An Analytical Review of ORANS: The Traditional Knowledge of Conservation And Management of Natural Environment
Conservation and management of the natural environment are not new to humankind. Since the dawn of civilization, people have understood the importance of protecting biodiversity. Sacred Groves (SGs) are real-world examples of a system for conserving the environment that is present almost everywhere in the world. These SCs go by many names in India, including Koli Kadu in Tamil Nadu, Orans in Rajasthan and Gujarat, Pavithravanams in Andhra Pradesh, Dev-van in Himachal Pradesh, and many others. Every region of the country has unique and indigenous methods to protect and conserve these SCs. This traditional Land Use Practice of Western Rajasthan Orans is a unique example of Gene Pool Conservation based on a sociocultural and economic value system. The goal of this study is to review the participatory methods and management approaches used for the conservation of orans. Varied parts of the country have different conservation and management strategies for SCs, but this study focuses on the hot, desert region of Western Rajasthan. The study finds out how the pastoral community manages the natural resource and conserves biodiversity in the harshest climatic condition of the region by facing various threats to the existence of Orans. Many NGOs, environmentalists, and foresters conducted research to safeguard, restore, and conserve Orans, but this study is attempting to determine the planner’s role in preserving this ancient treasure of our civilization. The coordinated effort from everyone will aid in preserving this systemic knowledge from India.

Hybrid Bamboo Space Grid Structure For Sustainable Envelope
Bamboo is one of those providential developments in Nature which, like the horse, the cow, wheat and cotton, have been indirectly responsible for man\u27s own evolution. It is a giant grass, inherently, a Nature grown pipe and is the fastest growing plant in the world. It is a big carbon sink, having multiple usages and zero waste material having more than 10,000 documented uses.
Space grid structures are a rigid, lightweight, truss-like, two-way spanning, single or double layer or triple layer structure, constructed from interlocking struts in a geometric pattern, in flat or curved plane. These are widely used for industrial buildings, factories, sports halls, warehouses, swimming pools, conference halls and exhibition centers, stadiums with long span etc.
Space grid structures are made up of struts and internodes. Conventionally steel is being used for both elements. If we replace steel struts with bamboo struts, it will make the structure, cost and time efficient with added goodness and elegance of bamboo. For this purpose, bamboo has all mechanical properties to withstand the structural tests and internodes are specifically designed for the purpose.
The paper talks about the structural properties of bamboo and how the internodes’ design can change the utility and efficiency of Space grid structures and make them sustainable.
Concluding, it can be said that due to increase in calamities, the demand for temporary structures has gone up. In such circumstances Hybrid Bamboo Structures are efficient solution to provide Sustainable Built Envelope

Habeas Corpus In Apex Courtan Alternative Path To Obtain Child Custody, Sidestepping The Traditional Custody Petition In District Court
It is historically presumed and also often found to be embedded in the legal principles of family laws of many modern-day countries that during a child\u27s "tender" years (generally regarded as the age of four and under), the mother should have custody of the child. The family laws prevalent in India upholds the doctrine no differently and, generally, in any custodial dispute between sparring couples having “tender aged” children, usually the custodianship is awarded to the mother.
However, in recent times, the ‘tender-years’ doctrine has been replaced by ‘best interests of the child’ doctrine in advanced economies such as the USA and European Union as the tender-years doctrine was often not doing the justice in terms of child welfare needs and in USA the tender-years doctrine was found to be violating the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution
