Conational Drivers of Psychological Well-Being (PWB) and Psychology During Online Distance Learning (ODL): Evidence from Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs) Students in Malaysia
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the significance of online learning antecedents (i.e., technical and financial issues, burden of assignments, non-conducive learning environment, students\u27 attitudes, time management, instructors, and fatigue) to psychological well-being.
Theoretical framework: There are two levels of variables included in the theoretical framework of the current study, which are the antecedent variables (i.e., technical and financial issues, burden of assignments, non-conducive learning environment, students\u27 attitudes, time management, instructors, and fatigue) and psychological well-being. The model has a direct relationship between independent variables and psychological well-being. Theories of Human Well-Being and Subjective Well Being
Quality of Life Theory shall form the basis of the theoretical framework for this study.
Design/methodology/approach: Data were analyzed using structured partial least squares modelling (PLS-SEM) where Smart PLS version 4 statistical software was used for the PLS-SEM analysis. In this quantitative study, data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and the sample included 386 Malaysian university students who were currently enrolled in an online course.
Findings: The findings revealed that all online learning antecedents were significantly related to students\u27 psychological well-being. Besides, the findings also showed that technology and financial issues had a greater impact on the psychological well-being of university students, while the other factors had a moderate effect.
Research, Practical & Social implications: Future research may discover some lecturer-related factors that influence students\u27 online learning experiences. For example, in the case of students, other demographic factors such as students’ age, gender, and degree programmes can be investigated to identify the challenges faced by students and the strategies they employ to overcome the challenges. Since this study only consists of business and management as well as accounting students, future studies can focus on other degree programmes at the university. Future studies can also expand the learning context to several higher education institutions from different geographical regions to increase the robustness of the findings
Originality/value: To improve students\u27 psychological well-being, all parties should work together to ensure the success of online learning among university students. Additionally, academic advisors and university counselling services should also increase supportive counselling for students with average academic performance to promote online learning and mental health. In essence, for online learning to succeed, institutions must first train students to take initiative such as communicating with lecturers and classmates or self-study

Gastronomy and Tourism: A Psychological Analysis of the Role of Gastronomy in Tourism
There is a famous saying that goes “We are what we eat”- which implies that food is something that not only gives us nourishment and fuels our body, but the food is a symbol of identity. Food is an important part of our cultural heritage. Culinary cultures, including food habits, cooking methods, use of different ingredients, history of origin, and significance of a specific dish or cuisine are an important part of every culture across the world. In the era of globalization where traditions are getting fused with modernity, it is impacting the regional culinary cultures as well. But within this process of fusion, efforts are also being made to promote traditional culinary cultures. Tourism is an effective way to promote local cultures. Local cuisines and even local products could be showcased to the visitors. Gastronomic tourism which is becoming popular helps destinations to develop based on food. Psychology influences the decision-making of the tourist. On one hand, it influences the tourist’s motivation to travel, and the choice of a destination, the perception, and attitude towards it. On the other, by understanding tourist psychology, the destination could prepare as per their requirement to provide them with a satisfying and memorable experience. This paper aims to understand the interrelation between gastronomy and tourism and a psychological analysis of gastronomy’s role in tourism development.

Systematic Literature Review: What Is Your Fancy in Selecting Teachers, Broad Vs Narrow Traits?
A measurement tool that is growing in popularity and frequently used in a variety of contexts, particularly in promotion, personnel recruitment and professional development, is the Situational Judgement Test (SJT). The SJT also provides more options for educational teacher selection. This study focuses on non-academic qualities, particularly those based on broad and narrow features, in teacher selection. In order to ascertain the subjects addressed and the methodologies employed for the review, this study utilises a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), which encompasses a review methodology. The SLR method consists of four steps: searching, screening, analyzing, and processing the results based on specific criteria. The review encompasses seven studies conducted between January 2012 and December 2021, which examined the utilization of the Situational Judgement Test (SJT) as a tool for teacher selection. These studies collectively cover a duration of ten years. Based on the seven previous studies, a broad trait was identified, namely consciousness. The seven narrow traits recorded are organisation & planning, empathy & communication, adaptability & resilience, mindset, emotion regulation, professional ethics, and enthusiasm & motivation. Consistent with many other studies, the traits and characteristics found can be used as a basis for teacher selection. However, the traits can only be used in the context of the selection process.

