addition, the extract exhibited a significant level of antioxidant activity, and it also showed a reduction in oxidative stress indicators. The findings of this study indicate that Artemisia indica possesses both antioxidant and antihyperglycemic properties, which makes it a possible therapeutic alternative for the treatment of diabetes. Considering the potential of Artemisia indica as a natural anti-diabetic, there is a need for additional research into the molecular processes and therapeutic applications of this plant
