Exploring the Innovative Teaching Methods in Educational Psychology

    Get PDF
The conventional pedagogical approaches, alongside multimedia instructional techniques, are being examined in order to proffer alternative efficacious methods for disseminating knowledge to students.  Essentially, the act of imparting knowledge necessitates the incorporation of two fundamental elements: the transmission and reception of information.  In the pursuit of educational enlightenment, a pedagogue endeavours to disseminate wisdom in accordance with their personal comprehension.  Therefore, any modes of communication that effectively fulfil this purpose without compromising the intended outcome may be regarded as innovative pedagogical approaches. The utilisation of cutting-edge methodologies within educational establishments possesses the inherent capacity to not solely enhance the realm of education, but also to endow individuals with a sense of empowerment, fortify the foundations of governance, and invigorate the collective endeavour towards attaining the overarching objective of human development for the nation

    Get PDF
The development of the biological as well as behavioural disciplines has prepared the path for the incorporation of psychosocial theory into healthcare practice. The core of the biological practice provides behavioural sciences, a behavioural medical field that is crucial to comprehend the concepts of wellness as well as sickness. As a result, addressing wellness and illness has replaced determining if a medical condition or weakness is present or not using the psychological framework in India, which defines wellness as an impression of total well-being in all its forms. Psychiatric issues along with behavioural breakdowns leading to, or connected to tangible and cognitive wellness are assessed, diagnosed, and treated by therapists. Keeping this in mind, the researcher has purposefully adhered to the positivism philosophy as it has helped reinforce rational thinking. The link between the factors alongside how they interplay has been established with the use of deductive reasoning. The scholar has been able to comprehend the real reason as well as the consequence that results in the appearance of this event thanks to the technique of surveying or usage of respondents\u27 replies. The survey technique served as a principal means of collecting information, alongside an adequate number of ten medical participants were selected employing a straightforward random sampling strategy under the quantitative study approach (Refer to Appendix). Psychologists who work in the field of medical products must possess advanced abilities to instruct, extensive instruction, alongside an elevated standard of expertise as they approach morality and appropriate actions

A Psychological Study to Compare the Difference in Expiratory Parameters of Breathing among Normal and Different Respiratory Conditions

    Get PDF
Background: Pulmonary function serves as one of the important measurement tool while studying respiratory disorders and forced spirometry being one of the most effective techniques for assessment of pulmonary disorders. This test provides information on etCO2, peak expiratory flow rate, and forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1). Method: Patients according to selection criteria were divided into 3 groups – Normal, Obstructive and Restrictive with 30 subjects in each group.  Each subject was asked to perform spirometer for FEV1, mini wrights peak flow meter for PEFR and capnogram for etCO2. Results: ANOVA test was done for intergroup comparison between 3 groups and null hypothesis was rejected. Conclusion: Significant difference was found in expiratory parameters among obstructive and restrictive conditions

AI is revolutionising the way we live, work, and interact with the world around us as a revolutionary technology. Its impact on society is likely to grow even further, shaping various aspects of our lives and presenting new opportunities and challenges. It is essential for policymakers, researchers, and the general public to understand and engage with AI\u27s societal implications to harness its potential for the benefit of humanity while mitigating potential risks. This research paper explores the integration of Buddhist ideology to address concerns surrounding the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in facilitating spiritual growth, self-discovery, and personal transformation. Drawing from Buddhist principles of mindfulness, compassion, and ethical conduct, AI\u27s potential role can be shaped in alignment with human values. This paper puts forward a balanced coexistence approach by which a harmonious synthesis can be achieved, enriching human growth while addressing potential concerns

This research paper explores the impact of new emerging technologies adopted by management institutes on students\u27 learning and development, as well as their psychological aspects. The study investigates the students\u27 perceptions and satisfaction levels regarding the integration of technologies such as gamification, Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Learning Management Systems (LMS), mobile learning apps, and cloud-based collaborative tools. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews to gather data from 316 students in a management institute. The results indicate that students have a positive perception of and are significantly satisfied with the implementation of these technologies. The incorporation of new technologies enhances their learning experiences, motivation, engagement, and academic performance. The study highlights the importance of effectively leveraging emerging technologies to create a dynamic and positive learning environment in management education

Manual and Motion Therapy Learning Media Developmenton Augmented Reality based Shoulder Injuries

    Get PDF
Introduction: The rapid development of technology decreases understanding of various theories in the learning process. Objectives to develop and understand the effectiveness of ‘manurak’ (manual dan gerak/manual and motion) therapy learning videos on augmented reality (AR)-based shoulder injuries. Methods: This research and development study applied the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate) model. The subjects of the research involved two media experts as product validators. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the product was examined with the help of 30 Sports Science students, Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, Yogyakarta State University. The data analysis technique in this study involved expert validity tests and the pass rate in AR-based manipulative therapy courses to see the level of effectiveness.   Results: The study found that (1) the average value of total Augmented Reality (AR)-based media used in supporting the learning process was x ̄ = 4.8, which meant that this value was valid because 4 ≤ x ̄ ≤ 5; (2) the results of the student manipulative therapy course examination showed that the average score of students was 83.6 with the 26 students who obtained scores in the ‘complete’ category, while those who did not complete were four people. The percentage of completeness obtained by students was 87% (high category). In comparison, the incomplete was 13%, which meant that learning manipulative therapy courses on shoulder injuries using AR-based media was in the high category or very effective. Conclusions: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that AR-based ‘Manurak’ Therapy Media on Shoulder Injuries was valid and effective for its use

Two scales were applied in this study are self-defeating scale and cognitive distortion. Results: The results revealed that the prevalence of self-defeating behavior and cognitive distortion came within the moderate level. Significant differences were found at (0.05) regarding self–defeating behavior following the educational level variable. These differences were in favor of people who have less than a Bachelor\u27s degree. There were significant differences following the age variable, being in favor of 25 years or older. Significant differences were found at (0.05) level regarding cognitive distortion by the variable of educational level, in favor of people who have less than Bachelor degree. Moreover, a positive statistically significant relationship between self-defeating behavior and cognitive distortion among people was found at (0.05) level. Based on the finding of the study some recommendations were given. Conclusions: This study revealed that the prevalence of self-defeating behavior and cognitive distortion came within the moderate level among the sample. Besides, significant differences were found between self–defeating behavior and educational level, in favor of people who have less than a Bachelor degree, Moreover, significant differences were found between self-defeating behavior and age variable, in favor of 25 years or older.
