    Get PDF
As the use of digital technologies continues to influence more and more facets of human existence, there has been a substantial uptick in interest in the topic of cyberpsychology, which combines elements of both psychology and technology. The development of artificial intelligence (AI) has had a particularly profound impact on the way in which humans engage with technology and carries with it significant repercussions for mental health.  The advancement of artificial intelligence has resulted in a number of benefits for society, including increased levels of productivity, superior healthcare, and more individualized experiences. However, concerns have been voiced about the potentially detrimental implications that AI could have on a person\u27s mental well-being as a result of its rapid incorporation into everyday life. The purpose of this abstract is to investigate the myriad ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) affects mental health, in both positive and harmful ways. On the bright side, there is the possibility that technologies driven by AI will one day be able to give mental health care and intervention. Chatbots and virtual assistants have the ability to provide instant responses, which can foster a sense of friendship while simultaneously alleviating feelings of loneliness and social isolation. The early detection and diagnosis of mental health illnesses can be aided by algorithms developed by AI, which paves the way for prompt interventions and therapy. In addition, AI-enabled treatments, such as exposure therapy based on virtual reality, have demonstrated significant potential in the treatment of illnesses such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety disorders. However, there are several issues associated with the impact that AI has on mental health. Concerns regarding privacy, data security, and ethical issues have been brought up in light of the growing reliance on technologies driven by artificial intelligence (AI). It is possible for individuals to suffer increased anxiety and a lack of control over their personal information as a result of AI algorithms collecting and analyzing enormous volumes of personal data. Additionally, social media platforms and recommendation systems that are powered by AI have the potential to lead to unfavorable psychological effects, such as addiction, concerns with one\u27s own self-esteem, and excessive social comparison.  The study aims to examine both the positive and negative effects of AI on mental well-being and understand the underlying mechanisms through which AI influences mental health outcomes

    Get PDF
Contemporary Evidence has helped us realize that interdisciplinary approaches, as opposed to individualized periodontal approaches, are needed for most patients with a variety of dental or medical treatment needs. Increased life expectancy, better-quality biomaterials used in dentistry, and the quick evolution of clinical techniques have resulted in more complex treatment options and more exacting patient demands. It necessitates integrated management. This review aims to highlight the advantageous interprofessional relationship between periodontists and oral and maxillofacial surgeons, particularly in the context of dental education and clinical multidisciplinary groups, by specifically addressing maxillofacial science and its connection to periodontics. Through this relationship, a healthy referral protocol could be created to benefit patients psychologically

The supremacy of kinship ties is deeply beholden in Eastern culture. The traditional Indian culture is representative of many kinds of family structures and dynamics based on living arrangements. Indian families typically symbolize a collectivistic approach characterizing mutual dependence and hierarchy. This research study is an attempt to compare and understand the differences in living arrangements in terms of happiness, anxiety, and stress in the post-pandemic era. The global impact of covid-19 pandemic is evident by the transition in the family structure and dynamics. In this research study, the differences in the living arrangements are understood between the two types of living arrangements, namely the traditional joint family and modern nuclear family setup. For this, a sample of 411 young and middle-aged people has been considered, and were administered questionnaires to evaluate their happiness, anxiety, and stress levels. The findings of this research study reveal that the joint family setup is significantly different from the nuclear family setup as the former is associated with increased happiness and lower levels of anxiety and stress as compared to the latter. Furthermore, differences in gender and marital status are also obtained. It can also be concluded that happiness, anxiety, and stress are significantly correlated

In our study, blood was obtained from patients intraoperatively and fibrin membranes were prepared for further use as a surgical material. PRF membranes met our scientific expectations, as they proved in our practice that they shortened period and also created comfort while moving the eyeball after surgery, in comparison with a similar classical method for treating injuries of the zygomatico-orbital complex. Nowadays, there are a number of studies on the healing processes, aimed mainly at identifying the growth factors involved in them, elucidating their mechanism of action, as well as the possibility of using them to improve wound healing. [1] Today, the use of PRF is one of the few methods to modulate and improve tissue healing. [2] However, we have not come across scientific papers on the use of PRF in trauma (PIR). [3] Therefore, the use of fibrin plates in (SOC) has the prospect of scientific research, which gives a positive therapeutic effect. Although the use of PRF is a studied model, the use of PRF in combination with a titanium plate in restoring the integrity of the inferior wall of the orbit is a breakthrough in the field of medicine. [4] In our experience, the use of PRF contributed to a reduction in the length of stay of patients in the hospital, we were able to reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the motor ability of the extraocular muscles in the postoperative period, [5] since the installation of titanium plates without fibrin membranes on the lower wall of the orbit often led to the situation when patient felt discomfort when moving the eyes