Assessing the Socioeconomic and Health Impacts of Internal Displacement: A Study on the Internally Displaced People of Assam
Large numbers of individuals have to flee their homes or residences annually in the context of violence, disaster, conflict, development projects, and environmental and climate change, and stay away from their own countries. Internal Displacement is an improbable catastrophe, and North-East India has the maximum amount of Internally Displaced People (IDP) in India. The people have suffered hugely in the degraded environment, the viciousness of growth and concern of violence, and political conflicts such as for space and ethnic identity. In this study, an endeavor was made to examine the rehabilitation and resettlement procedure of displaced people in Assam. The paper\u27s main objectives are to explore the nature and extent of internal Displacement caused by environmental disasters and ethnic conflict in Assam. In order to cover the analysis, we first designed a research framework that would serve as a guiding frame throughout the study process. So, for assessing the Displacement because of ethnic conflict, four districts are taken. The area teams within those districts visited two urban centers, semi-rural and rural IDP inhabitants. The result of the study revealed that a massive chunk of the areas of Assam witnessed a series of horrendous violence in the post-colonial period. At the same time, the chronic flood problem also results in substantial Displacement for the people of Assam regularly, recurring each year. Peace has been unsustainable in this state, especially in the western region of the state. Killings, extortions, violence, lootings, setting ablaze of villages, kidnappings, and soon have marked the state\u27s political developments for a long. In recent violence trends in Assam, it is distinctly recognized that the victims are mainly the poor people residing in rural areas. Rather than providing shelter, food, and other basic needs, the government must look for permanent rehabilitation and resettlement of the internally displaced persons in Assam. Cash compensation is only a part of the rehabilitation process and must be accompanied by registering the socioeconomic structure of the society. There is also a need to have a clear-cut national policy and a state that may compensate and resettle the internally displaced persons in Assam.

Educational and Psychological Implications of Sleep Habits and Technology Usage: Inattention and Controlled Behaviors
Assessment of education and learning in formal contexts often underestimated the effect of the sleep variable. The sleep behavior and the chronotype of adolescents are important to understand the causes of failure in specific academic tasks, but also affecting classroom behaviors. The chronotype characterizes individuals according to their sleep habits and their preference and willingness to perform their tasks at specific times of the day. Adolescents tend to be evening type contrary to the morningness profile. Evidence supports that evening adolescents will perform better in late schedules. Besides schedules and traditional educational methods, technology-based and digital education are important to comprehend how evening individuals could compensate their cognitive phase during early hours. Two Portuguese empirical studies were compared concerning the educational outputs and the use of technologies attending certain periods of the day. A theoretical framework will be presented grounded by results gathered from the two research studies. This theory evidence based will help to contribute to a better understanding sleep habits and exposure to screens in pubescent population
“Effectiveness of Mulligan\u27s Movement with Mobilization in the Rehabilitation of Sacro Iliac Joint Dysfunction”
Background: Sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJD), allude to the pain in the sacroiliac joint caused by partial subluxation or dislocation in a non-anatomically correct position due to hypermobility or hypomobility within the joint. Mobilization with movement is the manual therapy technique introduced by Brian Mulligan for the management of various musculoskeletal dysfunctions. They address the problems of movement pain and restriction and bring about a change at the time of delivery. Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is due to a positional fault and Brian Mulligan’s mobilization with the movement has been found effective in correcting positional faults. Although there is evidence of Mulligan’s mobilization on improvement in ROM, there is lacuna of strong evidence to supports the hypothesis, that a reversal of positional fault is the predominant mechanism for the action of mulligan’s mobilization. As there is no evidence of the effect of Mulligan’s mobilization in sacroiliac joint dysfunction this study has been undertaken.
Methods: 52 subjects were screened having age group of 18-60 years, both males and females having pain over the SIJ with referral to buttock, groin, posterior aspect of the thigh with or without history of fall, having tenderness over sacroiliac joint on palpation and having 5 positive pain provocation tests out of seven were included. Subjects with Acute trauma to low back, Presence of neurological signs such as numbness & profound muscle weakness, Recent surgery on low back, Limb length discrepancies as it can affect the sacroiliac joint orientation, Inflammatory diseases like Ankylosing spondylitis, RA, Pregnancy, Fractures and other pathologies of unknown etiology and obese patients having indistinct osteal landmarks were excluded. 30 patients who fulfilled the screening criteria were included. Evaluation was done where chief complaints, HOPI, drug history was noted. The innominate bone inclination was measured with the help of pelvic inclinometer. Also baseline evaluation was done by Visual analogue scale (VAS) in SIJ pain and Oswestry low back ache disability index. These patients were then assigned to control group or in experimental group of 15 each, through random allocation sampling. Patients in Experimental Group were treated with mulligan’s mobilization with offending movement for correcting positional fault of SIJ along with hot packs (15 minutes) and core stability exercises and the Control Group received hot packs (15 minutes) and core stability exercises.
Results: Experimental Group and Control Group were compared statistically by using unpaired t test and the P value for pain was found to be p=0.072 (innominate tilt), p=0.016 (VAS), p=0.047 (Oswestry). The P value for carryover effect was found to be p=0.064 (innominate tilt), p= 0.005 (VAS), p= 0.005 (oswestry) which is significant.
Conclusion: Mobilization with movement is effective in mitigating the positional fault at the SIJ, reducing the pain status of the patient thereby alleviating disability and return to activity
An Evaluation of Body Composition of Elites Football Referees in Nigeria: A Descriptive Survey
The dwindling level of performance and non-appearance of Nigerian referees at regional, continental and international competitions has become a matter of great concern to major stakeholders and government of Nigeria. Many questions have been raised as to why Nigerian referees are not regularly invited or involved in major international competition in recent times. Could this be as a result of poor educational background? Is it that Nigerian referees can\u27t measure up to the standard of physical fitness required of football referees as establish by FIFA? Could it be that Nigerian referees are not undergoing the right training programme that would enable them achieve required physical fitness status? All these questions are begging for answers because performance of football referees has a recommended range (standard characteristics or norms) as far as FIFA is concerned, and all referees must meet up with the standard in other to be recognized by the international body. However, to officiate a successful match, a referee is expected to possess basic good physical (age, height and body mass index) performance requirements attributes in addition to having good eye sight and sound state of health, in order to cope with the stress demanded in officiating. The purpose of this study therefore was to evaluate Elite Football Referees\u27 body composition in Nigeria and compare with the standard characteristics or norms. Body composition compared were height and body mass index (BMI) of elite football referees in Nigeria. The subjects of the study consist of 40 active grades one, premier and FIFA referees from Nigeria who are currently officiating in all Nigeria Leagues, CAF and FIFA competitions. Data collected were analysed using descriptive statistic. The results obtained from the analysis of data revealed that, there were no significant differences between the standard characteristic or norms and the referees’ height and body mass index (BMI). Based on the finding of the study, it was recommended among others that, Nigerian Referees\u27 selection and promotion should be based on those that met the standard norms. In conclusion, attention of the Nigeria Football Federation and Nigeria (Football) Referees\u27 Association were drawn to those areas where improvements were needed

Unraveling the Link between Burnout and Employee Indifference: Exploring Pathways for Sustainable Quality Education in Business Schools
Burnout has drawn a lot of attention as a detrimental consequence of ongoing workplace stress that negatively impacts employee well-being and organisational outcomes. According to recent research, employee indifference, which is epitomised by disinterest, disconnect and work detachment, may be a successor to burnout. However, there is no research that has specifically explored this relationship within the context of B-school teachers, where teachers face unique challenges and pressures in their job roles. This research primarily aims to unveil the relationship between burnout and employee indifference, among B-school teachers. The study is quantitative in nature and conducted among the B-school teachers. Validated scales were used to measure burnout and employee indifference of B-school teachers. Correlation and regression were used to examine the relation between the variables: burnout and employee indifference. The primary finding of the research revealed a positive relationship between burnout and employee indifference. Additionally, the study investigated the factors of burnout that explain the link between burnout and employee indifference, including emotional exhaustion, self-inefficacy and cynicism. It was found that cynicism was the most contributing factor of burnout towards employee indifference followed by self-efficacy and emotional exhaustion. These findings emphasize the importance of addressing burnout and employee indifference in an efficient way to enhance teacher well-being and ultimately foster the quality of education in B-schools. By unwinding the relationship between burnout and employee indifference, the study contributes to the body of literature by providing new perspectives and pathways for promoting quality education
